On arrival in very heavy rain last sunday at 1.45 pm I pulled up outside the front door my wife went in and she was informed in a rather RUDE MANNER BY THE RECEPTIONIST " NO ROOMS AVAILABLE UNTIL 3 PM" We are aware of the checking in time BUT she could have said bring in your bags leave them at reception and ye can go to the bar for a cuppa until your room is ready . Which any decent hotel would say . FIRST IMPRESSIONS REALLY LAST . Other than that everthing was o.k friendly staff in bar [no restaurant ] Food was fine . I WILL NOT RETURN . Thanks sincerely Vincent ONeill.
Josephine was so kind & helpful to us all at a family funeral yesterday, you made all feel so welcome and it didn’t go unnoticed. Thanks again for all your help
Just back from a girly golf trip to Limerick. This is our 3 time to stay and as always fantastic. Mariam the reservations manager was a pleasure to deal with. Nothing was a problem no matter how many times i contacted her to change the arrangements. Thank you for being sooo pleasant and accommodating. The bar and Breakfast staff, girls we just love you. We have always had a great laugh with you. There really isn't words to describe how fantastic the staff are here. Thank you all for a wonderful time.
Had Sunday lunch with a group of friends. Our table of 10 was served by Josephine. She was efficient, friendly, joyful and kept her eye on everything following up as required without prompting. The food was excellent and there certainly was service with a smile.
Me & my sister stayed here for a night which was a Xmas present, from the time we arrived in the door of this absolute gorgeous hotel we were treated as VIP's check in was quick & easy. We had Afternoon Tea booked & this was devine & again the staff that looked after us were super. We had dinner as part of the package & we were given the choice to have it in the bar or go back into the room we had Afternoon Tea. We chose the Bar. The staff in this hotel are what makes the stay so special.....an extra shout out to Josephine who stood out to us, she even came up to us before her shift ended to say goodbye & to enjoy the rest of our evening. We had an issue with the heating in the room & this was promptly sorted for us. We had a beautiful walk around the grounds & we were blessed with the weather to do this. The only down side i would say was we were awoken at around 4am to loud noises which sounded like a washing machine so I can only think we had the wrong room for this. But all the good points out way that small issue. We cannot wait to return. Please pass on our complete gratitude to all the staff that were on shift Saturday 28th March 2026 Noreen & Jessi
The lodges are very spacious and well laid out, with everything you could need. Very comfortable beds. However the showers were very poor. Extremely bad water pressure and you needed to stand nearly up against the wall for what water fell to get you. The silicon was quite mouldy also.
Absolutely fantastic day attending a family wedding. Staff so helpful especially Josephine.
We booked the Castle Oaks for a Birthday Party along with spending a couple of nights there. The whole experience was more than we expected. We stayed in the suite room. The staff are brilliant, very friendly and accommodating. It's a lovely place on the edge of the river Shannon,we took a few walks across the foot bridge while we were there. We had dinner one evening with family and friends and we we're well looked after. I'd also like to give a special thanks to Martina for helping us out in organising the party and to Maggie for being really friendly.
Charming cosy hotel. Staff were brilliant and efficient. The bar food was excellent and the breakfast was freshly cooked to order and delicious. Bedroom was clean and spacious, great decor. Also, great value. I would definitely recommend and we are looking forward to our next visit.
We really enjoyed our stay in the Castle Oaks hotel. All the staff were very helpful and friendly especially Josie. The room was very nice and very clean. The food was also very good. We will be back, thanks to everyone for making our stay so enjoyable.
Apts are very handy especially for a family stay. Comfortable. Easy check in. Staff were helpful
Absolutely fantastic place to stay, clean rooms, serviced daily, excellent food, atmosphere, and in particular the staff, very helpful, friendly, and make your stay a pleasant experience always. 10/10 for me. 15mins from the city makes it a great start point for all the beautiful attractions limerick has to offer.
Extremely welcoming. From Josephine facilitating our pub meal, getting a table that suited, ensuring the rugby was on and generally being a wonderful hostess and Fernando going the extra mile to make sure my bike was safely stored. Maggie in the morning also provided a warm and bright start to the day. Thanks all.
