We had a wonderful stay at this property. The accommodation was very nice, clean, comfortable, and well located, but what really made our experience special was the exceptional hospitality. A special mention goes to the lovely blonde lady at the reception — unfortunately, I don’t remember her name. She was incredibly kind, friendly, helpful, and always welcoming. She really went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and taken care of. Overall, a fantastic experience. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place!

L’emplacement est super, la piscine et le jardin magnifique. Les chambres sont un peu vieillottes je trouve, la salle de bain aussi, mais nous avions une vue magnifique. Manque de transat autour de la piscine, certaines personnes posent les serviettes pour réserver les transats… hallucinant. Le personnel est super, au petit soin, digne d’un 4 étoiles!

The location is perfect. 1 minute walk to the beach and also basically in downtown with all the little shops and restaurants nearby. Every evening we had a night market with wonderful little things to buy outside of the hotel. The property was very clean and smelled good everywhere. (Even in the elevator) Staff were very friendly and warm throughout.

We liked it through and through. Nothing to dislike honestly.

The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The facilities were top-notch, from the gym and massage services to the pool and restaurant. The breakfast was also excellent, and everything was truly of a very high standard. The view from our room was absolutely stunning and definitely the highlight of our stay. The only downside was that the laundry service was a little expensive, but overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this place.

Perhaps the location, as there isn’t much to do within walking distance and there are no grocery stores nearby, so having a car is quite useful.

The hotel building is not a new one, but it is spotlessly clean and well maintained. The garden is a true gem, the pool is a decent size, and also regularly maintained. The view of the bay from the room's balcony is simply stunning. When it comes to the services: the breakfast selection is solid — the usual offerings like scrambled eggs, hard-boiled eggs, various salamis and hams, vegetables, croissants, and more. The coffee cream is a lovely bonus — I have never experienced that offering anywhere else so far.

Customer service. The substance is there — requests are generally fulfilled, whether it's a beach towel, a piece of advice, or anything else. However, the delivery could benefit from improvement with some staff members. The willingness to help is present, but the warmth and manner of interaction is inconsistent. Transportation. Taxi services in and around Olbia, including Golfo Aranci, are significantly overpriced compared to European averages. For context: a 15-minute / 20 km ride that would typically cost €10–15 elsewhere in the EU runs a very minimum of €60 from Olbia Airport to Golfo Aranci. Uber technically operates in the area but routes requests to local taxi companies, and pricing can be unpredictable — initial quotes of nearly €200 for the same trip are not uncommon.

We had the most amazing week here in June. We had a ground floor Spa room and it was just perfect. This hotel really has the personal touch. The staff are incredible. We ate at the restaurant from the à la carte menu one evening and it was one of the highlights of our stay. We came here for a week of max relaxation in beautiful surroundings and these guys delivered. The hotel is set in stunning gardens and is very quiet. The hotel was fully booked during our stay but didn’t feel like it. There were no sunbed wars (unlike the hotel on our 2nd week) and fresh fruit kebabs were handed out in the afternoon which was a lovely touch. We didn’t want to leave and will most certainly be back. Well done to all the team and management at this beautifully run hotel.

De locatie is zeer goed. Het personeel is voorkomend en attent. Ontbijt perfect. Zwembad en jacuzzi liggen in de mooie tuin van het hotel.

Bedden zijn erg hard maar na onze tour op Sardinië bleken alle bedden zeer hard. Misschien een Sardijns kenmerk? Restaurant ( niet van hotel ) onder ons balkon begon al vroeg in de ochtend met zeer luide muziek voordat het open zou gaan voor de lunch.

The Hotel Villa Margherita was the perfect location. Clean and spacious rooms with everything we could have wanted. The staff were friendly and very helpful and courteous. The breakfast was perfect and the dinners we had on property were very special.

There is nothing I can complain about. Our stay was perfect.

Great location. 10mins from the train station. Staff were very friendly with great service and good prices . Free parking with limited spaces. 5 mins from a host of bars and restaurants. Cannot criticise Marco and his team for anything at all. Great location. Close to beach, port, shops and many restaurants Superb rooms with sea views kept immaculately clean by domestic staff. Excellent deal for half board in lovely restaurant with friendly and attentive waiting staff. 4 course evening meal with 3 choices per course. Extensive choice of food at breakfast served 7 till 11. Very civilised. Attractive grounds with good sized swimming pool. Congratulations to all concerned with running one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in

The staff was incredible. So nice and so accommodating. The location is phenomenal. The wait staff at the restaurant were wonderful as were the people at the front desk.

