You need to close it down and do an overhaul of the place. The bed was great that's the only thing that was good . The carpet was filthy I mean filthy. the toilet ran all night and took the lid off black mold. I used the hair blower which overheated the handle and I had to throw it down or I would have got burned. Tried calling the front office on the phone it's completely without any numbers to dial to get the front I mean it shows nothing. The front door's old so they have a chain on the top and then a lock but you still can move the door it's not secure. I was tired and had my granddaughter with me she was afraid we were going to get bed bugs I should have gone somewhere else but it is what it is this hotel needs to be refurbished. Oh yes and the pool was covered. It's 90° out and you couldn't use the pool because the pool is covered. And I went to get ice and the ice machine was out of order. Never in my life have I stayed in such a decrypted hotel and I will never do it again. The TV wouldn't turn on so I had to get the front office to come and fix it and then the TV wouldn't shut off. So I looked at it and on the side of the TV there were some little buttons for on and off hit. But what a nightmare of a place.

HOTEL WAS CLOSED! FLOODING. WE WERE NEVER GIVEN AN EMAIL UPDATE. HAD TO SCRAMBLE TO GET A HOTEL ROOM ELSEWHERE.

Did not get the chance to stay, my room was canceled due to the facility being shut down. I found it on the day of first stay.

They canceled my stay . They said they were flooded out! Didn't help me get another hotel.

They didn't offer me any kind of free stay because I had to make other arrangements. I was very disappointed with they way they handled the situation.

Hotel was closed due to remodling and no one let us know when we booked it. Booking never notified us nor the hotel. We get to helen and no place to stay so we had to cancle our trip .

The hotel was closed for renovation when we arrived after having prepaid for our stay.

We found at upon arrival- ( made reservation weeks ahead of time) that the hotel was closed to for renovations!!

Heard from the couple that we were meeting there two days before heading there that they received a call canceling the reservation due to the hotel shut down till Msy 4th. I called the hotel but they would not answer the phone. So I sent a message, they finally replied and said we are closed and if they had a phone number they would had called me. So why didn't they see it was through you and contacted you to get in touch with me! Very poor business ethics!

The entire hotel was closed and under repair. No one spoke English. Finally I found a cleaning lady who told me they didn't notify me because the hotel didn't have my phone number! Sure.

The place is a bit run down. Carpet is old and dated. Pool bottom is in need of repair, virtually no seating in pool area.

I liked the location because it was very convenient to the shopping and activities in Helen.

I didn't like the fact that because I booked through booking.com, I did not get a call from the hotel or anyone else to let me know that my reservation had been cancelled and money refunded due to a burst water line in the hotel, making our stay there impossible. I didn't learn this until after I arrived at the hotel and discovered that it was closed. I called the number for the hotel and the staff was kind enough to inform me of the problem and that all reservations had been cancelled and patrons were notified. However she also informed me that if I booked through a 3rd party, it's possible I was not notified. Gotta say Booking.com let me down this time. I'll definitely think twice before using it or any other 3rd party site again to book a reservation.

The hotel was close to downtown. We were able to easily walk to nearby attractions and restaurants.

The hotel flooded the second day we were there we were told to get our things and leave no help finding any other accommodation were offered from the hotel all our belongings were soaked I will never stay there again

Room was advertised as having 2 queen beds. They were full size beds a best. The hotel and room were extremely outdated. The mattresses were very old and had 4 mattresses pads, which didn’t help make them any more comfortable. One of the mattresses dipped down. It was extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. No one in our party got any sleep. Would not go back to this hotel.

We loved the location. It was very close to downtown and we could leave our vehicle at the hotel and walk to everything. The hotel was older but very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was also very good. The kids loved the indoor pool too. And all the staff were very friendly.

Dirty room: unwashed mirror, looked like dog hair in the carpet, under the pull out couch had stuffy, a glove and food, under the pull out sofa mattress had food crums.

Great location. Easy walk to dinner and shopping.

Building has seen better days; could use some TLC.

The property was conveniently located. Close enough to the main strip to walk but not close enough for any noise that may go along with that.

The staff was not very friendly. After the initial check-in, I didn’t see or speak to another person that worked there. No matter how many times I was in and out I saw no one. The first thing I noticed when I walked into my room was the smell of wet dog. The room looked clean but the smell hit you as soon as you opened the door. It didn’t end there. When we went to be that night, and laid down in our beds, the scent of cat urine was so strong it was sickening. I don’t mind pet friendly facilities at all, being an animal lover myself, but if you are going to be pet friendly please make sure your housekeeping staff is fully cleaning your rooms. Also on our two night stay, beds were not made and trash was not emptied.

The staff was pleasant and my son loved the indoor pool. We loved how convenient it was to everything. The beds were hard but fine for our 1 night stay.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. Breakfast was good, and the location was excellent—near restaurants and shops in Helen.

The interior rooms were clean and tidy, the hallway and stair carpet was disgusting (very dirty).

The room i got the windows weren't clean, the bathroom door wouldn't close. I took a shower and the wash cloths had strings of someone else's hair in them. Breakfast was powdered eggs that tasted like my old military days, which i wouldn't feed a homeless person and precooked, soggy sausage tasted like hot dogs cooked in old water. The exercise bike was also broken and the ceiling in the bathroom were peeling.

Location, location. The King bed is very comfortable.

They ran my credit card prior to check-in. We were told they were busy. But, if you’re so busy then how did you have time to run the card. Check-in is at 3. It’s not like we were extremely late. We checked in prior to 5 after spending the day eating lunch and walking around Helen. This is our 3rd trip to Helen where we have stayed here. I was disappointed in the check-in, there were no chocolate chip cookies and for the price we paid, we should not have been directly across from the elevator. The noise was pretty constant throughout the night.

The bathroom door wouldn’t completely close and the room was a bit dated. I attended a conference at this hotel several years ago and I was surprised to see how it had changed.