Had dinner on Friday the meal was very good and the staff were very helpful and professional. Fernando was very friendly and professional and what can I say about the lovely Josephine a great asset to the hotel. Will definitely return.
Nice hotel though it was a bit dated decor wise.We went on a deal with dinner and breakfast included.Dinner a bit disappointing with only two choices and one course included.Weve got the same deal in other hotels with 4 course meal for the same price.Breakfast was good nice friendly staff.Overall nice stay .
Its an excellent experience, nice apartment, nice supportive staff.
Stayed in one of the garden lodges. It was ideal for friends catching up. Very clean and user friendly. Value was great for our needs. Service was excellent and Maggie went above and beyond to accommodate us at meal times. She was super friendly and welcoming.
It was very quiete around the place. The staff were friendly and Lunch was lovely. The room was great.
Lovely spot. 2nd stay. Brought our small dog who was welcomed to stay in the outside suite. Amazing service as always from Josephine
We were weary travelers looking for a last minute start for the late night and happened upon this gorgeous place. The hosts were so incredibly kind and went above and beyond to help us with no notice from us. The grounds were stunning, the food was incredible.
My partner and I stopped in for a meal on a Monday evening to be greeted by a beautiful young lady Stephanie and her Co worker Josephine . We were instantly greeted by smiles and laughter and brought to our table. The food was amazing and the service was even better! It’s so nice to walk into a hotel with a homely and welcoming feeling and we will most definitely be back! Stephanie and Josephine made our visit extra enjoyable!
We had a lovely stay at Castle Oaks at the weekend. Room was lovely and large with Elemis products. Food was delicious and staff were amazing, very attentive and accomodating.
We found the staff very courageous and very helpful Especially the bar staff Josephine and her team
We are only home from another lovely, relaxing weekend in Castle Oaks. The hotel has it all, comfy beds, fab location, lovely walks, the river, delicious food & lovely cosy bar but it's the staff that make the stay here so enjoyable & why we keep coming back. Steph on reception is so welcoming, chatty & helpful, Maggie is brilliant at welcoming everyone to breakfast & making sure everyone is fed & Josie is so friendly & on the ball making sure everyone is fed & watered in the bar. They work so hard but do it effortlessly. Looking forward to booking our next stay soon
We had a fantastic stay here in the Castle Oaks Hotel. We stayed in the apartments which were just fab, clean, modern and lovely view of the garden out the back. The whole stay was very relaxed and it's the staff that made it. Big shout out to the following..Stephanie was very welcoming to us at reception and very helpful. The staff in the restaurant were great especially Josephine(restaurant for evening meal) and Maggie (breakfast) were fantastic, great fun, smiles all round, very accommodating. Pool is always a winner with the kids, lovely river walk into town and the arena sports complex was 15min drive away. Would highly recommend
We stayed at the Castle Oaks in February 2026. It was mid week so it wasn’t very busy, perfect for relaxing. We arrived late in the evening and were checked in by a very friendly and helpful receptionist who couldn’t have been nicer. We went to our room, it was a lovely big room and everything looked fresh and clean. We went down to the bar and had a drink, the bar is big and very comfortable. There’s a good range of drinks on offer. No rush, as the night porter attends to the bar after normal closing hours, so you could stay there all night if you wanted to (we didn’t). On returning to our room it was nice and warm, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a stand-alone bath tub. In the morning went down for breakfast, it was top class, really good and plenty of options from the buffet or the kitchen, eat as much as you like. We were served by Maggie, who is an absolute delight. Her manner, friendliness and character make her a huge asset to the hotel. I had the Full Irish and it was delicious. Staying in the hotel gives you full access to the leisure centre, which has a pool.
Myself and 2 friends are currently staying in this Hotel. We have found the Hotel room very reasonable and the staff are great, but when we got our food bill we noticed that our Bottle of wine was 32.00 euro , currently for sale in Tesco for 10.50 thought a 4 star Hotel would offer a better wine selection for this price. Galway person
Had a lovely time, with friends, staying in one of the apartments. Apartments were spacious, new and very clean. Dinner, as a vegetarian, was basic but the lovely Josephine (an asset to the hotel) worked it out for us and made us feel like we were in her home. The house/hotel itself is a beauty, with gorgeous décor and paintings. We'd a lovely walk by the river the next morning. Oh, and the gym is top class - best I've seen in a hotel. All in all a great stay.
