The location was ideal for us. The hotel is in a quiet residential area, but only a 15 minute walk from the train station, and about 10 minutes to the centre of Bruges

Our room was lovely, but there wasn’t much soundproofing between us and the neighbouring rooms on either side of us.

The location - was very close to everything

I didn’t like toilet being so exposed to practically the whole downstairs area - curtain to the bathroom would have solved that problem

Hotel molto bello, in una posizione comoda per raggiungere il centro ma leggermente defilata e silenziosa. Colazione molto buona, come la cena. personale cordiale e gentile e ottima pulizia.

L'unica cosa è la mancanza della doccia nella nostra camerta, la vasca da bagno è bella ma poco pratica.

Unser Zimmer hatte leider keine TÜR zur Toilette/Bad! Das hab ich noch nie zuvor erlebt.Ich reiste mit einer Freundin. Ich möchte eine Tür schließen können, wenn ich auf die Toilette gehe. Außerdem war da gerade eine Baustelle in der Straße. Morgens um 7:00 ging der Lärm los. Wir teilten unsere Bedenken wegen der fehlenden Tür und der Baustelle der Empfangsdame mit,aber sie sagte, es sei normal, dass wir keine Tür hätten. Und morgen sei Samstag, da wäre ja kein Lärm zu erwarten. Wir bekamen kein anderes Zimmer, obwohl noch Zimmer zum Innenhof frei waren. Am nächsten Tag arbeitete eine andere Dame. Sie war sehr freundlich. SIE hätte uns ein Zimmer mit Toilettetür gegeben und entschuldigte sich für die Unannehmlichkeiten.

Das Frühstück wurde als aussergewöhnlich angepriesen. In Bezug auf das Angebot war jedoch nur der (hohe) Preis aussergewöhnlich.

Wonderful hotel, really interesting decor, excellent breakfast, and great location.

This is such a lovely hotel. It is tastefully decorated and has the most beautiful garden in the middle of the hotel. We stayed in a garden room which was really spacious, especially compared to the tiny rooms we had in London and Paris. Beautiful bed linen, quality toiletries, good air conditioning and a robe and slippers made this a very comfortable stay. I appreciated having tea and coffee-making facilities in the room and sitting out the front of the room with a cup of tea, looking at the gardens was very peaceful. It’s in a great location, an easy 10 minute walk to the market square. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Delightful small hotel. Peaceful garden. Just the right distance from everything in Bruges I’ve been looking for an alternative to the now overpriced Dukes Palace & I think I’ve found it

Location close to the centre. Parking as we had a camper van. Garden pretty and room overlooked that. Nice bathroom products and robes.

Knew room would be small but was just a bit too small. We were in the garden rooms and when we walked out to the front of the property through the hotel, there was a feeling of it being empty and with little atmosphere. It was a fine stay just lacking in personality.

Das Restaurant bzw. der Frühstücksraum präsentierten sich sehr stil- und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Auch der Innenhof mit seinem ansprechend gestalteten Garten und dem Wasserspiel machte einen hochwertigen und einladenden Eindruck. Das Zimmer war schön und großzügig, lediglich bei den Betten bzw. Matratzen hätten wir für ein 4-Sterne-Hotel eine bessere Qualität erwartet. Das vom hauseigenen Restaurant angebotene 4-Gänge-Menü war preislich attraktiv, qualitativ gut und zudem sehr kreativ angerichtet. Die Getränkekarte hingegen, insbesondere die Weinauswahl, empfanden wir allerdings als überteuert.

