Service from Kraig in the restaurant was impeccable. Very professional.
Kraig the waiter was very good and service was great.
Coach tour, who was treated as second class citizens, food not very good especially with people with allergies they didn't ask about, Tea was especially helpful.
We booked to stay for 1 night for my cousins funeral nearby. Last minute we decided to stay the previous night too in case of traffic issues so booked to arrive within hours, getting to the hotel at 12.30am The Gentleman on the desk was super helpful linking the 2 bookings and ensuring we could remain in the same room and a wonderful gesture of complimentary breakfast. Unfortunately we had an awful first nights sleep as there was some sort of fan running in the ceiling space, with a humming sound, (room 230) despite everything in the room turned off. We reported it first thing and we were immediately moved to a much nicer room. 218. I left the window open all day when we went to the funeral returning late at night, with no exaggerating we had about 200 midgies fly things on our ceiling it was quite fun watching my husband dispel of them. This was not the hotels fault its nature. You may wonder why I gave 5 stars despite a bad night first sleep. Things go wrong in life, equipment etc goes faulty but it’s how a place deals with an issue and the staff at this hotel could not have been more helpful to ensure our stay was still pleasant. Thank you to all, you made an emotional time easier.
We have regularly stayed at this hotel for 2 days twice a year and another Kew Green run hotel also for 4 days per year in York I specifically asked when checking in as I am a Priority club member AND my wife has a disabled badge if parking was free as usual .I was assured it was and duly input the registration number of my hired van .Imagine my horror when the hire company presented me with a bill for £60 plus their admin charge of £30 .I rang the hotel and spoke to Hassan who told me it would be resolved and as it hadn t spoke to Tea who was most helpful but still 15 days later I have been ignored by the General Manager not even an acknowledgement .Last week I have put it in the hands of Intercontinental Hotels who have assured me that Holiday Inn will contact me .They have done nothing so far
I will definitely return. My stay was great, the attention from Manager M Ishak was excellent, super attentive, and all the staff were smiling and helpful. We had a small problem with the room and they moved us to another room. The pool was great for going as a family, and the food and buffet were super delicious. My family and I would like to thank all the staff for their excellent service and professional attention. We will definitely be back soon; we felt right at home.We disconnected from the city of London for a few days in a great hotel thanks to
Teá and Celine made our check-in so smooth, warm and welcoming. We had a lovely stay — the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the little touches like the coffee pods and chocolate bar waiting for us were such a nice touch. We were staying for work and had a great, restful stay. The leisure centre is fantastic too. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you! 😊
Came for a breakfast on Sunday morning at Holiday inn Shepperton. Julie gave a excellent service
Had breakfast on Sunday morning.. Excellent service given to us by staff Julie.
The hotel room did not contain a single draw or shelf for us to unpack for a week-long stay. We had to get assistance from Reception to open the room safe and were astonished that all their staff have access to the master key – we did not leave our valuables in the room safe. I had hoped to use the pool / steam room each day, however the steam room was out of operation the entire week and the pool area was sometimes closed to hotel guests for water aerobics classes, and at other times busy with kid swim lessons and “club member” usage. We were very surprised on arrival to learn that there is a guest parking fee, and despite correctly registering our rental vehicle with Reception we are still in dispute with the rental car agency over the multiple parking notices and fines assessed. We did appreciate the friendly and happy hotel staff at Reception, in the restaurant, and in housekeeping and we did enjoy breakfast each day.
Very welcoming hotel and staff. Particular praise for Ayra on reception who was super helpfut but others were helpful too, didn’t catch their names. We stayed 3 nights and considering how hot it was outside (30+ on first day) it was great to be indoors, use the pool and generally walk around the place. And the room is very good, clean and comfortable beds. Nice to see a bit of a kids sitting down area near the restaurant too, that wasn’t around last time I came 4 years ago.