I enjoy the warm and friendly atmosphere in the hotel. The staff, especially Maggie, Josephine and Stepahanie are supportive and welcoming. The leisure centre is a bonus, there are lovely walks , it is an excellent location , close to Limerick and yet in a village atmosphere. Great breakfeast and comfortable beds.
Everything was wonderful. In particular Maggie and Josephine made the experience special with their warmth, welcome and enthusiasm. We’ll be back !!
Lovely hotel, very friendly staff. Really attentive. The bedrooms are recently renovated and were lovely and spacious. The bathroom was also very modern with lovely Elemis products. Special mention to Josephine and Maggie, lovely women, who were kind, pleasant and very helpful.
I really enjoyed my satay and Josephine made it so personal. She asked my name and used it throughout my evening. I felt welcome and appreciated. I travel a lot for sport and work and I like being appreciated for my custom. The Castle Oaks is a fantastic place to Stay and the staff and especially Josephine were awesome. Thanks
I had a great experience thanks to Josephine’s excellent service. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome from start to finish. The atmosphere was cosy and relaxing, which made the whole experience even better. On top of that, the food was delicious and beautifully prepared. Definitely a place I’d love to come back to!
We come here all the time…Maggie and Josephine are the kindest friendliest ladies myself and my 90 year old Mom have ever met…they always make us feel so welcome and at home…we also love the food…it’s so tasty….we havnt a bad word to say about the hotel and the staff…Anne
A great stay was bad by a large family group. We stayed 3 night and made use of the restaurant, bar and pool. The food was all very good as well as the service. They go above and beyond to make your stay welcoming and comfortable. The rooms are nice and can't be faulted to my standards anyway. The river is a nice place to take a walk and the village of Castleconnel is a short walk away with small shops and some nice pubs, especially Bradshaw's.
Beautiful hotel withe very friendly and helpful staff. The food was delicious and top notch service.
Banishing the January blues, celebrating a birthday and brandishing the budget wand is a tough juggling act but the Castle Oaks House Hotel seemed an ideal way to achieve all three soirees. We thought it an apt way to harness our hopes of blowing the lethargy of a long winter out of the water. And so it was. A beautiful snapshot in time staccatoed in the midst of our memories. This was our maiden voyage in this establishment. Stephanie, the receptionist greeted us warmly on arrival immediately put us at ease. She informed us of all the excellent facilities available in the hotel ensuring we would have a very pleasurable stay at the cradle of the Shannon. In the depths of winter with a baltic air sweeping down from the North, it felt like we had stumbled upon a type of wonderful Narnia which none of us wanted to leave. From check in to check out we were furnished with the most delightful sustenance that weary voyagers can only dream about. Special mention must go to Stephanie, Maggie and Josephine. They just couldn't do enough for us. This troika of employees who through their Trojan work have woven a formidable axis of attentiveness and congeniality throughout the hotel. Our only complaint was that the journey had to end. We had drank deep from the warm gushy vibes of an enchanting weekend. Now it was time to close the wardrobe, shut the door and journey back to the bosom of Offaly. The Castle Oaks and our next adventure awaits.......
Great stay in an atmospheric building, in a picturesque location on the banks of the Shannon. Lovely room, great breakfast and attentive and friendly staff. Special shout out to the Nenagh twins, Josephine and Maggie. They go out of their way to welcome you and their friendly and helpful nature added to the whole experience. Chris, Wexford.
Lovely food and great service from the twins. Very welcoming and attentive. We were treated twice as well! Will definitely visit again.
Beautiful location! Stephanie was amazing. Had a Nice big smile upon check in 😊
Really lovely country house. Spoilt me for my birthday. Would highly recommend.