It’s a little outdated for the price. I’m surprised at how expensive the room was considering how old the hotel is.

The location of the hotel is perfect, right on the water front with a good sized pool and beautiful garden. The room sizes are good and the view from the balcony is spectacular. The shower has good power and all the toiletries you need. The fitness room is well equipped. The restaurant food is excellent quality and selection, with very good local wines. However I cannot give this a 5 star review because I booked the hotel as it has a hamman and massage service. I enquired through Expedia message about the massage services and was told ‘don’t worry you can book when you arrive’. I arrived at 1pm and was told the massage was fully booked for the whole day but there was availability the next day at 1pm or 7pm, I said thats during lunch or dinner. She then called another therapist to come the next day at 6pm. I asked to book the hamman for the hour before my massage and she said ‘yes that’s all booked for you’. I returned early from the beach the next day to go to the hamman before my massage but I was told ‘sorry it has already been booked’. I said that’s not possible as I booked it and was told ‘you must have misunderstood’. She then called 10 minutes before my massage to say it was available, which was pointless. The room was advertised as a double but it was in fact two single beds pushed together with very uncomfortable single mattresses. When I complained the receptionist looked surprised and said ‘oh you did not request this? She took the two bottles of water off my tab, which considering there should have been a fresh bottle each day free but there wasn’t, I don’t think it’s a far enough gesture considering I didn’t get to relax in the hamman and I woke up with a sore back from being in the crack of the two beds. It’s a shame as I would have like to recommend this hotel but it didn’t feel like they cared about customer service.

Les équipements de l’hôtel sont vraiment excellents. La salle de bain est très agréable, les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables, et le balcon est un vrai plus. La piscine, même si nous ne l’avons pas utilisée, est superbe, tout comme les installations autour et les jardins, parfaitement entretenus. Le petit-déjeuner était également excellent, varié et de très bonne qualité.

Le restaurant est un peu décevant : les prix sont élevés et la qualité n’est pas à la hauteur. Nous avons aussi fait des massages chaque jour ; ils étaient corrects, mais nous avons payé pour une heure alors que les séances duraient seulement 45 minutes. Le personnel est globalement aimable, mais sans plus.

Colazione eccezionale, ottimi prodotti sia per la parte salata che per la parte dolce, e anche per la frutta. Piscina bella ma era ottobre quindi non l'ho usata. Posizione bella con vista mare. Bellissima camera con un ampio e comodo loggiato. Camera perfetta anche per soggiorni lunghi. Letti molto comodi. Ottimo il bagno, ben accessoriato e ampio. Ottimo servizio alla reception.

Purtroppo in camera di notte si sentiva un rumore di sottofondo dovuto ad un estrattore d'aria oppure una pompa di ricircolo dell'acqua calda sanitaria. Situazione comune a molti alberghi, che dovrebbe essere affrontata con più impegno dagli albergatori, perché è risolvibile. Un po' angusto il garage interrato, ma gli spazi sono ben sfruttati nei limiti del possibile. Cena con basso rapporto qualità prezzo, perché il menù era un po' ambizioso, ma con piatti non del tutto soddisfacenti e prezzi piuttosto cari. Il Comune mette una tassa di soggiorno spropositata.

Colazione molto varia ed abbondante, adatta a tutti i gusti. Posizione magnifica con splendida vista sul mare. Personale accogliente e professionale. Attenzione maniacale ai dettagli.

A wonderful family owned hotel. All the staff are super friendly. Delicious croissants at breakfast. The gardens at the hotel lead out to a gate onto the main road where the beach is. We stayed in a deluxe room which had a beautiful of the sea. Lovely stay would recommend.

