Die Zimmer sind ziemlich heruntergekommen, wird auf den Fotos bei booking.com gut kaschiert, ist in echt aber unschön - alter ekliger Teppich, uralte Strukturtapete, alte Badewanne, Türen verzogen und nur mit Gewalt zu öffnen, Matratze durchgelegen. Beim Frühstück Plastiktabletts wie in der Kantine bzw. Im Altenheim. Was genau ist der ‚Style‘ dieses Ibis Style? Als besonderen Bonus gab es um sechs Uhr früh einen Feueralarm, ausgelöst durch den alten Toaster im Frühstücksraum.

Aus den Rohren im Bad kam ein unangenehmer Geruch; die Duschen wiesen Schimmelsporen auf; WC war sehr niedrig; es hätte im Zimmer etwas sauberer sein können (Staubwolken auf dem Schrank); es waren ausschliesslich französische TV-Sender eingestellt

La salle de bain est un peu vieillissante, mais fonctionnelle. Le système de distribution du papier toilette n'était pas pratique.

Took three rooms before I received one that wasn’t faulty. The first room had a massive toilet leakage, the second room smelled like someone passed away. Eventually the third room was alright. Besides that they require you to hand in your hotel room key before 08:30 if you want to get your room cleaned. So if you want a clean room you won’t be able to sleep in. The hotelroom itself was clean, although the shower definitely had seen better times with lots of chalk and brownish rings on the floor.

No kettle in the room. Having to go to reception to get a hot drink and get the communal kettle there filled up. My friend who drinks tea was unable to get milk when she asked at reception and just got a terse "no milk" reply. The water jars were sometimes empty which was difficult coming back on very hot days. Other than that everything was fine.

Reviewed Sep 1, 2026The property looked very grand from outside, it’s in a good location. Nice big bedroom with windows that opened (we prefer to air con) Handy to have access to hot water in the foyer to make a cup of tea. Not an issue to store our bikes.
We wouldn’t class this hotel as a “styles” quality, the whole place is quite run down. It would have been amazing in its time, which has definitely passed. While our bedroom was nice and large, the bathroom was tiny and we are both quite slim and we struggled. Bathroom was also very mouldy with dirty grout basically needs replacing!! Breakfast was the worst we’ve had in France, yes there was a variety but just so so.

Het hotel bevindt zich op loop afstand van het historisch stads centrum. De buurt van het hotel kenmerkt zich door voorname oude huizen met een geschiedenis. De stad is in het algemeen een aanrader om er te verblijven. Het ontbijt was o.k.. de kamer was een beetje krap, maar verder wel o.k.
Deze IBIS Styles lijkt wat gedateerd. Maar alles wat een reiziger voor een kort verblijf nodig heeft was aanwezig. De receptionisten waren behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Dus geen echte negatieve opmerkingen.

Ik had gedacht dat je even voor het hotel kon parkeren om in te checken. En dan daarna naar de parkeergarage. Maar we moesten eerst moeite doen om een parkeerplaats te vinden.

Literie à revoir, car vraiment trop molle, et rapprocher 2 lits jumeaux pour en faire un grand lit n est pas assez confortable, il faudrait positionner les matelas perpendiculairement au sommier pour ne pas avoir ce creux entre les 2 matelas ! Conseil d hôtelier ! La salle de bain à rénover, surtout la porte de douche où un rideau a été accroché,! 1 fenêtre sur 3 est ouvrable partiellement

One has to climb two short flights of stairs before getting to the level where the lift begins - not ideal for those with reduced mobility.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026Heel mooi hotel in een prachtig karakteristiek pand. Vriendelijke ontvangst, we konden snel de kamers In. De bedden lagen lekker, er waren extra kussens beschikbaar en de kamers waren heel mooi. (Met goede airco!) Het ontbijtbuffet is ook ontzettend bevallen, ruim assortiment en lekker vers.
De kosten voor de parkeergarages waren uiteindelijk veel hoger dan was aangegeven door het hotel in de beschrijving. Er was ook geen koelkastje in de kamer om eventueel iets koud te leggen helaas

Reviewed Aug 30, 2026Lage war sehr gut. Ca. 10 min bis zur Fußgängerzone der Altstadt. Alles war prima zu Fuß erreichbar. Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage Gare Central für 9.30 für mehr als 24h war super.
Wir hatten ein Zimmer neben dem Fahrstuhl, und dieser bzw die Türen des Fahrstuhl waren sehr laut. Manko beim Frühstück gab es während unseres Aufenthaltes nur einen Kaffee Automaten und man musste sich für ca 10 Min in einer Schlange anstellen, damit man endlich seinen Kaffee bekam.

Zimmer wurde nach der ersten Übernachtung nicht gereinigt. Schlechter Abfluss des Wassers im Waschbecken und in der Duschwanne. Die Zimmer sind sehr renovierungsbedürftig.

Kleine badkamer en geen koffie- of theefaciliteit op de kamer. Die was er wel beneden bij de receptie.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026We waren met een elektrische auto. Wij hadden gevraagd waar we konden laden. Maar bij de receptie werd niet verteld dat je op de parkeerplaats niet mag blijven staan als de auto volgeladen is. Wij kunnen zelf geen Frans lezen.

Vriendelijk personeel, gemakkelijke in- en uitcheck, 24 uurs receptie, heel uitgebreid ontbijt, prachtig gebouw, op de kamers geen lawaai van buiten, aangename luchtverkoeling op de kamer. Bij de receptie mooie zit- en rustruimte met water, koffie en thee voor de hotelgasten. Gratis Navette (Shuttle) lijn N83 vanaf de bushalte om de hoek naar stadscentrum (niet op zondag!).
Kamers van alles voorzien, wel klein. Maar ja in zo'n mooie stad ga je niet op de kamer zitten. En er is ook een mooie zitkamer op de begane grond met koffie, thee en water.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026Goed gelegen hotel. De oude architectuur en inrichting maakt het charmant. Ruime kamer en badkamer. Douche is wel in het ligbad maar was voor mij prima. Fijn dat er airco is en het ontbijt was ook top! Je krijgt ook korting voor de parkeergarage. Goed gelegen, snel in het centrum en dicht bij Centre Pompidou en het station.
Misschien wat meer licht in de kamer en een douche is handiger. Maar eigenlijk viel niets echt tegen.

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026Een mooi, karaktervol oud gebouw maar heel comfortabel. De kamers zijn stil en hebben airconditioning. De oude binnenstad is makkelijk te voet bereikbaar. De auto kon tegen een gunstig tarief geparkeerd worden in de parkeergarage van het station, vlakbij.
De ontbijtzaal was nogal warm, airconditioning zou daar uitkomst bieden.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026L' emplacement au centre est vraiment pratique et les chambres sont calmes grâce à des doubles fenêtres. La chambre est grande et le lit très large. Très bon rapport qualité/ prix.
Le personnel du petit n était pas très aimable et les deux machines a café était en panne pendant 15 minutes.