We arrived at Castle oaks today. We dined and had drinks in the bar - Josephine has been lovely and very attentive - made We always had a full glass. Gave us recommendations of walks etc in the local area. Food was great too Thank you Claire and Adam
Myself and my Fiancé stayed here to celebrate our engagement and we had the best weekend. They made such a fuss of us by upgrading us to a suite and doing up a plate of desserts in our room. The dinner was excellent, Josephine was an absolute dote always checking on us to make sure everything was ok. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly be back in the future ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I just spent a lovely weekend at the Castle Oaks House Hotel. The staff and service were absolutely AMAZING. Josephine and Maggie were a delight and made my experience so enjoyable. The Castle Oaks House Hotel is the quintessential Irish hospitality experience. Thank you so much for the lovely stay. I will be returning again.
Such a lovely hotel set in a beautiful surrounding. The room was lovely, well stocked, spacious, modern and clean, as was the bathroom. The leisure center was a bonus and again, spotlessly clean. The staff could not have been nicer, especially Josephine who served us food in the bar and Maggie who served us breakfast. A big thank you also to the head chef who was kind enough to make some toasted sandwiches for us. My friend felt the room was a bit to hot but as soon as we mentioned this to Maggie she immediately reported it to the relevant people and returned to let us know she had done so. We would definetly recommend a stay there and we would happily stay there again.
Lovely hotel, great location with amazing staff(especially Joseohine
Had lunch in the bar today sunday the 11th . Food was beautiful great flavour piping hot and well presented. Our waitress Josephine was unbelievable when you here people talk about irish hospitality and friendliness then this lady wrote the book she was absolutely amazing any hotel would be blessed to have Josephine well done and thank you for your service. Gerry .marta and wiktor
we had a lovely new years stay, staff very helpful and friendly, Josephine in bar made us feel at home, Dinner in bar delicious and good value. Pool great and again staff helpful, Our lodge was roomy and had everything we needed. looking forward to a return visit.
We stayed in one of the lodges for my sister's wedding, which was in the hotel. We really enjoyed the experience. Beds were comfy and the lodge was spacious. All of the staff were excellent. A special mention to Josephine and Maggie who looked after our extended family so well. The food was lovely - at breakfast, in the evening in the bar and at the wedding itself. We didn't get a chance to use the pool, but maybe on our next visit!
Best little place in Limerick. Our girl on reception (Stephanie) was just amazing, so helpful and beautiful. She went above and beyond her call of duty to make us comfortable. Cannot fault her.. and as for out Brilliant waiter JAMES!!! So so thoughtful young lad… I had particular dietary requirements and he don’t make me feel at all that I was any trouble.. can’t wait to come again .. will request both mentioned on my next stay. Also…. At breakfast the woman whose name I can’t remember, was amazing also… above and beyond … dark hair woman!! I had a great time!!!
We attended a wedding on 28th in the hotel and stayed over in one of the lodges. Staff very friendly. One of the managers there Patricia Bolton was excellent. Very friendly and super efficient with great eye to detail. Food was very good. Lodges could do with upgrading/revamping. Overall very enjoyable experience
We stayed as a party of 10. We brought our pet dog and stayed in 2 of the lodges and had 2 hotel rooms. We were warmly greeted by all the staff at reception and even had complimentary goodies in our rooms. We loved the christmas atmosphere and cosyness of the hotel. All staff were absoloutley outstandingly helpful and polite. We loved our waitress Josephine im the bar. She was so warm amd friendly. She was so attentive to our large party of 10 and kept us all feeling so well looked after. We will be back! Thanks Clodagh Santonacci
Josephine and James, should launch their own tv show. Needs to be picked up by goggle box rte however, that said.... fantastic staff, great craic, diligient, and nothing is a hassle. 100% recommend staying here for the ambience and coziness of it all! Will be back!
Rooms are very small and not at all what photos look like. Walls are paper thin and can hear everything from the hallways. Old style door locks very flimsy and hard to know if you have the door locked. Another guest walked into our room at one stage when we thought door was locked.
Stephanie went above & beyond for us, she was so helpful and kind. We had a lovely stay and found the staff so pleasant. 10/10
It was a lovely room & perfectly clean . The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice .The service was excellent by lovely bright young waiters.
