The breakfast was lovely with lots of choice . The overall experience was amazing. We will definitely stay here when we travel to Marbella again .

La struttura elegante in posizione centralissima, camere molto confortevoli, bagno spettacolo, ottima colazione e bella accoglienza e supporto dalla simpatica Romina, ragazza pugliese doc, che con molta gentilezza e professionalità mi ha dato tutto il supporto possibile.

Nulla, mi è piaciuto tutto. La struttura non dispone di parcheggio interno ma è convenzionata con una parcheggio multipiano poco distante di cui forniscono un comodo pass per entrare e uscire a proprio piacimento.

Excellent modern hotel in a great location Óbal Hotel Marbella is a fantastic modern hotel in an excellent location, right in the heart of Marbella. The hotel is stylish, contemporary and very well maintained. The staff throughout the hotel were excellent = friendly, professional and always helpful. Breakfast was great, with a very good choice of options, and the facilities were also excellent. Overall, a really enjoyable stay and a hotel I would happily recommend.

Great central location to old town, newly renovated rooms which are spacious and clean. Staff were nice.

Arrived and immediately walked into the elevator to stand in a pool of vomit! No one had put up a sign to say it was being cleaned and not to enter, so I was trapped for five floors waiting to exit while standing in vomit… Gym is tiny but well equipped.

Abbiamo ritenuto eccezionali la maggior parte delle caratteristiche della stanza, in particolare l’arredamento, La dimensione e l’igiene. Inoltre la posizione molto favorevole ci ha concesso di vivere a pieno il cuore pulsante della città stando comunque nei pressi delle spiagge e della promenade. Infine c’è da lodare anche il personale, che si è rivelato cortese e disponibile, garantendoci un soggiorno sereno. Nel complesso si può dire che si tratti della migliore scelta per alloggiare a Marbella, vivendola comodamente.

The Hotel was clean and location was perfect.

I was really disappointed with the pool situation. On the fifth floor, there were very few sunbeds, and many guests would leave their towels early in the morning to “reserve” them, then disappear and only return in the afternoon. This made it almost impossible to find a place. I specifically booked this hotel because of the pool, as I’m traveling with my 5-month-old baby and wanted a calm, convenient place to relax. Unfortunately, during our 6-day stay, I managed to get a spot by the pool only once. Going to the beach wasn’t a good alternative for us, as it was too stressful with a baby. I would strongly suggest the hotel consider reserving some pool Sunbeds for families, as I’m sure we’re not the only ones who faced this issue.

The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel was clean, well maintained and in a great location, which made it very convenient for getting around.

The main issue was the bed. We stayed for eight nights and found the mattress very uncomfortable and poor quality, which caused pain in our shoulders and backs. We asked for a mattress topper, but unfortunately they were all in use and we couldn’t get one for five nights. Considering we paid over €2,000 for the stay, we would have expected a much better standard of mattress. It was disappointing as the bed had a real impact on our comfort and sleep during the trip.

Sehr zentrale Lage zum Strand und zur Altstadt. Besuch des Wochenmarktes am Donnerstag in San Pedro ist ein Besuch wert. Die Food-Meile zum Strand hin (zB Taco-Laden) ist empfehlenswert, da preiswert.

10/10 definitely one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at in Europe. Everyone was so friendly and me and my best friend instantly felt relaxed from the second we arrived.

I wish the pool was open earlier

Just checked out of the Obal where we stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is clean and modern and the aircon is incredible. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and spacious but the balcony is pointless as the view is of a neighbouring building. The hotel breakfast is fresh and plenty of variety. The hotel location is amazing; so close to the beach and right in the middle of old town. The only downside to the hotel is the pool area. There are very few sun loungers and the pool is very small. We only managed to get a lounger on one of our days and our hope of relaxing and sunbathing was disturbed by children jumping in and out of the pool. Due to how small the pool area is, every jump resulted in us getting splashed. lol. Overall a lovely stay in a perfectly located hotel.

Lo que no nos gustó fue que teníamos media pensión y cambiamos dos cenas por dos comidas y nos cobraron las bebidas de la cena siendo que en la comida no las cobran ,ilógico bajo nuestra experiencia

Rooms are pretty and modern, however they fill the fridge and there’s no space to put your own stuff in. Location is good, right by the old town, but at night it can be very loud when trying to sleep. One night there was work being done and it was hard to sleep due to this. The staff at the reception are amazing. however the ones by the pool are not so polite. You get charged a €100 euro deposit too which we were not informed about before arrival. The hotel also smells of horrible sewage drains and is masked over by a strong air freshener but I can’t help but smell the foul smell all over the hotel even by the pool.