Der Check-in begann wenig erfreulich: Nach einem internen Telefonat und einigen Minuten Wartezeit wurden wir mit einem kühlen „Ja …???“ begrüßt – herzlicher hätte man kaum signalisieren können: „Was führt Sie hierher?“ Der nüchterne Empfang setzte sich fort: Trotz vollständig bezahltem Zimmer wurden E-Mail-Adresse und Kreditkarte „als Garantie“ verlangt – ohne jede Erklärung. Informationen zu Frühstück, WLAN oder Hotelangeboten? Fehlanzeige. Zum Gepäckausladen stellten wir unser Auto zunächst vor dem Hotel ab. Der hauseigene Parkplatz wurde uns anschließend für stolze 30 € pro Nacht angeboten – obwohl wir ihn gar nicht nutzen wollten. Daraufhin sollten wir den Stellplatz umgehend für andere Gäste zum Ein- und Ausfahren räumen. Eine solche Aufforderung war selbst nach zahlreichen mindestens 4-Sterne-Hotelaufenthalten weltweit eine Premiere. Der Abend im hauseigenen Restaurant setzte dem Ganzen die Krone auf: Statt gehobener, ruhiger Atmosphäre herrschte durch eine offenbar bestens bekannte Gruppe laute Partyatmosphäre. Mehrfache Beschwerden blieben wirkungslos. Nachdem wir die Gruppe „selbst“ höflich um etwas Ruhe baten, ermahnte der Küchenchef ausgerechnet „UNS“. Rein zufällig sahen wir ihn später bestens gelaunt und auffallend vertraut im Gespräch mit genau dieser Gruppe – die Botschaft war eindeutig. Für ein Restaurant dieser Kategorie ein absolutes No-Go: Diese Gäste waren offensichtlich „erste Wahl“ – der Rest zweitrangig. Das Frühstück war qualitativ gut, aber eintönig. Am letzten Morgen lagen um 8 Uhr lediglich zwei kleine Brotreste bereit. Auf die Nachfrage nach frischem Graubrot kam lapidar: „Es gibt kein Graubrot heute.“ Keine Entschuldigung, nichts ... Unser Fazit: Ein freundlicher und erholsamer Aufenthalt sieht anders aus. Freundlichkeit, Aufmerksamkeit und das Gefühl, willkommen zu sein, sollten selbstverständlich sein. Leider fehlte es daran durchgehend – umso enttäuschender nach mehr als 30 Übernachtungen in verschiedenen Hotels in Brügge.

Ein schönes, sehr ordentliches, komfortables Zimmer mitten in der schönen Altstadt von Brügge. Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig gelegen, es gibt viel Platz zum Verweilen z. B. im Garten. Die Zimmer sind top gepflegt und sauber, die Betten perfekt. Auch der Service und vor allem das Frühstück sind hervorragend.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, cozy, and the linen bedding was a true bonus! The property was well maintained and very serene. I would definitely go back and recommend it to my friends and family.

The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The gardens were beautiful. The room was comfortable. Fridge in the room. Excellent location. Onsite parking that was secure, but is chargeable. We had an upstairs garden room, next time we stay we will ask for a lower floor only so we can have the little table and chairs outside the room to sit out on a night. The breakfast in my opinion was excellent, eggs cooked to order, toast, homemade jams, bacon, beans, meats, Cheeses, breads, cakes, pastries, juice, tea and coffee and prosecco if you wanted.

Car park charges were slightly high in my opinion.

La camera era separata dalla camera attigua da una porta interna anziché una parete e non c’era privacy. Ho trovato l’hotel troppo caro per il servizio offerto.

Locatie is fantastisch en de suite waar wij in zaten was echt heel mooi en schoon.

Beetje onduidelijkheid over het parkeren. Maar uiteindelijk is het netjes opgelost.

Een geweldige locatie. Midden in het historisch centrum van Brugge. De kamer was heel mooi cottage ingericht met mooie producten. Voor 1 nacht hadden wij geen grotere kamer nodig. Een bad op de kamer was een zeer aangename verrassing. We konden de bagage al eerder afzetten en stond al netjes op onze kamer toen wij gingen inchecken. De volgende dag konden wij de bagage de dag nog laten staan zodat we Brugge nogmaals konden gaan bezichtigen.

Wij vonden het ontbijt voor ons wat prijzig. Uiteraard zal dit net zoals het hotel geweldig zijn geweest.

Het ontbijt en de locatie waren subliem.

Bij de receptie was de man die ons hielp niet echt vriendelijk. We kregen het gevoel dat alles teveel was. Op onze vraag of er nog andere lichtere kussens waren was het antwoord resoluut NEE. Bij uitchecken werd ons door een vriendelijke vrouw bij de receptie gevraagd of alles in orde was geweest want anders hadden ze hier actie op kunnen nemen. Verder personeel heel vriendelijk.

Goed gelegen. Rustige locatie. Comfortabele bedden. Mooie kamer. Fijne, stille airconditioning.