We had our work Christmas Party in the Castle Oaks. 45 of us sat for a fun packed dining experience, quiz, dancing, craic agus ceol. The staff were so helpful and accommodating throughout. A lovely meal, hot, tasty and timely. The service was seamless and thoughtful. Casino night brought even more fun. Over half of us stayed the night. The rooms were lovely, warm and cosy. The breakfast was very welcome and fulfilling. Everyone enjoyed the party so much. We have made some treasured memories. Thank you all, especially Anna for organising.
Stay here so often, amazing service & staff, especially Stephanie, you couldn’t want or need with Stephanie as your host / reception, an amazing asset to have to the team! Also the place is 10/10 for food AND drinks, feels so welcoming
There are some nice touches in this hotel. For instance a free scone, jam and cream with tea and coffee on check in. The room was very comfortable and reasonably priced at €110 for a Sunday night B&B. The dinner was good and the waiter very friendly and helpful. One suggestion I have to make it easy for a group of ten is to offer a dinner B&B rate as an alternative to a B&B rate as it means that afterwards only the drink bill needs to be sorted.I didn't use the Leisure Centre. The staff are all very friendly.
I stayed in a very spacious room, which was very relaxing after a day of Christmas shopping in Limerick city. It's quite convenient for motorway access and good value for money. The Christmas decorations added to the festive season. It was quiet the night I stayed there so had a good sleep and a lovely breakfast the following morning.
We stayed at this hotel for two nights in early December. The hotel is old fashioned with a long stairway up to the rooms which was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The room itself was modern with in room tea/coffee facilities, hairdryer, iron & ironing board. Cleaning staff replenish tea, coffee, towels etc daily. We had breakfast on 2 mornings in the hotel. There's a buffet breakfast with cereals, fruit, pastries. You can also order from the menu. Had dinner here one night. All the food was lovely. We used the gym & pool one day. The gym is large. Bring your own swimming hat or you'll be charged €3 for one. Also bring a euro for the lockers. All of the staff were chatty, friendly and helpful. The hotel is located approximately 15minutes by car from the city.
Beautiful stay in a historic 18th-century Georgian manor house, with a delicious dinner in the Island Bar. Checking in with Stephanie could not have been better; remembered me from a brief previous visit and welcomed me back with a smile and genuine interest. Such a lovely, professional and genuine lady with a warm and caring personality! A huge asset to any team! Also a shout out to the very friendly duty manager who looked after us in the bar. Room was lovely, comfortable, warm and quiet. Looking forward to a return visit.
We were there as guests on the wedding of Amy & Mahon. Everything was perfect, food and the accommodation in the Lodges. Great festive atmosphere. The lodge itself was comfortable and clean. It was my first visit and hopefully not my last. I would highly recommend it.
As with other times that the family has gathered there, the atmosphere and welcoming was lovely! The casino night was a lot of fun! Food was delicious both at the dinner and breakfast the following morning. We stayed in one of the apartments which was perfect. To say we got great value for money is an understatement. I would definitely recommend it!
Lovely hotel. Wonderful staff who went the extra mile every time we asked for anything, especially Maggie ant breakfast and Alex at dinner.
We had a beautiful stay at the Castle Oaks House Hotel. It is a fabulous place to stay with very friendly staff and is very reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.
I recently stayed in your hotels as part of a group of four. We had a great experience and have to compliment your staff who were so friendly and helpful, not to mention the food which was of a very high standard .
We stayed at Castle Oaks House Hotel for 5 days and 4 nights, and it was such a wonderful experience! We stayed in one of the lodge houses-spacious parking, two clean and comfortable bedrooms, and a peaceful environment. We loved walking along the River Shannon in the cool November air. Breakfast was tasty with good menu choices, and the coffee was just perfect! The staff were super friendly, special thanks to Dalma, Megan, and Sherna for their warm hospitality and great stories about Ireland. It was our first visit to Limerick, and they made it unforgettable. Highly recommended for families visiting Limerick! We’d love to come back again. 💚
Fantastic staff made for a lovely stay here. From communicating with reception before my stay and throughout, staff went above and beyond to make me comfortable. Stephanie on reception was particularly helpful and accommodating. She was approachable and really friendly. I'd be more than happy to stay there again.