Excellent Service We had a fantastic experience thanks to Reagan at the bar and Celine at reception. Both were extremely friendly, welcoming and professional. They went out of their way to make sure we were well looked after and made our stay even more enjoyable. A big thank you to Reagan and Celine for their excellent service. They are a real credit to the hotel! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The location was lovely, secluded, peaceful and set away from any major roads. The nearest shops are quite a way away though, you need to drive to them, so best to make sure you bring everything you need. Signposting to the location was okay, but possibly one or two more signs to the hotel and car park along the road would be helpful. The atmosphere was nice, it was a calm environment, seating areas were spacious and the decor was nice - I especially liked the posters in my room. The room was clean, had everything I needed, though the wardrobe could have done with making it easier to hang a long dress, there was a single hanging rail which faced the front of the wardrobe instead of going along, and there wasn't enough space below it for anything longer than a shirt which wasn't ideal as I was there for a wedding. The air con worked perfectly, the bed was firm but comfortable, but the TV could have used more channels or the ability to cast to it. The shower was okay, could have been more powerful, but I didn't get to use it until the day I left as the water was out across the entire hotel on the day of the wedding! We had to get bottles of water from the bar, boil it in the kettle, and then I ended up having a strip wash out of an ice bucket before the wedding, because the sink in my room didn't hold water! The site might need some fixing up though, in addition to the water being out, the lifts were out of order, the steam room wasn't working, and the grates around the hot tub kept coming loose. Might be worth doing a top to toe sweep of the hotel to make sure it's all in working order before the next 200 person wedding! The food at the buffet breakfast was standard fare, but there was a good selection and despite being extremely busy, they made sure there was plenty available. The drinks were very expensive though, it was £15 for a double spirit and mixer, and a lot of people ended up going elsewhere to bring their own after seeing the prices. I can't fault the staff though, on check-in Tea was lovely, she made sure I had everything I needed, and Celine did really well dealing with the water crisis and the many customer complaints, though I do think she could have done with more support from her manager. The front desk staff were left to handle all the customers, but they did a very good job considering, while I barely saw the manager. It would have been nice if the hotel management been more proactive in managing the water situation instead of simply reacting to the customers and leaving it to the front desk and waiting staff to deal with. The staff in the bar and restaurant were lovely and helpful too, special shout out to Kraig who despite being two months in did his best to manage the many cocktail orders, even though they'd run out of a lot of stock behind the bar, and he made sure everyone was happy with their drinks and not waiting too long, he did very well. Genuinely no complaints about any of the staff I interacted with over the weekend, they were all lovely. All in all, not a bad stay, and the wedding was good, so would probably recommend!
The hotel was great and the staff were especially accommodating despite the issue with the water, especially Kraig who was very patient behind the bar and helped with food orders and drinks.
Was at the hotel less than 1 minute and Tea from reception gave us the warmest welcome. Give the girl a raise! Fantastic people skills. Brilliant start to the trip
We just stayed for 3 nights for our 150yr anniverssary cricket tour. This was a group of 50 with 27 youth players and 21 adult with 2 choldren. For the location, decor, facilities, and hotel in itself as the group manager I was pleasantly impressed. Customer service from each one if the staffs that I had interacted with were very professional and helpful especially the two front office ladies Celine and Tea. They were attentive, professional, they listened and certainly went above and beyond to make our stay an enjoyable one. Having these two capable ladies at the front and dealing with them certainly made us feel secured and extra comfortable. I would like to thank Celine and Tea for their help over the course of our trip, and wish them both the best. There are some areas for the hotel to look at improving is - communication and proactive stakeholder management. As a commercial entity you are vouching for large tour groups of different ages among the OAP holiday makers and your usual client tale. This must work very well with your earnings. As much as our stay went very well but there should be a guest level communication take place as we all check in for the type of group we are hosting in the same period. A hotel like this should be a place for everyone whether you are checking in for a romantic getaway, quite couple of nights or part of a group- there should be more concious efforts made to manage everyone's expectation not just one particular group. If an OAP group is your client tale who happens to be in the hotel at the same time as a sporting team, there need to be some of level of mutual understanding on both sides not just one. Swimming time- children swimming time strictly ended at 6.30 last entry. Our team left the hotel by 10.30am every morning and did not get back until 6pm yet so many adults who wanted to have a quite swim appeard during 6-7pm. Again this interuptions can be managed with pre communication to those guests by understanding what the group's itinerary is. Luggage- for a Group of 50 when travelling from overseas - at a min a hotel should be expecting 1 bag each for a contingent storage providing that hospitable service proactively however we did not feel there was any plan in place perhaps initially we were made feel it was a problem maybe without a solution. Eventually we did ended up getting looked after well once Sandra got involved. Again, proactive planning, and mutual understanding, and tailored communication to each one of your client tale individual, couple or group should make things a much more simpler and easier for everyone. Thanks, Shariful Islam
Another lovely stay at hotel….breakfast brilliant and staff the best….Hassaan for getting room organised and Julie and Alison in the restaurant…..Hope we have many more visits!
