Convenient location for us to walk to Molineaux Stadium to catch the football match. This hotel is clean and modern with all of the amenities we needed. Staff were friendly, food was good with prompt service. The front receptionists were incredibly helpful and made us feel like we were at home. Go Wolves! (From 2 Canadians who will continue to cheer from afar!)
A good location in easy reach of the station, town centre and Molineux.
There's a reason I return over and over The placement, staff and the food are all top class
Great thank you
Helpful staff. Great breakfast. Very convenient for the train station, bus station and city centre. Great parking facilities at reasonable rates.
I can't complain at all, they had everything right. Location very convenient, rooms clean and well equipped, nice breakfast, friendly staff
Brilliant stay for three nights while attending a music festival at KK's Steelmill. Location / parking / room all spot on - breakfast on Sunday was a bit chaotic as it was clearly busier than expected, but other than that it was a great stay. Will defo be back...... Thanks.
Needs a bit of TLC. rooms are jaded and things look a bit worn, electric sockets wobbly, all a bit dated and worn out.
The carpet was dirty....no safe was not working in all the rooms. Only good thing....bar is 24 hrs
The bathroom smelled like urine and not clean had stains on the cubicle. This is the first time i am getting a worst room in novotel.
Nice hotel in the centre of Wolverhampton, just a few minutes' walk from the station. Room was comfortable and spacious. A few minor defects that could do with some maintenance, such as the shower, but nothing that caused any discomfort. Staff were friendly and helpful enough but nothing particularly outstanding. Cost was reasonable. We didn't try the breakfast, so can't comment. Overall, it was a decent stay.
Friendly staff, clean rooms and goof location. Bar and restaurant is nice also. Couldnt ask for any more.
Stinks worst than a skunk small
Wonderful, good ambiance with excellent services.
I recently stayed at the Novotel Hotel and found it to be conveniently located just a short walking distance from the train station. The staff were friendly and helpful, making check-in and our overall stay pleasant. The lobby features a welcoming bar and a restaurant with a great selection of food options. Our room was spacious and well-equipped with amenities such as a coffee maker, kettle, blow dryer, iron, and fridge. The bed was comfortable with clean sheets, which made for a good night’s sleep. While the stay was comfortable overall, I do feel the property could benefit from some updates particularly in the carpets, drapes, and a fresh coat of paint to give it a more modern feel.
No dinner being served -"maintenance". There are dining places within 5-10 walk, but either over the busy ring road or through the subway - not great. Parking was £5, but armt least it was easy and felt in a secure enough area. Hotels windows that open - yay!
Comfortable, clean bed but room very noisy from all night traffic on the main road. No air con so windows needed to be open. Someone entered my room during the night with a key supposedly looking for a duvet, very scary when your door just opens a a light goes on. Not acceptable.
Great location close to the train station convenient to get around. The room had all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. I enjoy my view of the train station.
We like staying at this hotel. Its quiet, comfortable room, air con easy to work. Has sofa in room so dont just have to sit on bed. Has everything you need. Had breakfast this visit. Enjoyed it. Nice to see veggie sausage already out. You can order eggs if you dont want fried as well.
We stayed 2 nights staff are excellent and we had a very comfortable stay , thanks to all at Wolverhampton Novotel.
First time for us to stay in this hotel. Just the one night to attend a gig. Convenient location for the Train station and city centre. Friendly staff. Comfortable room. Didn't use the bar or restaurant - but they looked really good. Would definitely stay here again.
We booked in on line so it was seamless when we arrived. The room was lovely- clean with lots of hangers and great shower and nice to have a fridge. A comfortable bed made for a great sleep. Only problem was the satnav apparently doesn’t direct you to hotel and it is quite tricky to get to. The people on the desk know about this and maybe this could be addressed
Great stay was a bit worried about the gate being locked and having to call after 11 but it was still open when I got back great staff clean and quiet room and fab breakfast
Not impressed
Lovely hotel, welcoming, breakfast great choices.
The staff that welcomed us were very caring and very professional. Breakfast was the best in the morning. Staff brilliant
We chose to stay at the Novotel Wolverhampton because hotels in Birmingham were so expensive on the days we wanted to visit. As it happened, it turned out well for us because the Novotel is only a five minute walk to Wolverhampton train station with regular services to Birmingham New Street taking only 20 minutes or so. The hotel has an attractive reception area and our bedroom was nice and comfortable. However, it was a little on the noisy side when the windows were open due to the traffic outside. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Last but not least, we felt this hotel was very good value for money.