Fabulous Hotel -staff on reception so welcoming. Hotel beautiful old Manor House. Food Fabulous & amazing staff especially Josephine who went above & beyond & made us feel so welcome. 100% will be back
Absolutely amazing experience. Hotel was so comfortable and so festive! They catered to every need! Special mention to Stephanie and Kate, the most accommodating members of staff I’ve ever come across in any hotel. They couldn’t have done enough! To have front of staff with the same manner as theirs, is a huge benefit to any organisation. Will definitely be back!
Had a lovely meal but Josephine our waitress was just exceptional, so friendly and professional ……nice service always makes a huge difference
We were well looked after from the moment we steped into the hotel. From the receptionist to the cleaning team, all were very abliging. Special thanks to Josephine our waitress/bar person who was so helpful and professional.
Josephine served us a lovely lunch. She was very attentive and very kind. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. We really enjoyed our lunch. We certainly will be returning. Thank you Josephine for your warm and genuine hospitality.
Fabulous big room overlooking gardens leisure centre perfect loved pool food delicious not a sound at night very peaceful place
My 3 friends and I had a lovely girlie night away to celebrate a birthday, from the time we arrived there was lovely happy birthday dessert in our room, our room was beautiful, so comfortable & clean! We dined in the hotel restaurant where we met the lovely Josephine who get us great recommendations for dinner chose swap seen as one of us was coeliac, it was delish. She was so accommodating and kept us entertained the whole time. We had the pleasure of meeting her twin Maggie the following morning at breakfast, another fab lady. The staff in the hotel were so lovely, they couldn’t do enough for us. The hotel is such a lovely hidden gem, lovely & quaint decor, stunning surrounds, fab pool/leisure centre & the best staff! We’ll definitely be back.
Recently spent a most enjoyable midweek break at Castle Oaks House hotel. Location was ideal, just 7 miles from Limerick. Our room was perfect, very clean , very very comfy beds. The hotel had a welcoming relaxed atmosphere which we loved. Food was great. Above all the staff are the Gem of this hotel. All lovely , friendly helpful people, cheerfully and effortlessly attending to all our needs. All this at a very reasonable price. I would highly recommend this hotel. Jane
The hotel was great, great breakfast choices, convenient location. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful
The staff were so friendly especially Maggie and Josie. The hotel was homely and so peaceful. Close to Limerick and nice walks in the area. Easy to find hotel. Hotel was clean. The room was comfortable and bed was comfortable. It was great value, we got the dine and stay deal.
Wonderful old world country hotel, with all modern conveniences, on the banks of the Shannon, and still only a short distance to Limerick City. Staff, food, room etc excellent !
I visited the bar today with my mom, and honestly, no words can describe the service we received from Josephine. She is the loveliest woman ever — so kind, genuine, and full of warmth that we honestly wanted to bring her home with us! Josephine completely made our day and will 100% be the reason we return. She deserves every bit of recognition and all the perks in the world — she’s just that fab! The food was also fantastic (highly recommend!), but it was Josephine’s energy and charm that truly made the experience unforgettable. Pure Irish hospitality, she even had the cup warm for our tea!
Really beautiful and traditional irish hotel, some of us are staying in the lodge houses and some in the hotel and everything is clean and lovely ! Would be an amazing place for a wedding with beautiful surroundings. We decided to have a drink and dinner at the bar out of convenience, but we were amazed by our experience, Josephine treated us like royalty, she tended to all our needs, and made us feel so welcome and really made our stay special. She gave us great recommandations and even remembered our names! Great food and great Guinness ! She went above and beyond and we couldn't have asked for anything better. We look forward to coming back when we are in the area and bringing friends and family too! Looking forward to our next visit!
I spent two nights in your hotel, The Staff are amazing, helpful, friendly and hard working especially the 2 ladies that are sisters. The made the breakfast experience really enjoyable and then the sister that works in the evening doing the bar and bar food was just as good. I know if I owned a business that is the staff I would be looking for
We enjoyed our overnight stay in Castleoaks hotel. A warm welcome, decent food and a cosy bar in pleasant surroundings.
