Reviewed Sep 8, 2026The location is fantastic. Right on the metro/train station Sol. And a walking distance from the Grand Via and the Royal Palace. Lots of restaurants and shops around. The staff were very friendly even with the language barrier (cleaning crew don’t know English). The room was clean and the breakfast was good.
They didn’t have a toilet brush in the bathroom. We had to ask for one and the cleaning lady didn’t have one and barely understood us. Finally she found one random brush. As two friends traveling we don’t need to see each other’s business in the toilet. There was also no trash bin in the room itself and we had to use our own bags or the bathroom bin. And the walls are really thin we could hear the people in the next room like they were with us.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026We really like the location because the metro and everything we need to see or visit was close. We liked the bed and the clean hot water in the shower. We liked that you couldn't hear anything from the busy plaza through the windows.
The noise insulation of the walls was non existent so we could hear everyone talking, talking showers even coughing and it was annoying at night. The shower wall was kind of destroyed and the window had a table in front of it so you couldn't shut or open it easily and the curtains were going over the table and the chair or you had to move it in order to put them exactly in front of the window so it wasn't practical when you were tired and just wanted to sleep. The stuff wasn't speaking good English and they weren't extremely nice.
