Horrible mattress, worn out, sleeping like in a hammock. It caused me terrible back pain. It should have been discarded long time ago. Poor choice of plates and fishes. Only 2 plates provided (one normal size and the other appetizer size), no mugs for coffee. No salad bowl, no chopping board, no frying pan. No kitchen knife. But , ironically, there was a dishwasher! Ha! Ha! What for? 2 plates? We appreciated staff cooperation and willingness as they brought us 2 mugs and one frying pan immediately. Unfortunately they couldn't change the room for us as they said it was fully booked. We got a ground floor room and we had to deal with all the hotel traffic passing in front of our window. These ground floor rooms (like 104) shouldn't be rented as rooms for guests. Location of such rooms is totally unapropriate for a holiday. No balcony at all and windows barely opens to allow some fresh air.

Problème de micro ondes dès le début, la lumière s’allumait et s’éteignait et impossible de s’en servir il ne chauffait pas.Donc impossible d’acheter des plats à réchauffer.

Sonesta was an amazing stay for us. Location was ideal, with a 10 min walk and then 4 min subway ride, you're in Manhattan. Property was quiet and safe. Felt confident leaving our car parked for 3 nights (drove from Canada). The room was very large with a full kitchen including a stove top, microwave, dishwasher, and full sized fridge. Super convenient train/subway travel to Hoboken, and NYC. We were right next to the elevator but our room was so silent. The bed and shower were really nice. Less than 5 minute walk to the water to see the NYC skyline.

The AC wouldn't stay where we set it. When we came back from walking and sweating for 12 hours, the room sat at 71 when it was set at 66 (the lowest), which felt warm when we hoped for an ice cold room. It's like the AC just didn't stay cold through the day, and it took ages to cool down for the evening/night. We were on the back of the building where the train goes by constantly. This didn't bother us as the windows did a good job at muffling the sound and we aren't normally too bothered by noise anyway. The toilet was too high to comfortably sit on.

Location and accessibility to PATH was excellent. There was ample parking.

It was not mentioned that the rooms are cleaned once every two days so we got back from NYC to find that the room was not cleaned. A little disappointing. The room was very small and the bath shower was really loud. So there was no way of taking a shower without waking up other people.

Уборка производилась через каждый 7 дней, за такие деньги можно было хотя бы через 3 дня , первый раз как человек имеющий генезис скидку была удивлена и то что замена полотенец сами несли на ресепшен ) и еще собаки в отеле , если у человека аллергия на шерсть .

Overall, I had a good stay at Sonesta Simply Suites Jersey City. One of the hotel’s biggest advantages is its fully equipped kitchenette, including a microwave, oven, stovetop, and refrigerator. This is a rare and valuable feature, especially in Jersey City and the New York area, making it an excellent choice for longer stays or travelers who prefer preparing their own meals. The main downside was the condition of my room. The sink leaked underneath, causing water to accumulate beneath the carpet, which unfortunately resulted in an unpleasant odor throughout the room. I hope the hotel addresses this issue promptly, as it affected the overall comfort of my stay. Housekeeping is not provided daily and is only available upon request. However, the front desk staff are happy to provide additional amenities whenever needed, including extra towels, toiletries, vanity kits, toothbrushes, salt, and other essentials. The security deposit is $50 per night, which is worth noting before arrival. In terms of location, the hotel is approximately a 10–12 minute walk to Exchange Place PATH Station and only 2–3 minutes from the nearby light rail station. From Exchange Place, you can reach the World Trade Center, and from there continue to Times Square. Depending on your connections, the journey to Midtown Manhattan typically takes 50 minutes to one hour using public transportation. If you don’t mind relying on public transport, this hotel offers good value and can be a practical option for staying in Jersey City. However, if your primary goal is to spend most of your time in Manhattan, keep in mind that the hotel is quite far from central New York City, and Uber rides can become expensive. Another point to consider is that nearby coffee shops are generally more than a 15-minute walk away, and due to ongoing construction in the area, reaching the nearest grocery stores requires about a 12-minute walk.

La ubicacion es espectacular, muy cerca de un tranvia en el que podes conocer jerseycity, como tambien dirigirte a las estaciones de path, es seguro, cerca de un espacio con linda vista al puerto y cerca de merkets. Las intalaciones fueron impecables, todo ordenado, limpio y excelente. Me volveria sin dudar a hospedar aqui. El personal fue muy amable.

Lo unico que no habia, era personal de recepcion que hablen español, pero era un mega extra si lo habia. Igualmente nada que no se pueda solucionar con la amabilidad que tuvieron y un traslate. Me volveria a hospedar en este lugar

I requested an extension for the next day. The accepted and later canceled at 10pm. I had to scramble for another accommodation middle of the night. Horrible experience. Apparently, its a kids free property. They knew i have a toddler and accepted the extension. This the what they sent me at 10:02pm at night. “ Hi Asif, I wanted to reach out regarding your reservation for tomorrow night. After careful consideration, I need to cancel the extension of your stay. As you know, Launchpoint Lodge is an adults-only property, and we’ve received messages from other guests regarding the sounds of a crying child. We are also fully booked tomorrow night, and I need to ensure we maintain the experience our guests expect. Approving the extension was my mistake, and I apologize for that. Unfortunately, I can’t move forward with it.”

We waited 15 minutes to check in. Only one staff member was working and doing everything. The bed linens were not clean. The housekeeping service is every 8 days. The bathroom faucet was not working properly. In the middle of the shower, the lights went off because of the sensor.

Hotel was nice. No breakfast or Ice machine on property, Pay park at Hotel and u already paid to Stay. Stove, fridge in rooms. I dont cook on Vaca. I would not stay here again. Not worth money.

The staff were very unhelpful. After an over 24hr trip to the US they were rigid about stupid buerocracy issues ... The booking had been made and was guaranteed online with a credit card. I have the card in my phone but it wasnt enough for them . They wanted the physical card! I waited over two hrs for them to sort it out ... I was soooo tired literally falling off my feet. When I said that after all Im here for 6 nights - can we please solve this in the morning - one of the staff said to me "There are other hotels in the area" !!! The following day my key cars didnt work . I went downstairs - there were people checking in . I waited till the one in line was being dealt with then I said "excuse me - my keys dont work". The guy said "there are people in line" . Luckily another guest who was checking in/out said to him "change her keys first" . Also there is a slight stench of wee in the carpeted corridor. The water flow drizzles .... I asked for a room with a view and got a view to the parking lot with a noise from the trams running just outside my window. Not a place I would ever come back to for sure.

Der Ausblick vom Zimmer auf das World Trade Center war einmalig! Mit der Path-Bahn von der Station Exchange Place war Manhattan in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen - top Lage! Es war sehr ruhig dort, man konnte sehr gut schlafen.

Il bagno e il frigorifero troppo rumoroso. Abbiamo chiesto di cambiare gli asciugamani dopo 5 notti e non hanno provveduto. Una notte si sentiva odore di bruciato vicino alle prese elettriche.

The location was just right because I'd planned to visit "my old neighborhood". The room was very-serviceable, clean and comfortable, that last including the bed where I slept peacefully. I arrived early and was easily accommodated about parking my car safely which I was very-grateful for!

The lighting in this (and most) bathrooms is too stark/bright for me. I did not know about the security deposit required before checking in -- no one likes those type of surprises!