Staff very friendly food was lovely breakfast was exceptional room spotless and atmosphere in hotel was very friendly and relaxing
The castle oaks is a lovely comfortable old worldly experience of a hotel . Clean ,welcoming, friendly staff who couldn't do enough for me and my friend when we arrived on the Friday evening to spend a night celebrating my best friends graduation day. We we're greeted by a lovely lady receptionist at 4pm and it was alive with guests attending a wedding. However we were somewhat disappointed to be told that the leisure centre was closed for repairs . Now that was no problem but I would have liked to have received a prior email to our arrival to advise us of the situation as we made our journey early to make use of the facilities. After returning down to dinner in the bar we were advised that we could have a late check out next day for the inconvenience of no leisure facilities or we could use the sister hotel 10 minutes away if we desired We had a lovely meal &the lovely waitress Josephine made our nite there was no end to her kindness and care we recieved. The rooms are immaculate and spacious and the breakfast 💯 per cent .The waitresses next morning were so nice and helpful..thumbs up to them also. We will return but a heads up regarding the leisure facilities would have been useful .
Everything was perfect..the room was lovely with a nice new bathroom..the staff were lovely the girl on reception and the 2 sisters maggie and Josephine working in the restaurant..food in the bar was very good and so was breakfast..will definitely return..
Brilliant place to stay Stephanie is the best receptionist helpful all the time and willing to go the extra mile looked after us all
V short overnight stay - Arrival efficient and friendly Stephanie very thoughtful re early breakfast to take away Dinner one of best meals ever enjoyed. Serving staff probably the most obliging ever encountered. Room large clean comfortable - pillows and bed very comfortable. Slept great! Will return
Staff were lovely, room was clean and welcoming. Parking was good. Interior of the hotel is very dated in places
Thourghly enjoyed my visit. Would loved to have access to real coffee (not instant) in room or lobby
We had a fabulous stay at the Castle Oaks hotel. All the staff are lovely, however, Stephanie's professionalism and very warm welcome was what made our stay even better. She went above and beyond and very friendly. Our room was very nice, large and clean. It was very comfortable and breakfast we lovely too. The grounds are gorgeous. Thank you Stephanie for the warm welcome, it was just what I needed :)
I stay in the Castle Oaks when in Limerick for work. Always receive a fantastic welcome from everyone, especially Stephanie on reception. She is always up for a laugh and good ol chat after a long & busy day.
i booked a stay here for me and my wife to enjoy a swim and chill after work but when i got there the hotel informed me the pool was closed if i had know this before i wouldn't have stayed there the food was nice the the breakfast was beautiful the twins that work there are delightful servers also the first room we got had no shower pressure but the receptionist changed our room very quickly
We were in Castle Oaks for the 55th anniversary of our grandparents. Our rooms were very beautiful and cosy, and fitted all of our family. Every facility was well taken care of, everything we used was clean. We spent our evenings eating together and had a lovely staff member Josephine making sure everyone was satisfied with their night. We were very pleased with Josephine’s efforts, she is very friendly. In the mornings at breakfast, we also had another lovely staff member checking on us named Maggie. Maggie made sure everyone had breakfast and tea/coffee, and if anyone needed anything else, she showed great enthusiasm to help. Overall, we had a fantastic weekend in Castle Oaks. Thank you for accommodating us. Juliet
We had an extended family weekend break in the Castle Oaks and I can't talk highly enough of our experience. Mariam in reservations was helpful & professional from our first interaction and made sure to meet me & show me around when we arrived. We had dinner in the bar Fri night and the restaurant Saturday night and the food in both locations was delicious - our party had a variety of dishes and everyone was very pleased with the quality, serving size & taste. The rooms were sizeable & spotless. Finally, all the staff we met were friendly & welcoming but a particular shout out to Mags & Josephine (not the same person!). Both of them couldn't do enough for you, always checking in to see you had enough or needed anything and both of them were the most lovely ladies to have the chats with - a credit to the hotel! We had a great time and are already looking forward to returning in the future. Thoroughly recommend!