Celine at reception was very welcoming and polite, I enjoy my stay at this place in all aspects
I've stayed here a lot over the last 2 years around 30 times roughly. Upon arriving I was met by Celine, friendly, warming and probably one of my best welcoming if I'm being honest. When Celine was checking me in I queired my missing Greener points from previous stay which she rectified straigh away thanks Celine. The hotel is quite busy as summer holidays are a busy time, and the pool in particular was closed at some points Also the steam room again was out of action which is disappointing as this when working is a great Steam room. Room, lovely and cool, usually the AC in most hotels is pathetic but this was brilliant and really fresh. The bed great, the pillow on my previous stays weren't that great however this time unbelievable, really comfy, I think they have changed recently if they have it's gone noticed and I had a great sleep. Breakfast il looked to eat early and service and food are really well prepared can't really fault it. I've eaten here several times in past and decided to eat out for dinner but the food is pretty good. A good array of drinks. Car park has plenty of space so you won't be short. Usually you have to pay for parking but as they are doing some work and given my points Celine comp these. Overall very happy with the service from start to finish. Rooms differ in sizes and accessories, if you book an upgrade you have Nespresso machine, chocolate bars which are great and a few snacks. Basic double shower, bath load of wardrobe space kettle with bag coffee which is so much better than freeze dried. I'll be back again soon. Thanks all
What a peculiar hotel. It's stuck behind trees and high hedges in what appeared to be the middle of nowhere. It was as though the owners didn't want anyone to find it. Apart from our room's view over a maze of extractor fans, making it look like we were in the middle of an industrial estate, we never once came across a "view" from this oddly designed building. That's unless you count the evil-looking duckpond at the back (or was it the front?) of the building of course. But first the good stuff. The place was clean, the food excellent and the staff, with one exception - see below - were friendly and helpful. We visited on the hottest days and nights of the year and found we had a choice between leaving the noisy air con on all night or suffering under a duvet that would have been more fitting in mid-winter. Another downside was the room TV. Every channel we tried came up with "Subtitles not available", which meant I struggled to understand throughout our stay because of my hearing problems. On our first night I asked at reception if it was me who was missing something, to be told by receptionist Anya (?) that she would be up to our room to see what she could do "in fifteen minutes". Three days later we were still waiting. And another moan. Why were there no drawers in the room at all? A couple of narrow shelves at the bottom of the wardrobe and that was it.
Fantastic service at the breakfast bar, Beverley saw to everything for us, nice conversation and a very warm person
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Holiday Inn Shepperton for hosting our staff summer party last week. A special thank you to Melroy for organising such a fantastic event. Everything was managed perfectly, even with several last-minute changes, and nothing was ever too much trouble. His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care ensured everyone had a wonderful time. The food was outstanding, so compliments to the chef and kitchen team for the amazing spread. The bar staff (Veldon) were also excellent, serving drinks quickly and efficiently throughout the evening. We highly recommend Holiday Inn Shepperton for private parties and events. The fantastic team, led by Melroy, made our celebration truly memorable, and we look forward to returning for future events. Thank you all once again!
We regularly come to IHG Shepperton for work and we always have a brilliant experience. The facilities are great and the rooms are lovely, with super comfy beds. Every staff member is always so polite and friendly, but a special mention needs to be made to Celine. Celine is always exceptional on reception, she’s almost becoming the reason we come to stay now! She’s so friendly and can’t do enough for us, and is extremely professional. She’s a credit to the hotel 😊
Lovely hotel, good was nice, rooms very good. Paula at breakfast was fab.
We had a wonderful experience. Fred was a great server, amazing food beautifully presented.
Special thanks to Arya and the team, who were professional, friendly and incredibly helpful.
Always a nice little getaway. Good value. Kraig & Alison friendly and helpful. Celine & ayra also great and accommodating. Missed tea from reception this time but she is also really helpful & accommodating and always smiling when we have previously visited.
I recently organised a staff party for my company at Holiday Inn Shepperton and was truly impressed with the level of organisation and professionalism throughout. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, from the food to the overall setup, which made the event run seamlessly. A special thank you to Melroy, the Operations Manager, who was incredibly helpful and supportive every step of the way. The food was absolutely fantastic, and the team were approachable, flexible, and easy to work with during the planning process. I would highly recommend this venue for any corporate event or celebration!
Alison, Ankit and Kraig were absolutely wonderful during my stay. Not only did they take care of all my needs, but helped arrange my trip and travel to maximize my time here. Genuine people, incredible hospitality
Every little time spent here is worth it, I met 3 members of staff that are exceptional, Celine at the reception, Julie and Alison at the breakfast section, all this people made it worth coming back
Shepperton Very nice hotel and staff Ayra at reception was very polite and helpful. Rooms clean and good value with access to the swimming pool and spa
Alison was amazing very friendly made me laugh straight away and made my morning! Lovely hotel but people like Alison make it worth while
Very good customer service, friendly and welcoming
Had a lovely stay here for a birthday treat from my daughter and her family from the moment I arrived I was spoiled rotten by celine on reception who went above and beyond to make sure I had an enjoyable stay I wish we had more people like her thank you so much celine
I find this hotel to be a real hidden gem. I was working near Heathrow Airport, which is only a short drive away, making this location incredibly convenient. The staff here are fantastic. The reception team is highly knowledgeable, and the restaurant and bar staff are very attentive. A special mention goes to Alison, who is incredibly welcoming in the morning—exactly the kind of positive start you need before a long workday! The only slight downside for me is the breakfast selection. I'm a big granola and yogurt fan; while they do offer it, the quality of the granola isn't great (though to be fair, I think that might be a broader IHG-wide issue rather than just this specific hotel). During my stay, I also appreciated receiving an invitation under my door to a business welcome meeting. The events manager was exceptionally welcoming and made a genuine effort to circulate and speak to absolutely everyone in attendance. I’d definitely stay here again for business
Kraig made a great coffee today for all the yoga ladies. Best coffee ever
Great hotel and hospitality especially from Alison and Bella. Thank you!