As ever great staff so lovely and helpful I’ve only been mean as there was a pair of dirty underpants in the wardrobe that I can assure you weren’t mine.
Not the easiest hotel to find; rooms could do with a refresh. Aircon good but not a great area.
First time stopping at a Novotel hotel. But it definitely won't be the last. From check-in to ordering food and everything in-between, was spot on. The whole hotel was amazing 👏. Your bosses should be very proud of all the staff.
Amazing
Friendly staff, clean and good value
Conveniently located for easy access to bus station train station, local theatre, civic hall concert venue.
Great for business trip
Very overpriced. Won't use again
First time in a Novotel and I was pleasantly surprised. Very smart modern hotel with a good bed and shower.
It’s a pity as the Staff service was excellent, and very friendly, however, the room toilet let it down as it had no Ladies Hygene bin or toilet cleaning brush.
Had a great stay, lovely room, good breakfast, unfortunately the milk tasted off that I used for my cereal.
Central location and very close to the train station. Booked two rooms though and one didn’t have a mini fridge and a safe missing the front panel. Apparently the safes in the rooms are currently out of order throughout. Did not state this when booking, it offers a working safe.
A really good service experience. The staff were very helpful. However, the price is not attractive.
Great location
Rooms very nice and quiet
Very good hotel and staff
Good
The rooms were not ready when we arrived at1:30 but we did get our rooms at 2:45. The lobby was good and the bar was open so no big issue. Staff were very welcoming especially Sharon who went upstairs to see if our rooms were ready. Breakfast in the morning was really good!
So for is good
The rooms are
Polite and helpful reception staff. Comfortable room which was clean. Bed very comfortable. Reasonable selection from the menu for an evening meal and the food is prepared well. Breakfast caters for all needs from full English through to continental and vegetarian with a good selection of fruit.
The early check in/out was great at no extra cost. The checkin lady asked me if I had paid because and said that she couldnt see my details online. She came across as very aloof. When coming back from a night out at around midnight - I was approached by an undesirable man whilst waiting for the lift. I ignored him when he was talking to me-he had previously been standing by the recepton desk when I entered the building. I did not feel safe in the hotel at that moment when I was approached by this stranger. When I went down for breakfast the next morning after waiting on my own for 5 minutes before being acknowledged to be seated. I gave the waitress my room number and then she asked me if I had paid? After eating some fruit I then went to get a full English breakfasrt. There were no hash-browns or mushrooms and I asked if some was coing out in which I was told 10 minutes. I got up a few times whilst eating my breakfast to check if anymore had been bought out to the eating area and was able to get a hash brown. I had to wait until I was on my second plate of food to get some mushrooms. There are
Real nice place ill be back
Staff were fantastic
Can't complain at all
Hi we got to hotel our room was ready ! But we got to room the fridge was broken and flashing light was broken ! I went down to change rooms but was given same ! So they said the fridge and light be fixed but nothing was done ! I went back down next day to find out why ! No record was logged ? So the member of staff on sorted and give us a free drink in bar ! I’m
Had to waiting 15 mins for checkin, staff not friendly and board line rude
Great place to stay
.
Just a brilliant stay Perfect for where we needed to be Thankyou
Not so great for what was paid. Sofa bed wasn’t ready for us even though we replied to the message saying we did require it. It was sorted for us later on as requested though. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable and couldn’t get a good sleep on it. Arriving at the hotel we was faced with a range of empty wine bottles littered outside our hotel room door. It felt dirty and for what we paid it didn’t reflect the price. There was also pizza boxes scattered further up the corridor. Stayed in cheaper places and been cleaner on arrival. Not sure why the litter was so evident outside the room either when it was late afternoon, it looked like previous guests had left then and not been cleaned. Probably wouldn’t stay here again unless no other choice sadly. Entrance and bar was nice and I’ve stayed at other Novotels but this one just let us down.
Very close to stadium and really and staff are really nice
The food was amazing, breakfast was great had different choices on what have, staying in the hotel was amazing and close to the city so many shops nearby, would.come back again
Lovely room, quiet, warm and comfy Nice easy location Staff were very helpful
Convenient ,clean and good bar and dinning area. Room was cold, sofa bed was old and extremely uncomfortable .