Das Zimmer war sehr komfortabel. Bequemes, großes Bett und gute Kissen. Sehr schönes neues Bad mit einer Badewanne mit integrierter Regendusche und wechselndem, stimmungsvollen Licht. Wir hatten das Zimmer Nummer 203 im zweiten Stock mit Sicht auf das Meer, die Promenade am Ufer mit Palmen und auf den Pool. Der Pool war sehr schön und die Gartenanlage um das Hotel herum richtig hübsch und gepflegt. Das Beste aber war das Essen im Restaurant. Wir hatten Halbpension mit Frühstücksbuffet und vier Gänge Menü Abendessen. Beim Frühstücksbuffet hatte man genug Auswahl; Rührei, gekochte Eier, Bacon, verschiedene Käsesorten, Schinken und Süßes. Man konnte sogar aus frischen Orangen und anderen Früchten selbst Saft pressen. Der Kaffee war sehr gut; man konnte verschiedene Kaffeespezialitäten wählen. Frühstücken konnte man entweder drin oder draußen, direkt am Pool, was sehr gemütlich war. Frühstück gab es von 7 bis 11 Uhr und das Abendessen von 19 bis 22 Uhr. Das gesamte Personal war unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. Manche Damen an der Rezeption sprechen sogar deutsch. Das Zimmer war ruhig gelegen, man hörte absolut kein Autoverkehr. Das Parken direkt am Hotel war möglich aber schwierig (da gibt es nur ca. sechs Parkplätze.) Ansonsten hat das Hotel eine Tiefgarage, die aber 10 € pro Tag kostet. An der Straße vor dem Hotel muss man in der Hauptsaison Parkgebühren zahlen, aber wir waren in der Nebensaison da (ab dem 15 September) und da ist das Parken auf der Straße kostenlos. Wir hatten immer einen Parkplatz gefunden. Alles in einem eine absolute Empfehlung! Ein richtiges Wohlfühlhotel☺️

Auf dem Bett war nur eine große Bettdecke für zwei. Die war zwar aus Baumwolle aber irgendwie sehr schwer und rau, was sich ungemütlich anfühlte. Auf Anfrage haben wir aber sofort zwei große, leichte Bettlaken zum Zudecken bekommen, was viel angenehmer zum Schlafen war. Der Preis für das Zimmer war selbst in der Nebensaison ziemlich hoch, aber wir waren nur vier Tage da und da weiß man, wofür man zahlt.

My wife and I stayed there for three nights in late September. Loved the hotel and the town. Great beach location with lots of options for shopping and eating. Staff was very courteous and helpful. We had an issue with our bathroom and they promptly fixed it and actually gave is a very nice credit (unsolicited by us) on our bill at checkout. Would highly recommend and definitely stay there again.

Exquisite from start to end. I came with my husband, hoping for a peaceful/luxury 3 night stay and that is certainly what we had! There is ample parking at the front of the hotel, and immediately upon entering, there was a lovely welcome. Our room was superb- everything was clean and carefully thought of. From the robe, slippers and beach bag (complimentary during your stay) to the beautiful decor in the room- I couldn't find any faults. The view from the balcony (we had a deluxe room on the first floor) was beautiful. We stayed half board and I would definitely recommend. Each night we had a 4 course meal- all the dishes were delicious and again, we couldn't find fault. The evening meal overlooks the beautiful pool and gardens and the service was excellent. Golf Aranci itself is a quaint, quiet resort with a few shops, bars and restaurants. However we found the hotel was one of the most luxury places there so we didn't need to venture out too much. However the hotel is in a good, seafront central location. There is a beautiful beach nearby with a lovely beach cafe/bar on it too. Thank you very much for the fine service and wonderful experience we had- we will certainly be back!

De locatie, de kamer, de tuin het zwembad alles was perfect. Het personeel bij de receptie was erg behulpzaam. Het personeel in de bediening moet flink rennen om het allemaal bij te benen, wat heel mooi is dat ze het doen, een versnelling lager mag ook.

We absolutely loved our week long stay at the Hotel Villa Margherita. A beautiful family hotel in such a lovely setting, with very friendly and helpful staff. The pool, while not massive, was perfect to cool down and to keep the kids happy and was right next to the large garden area. Some days we stayed around the pool (never any problems getting a lounger) and some days we took the hire car out to explore the island (so the free car park was great). We stayed half board and had a different, tasty, four course meal every night. The children were able to mix and match from the adults and children’s menu which meant they could try a few new things too. The location of the hotel is great - an easy walk one way to the beach and a short stroll the other to the night market, bars and restaurants. The only niggle we had was the the beds were very firm - a mattress topper would have made all the difference to them. Overall a lovely hotel and we’d happily return.