I had a wonderful experience during my stay. The hotel was excellent, and the reception staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. I would especially like to thank Mr. Waleed for his kindness, warm welcome, and outstanding service. He made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.
Everything would have been perfect at this hotel had we not had a heatwave. The air conditioning unit was very poor. The heat hit us as soon as we entered the bedroom. We called reception and a maintainance man came up and assured us it was working. Its certainly not adequate. We were given a fan which helped but still uncomfortable and noisy. Bed comfortable , tv channels great. Breakfast outstanding The best thing about this hotel is the wonderful Staff. Big thanks to ALISON for all her help. She is such a lovely kind person. We shall return in cooler months.
We stayed at this hotel as it was part of a package to go to Wimbledon. We paid for an extra night as we left Wimbledon late and didn’t want a long trip home . On arrival at the on hotel which was on Thursday . We were getting by the receptionist who check us in . Everything went smoothly until we got to our room. With the heat wave and temperature was 31 outside we expected our room to be cool with air con . The room smelt damp & the bathroom door was damaged so unable to close the door at all. I tried to see if the air was on the wrong setting on the thermostat on the wall, but I could see maybe it was faulty. We decided to go down to reception to see if we could move rooms . The receptionist advised us that the hotel was full & could move us the following day . They gave us a fan for the room which wasn’t ideal & so we had a sleepless night. The following morning , we managed to get another room , but had to move all of our stuff to the new room before we went on our trip to Wimbledon. I feel the staff could have helped further with helping us move our cases . The reception team needs to have more staff on . We noticed that they have one extremely helpful receptionist Ayra) , who tried her best to help us & the other receptionist was the polar opposite of being helpful, in fact came across rude and aggressive towards us and other customers. The bar . We went to the bar for some drinks . The chap behind the bar did not know how to make one of the cocktails and so asked someone else to do this . This caused a big queue in the end behind us. We were given dirty glasses on more than one occasion during our stay . The toilets by the restaurant are the dirtiest restrooms I’ve seen in a hotel for a long time . Hand towels all over the floor & the floor in general looked dirty. No toilet paper in the cubicle & Not services or monitored daily which should be. The swimming pool - we went for a swim on our first day of arrival . The changing rooms were dirty . The reception staff in the gym were rude and not welcoming. She had her back to us , and when asking her if we needed to sign in she never turned around to look at us . The ladies attitude was none customer service ! We have never stayed at a Holiday Inn before & with our first impressions & experience will be the last .
Waleed was very kind and welcoming. He had great energy and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. Thank you!
We stayed as a family with our children and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Everyone made us feel so welcome, and nothing was ever too much trouble. A special thank you to Celine and Ishak, who truly went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care for our family really stood out and made all the difference. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and family-friendly, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Thank you to the whole team for such excellent hospitality!
I've been staying at the hotel for an extended period and have had a fantastic experience throughout. The team have consistently made me feel welcome and nothing has ever been too much trouble. A special thank you to Ishak, Celine and Hassaan, who have all been exceptional. They are always friendly, professional and genuinely care about their guests. Their attention to detail and willingness to help have made my stay so much more enjoyable. The hotel is comfortable, well maintained and the service has been consistently excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone, whether for a short visit or a longer stay. Thank you to the whole team for making it feel like a home away from home.
celine , Hassan and Ishail were kind and helpful, they helped us a lot and welcome us with warm heart especially after the nightmare night we spent (as we AC was not working in our room and there were no air to breath and also we had bothered by opposite room guys knocking our door agressively at late night and run away as there is no CCTV camera in the corridors !!)
Stayed for one night, lovely welcome by reception and a good room. Had dinner there and it was good too, breakfast was also worth while. The ladies on duty as you went into the restaurant for breakfast were absolutely lovely very welcoming and friendly.
Have stayed here many times and have never been disappointed with the service and quality of the comfortable rooms great and lounge areas. Today we were met with a very warm welcome from Celine on the front desk. Great dining menu and breakfast too. We will continue to return here.