Prima locatie en de airconditioning werkte zeer goed. Vanwege de tropische temperaturen was het zeer aangenaam. Ook het bed was comfortabel.

Vloerbedekking en meubilair ietwat gedateerd. Koffiemelk en suiker werden niet aangevuld. Omdat we er maar 3 dagen verbleven, hebben we er niets over gezegd.

Prima verzorgd ontbijt in een aangename omgeving . Zelfs de mogelijkheid om te ontbijten in de tuin .

De koffiemachine liet het al afweten na één kopje . Slecht één gratis flesje water inbegrepen bij de kamer . Mager voor de prijs van dergelijke kamer en dat bij de actuele hittegolf .

Dichtbij centrum en toch lekker rustig. Alles op loopafstand. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Tuin was heerlijk.

Per raggiungere la camera c'è una scala ripida con gradini stretti: avendo una valigia grande e pesante non è facile salire e scendere Nel bagno c'è la vasca e non la doccia.

Hotel je na ideálním místě a má příjemnou atmosféru. Personál je nápomocný a všude bylo čisto.

Bydleli jsme v objektu, který by si zasloužil lepší izolaci stropů. Bohužel jsme slyšeli kroky obyvatel pokoje nad námi

Property was beautiful in a great location close to the stunning Minnewater and Beguinage area, also short and beautiful walk down Groeninge st to town center less than 10 mins, close to shops bars and restaurants but being tucked away and quiet. Standard garden room out back was spacious and well equipped excellent air con during the heat wave, housekeeping daily, the most pleasant professional and helpful staff. Gorgeous outside areas in garden to relax in. Very good value for money. I highly rate this property and come back next time in Bruges.

Tutto.la posizione in zona tranquilla. La struttura bellissima con bel giardino ampio e godibile anche dall'esterno della camera. Stanza e bagno ampi.

Il costo del parcheggio

- schönes, geräumiges Zimmer an zentraler aber ruhiger Lage - gutes Frühstück, gute Klimaanlage, schöner Innenhof - gute Erreichbarkeit zum Bahnhof - ein modernes und gut ausgestattetes Haus

- Das Checkin-Verfahren empfand ich als langwierig. Es gab Probleme mit dem Kreditkarten-Terminal, mit dem Kopierapparat ebenso und trotz Vorausszahlung musste eine Kreditkarte vorgelegt werden, Tel.-Nummer und E-Mail-Adresse sollten aufnotiert werden und es dauerte bis dann alles kapiert ward. - In der Badewanne funktionierte der Abfluss nicht richtig und eine Handbrause fehlte mir - Frühstück erst ab 08.00 Uhr ist auch im Urlaub spät für meinen Begriff - zwischen ca. 19.00 Uhr und 20.30 Uhr fand in unmittelbarer Nähe zu meinen Zimmer noch die Apfellese statt, die ging selbstverständlich nicht geräuschlos von statten. M. E. sollten solche Tätigkeiten zu Zeiten eingeplant werden, an denen die meisten Gäste ausser Haus sind. Ich hoffe jedoch, dass es nun einen guten Apfelsaft und eine leckere Apfeltarte für die Hotelgäste gibt.

Nous avions une chambre sans porte vers la partie salle de bain / toilettes.

Las zonas comunes donde poder sentarte e incluso tomar algo son maravillosas. La habitación es muy cómoda y el personal muy amable. Además, está muy bien ubicado, en el centro pero en una zona tranquila.

Nuestra habitación estaba en una planta baja y se oían mucho los pasos de los vecinos hospedados en la planta superior.

All the staff were so nice and friendly. The receptionist was so helpful with an incident which occurred on my arrival at the airport (nothing to do with hotel) they went beyond there job to help me. The location is very central and close to everything. All the shops, restaurants, tourist attractions are within walking distance and there is a Carrefour supermarket right at the end of the street for all your essentials like water etc. Room cleaned daily and supplied with essentials like towels daily. The place itself is so calm and relaxing, there is a place to just sit and relax right outside your door of the hotel. The breakfast was ok, I think there could have been more options but it done the job. I would 100% recommend this place if you go to Bruges, you will not be disappointed. I would definitely go back and stay again.
