Das Hotel hat eine tolle Lage und super große,komfortable Zimmer. Das Personal war durchweg sehr zuvorkommend und wahnsinnig freundlich.

The woman at the front desk was so helpful on numerous occasions. The rates are a little high though.

chambre sans la vue sur la skyline (habituel avec booking, toujours les vues les plus nulles, canapé assez médiocre, caution à l'arrivée, pas de balcon, pas ultra propre (correct mais franchement pour Hilton peu mieux faire, salle de bain jolie mais il manquait des accessoires (par exemple pas de balayette) ! mais bon dans l'ensemble j'y retournerai sans problème, mais également sans l'effet "waouuuu"

The staff was great. Very friendly, helpful and informative at check in. The room was clean, comfortable and a good size. Parking was easy. If taking the PATH, its only about an 8-10 minute walk.

We spent some days in your hotel some years ago, so that chose it again. The hotel is a bit "used", however, still ok. Check-in personel was not too polite. The next day there were nice people at the reception and changed us the room - we got noisy 1408 first...new room was very nice and met our expectations for the price paid.

Convenient location for Jersey City and Manhattan

It was a family trip and as we came in with our luggages there was nobody to help. We book for 4 people but the sofa bed wasn’t ready and towels only for few people. Linen was very old with holes even when we asked to change. Definitely not worth $ 350,00 per night

The location, clean and comfortable

The property itself was great, and our guests continue to enjoy staying here. However, the check-in process was frustrating and could use improvement. When our guest arrived at 6 p.m., their room was not ready even though check-in begins at 4:00 p.m. We booked a room again this weekend Aug 15-17, unfortunately the front desk was unable to locate their reservation for more than 30 minutes. After traveling for 12 hours, the added confusion and delay were less than ideal. This is the second check-in issue we’ve experienced in less than two months. Our guest really enjoy the property and would gladly stay again, but I hope management takes a closer look at the check-in process. A smoother and more reliable arrival experience would make a significant difference.

Me and my family had a great time. You gotta make sure you do not book not on Tuesdays and Thursdays and you need to request kale as your host. The goat, he helped us a lot with our stay and he was very friendly. And made the trip 10x better because you know kale is there to help. Me and my family have had a lot of vaccinations and the was by far the best one because of kale . By the LaPoint’s 😀

Amazing location, wonderful hotel and awesome customer service! Easy to walk to the PATH to NYC and close to some great restaurants (I’d skip Cheesecake Factory!). You can take Newport Path Station to get to the city and if returning at night, get off at Exchange Place station for amazing skyline night views! Our room wasn’t ready at check in, but the staff was great with holding all our our stuff (and we had a lot!) while we went to dinner. The room was HUGE for our family of 5! 2 doubles and a couch were perfect size. It was also clean and very pleasant. Special shout out to Kale at the front desk. He was beyond helpful and friendly and should get a raise :) If you’re a family looking for a good size room for NYC, stay here!

The reception was excellent; the rooms were spacious and very clean.

I’m not sure if it was due to wear and tear or poor quality, but the mattresses sagged in the middle, and I would wake up with body aches. After leaving the hotel, I realized half an hour later that I had been charged an extra $150 for breakfast; I had to go back to file a complaint, and I am still waiting for the refund to be credited to my account—a bad experience.

Complete chaos for check in . Rooms not ready well after check in time .. and front desk was clueless . Only thing they kept repeating was ‘ we’ll let you know when room is ready’ . Never had such a experience at any Hilton properties.

I have been traveling to Jersey City for last 6 years and best place to stay is definitely Doubletrees. Latoya, Kale, Bezabeth and Michaela are most friendly host and take best care of my stay. Jonny serves good choices of breakfast. Room are spacious for families with NYC City View. Highly recommend staying at Doubletree Jersey City.

