Nice indoor and outdoor pool. Gym was well equipped. Rooms are small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast voucher to the next door restaurant are provided for the breakfast.

Cleanliness. Entry way to building the door was filthy, fingerprints, drips on it. Dirt outside and around entryway. Swamp cooling air conditioner in room was beyond noisy! Control panel on it very hard to get buttons to respond. Shower sealant had mold on it. Hair on the wall in the bathroom.

The friendly front desk staff. And how they were able to accommodate our request for a handicap accessible room.

It was clean, loved the outdoor pool area!! The staff were excellent, would definitely stay again!

I liked that my room was right by the elevator. I liked that it wasn't super busy/crowded. My room was clean.

The elevator smelled like something was burning. The shower head was way to0 high for me to reach to adjust it (I'm 5'3"), and I would have appreciated a handheld shower option).

Great experience for calling to check out as our place in Kremmling was sketch and couldn’t check in or contact anyone. Quick decision to pivot to Steamboat. Robert was great. So attentive and accommodating. Made us feel welcomed and at home.

Robert literally saved the day! We had originally booked a hotel in Kremmling that we had a horrible experience at and Robert took us in like we were family when we arrived. From the delightful conversation on the phone, to the seamless booking experience and Checkin process, this was a great welcoming. We are forever grateful for the service and room we received from Robert and could not be more impressed with this hotel. It’s cozy and clean and to our surprise there was a restaurant and bar with live music. This was exactly what we needed after a long drive from Denver. Thank you!

Robert was amazing and made us feel like VIPS. We had to pivot after our booking at another unkept hotel with zero customer service left us without a place to stay. We are so grateful for a clean place and how welcoming Robert is!

The shitty service ended up paying $1,300 for two rooms when initially should’ve been $1000 two nights two rooms.

Convenient location to hospital. I had testing done. Restaurant food was excellent!

I had paid for breakfast for 2 for each day and was disappointed in food and service. It was about 9am and had to search for someone to seat us, no one was around, very dark inside the restaurant. When seated the silverware was dirty as was the water glasses. Needless to say my other days of paid breakfast were not used.

The only problem we had was the shower wasn’t so warm in the mornings. Otherwise everything was amazing!

Everyone here is so friendly and helpful! Robert checked us in and he even remembered our names when he saw us the next day! Keenan and Pierre and John were also so helpful. The restaurant staff could not have been more accepting of our kids and ensured we all had a great time. AWESOME POOL!!! 10/10 recommend staying here.

The bed bugs and their “no refund”

One of the first things my fiancé does is checks the beds upon arriving in a hotel room as a standard safety precaution. Immediately we saw several bed bugs and hatched eggs on the mattress, took photographic evidence and presented it to the front desk. The hotel refused a refund and said that they “usually call Orkin” which tells me that this is an ongoing issue, and it’s extremely likely that the entire hotel, and all the staff also have these bugs. They spread rapidly!! If all they are doing is moving guests to a new room, then they are continuously helping the spread of bed bug infestation. I would not stay here.

Great location and spacious rooms. Very clean and well appointed. Microwave and coffee in the room. Bathrooms were spacious. The front desk staff, especially Keenan, were tremendously helpful. Would stay again.

Newly renovated rooms, such comfy beds and best of all, every single person I interacted with was so nice! Gaylen was above and beyond nice! Really loved staying here!

We have always liked staying in Holiday Inn Express because of the good free breakfast and always free parking. This holiday inn offers neither. We won’t ever be staying in Steamboat again. Very overpriced, no parking downtown! Too many people!

The reason I didn't rate a 5 was the complimentary coffee was awful and the restaurant option is ridiculous with$20 hamburgers

We were greeted with the nicest man ever. His smile was contagious. He took his time informing us of all the hotel amenities and we felt welcomed and not rushed. The room was nice and clean. Great experience.

We stayed at this hotel for a Stay to Play baseball tournament. They were very accommodating with our team and group of kids. They loved the pool and hanging out in the lobby or “Champagne Room”. We did have to rent out the room but it was worth the cost for our group! Standard rooms were not very spacious but we made due. Must request room cleaning but they were pretty quick. No complimentary breakfast which was a major bummer, but there was a discount at the restaurant. We only ate pizza there one night and ate at the pool area outside. Tried for breakfast but service was extremely slow. Robert at the front desk was by far the best front desk attendant I’ve ever had an experience with!!! He knew me by name immediately after checking in until the day we checked out! Very impressive. Personally, I think the price was a bit steep for the amenities, but we had a great time. It’s about a 7-10 min drive to downtown

Not for from steamboat town which had lots of interesting shops. Had a lovely gentle man on reception couldn't be more helpful. Room had a little patio over looking the mountains. Had a restaurant on site, which we used for breakfast, good size portions.