We had a lovely 7 night stay here. The hotel was spotless and our room looking out to sea was perfect. The staff were all incredibly helpful and polite, quickly resolving a cot being made up in error for our 14 year old! 🤣 when we arrived. The pool area always had plenty of space with lovely gardens surrounding it and with drinks/ snacks just a push of a button away which was fab. The breakfast was just right we always found plenty we all liked. We ate in the restaurant a few times and found the food incredible with Alfredo and the team offering a first class service. The town has lots of lovely restaurants to choose from and while we were there they was always something happening in the square behind the hotel. There are a number of beaches within walking distance. The hotel have a number of excursions you can join by boat or bus (as we didn’t hire a car on this occasion), they even accommodated a last minute request from us, the bus tour we joined was excellent and a great opportunity to meet other fellow travellers and see other parts of the island. We also chose to hire e-bikes during our stay with a company based in San Pantaleo who delivered the bikes to the hotel and picked them back up, the hotel staff again happily advised where we could keep the bikes secured overnight and to charge them. The hotel is located near some great trails suitable for bikes running or hiking passing other beaches on your travels. We cycled up to Capo Figari where the views at the top were amazing and enjoyed running several routes around the area.

Villa Margherita in Golfo Aranci, Sardinia, will be our new home base, and we can’t say enough about the wonderful family and staff who run it. The hotel, grounds, and pool are all immaculate, and the location in a charming fishing village is perfect. With plenty of restaurants, shops, a brewery, a marina, and a beautiful beach, there is so much to do. The warm and friendly locals truly make the town special. The hotel staff is a perfect blend of professional and sincere. The restaurant is expertly run, offering a delicious breakfast buffet with amazing coffee and fancy, yet reasonably priced, dinners. The receptionists are cheerful and always willing to help. Monica spoke perfect English and helped us with our many questions. The head waiter, Alfredo, and his staff are outstanding, paying close attention to every detail. We chose the convenient half-board option, which includes breakfast and dinner. Each day we had drinks by the pool served by their amazing bartender Francesco. For those who want to continue their fitness routines, they have a small gym that must be reserved. Additionally, there are sidewalks and quiet roads to walk or run. The location is ideal for exploring the eastern and northern parts of Sardinia, There are many towns just a day trip away. After a day of exploring, returning to Villa Margherita feels like coming home. We are already planning to make this an annual trip and hope to bring our family next time. The most memorable aspect of our stay was the incredible sunsets which can be viewed from your balcony or strolling along the seafront promenade outside the hotel. The swimming pool was also a huge hit with us all in the August heat! I loved the peaceful gardens where we saw lots of geckos. Our room was very classy, modern & clean. We enjoyed the colour changing shower! Breakfast was delicious and finally the staff were so kind and helpful. The gift of the free beach bag in the room was a nice surprise!

Wir haben ein Standard Zimmer gebucht, daher keinen Balkon gehabt. Seitliche Meeresblick - war ok. Preis war sowieso sehr hoch, da August - Hochseason. Das Zimmer war groß genug und im Prinzip ganz ok. Das Frühstück war ganz passabel, ein Paar lokale Produkte waren auch dabei, mir hat es geschmeckt.

Das Bett fand ich gut, mein Mann hat es nicht so bequem empfunden. Super Strand gibt es in der Nähe leider nicht, es gibt viel bessere Strände am Sardinien, aber 2-3 Nächte kann man dort auf jeden Fall bleiben.

We came for our honeymoon and absolutely loved this resort and the hotel was stunning. Beautiful facilities, including a pool, free spa and gym facilities and massage treatments. We stayed in the spa executive suite and the private jacuzzi was beautiful. We felt all the staff worked hard to ensure we had an amazing honeymoon and we did! The two things we felt could make this hotel even more wonderful: Sun-beds- on some occasions we noticed people reserving these for the whole day whilst hardly being round the pool. This was not dealt with and made us feel a bit frustrated as we only took sun-beds when using the pool as there were never more groups of people in the pool than sun-beds. Towards the end we did notice the lifeguard removing towels. Breakfast- was absolutely divine but sometimes lacked variation and after 11 nights the options seemed slightly boring! Although it was all very good quality. Overall we had a great stay and would highly recommend, definitely try the restaurant too!

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. The hotels facilities are excellent and well maintained. The room was unusually large for a European hotel including the bathroom, and well appointed. The room had a large balcony overlooking the water and we spent several hours on the balcony, by the pool, and resting in their unusually large garden area. We had breakfast at the restaurant each day, but didn’t use the restaurant at night so can’t comment on that. The staff have incredible attention to detail, and service was always delivered professionally and in a friendly way.
