ibis Brussels Waterloo

Rien

Comfortable rooms, clean and modern bathrooms. Excellent breakfast with wide range of food. Good bar with a selection of beers. Helpful staff. Location only 5-10 mins walk from the centre of town, and 20 mins walk from the station.

Woefully under-staffed in the evening with only one staff member on duty. At one point, there were six people queuing to check in, two guests waiting with some issues, two people waiting for service at the bar and two more waiting to order food. Not the fault of the staff member who rushed around apologetically trying to deal with everyone as quickly as possible, but an issue for Ibis to address.

Good for the price. Parking available on site. Ok breakfast.

Looks outdated. Basic breakfast.

Great location

Beautiful room, very clean, spacious and comfortable.

Although the breakfast had reasonable choice, I thought 18 euros a day was extortionate, my son had a piece of toast and a pan au chocolate, was not not value for money, it’s more geared for the very healthy appetite. One evening I tried something off the menu I went for a tikka masala, within five minutes the receptionist made and brought it out to me, it was microwave meal for 17 euros, not impressed.

Locatie

Nulla, camera piccola, senza frigo, senza cassaforte, letto scomodo.

Tutto.

Location is easy for me get finished my work

Poor air conditioning: The temperature does not go below 25°C. We have to open the skylight to cool the room, which defeats the purpose of having air conditioning. Room size: The family room is very small for four guests. Bathroom ventilation: The exhaust fan is ineffective, so the bathroom smells unpleasant all the time. Cleanliness: Although the beds were properly arranged, the room was not cleaned thoroughly. The carpets and tables were dusty. Tea/coffee facilities: There are no facilities to make tea or coffee in the room. For morning coffee, we have to go all the way down to reception and pay for it.

Vrij verouderd hotel. Hier gaan wij niet meer naartoe.

Prijs.

Location, price, cleanliness

It was very small, no hand towel, not enough shelves to empty your suitcase into. A number of dogs were left in their rooms while owners went to dinner off site. They were crying and barking until 22:30.

It's a fair option. There was a problem with the room and, luckily, the staff managed to move us from a family to two singles.

After we came back from dinner we found a huge spider in our room. We had to wait about 30 minutes for someone to come (only one staff person present in the hotel who could not leave the reception unattended), sitting on the floor in the hallway (with two sleepy kids) monitoring the spider's movements. When they arrived they didn't really know how to safely catch the spider neither could they be sure that it was the only one in the room, so they switched us to two singles rooms.

Parcheggio gratuito Pulizia ok

The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was also good. We booked a family room with separate beds for the parents and children, which was exactly what we were looking for. On-site parking was available and convenient. The staff were friendly.

One small drawback was that our family room was on the top floor and partly in the attic, so the ceiling was quite low on the sides near the beds. The parking area was also a little congested because part of it was closed due to ongoing work.

There is nothing specific to mention.

Had to wait for check-in. No one at reception for about 5 minutes. ⁶

Ubicació i Bon tracto

Proximité

La douche et les toilettes

One of the best Ibis hotels we’ve stayed in. Very friendly , hardworking staff who were extremely helpful. Very clean, comfortable room, very close to Waterloo battle site
