Reviewed Jul 29, 2026I left a day early. No soap in dispenser, safe didn’t work and water was too hot or too cold flashing back and forth in the shower. I mentioned these to the receptionist that worked the on shift and he said he would have management call me the following day but they never did. Very upsetting

Reviewed Jun 9, 2026I'll start by saying this is the first hotel review I've ever written, so that alone should tell you something. We were in Ensenada for the Baja 500 and couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The hotel is located just a couple of blocks from the main stage, making it easy to walk to all the festivities without dealing with traffic or parking headaches. One of the biggest perks for us was the secure courtyard parking. You won't be fitting your race hauler or trailer in there, but if you're driving a chase Jeep, F-150, or similar-sized vehicle, you're good to go. Having a safe place to park overnight gave us great peace of mind. The staff was fantastic. Check-in took all of about three minutes, and everyone we encountered was friendly and welcoming. The room was spotless. And here's a detail that deserves recognition: it was actually clean, not "we used an entire gallon of Fabuloso and now your eyes are watering" clean. Anyone who's traveled enough knows exactly what I'm talking about! We ate at the restaurant across the street and had an excellent experience. The service was great, the food was outstanding, and we were able to sit outside and enjoy the Baja 500 atmosphere while we ate. We've stayed in plenty of hotels throughout Mexico over the years. Obviously, it's hard to compare anything to a luxury resort in Cabo, but outside of that category, this is easily one of the best hotel experiences we've had in Mexico. Clean rooms, great staff, secure parking, excellent location, and a genuine sense of hospitality. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ensenada.

Reviewed Jun 1, 2026The location is hard to beat. It’s within walking distance of all the areas we like to visit. The parking is much better than many other places and the staff are very personable and attentive.
The bad is basically with the comfort of the bed and bedding. It is very, very firm…including the pillows. My father and I woke up with stiff necks and bad backs. I knew I could not take the additional nights left in the reservation so I booked somewhere else at a financial loss. This is unfortunate. Everything else was great but a comfortable bed and bedding should be a top priority. Most hotels I have stayed at hover around medium to somewhat firm, but nothing like this. I hope this changes later since I would like to give another try.

Los frascos de jabón estaban mal, en la ducha estaba el jabón de manos y en el lavamanos el jabón de cuerpo. Lo note hasta que use el de manos en la ducha 😑

Ya eh reservado otras veces por app y esta vez al llegar al hotel la recepcionista me dió una habitación muy fea, muy deteriorada, por el precio que pagué se me hizo muy elevado, la puerta del baño no cerraba bien, estaba toda inchada por la humedad el colchón que me tocó estaba hundido de un lado, esta vez la experiencia fue muy mala, creo que si regreso no sería a este hotel

I did not sleep the whole time. My room was net elevator and stairs . So much noise it was horrible. People screaming dogs barking. It would nice if you could put a sign indicating please don’t make noice others are sleeping. When client check in ask them not to make noice. A sigh by the elevator and stairs.

It looks a bit 'tired', like it has seen better days. For instance, the bathroom door needs paint, and some other areas are chipped, damaged, or worn.

Poor maintenance, bad judgment assigning rooms, and unhelpful staff who tried to shift blame to the guest. Not asking for luxury, just safe and functional rooms.

La habitación 221, no la han mejorado, el baño daba cosa el piso..pareciera que no lo trapean, se necesita mas luz en el área del espejo...el closet descuidado y con polvo en las esquinas del piso, cuando salí vi que tienen habitaciones muy bonitas y con mas luz, nada que ver con el closet qué tiene la 221, y el baño que no tiene extractor y la ventana da miedo abrirla por lo que hay afuera...aun así el trato de los empleados muy bien. Estacionamiento también. Gracias...si vuelvo a ir, me aseguraré de que no me den la habitación 221.

We had to be moved rooms as the electric door not working. After three attempts I requested a room change as I had to wait 30 mins for them to open door. The second room did not have a second security lock. The gal at the front desk seemed to be annoyed about our situation.

Reviewed Sep 15, 2025I’ve been staying in the same hotel 3 times per year since 2018. We checked in 3 night this past weekend. I was giving the most cheap room! It was room 102. The bed was broken on one side! The pillows were so hard and had a bad smell! The bathroom faucet was leaking! The shower door was broken! The shower was so small like a RV shower! There was no water pressure! In the shower! The next morning I went to reception to ask if I was able to move to a different room. I told her the reason why I wanted to move. The same lady that was there the night before when we checked in was there. She answered me NO! We don’t have any others rooms available on the first floor. She was only offering me a room in the third floor. I answered, I had made the reservation three months ago requesting the first floor. She really did not care what I was telling her!! She answered me so RUDE!!!! I told her we had paid $240 a night we were given the worst room!! and she answered we don’t have a room available on the first floor. There was a lady next to her and she answered, we could move you to room #110 it just needs to be cleaned. It should be ready by 12:00. The RUDE LADY WAS STILL SAYING THE ONLY ROOM THEY HAVE AVAILABLE WAS ON THE THIRD FLOOR. The nice lady did the move. I went back after 12:00. I made the switch to room #110. The room was extremely clean! The room was like night and day from room #102. At the end I was very happy!! Am so thankful to the nice lady! I should’ve taken her name.

I asked for some more water and somebody showed up like immediately at my door. The cleaning people were very very polite. I think it’s my favorite place to stay in Ensenada.
