Too big of a property and too many guests to feel the typical leela service Room in the new area was too far away. Spa was under renovation and not so good. Had very high hopes for leela but they fell short of the hospitality.

Very clean, and friendly staff

The facilities were wonderful, the food was great.

I was called in my room to report to reception at 9.30pm as a member of staff on the desk claimed that my wife had not checked in, which she had, and the same member of staff questioned the visa status of one of my children. This was cleared up quickly but the whole situation felt uncomfortable and unnecessarily hostile for a hotel of this calibre.

Having lived in Bangalore, we had previously visited The Leela Palace for dining and breakfast, but this was our first time staying overnight—and the experience was nothing short of mesmerizing and nostalgic. While we encountered a minor glitch during room assignment, Mr. Akshay at the front desk handled it swiftly and professionally, setting the tone for the rest of our stay. The property itself is breathtakingly royal and romantic, but it was the exceptional staff that truly elevated our experience to cloud nine. The housekeeping team, led by Mr. Rahen along with Ms. Syllari, Ms. Batriti, and Mr. Arewanki, ensured our room was pristine and wonderfully maintained. Meanwhile, Mr. Mohit as the Executive Butler and his team spoiled us with top-tier pampering in both the lounge and the restaurants. Every single staff member we encountered went above and beyond with their warmth, politeness, and world-class hospitality. Thanks to the whole Leela team, we are already looking forward to our next stay!

Our overall experience hosting meetings here was great. Kiran and Rahul, in particular, took very good care of us and were prompt in responding to all our requests. The staff were very humble and courteous, and the arrangements were excellent. Overall, a very pleasant experience!

An exceptional stay in a beautiful venue. The hotel is located in the middle of the city but inside your room you are isolated from all of the city noise. The club level lounge provides excellent service from the butler team throughout your stay. Certainly worth the additional upgrade to a club level room. From the first day, Mohit, Debjeet, and team provided excellent recommendations and service. I’ve stayed in hotels all across the world and haven’t seen service that works at this level.

Exceptionally friendly, competent, and accessible staff throughout our stay. Despite an initial mix-up with our reservation, and despite us having repeatedly advised the hotel of our late arrival and room preferences, the team recovered the situation well and accommodated us with several complimentary extras. A word of advice: booking directly with the hotel appears to work better than using third-party platforms, as the hotel's systems seem to struggle to process and respond effectively to requests made through those channels. We stayed with access to the Royal Club, and the High Tea and evening beverage offerings were outstanding. Both the food and drinks were of exceptional quality, with a wide variety of choices. The staff were knowledgeable, attentive, and delivered consistently high-quality service. The restaurants are excellent. Jamavar and Citrus were both impeccable, and the breakfast selection and quality were equally impressive. Overall, a highly recommended hotel and one that we will gladly stay at again.

Excellent service, location and the hotel amenities. Staff made our stay very special. Special mention goes out to Tanika who took so much effort to make our stay comfortable. Smriti gave us a tour of the history of the hotel covering everything in detail. Meghna also provided a wonderful service. Mohit at Citrus restaurant was very attentive and friendly. We have stayed in many Leela hotels and this has been the best experience so far.

We had a wonderful experience at The Leela Palace Bengaluru, and a special mention must go to Fatima, the Guest Experience Supervisor, who looked after us exceptionally well throughout our stay. Fatima went above and beyond to make sure that both I and my friends from the UK felt genuinely welcomed and well taken care of. Her warmth, attentiveness and personal touch made such a difference. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and she was always thoughtful, approachable and genuinely interested in making our experience special. What stood out most was that her hospitality felt sincere rather than simply part of her job. I stayed at the Leela Palace in August, originally I booked for 3 nights but I ended up staying for 6 because I just couldn’t bring myself to leave. The building and gardens are stunning, worth even for a day visit or to go to one of their restaurants. There is also a hidden speak easy with live jazz, tasty snacks and small bites. I had the old fashioned and it was perfect, However what really kept me extending again and again was the kindness, sweetness and impeccable service level of the staff. I was unwell one day so someone organised to have a nourishing chicken soup sent to my room. It was an off menu item for room service but they could sense it would be the perfect thing to help me feel better. I mentioned missing my cats when I travel especially cuddling them in bed and I came back to an adorable cat toy in my bed. They just really looked after me and did every thing they could to make me feel at home, safe, comfortable and showed that they truely cared about my experience. A local wine and whisky tasting was organised for me in the Library lounge. It was just every thought that went into making my experience the best it could be. The heritage tour and evening candle lighting were also lovely. The club lounge staff were very fabulous, the butlers were exceptional, from check in to check out every person we met at the Palace did leave us feeling a little royal. They helped organise a Saree to be tailored for me and then gifted me a necklace and earrings set to wear with it. Every gesture was so thoughtful and personalised. I wish I had made a list of every single persons name to thank here but I will should out Rovi, Oshin, Tanaya and Mohit who were from the club lounge and butler staff as they were the people I had the most interactions with. Really lovely people, I have already booked my return to The Leela Palace in September and I am so excited for it.