Although I have only been staying at Hilton Garden Inn New York/Jersey City for one day, I am already very impressed by the hospitality. A special thank you to Johnny, who is an outstanding host. Guest service and making visitors feel comfortable clearly come first for him. He is friendly, professional, and goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a great experience. I would also like to recognize Abdellatif, the chef. He listens to guests’ needs, makes everyone feel at home, and takes great pride in his work. The food has been excellent and beautifully prepared. If my first day is any indication of the rest of my stay, then I am in for a wonderful experience. Thank you to both Johnny and Abdellatif for making such a positive first impression. Mattress had list it's shape and was concave through use. A newer, firmer mattress would have been good.

We had a wonderful and comfortable stay. What made it more satisfying is the outstanding customer service provided by Tabitha. She was extremely helpful, courteous and efficient in resolving issues promptly. Good customer service is often lacking these days and it's staff like her that make one consider a revisit. Keep it up and we'll be back!

This hotel definitely deserves 5 stars! We were traveling from Niagara Falls, Canada, and upon check-in we had the pleasure of meeting Kale. After reading so many amazing reviews about him, we were really hoping to meet him — and he exceeded every expectation! Kale is absolutely incredible at what he does. He goes above and beyond to assist guests, makes you feel instantly welcome, and is so easy to talk to. He truly is a huge asset to this hotel. I would also love to give a special mention to Michaela, Janice, and Johnny from the breakfast area, who made sure we had a wonderful and comfortable stay every morning. Their kindness and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. I’m especially thankful to all of you for making my birthday trip so memorable. Visiting New York for the first time felt so easy and enjoyable thanks to Kale, who gave us excellent directions and helpful tips throughout our stay. Thank you all for your outstanding hospitality! We would absolutely love to come back again. Kudos to Kale and Janice for making our experience so special and unforgettable!

Hotel is in a very convenient area. Lots to do and easy to get around by car or public transportation. Great restaurants in the area as well.

Some things in the room we’re looking a little run down and old. The sofa’s cushions were all damaged. The wall paper in the bathroom was peeling.

Check in was easy. Location was great. Quiet area. Garage. Large rooms. Amenities.

Breakfast advertised at $25 per person. Charged $34. Arrived towards end of Breakfast hours and food was scarce or out of items but still charged full price.

We stayed here when my husband ran the marathon and it was the perfect location! We saw him run by 3 times right in front of the hotel, and then we walked a few minutes away to see him closer to the finish. The front desk was great giving us a room with a view since our room wasn't ready when we checked in. The 1 bedroom doubles suite was roomy and had a great view of Manhattan from the bedroom. There was a small kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The door separating the bedroom and living room were like French doors so had glass panels. I brought black shower curtains to drape over them to block the living room light from bothering the kids at bedtime and in the morning but unfortunately they kept falling down. So keep this in mind if you're traveling with kids. The kids were sad the hotel didn't have a pool, but loved the coloring sheets, crayons and of course the doubletree cookies. Thanks for a wonderful stay and the later check out! It really helped after running!

Le monsieur à l’accueil a fait semblant de me rembourser 300$ parce qu’il m’a donné une chambre de moins luxueuse que ce ce que j’avais payé au départ, car celle ci était indisponible. Une fois au Canada, je me suis rendu compte que le dépôt en fait n’avait pas été effectué et que à la place ils m’ont prélevé 333$ de plus.

Super close to subway station. Big enough room for 2 parents and 3 big kids. Close to shopping center and restaurants.

The console between beds didn’t seem to work … The alarm clock was running off batteries, the lamp wouldn’t turn on, the outlet didn’t charge phones. Unfortunately, I forgot to mention to staff.

It was an amazing experience! Me and my friend has the best time at the hotel and the city! All team members were great, but I have to mention Kale, Michaela and Latoya at the Front Desk! We will definitely will be back hopefully soon!

Quasi tutto, location comodissima per vicinanza Path che in 20 minuti porta al Down Town, struttura gradevole ed elegante, curata nei dettagli (bar, colazione, reception), stanze adeguate e comode. Stanze adeguate a famiglie numerose come la mia, non comune. Promosso con pieni voti.

Unica nota negativa l'areazione delle stanze, temperatura ottimale ma aria troppo secca, occorre adeguare con sanificazione o umidificazione per garantire un giusto confort al riposo.

Lovely staff. Kale was especially helpful. Nice area. Quieter than Manhattan but still close enough to take a short trip there.

