Yövyimme kaksi yötä, molempina öinä kauhea meteli ulkoa. Ihan kuin itse olisimme olleet yökerhossa, hotellissa ei minkäänlaista äänieristystä. Tämä oli erittäin ikävää, respasta vain pahoittelut. Yöunet jäi todella huonoiksi.

Frukosten var inte medräknad i priset, Missvisade bilder av rummet. Mindre än förväntat. Kylskåp tomt och öppet vilket innebar att frukosten vi handlat med oss fick vi be om plats i personalens utrymme.

Rum 023 var iskallt. För mig som inte tycker om att åka hiss var det inte så fräscht att gå från trappan till rummet. Fick byta till fint rum på våning 8. Kranen fick jag i handen. I övrigt bra!

Reviewed Sep 3, 2026A very beautiful hotel in a great location. There is a lovely large park right across the street, and shopping is within walking distance. The breakfast was good, and the room was beautiful and clean. We really loved that iced coffee was available at breakfast - it was absolutely delicious!
The main downside was the parking fee. The hotel’s parking garage was extremely expensive, costing around €60 per night. After travelling around Europe, this was by far one of the most expensive hotel parking options we encountered — almost twice as expensive as parking at hotels in other major European cities.

Estaban en obras, mucho ruido por obras en el hotel. El servicio de limpieza hay que pedirlo sino no lo hacen, en la primera estancia no nos cambiaron las toallas y la habitación era diminuta no había sitio apenas para abrir la maleta m. Nos quejamos y en la segunda estancia pagamos una mejor habitación, por las molestias nos ofrecieron ascenso de habitación y esa si era espectacular. Las otras habitaciones donde se quedaron los demás amigos algunas muy mal y otras bien. Cuidado que no todas las habitaciones están reformadas

Huoneeni oli kellarissa, joten siinä ei olllut ikkunaa. Toisena yönä katosta tippui päälleni vettä muutamia pisaroita ja heräsin tähän. Myös hanoista valui yhtäkkiä vettä yöllä vähän ja heräsin tähänkin. Yöpymisen hinta oli kallis huoneen tasoon nähden. Toisessa huoneessa kokemukseni olisi voinut olla toinen. Pidä siis huolta, että et saa kellarihuonetta.

W hotelu jest obecnie remont, co nie było odpowiednio zakomunikowane w momencie rezerwacji. Często hałas zaczynał się już przed 8 rano, mimo zapewnień, że tak nie będzie. Mimo zamówienia sprzątania co drugi dzień, za drugim razem nikt do nas nie przyszedł i musieliśmy prosić o wyniesienie śmieci i dodatkowy papier toaletowy jak w przydrożnym motelu. Pod łóżkami i oknem było dużo kurzu.

A desk and safe are in the room and the Wi-Fi signal was strong enough. And more importantly, a comfortabele bed and a very good shower. A room for someone that uses the hotel only to sleep and shower. Some renovation still going all, but I did not hear a lot a lot of noise. Central location within a twenty to twenty-five minute walk of the Central Station and old historic centre. Friendly staff. For the price paid (around SEK 800 a night) the room offered value for money.

Bestikk og eggholdere som var ved frokosten virket ikke ordentlig rene. Måtte legge vekk noe bestikk før jeg fant noe som så rent ut. Eggholderne satt klistret sammen med ekkelt vått skittent oppvaskvann mellom. Dette er det eneste som er å klage på.

Séjour mitigé au Scandic Anglais. À notre arrivée, il nous a été demandé de payer 20 € pour accéder à notre chambre avant l’heure officielle, alors que celle-ci était déjà prête. Cette pratique nous a semblé assez peu élégante, d’autant que notre séjour a été perturbé par des travaux de rénovation des chambres au 3ᵉ étage. Le restaurant était également en réfection, ce qui n’avait pas été précisé au moment de la réservation. Ces travaux ont nécessairement dégradé l’expérience et limité l’accès aux prestations normalement attendues dans cet hôtel. Une information transparente en amont, ainsi qu’un geste commercial, auraient été appréciés.