Great hotel with lovely, friendly staff. The room was spotless and well equipped with an iron, hairdryer, tea and coffee-making facilities, and a fridge. The air conditioning was a lifesaver on the hottest day of the year! Access to the pool and leisure facilities was an added bonus, and parking was free for overnight guests. We ate in the restaurant, which was really nice and reasonably priced. The staff never stopped cleaning and tidying. Julie, who was working in the restaurant, was especially attentive and even boxed up my partner's pizza when he couldn't finish it. We had a great night's sleep in a lovely cool room. The breakfast the next day was excellent and plentiful. Would highly recommend this hotel! 😊
The property is beautifully maintained and welcoming. The staff - from the front desk, to the bar and restaurant, to the cleaning staff - consistently showed kindness and thoroughness in their work. At the front desk, Waleeot is such a great example of the high standards of hospitality to which IHG aspire.
Really comfortable stay , had an issue on check in due to my booking platform. Reception staff (Tea and Ayra) sorted everything out quickly and efficiently- really great service. First time stay but will be back!
Have been coming here for a few years and it don’t matter who is on reception they are always friendly kind and ready to help. Téa always remembers my name even after not visiting for a few months which is very welcoming. New lady Ayra was so helpful to to then gentleman I front on my and how she interacted with myself I can tell she will be an asset to the company. Always enjoy my stay and even if I had an issue it was always cleared up quickly and efficiently. I’ve also stayed here on my own expenses and will worth a stay. Steve
This Holiday Inn will knock your socks off! From check-in to check-out everything went smoothly. The hotel is very clean and nicely decorated. They have a fantastic breakfast buffet available along with other amenities if you have the opportunity to enjoy them. The staff members I encountered were all very pleasant, but I want to give a big shout out to Celine. Thank you for being such a sweet, friendly, and very helpful person!
Had a wonderful stay at this hotel, room was clean and well maintained,Excellent value for money,Special shout-out to Ayra at reception she explained everything in a professional way and helped us a lot during check in, I would definitely come back soon again.
We had the pleasure of attending our cousins wedding reception here….the day was lovely, the hotel was lovely , has massively changed since I last went there, so much nicer…..the room looked great and the staff were very helpful. Must make a special mention to Alison, the lady that booked my husband and myself in for breakfast, we arrived b4 anyone came down and chatted to Alison until they arrived, what a lovely lady, so friendly and funny and very welcoming, was having some good banta with my husband, I’m not a great morning person but she soon cheered me up 😊 she’s also helped calm our nervous cousin (the bride) the night b4 the wedding…… she’s a credit to your company!
Check in was great abd super efficient and Naheed at reception demonstrated excellent customer service. . He is a credit to IHG group
We stayed at the hotel the night before ladies day at royal Ascot with the aim to get a good rested sleep before the event, however that was not the case due to the air con not working. It wasn’t an isolated incident there were many rooms where it wasn’t working. When I raised this with reception they offered to put a fan in my room (insistent they did it rather than me wait for it) and a free drink (reception staff lacking empathy at the situation). When I went to my room a few hours later there was no fan as they instructed, when I went back down at 11pm they had to fix an old one to give me, this was a tiny fan did not like at all suitable for the room size or safe, as such when we took to the room it did not work. It was the most restless night the room was so warm and the same the next morning when getting ready, to the point we left the hotel door open to get a breeze in. In addition the hotel is very dated including the rooms TLC is needed and does not feel clean at all. Other facilities -pool/sauna ok - drinks prices in the bar overpriced for a holiday inn - hairdryer in room needs updating - breakfast edible I would not stay here and has put me off staying at any other holiday inns
Stayed for 3 nights. Be aware there is a £8 per night parking charge payable on arrival which is sheer profiteering as hotel in the middle of nowhere. Generally good stay for 2 nights with good service from most staff. Some items missing from lunch menu. Everything went downhill on last night, on returning found the bed made but everything else missing no tea, coffee, milk. Also no toilet rolls or hand soap and most importantly no bath towels just hand towels left. No reply from reception on phone so had to go to reception to get missing items. Amazed to be told there were no bath towels! Eventually some towels were sourced from gym but a total shambles. Our only visit for breakfast was unimpressive with a rude staff member reluctantly checking us in. Messy buffet area with overcooked hot food. Real shame as with more attention to detail would be great
The hotel is perfectly situated and has a lovely beer garden, which is great after a stressful day at work. The rooms are a bit dated and showing signs of wear and tear which lets them down but the staff are the jewel. Lily and Phoebe in the bar always have a smile and a giggle and are an asset. Tia on reception is amazing, with such a professional friendly manner. They are the reason we keep booking but management need to update the decor.