This was a very friendly atmosphere and Robert at the front seat was very hospitable and friendly. He was very welcoming every time we saw him. Overall the pools and room clean and the gym was full of plenty of workout equipment

Outdoor pool was nice!

It is completely ridiculous to pay for parking when you are 3 miles from downtown Steamboat and there is nothing of value within walking distance!

An absolutly perfect stay Robert, the front desk clerk, did an excellent job thanking me for being a IHG member and treated me as if I were king. Though of course I'm not, he couldn't have been nicer. He checked in and made sure all was good than everytime I walked by he remembered me and addressed me as Jonathan. With good help being hard to find these days he deserves a raise.

(2 nights mid-May 2026) This is a nice and well-run hotel with easy access to nearby walking trails, downtown, the mountain, groceries, the botanical gardens. We've stayed here many times over the decades, but this time was exceptionally nice. The property looks like it was recently updated. And Robert at the Front Desk is wonderful. Believe all the nice things you read about him. He's professional, efficient, listens carefully and yet is ever so nice and accommodating. Robert gave me a quiet room with balcony overlooking the slopes (opposite from the front entrance and highway) and it was perfect. I enjoyed the first night so much I extended my stay! Check-in is simple and quick, ditto checkout. I found the IHG way of doing business so noticeably better than the competition (the usual suspects) that I spent the rest of the three-week trip booking with Holiday Inn IHH when available. Thanks, Robert! Hope to get back to Steamboat again soon.

Stayed here for a night over a weekend. Great value. Room, and hotel are clean. What really makes this place special is the staff. Especially Robert the man at the front desk in the afternoon. He is an amazing host! He made us feel right at home from the second we walked in the door. We travel a lot and have never had an encounter like this before! I had many hotels in Steamboat Springs to choose from but I went with this one because Robert was so friendly from the time I called for information about the hotel right through helping me complete our reservation. Thank you for making this an excellent stay

There was an additional $12/day charge for parking. Maid ignored the "do not disturb" sign and knocked on my door until I answered. I think she wanted me to sign a sheet but didn't have a pen. I can't be sure what she wanted as she didn't speak English. I was sleeping when she knocked and woke me up. I was confused. This really bothered me. The next day, they did not clean. I did not hang the "do not disturb" sign. Lastly, there was a dead roach outside my door for two days.

Great experience for my birthday weekend in Steamboat. Indoor and Outdoor pool, Hot Tub and an actually decent weight room were great additions. Great Views! The Harison Restaurant breakfast options were quality as well! Will definitely be back for future trips

This is an older Holiday Inn that still has some really interesting aspects. I want a single out the front desk guy, Robert. He was awesome FUNNY warm and and a huge positive. Any hotel would be lucky to have him. Harrison’s the restaurant at the hotel was also cool!

Robert was exceptional, he brought a box to my room that I couldn’t carry in one trip without me asking him and was very considerate, telling me whatever I need to let him know. Honestly never met such a nice person in general not even just at hotels.

Robert at the front desk offered great service. Harrison's was delicious for dinner. Although they were out of the mussels app, the chef made a special off-the-menu shrimp app for me that was amazing. Overall an excellent stay!

This was the perfect place to begin our hot springs hopping adventure through Colorado. Location is peaceful but convenient, room was super clean and comfortable, parking is easy and close to your rooms and staff treats you like family ! Could not have been nicer. Would highly recommend and hope to return!

Comfortable and quiet hotel in a great location. Always good hot coffee available for free in the lobby, which I appreciate. The ice machines always work. There is a restaurant available if you need it. The staff are always very nice and there is a super cute dog sometimes during the day. I travel to Steamboat about every 5 weeks or so for work, and this is my go-to spot.

Robert did a great job and was very friendly!

Bed was comfortable and clean. I liked that I could open the window to get fresh air while sleeping.

WIFI was very poor in the room. No lights switches by bed to control lights. Shower door kept slinding open during shower. Sink was partially clogged and the water drained slowly.