The hotel was very comfortable with spacious rooms and a lovely bathroom. The breakfast was super with great choice. The rooftop bar was lovely in the evening and the pool area was lovely during the day. The gym was small but it was perfect for what I needed. The staff were exceptional. The staff at reception, the breakfast area and rooftop area couldn’t have been nicer. Finally the location could not have been better. Around the corner from the oldtown and we could see the sea from our bedroom. I would definitely stay here again.

Hôtel bien situé les plages sont à 5min à pied, l'hôtel est situé au début de la vieille ville piétonne de Marbella. La chambre que nous avions était spacieuse avec une grande terrasse et propre. Le petit déjeuner est fantastique il y en a pour tout les goûts. Tout le personnel est attentif et très gentil. La piscine situé sur le rooftop est petite. Lors de mes prochaines vacances à Marbella, j'y retourne sans hésitation vraiment très bien.

Hissarna var väldigt långsamma och det tog lång tid när vi använde oss av hissen. Det var också stopp i handfatet när vi kom men det fixades direkt.

Location ideal for the Old Town, distance to beach, restaurants etc. Lovely clean hotel, really super friendly and helpful staff. Lovely room and could not fault choice at breakfast. Clean towels daily, including for the pool and beach. Good availability of sun beds, with staff not holding them for people who had left. All perfect.

In the on line photographs we were expecting a larger pool where we could have a swim and cool down.

Location is brilliant for restaurants, shops and the beach. Beautifully clean hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was a problem for them. Breakfast food was good. Good selection of foods and beverages. Dip pool was lovely and clean. Pool bar made very good cocktails. Can’t fault this place. When we had our flight cancelled by our airline and needed a room for another night for four of us, staff at this hotel remained calm (which helped to calm us) and accommodated us for another night. They were very kind and understanding of our situation which made a stressful situation so much more manageable.

Staff we dealt with for check in/ check out and around the hotel were all lovely. The decor is beautiful, the fragrant scents around the hotel is really nice. The place feels classy and luxurious but not pretentious, comfortable chilled vibes. The rooftop pool was fabulous and staff so nice. Marcus and the female manager were both lovely. Also liked the gym, small but perfect for my use , equipment seemed new and well maintained

Very small thing to pick on but the shower trays I found incredibly slippy so from a safety perspective might be worth looking at. It would be nice if toiletries included some hair conditioner.

Very nice hotel, great location. Room was small but OK although the price was high but its summer in Marbella so to be expected. Breakfast was OK, nothing special like the breakfast at The Amare just down the road. I prefer a chef to make fresh eggs to order in the morning not ones that have been sat there for a while. Nice roof top pool with limited loungers, annoying that it didn't open until 11.00am each day and if you weren't there by 11.05am you didn't get a sunlounger but they are limited for space. I would stay again but not at summer prices.

It was perfect…

I stayed here as a single traveller with a complex disability. From the go, nothing was too much trouble for all staff to help me (all with a smile). They even changed glasses and cups to plastic (I break things) and the restaurant, reception and bar staff were fantastic, putting me at ease immediately. It was they were "tuned in" to what I needed. My room was modern and immaculate with everything at the right level. The walk-in shower had plenty of room. The roof-top solarium was the perfect place to unwind after a day's exploring, with delicious food and a well-stocked bar. In general, I can't recommend it enough! Fantastic, and thank you!

El trato del personal tanto recepción como el ruftoop. Es el segundo año que estamos alojados en este hotel, todo muy sencillo pero ameno.

Se podría mejorar el ruftoop con ventiladores o aspersores porque hace muchisima calor y el agua de la piscina esta muy caliente al ser pequeña.

Fabulous 4 Star Hotel, new, very well finished close to everything in 5 mins. Great AC, Great Staff and great experience and lady at reception with glasses was top class. David, Galway, Ireland.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was very clean, the location was excellent, and everything was comfortable. A special thanks to Sara, who was incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful throughout my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

The pool is quite small and only 0.70 meters deep. Moreover, it is only open between 11.00 and 17.00. The same goes for the gym which is also very small