I have been in Dubai for over 22 years as a business owner, however originally from the UK and London! When I do travel to the UK, at list three times a year to visit family and friends, I always keep coming back to Holiday Inn in Shepperton, only because of, firstly the team here and the good value for money it is! Big shout out to the front desk tram Isaak and Celin, they are superb and extremely professional and welcoming! Considering the competition, the small things make huge difference! Thanks guys🌹
Really enjoyed our stay. It was a popular venue. The Rooms, were sufficient and clean. The food was of a very good standard and we were served by Julie who was fantastic. Service was good on all levels. rooms were good. cleanliness was great.
I loved my stay and had an amazing experience. The room was very clean and comfortable, which was exactly what I needed after a long day at work. All of the staff were lovely and accommodating throughout my visit. I believe it was Ayra at reception who checked me in. She kindly offered me water and allocated me a room in a quiet corridor to ensure I had a comfortable stay. Very Thoughtful! Will definitely stay again.
We arrived at the lovely location (quite and with a stream in the grounds - like an oasis) around 3pm, the check in staff were lovely & helpful. Our room was clean, tidy (1 Double Premium Sofa Bed) - the aircon was lovely as it was already on! Some of the room could have used a lick of paint, some areas needed some moderate fixes to have lifted this up to five stars. Overall though clean, comfortable & the tea / coffee facilities were lovely. Milk in the fridge too :) We had cocktails & bar snacks around 4pm which were tasty, good sized portions. As the weather was so nice we sat outside which had a nice atmosphere and was regularly cleared up by the attentive staff. We chose to use the pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. All were small but perfect for us -it was quiet after 7pm (no children) & very few others in there so felt that we had a very relaxing time. Showers & facilities poolside were good & had everything we needed. We had drinks at the bar, atmosphere was great & were well looked after by Eamonn (brilliant barman) and had dinner in the restaurant where Ishma gave outstanding service. Our main meal was delicious and quite a big portion for the money, so we were very satisfied! Great night sleep had by us in our very comfortable bed and sofa bed! Highlight of the stay - breakfast was incredible! Included in our hotel price - which was a bargain rate! Julie and Alison did an amazing job taking us through the huge buffet and you could eat as much as you like. I have travelled a lot and this buffet was one of the best that I have seen. Fabulous stay - great value. We will definitely be back!
Nice location, very cool and nice staff. My experience was after all good and pleasant.
Having stayed at the Holiday inn at Shepperton before I was really impressed with the professional and friendly reception I recieved from the moment i checked in. The place looked fresher after recent decoration and the sauna/gym facilities also have improved tremendously. I noticed a new menu so ate in the bar area and really enjoyed the food which was reasonably priced. I found all the staff very warm and friendly. Have to mention Celine checking me in to Tea checking me out both very friendly and professional.
Had a lovely experience thanks to Ayra at reception. She was amazing, super helpful, and made everything so easy from start to finish. The hotel itself was amazing. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the pool was relaxing and the restaurant had great food and service. Would definitely stay again!
Some of the best customer service we have experienced and we have been to a lot of hotels. Tea at the desk was so friendly and fetched me ice for my drink to go home, Julie in the restaurant was so cheerful and friendly, really made us feel welcome and I believe it was Ayra in the restaurant the previous evening did absolutely everything to make sure we had a great experience. Whatever they do here to make staff so attentive, keep doing it!
Very friendly and helpful staff after a mix up with our room. Dealt with very promptly. Our new room was clean and comfortable. Our waitress, Julie, was very efficient and friendly.
Everything worked as expected, Internet etc. Breakfast and dinner were good. A bit outside of town, so we didn't go into the town of Shepperton. There was an Ironing board in the room. Seemed to be a bit of an older building and a maze to get to the room. Fun to see photos from Shepperton studios on the wall.
Arrived for a 2 night stay as going to Paw Patrol world. Check in team helpful, made sure we had interconnecting rooms. Small play area for kids to keep themselves busy whilst we had a pre dinner drink. Alexyus and her team were attentive and ensured meal went smoothly. I would recommend as a family friendly chain hotel.
Quick and easy -great customer service
Waleed was very helpful and friendly would definitely recommend this place to anybody!
Another 5 star stay. We have a family member with food intolerances and the staff in the restaurant where great as normal. Every staff member acknowledges you as walk around the hotel. Great location for local attractions and a great route into the capital.
This hotel is run by staff who care about the guest experience, going the extra mile to ensure a quality stay in a clean modern environment. Equipped with fantastic bar and restaurant alongside pool/spa and gym. Rooms are clean well equipped and comfortable. Ishak and team always offer a polite greeting and look after guest needs whilst the Bar Restaurant Team deliver a relaxed atmosphere with quality food and drink. Paula and team make breakfast a warm and enviting experience.
The hotel is large but well appointed with extensive grounds, pool, gym, sauna etc. our room was large and comfortable and breakfast was v good, including proper bread to toast not cheap sliced Homepride you often get. Perfect for an overnight stay.