As always, everything was perfect! Chris took care of us at the front desk and Maddie and Anton took good care of us in the restaurant and bar. All of the staff are great and the rooms are very clean and comfortable! We'll be back up there again soon!

This hotel is neat and VERY CLEAN!! The staff were friendly and very professional. The Holiday Inn is convenient and close to downtown. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Steanboat. Wonderful experience!!

Had a great experience this past weekend! The location is great, and the room and bedding were comfortable. We had one issue, and Piero at Reception stepped up with amazing customer service and made it all better. The food is fantastic as well - we ate dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, and Maddie was exceptionally friendly and provided excellent service. We’ll be back!

The whole stay was really pleasant. The room was nice with a good bed. We ate breakfast at Harrison’s downstairs every morning which was great. The shuttle to the slopes was convenient, and it’s already really close to the mountain. Will definitely be back for another ski trip.

I had a wonderful stay. The entire team was welcoming, but a special shout-out goes to Robert and Brian. They were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to be helpful throughout my visit. It’s rare to find such attentive service.

The hotel is clean, well run and within 2 miles of the entrance to the ski area. They have a shuttle that takes you to and from the ski area. They have a hot tub and pool, perfect for rejuvenation after skiing. All employees were friendly and helpful and a Shout out to Robert on the front desk for his attentiveness.

Located next door to a bus stop, so it was convenient. The hotel also provided a reliable shuttle to the ski area. Rooms were clean and we could get fresh towels whenever we needed them. There was a nice outdoor hot tub as well as an indoor pool and hot tub. Friendly and responsive staff.

Everything was perfect expect when it came down to breakfast we got up early to be the first ones and be able to get a table which we were able too but then some lady that worked there moved us because there wasn’t gonna be room for other people??? Made me feel weird like if it was meant like in a racist way since they only asked us to move and not other people…

Location is right by the ski mountai , with frequent free shuttles offering pick up & drop off! Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating and made us feel very much at home. Great spot to stay in Steamboat!

This hotel is a bit dated but with lots of soul past the new and improved version of holiday inn on the same road. Make sure you book right one. Reception staff is very friendly and effective. The hotel has its own bar/restaurant. It’s ok for evening drinks and bar fare but not dinner. Breakfast is ok but depends on staffing. Shuttle to base sure a big feature.

The staff at this hotel was outstanding, especially the manager Chris, Robert, Romeo, The shuttle drivers were great too. Garrett and Piero went out of their way to pick us up as soon as possible and take us to the mountain and were able to answer our many questions. The cleaning staff was efficient and friendly too. They all took care of all our needs. We were a ski club and had many issues but they took care of us in every way and went above and beyond!

Hotel staff was very helpful and we loved having a dog to greet us every day (better than a chocolate chip cookie). The rooms were clean and comfortable. Garrett and Piero were very accommodating shuttle drivers. The Internet and cellular reception was terrible in our room. The restaurant service at breakfast was so slow that we never went back.

Convenient location. Free shuttle to ski base area at Steamboat Springs. Courteous and Friendly. PIERO was an excellent shuttle driver, helped us load and unload our skis and was prompt in response to requests for shuttle.

Went on a ski club trip and initially wasn't thrilled to be staying so far from the mountain but wow, this place really nailed it. Hotel staff were the friendliest I've ever encountered and the shuttle driver Piero went above and beyond, so helpful! The city bus after hours was conveniently located too.

We ended up at the Steamboat Holiday Inn because of a cancelled flight and used our IHG points to stay. Showed up in the morning with a family of four and lots of bags and ski stuff. Chris at the front desk was incredibly helpful. Stored our bags, got us early check in, and generally made us feel welcome. All of the staff were great in general during our stay. The shuttle to the mountain is great and you can get free bus rides from there into town. Rooms were clean and spacious. The restaurant Harrigan's located at the hotel wasn't the best and breakfast service was really slow but at least they have a food on location. I would stay here again when I was in Steamboat including to ski the mountain.

Super convenient location with clean updated rooms. Staff are all really friendly. So easy to get to and from the ski gondola with private on call shuttle.

It was pricey but it snowed that weekend so it was expected. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and looked modern, the bed was very comfortable. They have outdoor and indoor pools!

The staff at this hotel are always kind and overly helpful. We’ve returned 6 years in a row because of them. They’ve gone out of their way time and time again to make our stay great & to be super helpful. Everything is clean, the rooms are newer and nice and the shuttle to the mountain is clutch. Tammy and Robert stand out as all stars staff!