We were in room 303 which is directly above the light rail train, Between the noise from the light rail, the noise from the heat that kick on and off all night and a toilet that was running and the tub faucet that dripped all night, it wasn't a restful night.

The parking is the other building, no bridge or covert connection

Great large rooms. The Front desk receptionist was efficient and jovial! I met my service maid, Edith and she was helpful and kind. The welcome cookies are great!

It was in a good location for the PATH and was easy to find with plenty of parking. The hotel was quiet with large rooms.

When we arrived at 5pm to check in our room was not ready so we had to leave our bags and cone back later. We went into NYC then returned at 10pm where the room was declared ready. However when we got into the room the sofa bed had not been made up and we were a family of 4. We unfolded the bed thinking it may have been made up but it hadn’t and there was no bedding left out for us so we had to go back to reception to get the duvet and pillows. In the morning we found that there hadn’t been enough towels left for us either so it was back to reception. The following day housekeeping then took the towels but again only replaced 2 so we had to ask for more again. It wasn’t the end of the world but was quite frustrating…

Extra clean and spacious 2 room suite. Lovely and friendly staff. I have stayed here a few times since 2002. But it has been years. I was so glad to see that it is still open and a Hilton brand for this last minute stay. Will definitely return and totally recommend!

Stayed here after the reservations I had in NY fell thru as hotel was not going to be Hilton anymore so this had availability. The rooms are very spacious which was a plus. My only complaint is that at check in we were not given the breakfast times and went down 5 minutes before 9am closing time, while we were seated and there was food in the line we felt the need to finish as soon as possible though the server was very polite. The front desk staff was nice as well. Hotel is close to the tram that takes you two stops over to the PATH train into World Trade Center. So location is in fact great as well.

The hotel is comfortable and well located for workplaces in Washington Boulevard in Jersey City. The bar/restaurant serves decent food making it a good option for a work trip, and the hotel has good facilities.

Prices are on the high-side but in-line with the NYC/JS markets that have gone crazy.

I love this hotel. It’s a great location with easy access to NYC and downtown Jersey City. The beds are super comfy. The best aspect is the customer service. I was attended by Mildred OZORIA at the front desk and she is just so warm and welcoming. Mildred goes the extra mile to make your stay memorable. She was incredibly courteous, patient, and professional from the moment we arrived. Checking in a large group can be a lot, but she handled everything smoothly and made sure we were all taken care of. Throughout the night she continued to assist us with anything we needed, always with a great attitude and a smile. Her customer service was truly top-tier and made our stay that much better. My family needed a place to stay with a really late checking. We called the hotel and they had the room. We got around 3 am and there was Mildred at front desk. She knew we were arriving and she was expecting us. She was very welcoming, helpfull and caring with my family. She knew how to solve our issues at that hour. Best place to stay with family if you want the full experience between NJ and NYC.

Our experience checking in and enjoying our weekend trip to Jersey City/NYC was made perfect by DoubleTree! The Front Desk Associate, Kale, was SUPER helpful and welcoming, and made it very easy to settle in. We HIGHLY recommend staying here—their customer service is 10/10.

I am a regular here and have been staying at double tree Jersey City couple of times per month for over a year. It’s a great place to stay if you want the best of Jersey City as well as Manhattan. It is right across from Hudson with some great views of the skyline from the suites. This is an all suit hotel with a separate sitting and a bedroom area. I always stay at the skyline view corner suite. Their service and staff is always great. Special shoutout to Latoya as she is always nice and welcoming and tries to find me a room even when I am early. One of the reason I chose to stay at double tree is because of the staff, including reception and guest services. Most of the front desk staff know me by name so thanks to everyone. Highly recommended!

I didn't expect much other than a typical Hilton stay. I just booked a room... What I got was impressive! The room was not only super comfortable and spacious, but the staff were amazingly efficient and kind (Tabitha E. specifically). I was super impressed with this place!

Milderd was extremely helpful, very friendly, and incredibly accommodating. This is honestly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at overall. The customer service here is amazing. I’d rate it 10/10 and highly recommend it to anyone visiting this area.