We were a group of 50 from Manchester. The hotel processed our arrival quickly. The rooms were more than comfortable and the food (both breakfast and dinner) was great. Many thanks to the staff. A special mention to Julie in the restaurant. She was friendly, helpful and brought a smile to everyone.
This was a very poor experience. None of the rooms had working air conditioning, which appeared to be centrally switched off, and despite raising it multiple times, nothing was done. Offering two glasses of wine for 11 people felt completely inadequate. One room (226) was in an unacceptable state — wet bed, hairs in the bathroom, urine on the toilet, dirty surfaces and no bin liners. It was reported at 6:30pm and not partially addressed until after midnight, which is unacceptable. The only gesture offered was a Baileys, which was frankly insulting. Two rooms were next to a delivery bay, and with no air con the windows had to stay open, meaning guests were woken around 4am by deliveries. When I asked to speak to the duty manager the next morning, I was told they refused to come out. We were only offered 30% off two rooms, despite all six being affected. A formal complaint has since received no response at all, and as this appears to be an IHG franchise, there seems to be no accountability from IHG either. Overall, a very disappointing stay well below expected standards.
The staff here were very friendly and helpful especially Julie in the restaurant who dealt with a large group of us extremely efficiently.
Highly recommend very welcoming and pleasant especially Julie and her hospitality, she made us feel very welcomed and loved seeing her every morning.
Arrived 2.45 am after a long drive from Leeds, tired and ready for bed. Abdullah on reception understood straight away how exhausted I was. He took care of me got me checked in, sorted out my breakfast for the morning, even rang, once in my room, to say I hadn't verified my vehicle reg for the onsite parking and did it for me. To say he went out of his way would be an understatement. I stay in so many hotels where the staff have no empathy and lack human compassion it was so refreshing to be greeted by someone as genuinely caring as Abdullah. The next day breakfast staff and reception lady I think her name was Thea were so lovely too its a credit for Holiday Inn for having such brilliant people.
Top service and lovely location. The bar man Eamonn made the best rum punch I’ve had since I was on the black pearl with Jack Sparrow
I have stayed in a few IHG Holiday Inn hotels over the years, I must add this was the best experience that I have come a cross! The minute I arrived in a lovely part of Surrey I could feel something special will happen. I walked up to the reception and was met by Tea with a big smile who was a pleasure to deal with. A very nice and lovely lady who made me feel very welcomed to this hotel explaining everything along with Tea’s colleague Abdullah, in which I felt I had known them both for some time. Tea & me laughing, made me feel very relaxed. I was so at ease I shared my good news with them both that I’ve just become a grandad again sharing the news of my first granddaughter to add to my five grandsons, Abdullah presented me with a free drink to celebrate my news which was very thoughtful. I stayed for two nights and definitely will return when I’m next in the area, lovely facility along with very nice staff especially the reception team 🤗 Food was excellent especially the breakfast, best poached eggs for sometime , the bonus of watching champions League football on prime TV in the bar area. My room was lovely and everything about this hotel was great and a perfect location for seeing my customer. Would recommend staying and the pleasure to meet Tea & Abdullah, oh next time will bring my swimmers and shorts for the gym. Only negative was car parking charges for both nights @ 8.00 for 24hrs, so go and give Tea & Abdullah a visit 🤗
Amazing place stay here regular when visiting family. Abdullah helped make this stay extra special by being super assertive and helpful
Really nice service. Restaurant had great service. Food came hot and quick.
Great stay for business, comfortable and great staff
The real soul of this place is the people. It’s rare to find a team so dedicated to making you feel welcome. I want to give a massive shout-out to: Ishak (Hotel Manager): A true professional who leads by example. He is constantly visible, greeting guests with a warm handshake and making sure everyone is happy. It’s clear his leadership sets the high standard here. Tea: Such a lovely, sweet person! She is incredibly attentive and always seems to be right there the moment you need anything at all. Celine: Her service is simply outstanding. She is proactive, efficient, and was right there whenever I needed a hand with something. Waleed: What can I say? This guy is just a total legend! His personality and energy really made the stay memorable. Comfort & Peace of Mind The room was impressively spacious and the bed was so comfortable I actually struggled to get out of it in the morning! One of the best parts was how quiet the hotel is; there were no noisy corridors or outside distractions, just perfectly peaceful nights and a proper night's sleep. Top-Tier Facilities I also made sure to take advantage of the amenities: Leisure Centre: The facilities are great, and the sauna and steam room are amazing—the perfect way to decompress. Dining: There is a fantastic selection of food available. WiFi 6 is available too so speedy internet. Much better than previous stays Final Verdict: If you are looking for a stay where you are treated like family rather than just a room number, this is the place. Between the peaceful rooms and the world-class team, I can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!