It was first visit for Leela Palace we never had such experience anywhere. It was first time for us the food service staff service is so great. Not only Patel. Even the garden is so beautiful that it will make you stress free. Specially, want to thank Mr. Mohit Dwivedi who was the Buttler for our boss. What an amazing hotel! Guests are given a personalised welcome and nothing is too much trouble, the hotel is spotless and the food is of the highest standards. I spent a great deal of time working in, and around the hotel, and the staff made the experience very special. The butler executive team (Rovi in particular) excelled, anticipating every need and yet not invading personal space. Thanks again Rovi ! Mohit and team provided excellent afternoon tea, and the staff enjoyed explaining aspects of their heritage and culture which greatly elevated the experience.. they even helped me book a final day trip !

Had a wonderful experience at the Leela Palace. Received a grand welcome for the weekend, as we came to visit prior to our wedding being held later this year. I booked suite indulgence package at Leela Palace Bengaluru expecting a good experience. As a GHA DISCOVERY Titanium member, I also expected some recognition of my status. Unfortunately, it didn't work out. The property is great, and the Terrace Suite was just about expectation. The only thing that worked properly was the BMW chauffeur service. To start with, the hotel sent a link to upload documents before arrival to make check-in smoother. Even after uploading the documents, the front desk asked for the same information again during check-in. I don't understand the point of sending the link if we have to repeat the process on arrival. After check-in, the butler came to greet us, and we asked about the dinner at Zen and the chef's masterclass, which are part of the package. Until about 5 PM, nothing was communicated to us. I finally emailed the hotel asking what made this package different from a regular suite because we had not experienced any of the "indulgences". Only after that email, they started to arrange them. The butler service added little value. I waited nearly two hours for an update on the chef's masterclass and dinner reservation. Later, I found out everything had been arranged after my email, but I only learned about it after following up. Communication was poor throughout on the day of arrival. Access to lounge during cocktail hours is part of the package. We were told that children are not allowed during that time. When I called the lounge to confirm, one staff member said that my daughter could join us. Two minutes later, another staff member called back and said children were not allowed. HUH! Later, they arranged cocktails at a restaurant instead. While I appreciate the effort, this should have been communicated clearly from the beginning. After this, we took part in chef's masterclass and had dinner at Zen. The butler stayed with us throughout the experience and assisted us until we finished dinner. At one point, we actually felt bad for him because he had been with us for so long. GHA Titanium status made little to no difference. They did not provide any upgrade (titanium gives double upgrade), so the hotel offered a complimentary buffet meal instead. While it was a nice gesture, it did not make up for the overall lack of recognition or service. I had a superb experience as a Titanium member at Anantara Kalutara, and that experience made me to book Leela Palace. This stay was nowhere close to Anantara. The post-stay experience was no different. I shared gst details before arrival and again during the stay, yet I still had to write to the hotel several days after checkout to get tax invoice. I also never received the usual TripAdvisor feedback request, apparently some server issue. Even my GHA stay credit was delayed. Again, I had to write to the hotel. A few days later, the hotel manager arranged a call to understand what had gone wrong. While I appreciate the gesture, it came too late to change my overall experience. For the price I paid, the hotel's reputation, and GHA Titanium status, this stay was way below expectations.

The staff were very busy with other guests … Even we were guests at the property but they didn’t respond to us properly and we weren’t given the correct room. After the change of room also it wasn’t a good room because we had booked for a garden view balcony but we didn’t get any view. And we there to celebrate our anniversary and expected some celebration cake and decor but nothing was done. Really bad experience

The Royal Premier Club Suite was big, beautifully appointed, and exceptionally comfortable, a real sanctuary to return to after long days of exploring. Access to the Royal Club lounge was another lovely touch, offering a relaxed setting with excellent food and drinks, and it added a real sense of occasion to the stay.