As expected from a Novotel hotel
Bed was lovely and comfortable, room was nice, clean and spacious.
Very dated hotel and room card didn't work time snd time again. Main plus point was the lovely breakfast. Hotel needs some urgent sprucing up!
Such lovely staff. Sadly our room needed a good gutting, the water didnt drain, dirty around the plug. Black mould and worst of all someone had made tea in the kettle and it was thick mould. Therefore hadnt been checked in weeks. I did mention to reception when I left and they gave us a free breakfast which was lovely. It was a stay for my Husbands birthday so less than ideal . That said the bed was super comfy and we would return
Room isn't ready at 3pm, water tank of the coffee machine is dirty inside. Staffs talking loud outside the room in early morning.
Not bad overall
Overall it’s not bad
Property was good with easy parking facilities. However their key machine wasn’t working so everytime we needed to go the room had to be escorted which was a bit inconvenient
Ticked all the right boxes. Clean and smart. Close to train station and city center.
Prima accommodatie voor dag/dagen Wolverhampton. Ideaal voor wedstrijd op Molineux. Goed en uitgebreid ontbijt
Totally enjoyed our overnight stay.. everything you needed was in the room . Thank you
Great hotel, unfortunately breakfast was tepid and the plates was always cold.
Great hotel for staying in Wolverhampton, Check-in was simple, facilities excellent as were the staff. Will be back.
Reception staff were lovely, although perplexed to find I had been checked out of my room before I had actually left; decent breakfast, very slow bar staff and mediocre bar food. Very convenient for the train station.
Carpet are really dirty in the room
Friendly and helpful staff. Handy location for town. Reception and bar etc all nice but room was worn and tired with dodgy electrical sockets. Didn’t feel like a £140 per night hotel.
All staff were very kind, helpful and efficient. Kelly on reception went above and beyond, very kind. The hotel is in good condition, well serviced, I would recommend.
Amazing hotel Lovely friendly helpful staff Great check out times
Very disappointing I could name a list of things but I’ll just give you a couple hygiene an the power went out an I had to leave
A few annoyances with the room… broken plug socket, broken toilet seat, AC unit with lights flashing all night. Clean and quiet though. Didn’t like having a dart board next to our table in the dining area; having darts being thrown next to our heads was annoying. The food was pretty poor… barely cooked chips, greasy fish and low quality pizza. Decided not to risk breakfast.
Sofa bed broke as not all slats there ... rubbish behind sofa bed was disgusting Stains on sofabed seating Staff did change room for me tho!
Our room was great and the hotel had everything we needed for our 2 night stay in Wolverhampton. It was clean, spacious, the Rituals toiletries in the bathroom were nice and the buffet breakfast was amazing with lots of choice. Parking was easy and cost £5 per day.
Staff would benefit from training on customer relations. Hotel guest are exactly that, guests! A courteous smile and at least a hint of welcome would suffice.
There was blood on my curtains and both my sheets and my friend’s had stains. The night bar staff were slow and didn’t know what they were doing.
Good stay, friendly staff, efficient check in and out. Good choice of food, although standard taste but acceptable. Quiet hotel to aid good nights sleep
The room was tired and not cleaned properly and the toilet was dirty and had a broken seat. The breakfast buffet was not good with cold hash browns and eggs and the cheese selection was hard and curled up. Disappointed.
Stayed for one night to attend a concert which was fine but couldn’t have stayed any longer. The most uncomfortable bed and pillow I have ever slept on .
Na
Enjoyed my stay
The hotel is very dated, and the room I was in end of the building was quite noise close to the road. The double glazed windows were not very effective, plus the nose coming from the air conditioning was also disturbing.
Lovely stay 💕
Really disappointed with my stay
Excellent as always
Rooms a bit run down. Weedy shower, broken bath plug etc. Badly understaffed. Breakfast would have been okay if they had more than a few staff working. Food constantly running out. Tables not set. Not the staff’s fault. Just bad management.
The sofa bed was not made up as requested and when I took it out the protector was stained as was the quilt itself( without cover on)
This is good location near town with extremely friendly and helpful staff. The food is great and the parking is good. However, the car park needs a big tidy-up as it detracts from an otherwise great package. Also, the slow EV charger needs repairing rather than taping over. Sorting a few details here would make a big difference here.
