Sehr schönes und ruhiges Hotel in landschaftlich schöner Lage mit tollem Ausblick und Pool. Zimmer groß und sehr sauber (Deluxe Doppelzimmer mit Terrasse). Sehr gutes Restaurant. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Insgesamt alles positiv.

While my stay at the hotel had its positives, there were a couple of drawbacks worth noting. First, the language barrier was a significant issue. The staff spoke very poor English, which made communication difficult for basic requests and information. A higher level of English proficiency among the team would have made the stay much smoother and more comfortable. Additionally, the hotel entrance has a poorly designed bump that caused damage to the floor of our car. This was an expensive and frustrating surprise, and I would strongly recommend the hotel to install a warning sign or redesign the ramp to prevent this from happening to other guests. Lastly, the sauna schedule was inconvenient. It is closed for two hours during lunchtime, but on our visit, it wasn't even switched on before the closing time, meaning we couldn't use it at all during that window. More consistent operating hours and better communication would greatly improve this facility.

Should have provided daily water in rooms and some of the soft drinks prices were outrageous - €8 for a coke!

A truly beautiful property with two swimming pools, one large pool inside and a stunning pool outside. Very interesting sculptures throughout the property. Good quality bed and bedding. Superb breakfast, lovely afternoon tea, great staff.

Out of two dinners we had, one was lovely but the choices were very limited. The quality of the other dinner was marginal.

Everything, large room, beautiful property, grounds and views, massive outside pool with bar service, great staff! The hotel is about a 10 minute drives from gordes and walkable (15sh minutes), however there’s a short walk on the main road.

Un séjour fantastique d'une semaine dans le calme absolu, avec un service réellement à l'écoute, une piscine de toute beauté, la chambre dotée d'un lit king size et d'un balcon sur le Lubéron. La seule chose que nous avons regrettée c'est que le restaurant, par ailleurs délicieux et subtile en tant que cuisine, ne propose pas de changements de menu; ce qui pour une durée d'une semaine est un peu dommage. Le SPA à lui tout seul est une merveille de bien-être et propose de nombreuses activités

Les menus du restaurant devraient être plus variés , nous avons gouté tous les fantastiques plats, créatifs et délicieux mais chaque jour le même menu à midi et le soir!

The only thing wasn’t great was that you had to pay extra for the spa facilities which I think when you’re staying in a spa hotel it should be included.

The pool and the room were nice.

The restaurant is clearly not operating fully meaning that we were told there was no table for us any night we were there and we had to have room service instead which was absolutely terrible for the very expensive price attached. The meat was poor quality and sides mentioned on the menu were not provided. Food arrived cold and poorly cooked. We walked to the town the next night where we had a gorgeous dinner, however, this is a 20-25 minute walk with rough paths and hills. The hotel would not book us a taxi there or back after telling us on arrival that they could. Luckily we got an Uber, however, this is very rare in this area with few taxis operating. Staff in the hotel knocked on our door 2-3 times per day with little reason (handing us L’Occitane tissues?) and trying to get us to order breakfast to our room. We came home from dinner one evening to find that someone had been in our room unannounced and left a large bathroom window open. This felt very invasive and unsafe. On check out, a €50 breakfast charge that we did not avail of was on the bill so be sure to check your itemized bill.

Les chambres standard sont isolées du bâtiment principal où se trouvent le spa les halls et salles de jeux de piano au décors artistiques et avec les accès aux extérieurs. Même si ces chambres restent de très haute qualité, l’accès se fait derrière l’hôtel devant le parking, devant une ère de stockage et de livraison et en passant par les locaux techniques du personnel où ils prennent leur pauses on se sent à l’écart de l’hôtel et de ses parties communes luxueuses. Impossible de sortir en chaussons. Je déconseille ces chambres qui restent à des tarifs d’un 5 étoiles mais où l’expérience est inférieure à celle des chambres de plus haut standing. Nous avons préféré sortir prendre un petit déjeuner en ville plutôt que dans l’hôtel car on se sent à l’écart.

Restaurant excessivement cher pour une qualité déplorable. Ce point seul gâche vraiment l’expérience. Les plats sont fades, tous les prix ne sont pas affichés, par défaut l’addition fournie n’est pas détaillée.

Séjour très agréable et dépaysant. Le personnel est au petit soin et à l’écoute. Le spa est largement suffisant.

Le personnel très à l'écoute et très professionnel, le petit déjeuner parfais. La chambre spacieuse et le lit de très bonne qualité. La décoration soignée de tout l'établissement.

Le bruit de la VMC, la finition de la salle de bain pas au niveau du prix de la chambre. Les olives servies au restaurant en apéro pourries dans leur bocal. L'hôtel n'est pas à Gordes mais un peu plus loin et donc pas la vue de Gordes dommage ...

This is a beautiful property although not really walking distance from the town. It is set in a large garden with a large pool and lots of trees. Our suite was large and contemporary and very comfortable but we did have a few problems that we don’t expect in a five star resort hotel and member of the Small Luxury Collection. The biggest problem was in the otherwise great bathroom as it had a good size window that looked over the pool, but the there were no window coverings whatsoever so everyone outside could see straight in. When we told reception they actually seemed put out that we would complain about this and said that nobody has before. Unless they were nudists this is impossible. In any case they sent two men who applied an opaque film which solved the problem. When we tried to use the safe we found it was broken but it was replaced with another. That evening we heard a very loud sound of water coming from right outside the bedroom, which we thought was a broken pipe so we head to call reception for the third time. The young lady who came said it was from the air conditioner outside and she switched it off, but the next day it came back. We think it was actually someone running the bath or shower in the adjacent room. These are all issues that should not happen in a 5 star resort.

Situated high on a hill in the Luberon just outside of Gordes, it’s made of the ochre stone blocks the region is known for. The landscaping and sprinkling of sculptures around the beautifully manicured grounds is so lovely. We had a room with a balcony so we could watch the sky turn pink at sunset. The staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast on the patio was excellent- it’s a buffet and I especially enjoyed the wide range of cheeses offered. Dinner was delicious and not outrageously expensive. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The pool area is gorgeous! There are actually 2 pools, one indoor and the other outdoor. I didn’t get to try the spa but it looked very nice.

At breakfast, I asked one of the waiters for some still water. He told me that I can pick it up from the buffet. This should not be the answer at all SLH class hotel service mind set.

This hotel is definitely dated. The rooms are huge but the separate WC from the main bathroom, etc. is weird. Remodeling would be a nice transformation for this place because it has an excellent location. The buffet breakfast for 25 euros needs an upgrade too… no fresh omelettes or fresh vegetables or fresh anything. Lots of breads, I dont know if there are any better options for lodging in Gordes but if I could lower my expectations (and price) from a 5-star to a 4-star or even 3-star, I think this hotel would get better ratings.

Le site au milieu de la nature est incroyable, les criquets les oliviers, les lavandes... tout y est. Les bâtiments en pierre ancienne ont un charme fou. Le personnel était aux petits soins, de manière agréable et simple. La vraie classe!

Petit couac sur le changement des serviettes le 2eme soir de notre séjour. Seul les tapis de sol ont été changé alors que d’autres serviettes avaient été déposées dans la baignoire. Nous avons appelé l’accueil vers 22h pour nous apporter de nouvelles serviettes. Ils sont arrivés plus de 30’ après l’appel alors qu’il nous avait été indiqué 10’ Pour le reste, tout était parfait

Emplacement de l'hôtel parfait au milieu de champs de lavandes, des oliviers...confort des chambres, équipements de qualité, mobilier dans les espaces communs très confortables, goûter délicieux et petit déjeuner exceptionnel.