On entry I am always greeted with wonderful smile from TEA. She is always polite helpful and very understanding. For being a young person at front of house and dealing with all sorts of issues. I have never seen her stressed. Well done keep up the good work and keep smiling
Nadeem in the restaurant was fantastic.
Came here for a work trip. My colleagues were bogged down with heavy trolley and several bags. Waleed on reception was exceptional!!! Nothing was too much hassle for him, he even assisted us with parking and timings of all of the hotels facilities as we were working irregular hours. He even went the extra mile to ensure the luggage was taken to our rooms, really welcoming us and insured we had everything we needed. A credit to the staff here. 5/5
Check in good. Carried bags to room on third floor as lift out of action. Food very very good but huge portions. The nacho starter could have been a main meal. Very friendly staff especially nadeem nothing to much trouble. Room clean and welcoming although sur con did not work.
Exalent stay at the holiday inn as always has to be one of my favourite of the holiday inn I have stayed at. The staff are always so friendly and helpful especially as I work nights and arrive late there is always 24 hour food avaliable which makes it very good for working nights or lates. Ishak and the reception team are very good and always happy to help and needs and strive to make the stay as best as possible. The food menu in the restaurant is one of the best menus that I have seen in all the holiday inns I have stayed at. They have a good variety of snacks at the bar that also makes it good. Breakfast is always amazing what makes it better is the friendly chef Cliffe who has been here as long as I can remember. He's always willing to go above and beyond as ask if there's anything extra you want for breakfast unless I'm just special! The rooms are very nice and clean and very spacious.
Location was stunning. Rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable. Staff were unforgettably kind especially Waheed & Abdullah, they created a warm and welcoming atmosphere and were extremely helpful!! We will definitely be back !!!
Clean welcoming hotel, rooms adequate pillow score low take your own. Walls not great acoustic insulation. Toiletries provided but no water. It’s like gold. Available for sale at breakfast w Available for sale at breakfasts brea Healing is
An absolutely lovely hotel. Clean and fresh. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Julie in the restaurant was cheerful, helpful and outstanding.
Fantastic Hotel!! We are regulars of the hotel stay a few times a week due to working local. A very well presented hotel with fantastic services. Waleed at the desk is a credit to high quality hospitality always goes above and beyond to help us. He is one of the reason we return to the hotel. Great Team Members fantastic Hotel!
We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn London – Shepperton and once again had such a fantastic experience. The location alone is a real highlight — set along the Thames, the surroundings are absolutely stunning, with peaceful, picturesque views that make it feel like a true escape from the busy city. It’s one of those places where you instantly relax the moment you arrive. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained. The rooms are immaculately clean, thoughtfully designed, and furnished to a very high standard. Everything feels comfortable, modern, and well looked after, which really makes a difference during your stay. We’ve stayed here multiple times now and consider ourselves regular guests — and there’s a big reason we keep coming back. One member of staff in particular, Waleed, consistently goes above and beyond. Every time we arrive and see him at reception, we know we’re in good hands. He’s always welcoming, professional, and genuinely attentive, making sure everything runs smoothly. Waleed is an absolute credit to the hotel — incredibly honest, trustworthy, and clearly passionate about his role. His level of service really stands out, and it’s rare to come across someone so dedicated. In our opinion, he truly deserves recognition and would make an excellent manager. Overall, this hotel never disappoints. Between the beautiful setting, high standards, and exceptional staff, it’s a place we’ll continue returning to time and time again
We had a lovely family stay at the hotel and really enjoyed our time there. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well looked after, making it easy to relax. The kids absolutely loved the pool, which was definitely a highlight of our stay. The breakfast was great with plenty of choice, and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. A special mention to Lucie, who was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The nice weather made everything even more enjoyable. Overall, a wonderful experience and we would happily return.
Lovely hotel lovely food lovely ambience hats off to manager Jhon Rico for really making our stay memorable loved the pool and jacuzzi will be back in summer
Tea @ Reception is Amazing, Always so Welcoming, Friendly and Helpful. Just a shame she is a Arsenal Supporter 😊
Great stay while visiting Chessington, perfect location! The hotel was modern, clean, and had everything we needed. Staff were friendly and welcoming, especially Lucie. Lovely touch with the kids’ Easter packs and great breakfast team too. Highly recommend and we’ll be definitely back!
Abdullah very nice guy, very polite very good guy and honest. very good service and a friend of mine at the end. nice guy
Abdullah was so phenomenal and professional. We’re traveling with a group and lost our room keys and he was so patient! When we came down to the bar for a late night drink, he was so accommodating and friendly with me and my friends. So polite and friendly! Would recommend this hotel to my friends and family! Thank you, Abdullah for making our night!-Nicole from Long Island
