The breakfast was amazing as was everything at the pool restaurant and dinner restaurant. The chicken and potatoes were to die for.

Die Lage ist außergewöhnlich und spektakulär! Der Manager des Hotels hat uns bestens betreut. Die Mitarbeiter haben ebenfalls alles richtig gemacht.

Ich persönlich hätte es begrüßt im Hotel ein Restaurant mit umfangreicherem Angebot vorzufinden. Aber es war auch kein großes Problem, der Ort bietet ja weitere Möglichkeiten diesbezüglich. Für Leute mit Gehproblemen ist die Lage natürlich wegen der vielen Stufen auch nicht zu empfehlen. Das war aber für uns persönlich nicht von Bedeutung.

Die Lage und die Aussicht auf die Caldera waren sehr gut.

Das Zimmer nicht mehr mit neuster Ausstattung, ältere Möbel, billiges Klappbett für 3. Person, Rost an der Duschglasabtrennungsschiene und Toilettenbürsten. Ältere laute Klimaanlage. Von einem Leading Hotel of the world erwartet man viel mehr, insbesondere bei dem hohen Übernachtungspreis !! Das Frühstück wurde a la carte im Zimmer serviert, die Qualität ok, wenig Ausfall, wieder nicht was man bei dem hohen Übernachtungspreis erwartet und woanders bekommt. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmte insgesamt absolut nicht! Die tolle Lage mit Aussicht haben auch andere Hotels dort, deutlich moderner und günstiger

Mega Lage im Hang mit einem Ausblick, von dem man sich den ganzen Tag vom Pool aus nicht sattsehen kann. Aber: man hat keinen direkten Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang. Den kann man am besten ein paar Schritte ortsaufwärts vom Hügel aus beobachten. Tolle Zimmer, jedes anders geschnitten, alle einzigartig, tief in den Felsen gehauen.

Alles einzigartig und wunderschöne Anlage. Da kommen auch die ganzen Influencer her, um den großartigen Anblick von oben zu fotografieren.

There was a fair amount of traffic across our balcony as people came and went but its location and view were fantastic

The hotel is immaculate. The views are stunning. The breakfast is great but nothing greater than the attitude of the staff, every one of them is just a joy to talk to. They are natural & genuine & will do anything to make your stay comfortable

One of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had, especially for a Leading Hotels of the World property. The rooms were dirty and extremely humid — the pillows literally felt damp, the bedsheets had stains, there was no hot water in the shower, and even the jacuzzi in the room had no hot water, so the only way to properly wash was using the bathtub. The kettle in the room was black inside. At the pool restaurant, the card terminal did not work despite three attempts to pay, so we were told to settle the bill at check-out. During check-out, the receptionist spent around 15 minutes repeatedly printing incorrect invoices, and then we discovered they added items we never ordered, including a Coca-Cola. Even after explaining this, they insisted we had to pay because I had signed the receipt without noticing the extra charge. The most shocking part was the forced tip — I clearly stated I no longer wished to leave a tip after this experience, yet they still insisted on charging it because I had signed earlier. Tips are voluntary, not mandatory. The entire check-out process took around 45 exhausting minutes while we kept hearing “the manager is coming,” but no manager ever appeared. Even something as simple as tea became ridiculous: first they brought only tea bags, and only after I asked where to get hot water did they finally bring a kettle, which was filthy inside. For a hotel associated with Leading Hotels of the World, this level of service and hygiene is honestly embarrassing.

Peaceful, stunning hotel with amazing staff. The breakfast was out of this world too and the people who worked in the restaurant were also brilliant. Loved it here.

Frühstück war gut aber nach dem dritten tag sehr monoton und alles am pool war absurd overpriced .. da kann man zwei Minuten aus der hotel anlage gehen und sich alles im shop selber holen

Everything! Super clean. Professional and courteous staff. Daily delivery of water and snacks. The food was fantastic at the hotel. 20 minute taxi ride from the port. The room was immaculate and is equipped with everything you can possibly want as a guest. The views were out of this world. The sunsets were magnificent. This hotel was the best part of our honeymoon.

The setting is magnificent. Hanging over the cliffs of the caldera. Unbelievable.

Our stay was absolute perfection. The staff was wonderfully attentive, and the location couldn’t have been better for us. Just a 25-minute drive to Oia, we were close enough to explore but far enough to escape the crowds—plus we had breathtaking views and warm hospitality right where we were. We did the morning hike to avoid the heat, which was such a memorable experience. Breakfast was outstanding—truly sensational—and every WhatsApp request we sent was answered quickly. The staff also arranged drivers who arrived right on time. (Tip: if you’re traveling during “rush hour” to a popular spot, it’s worth booking a bit ahead.) Our cave room was a dream, complete with a balcony overlooking the ocean. We loved relaxing on the deck every morning. There was even a small walk-in closet where we could tuck our luggage out of the way, and a little table inside that made a perfect spot for working or unwinding.

This is by far the best hotel experience me and my wife have ever had. Everyone was hospitable, showed care and overall constantly made sure we had a unique good experience. The reception always treated us right and even made sure we had breakfast to go in the next morning due to our early flight. Kosta went above and beyond helping us out in the morning as well!

La posizione è ottima, con vista spettacolare sulla caldera. Lo staff molto gentile. Il servizio di concierge è efficiente e sempre disponibile. Imerovigli è più tranquilla di Oia e offre un panorama mozzafiato, quasi irreale per la bellezza.

La colazione non ha il buffet, ma è comunque buona. Manca la frutta fresca di qualità (al menù della prima colazione offrono una macedonia di frutta in coppette, non ottima). Non offrono il caffè o bollitore (solo 2 capsule di nespresso il primo giorno, i giorni successivi non sono mai state messe a disposizione in camera)

💞 Me and my husband visited Santorini for the first time. Although the island is iconic in itself, I truly believe that staying at Katikies Chromata is what made our stay extra special. 🌊 The hotel offers the best views of the Caldera where we could admire the most magical sunsets. The location is absolutely perfect, with lots of restaurants, little shops and cafes to visit within walking distance. We had an awesome view directly from our bedroom balcony, but the hotel also has different communal areas to relax and admire the beautiful Aegan Sea. The breakfast was outstanding. ✨ When we arrived at Katikies Chromata, they let us know that we have been upgraded to a better room that happened to be available at that time. We ended up having a spacious room with an outdoor spa tub, which again made our stay wonderful. 🌸 The staff at Katikies Chromata was EXCEPTIONAL. They went out of their way to make us feel at home and they where always there for us if we had any questions or needed help with something. They were so accommodating and genuinely nice to us. I have stayed at many different hotels but I can truly say this is the best experience l've had so far. 💙 I would definitely stay in Imerovigli over Oia or Fira. It is slightly less crowded a bit less pricey but yet the views are breathtaking. We absolutely loved the vibes there.

Wow! What an amazing property! I stayed here with my best friend for my 35th Birthday. The people at this hotel were so impressive. Adonis greeted us as soon as we got to the property, he was well dressed, very well spoken, polite, charming & very knowledgeable. Adonis helped us all throughout our stay, he’s truly a gem & so great at his job. Our room was absolutely gorgeous! The view from this hotel is breathtaking, gorgeous pool, wonderful breakfast & dinner views. When I tell you that you don’t have to lift a finger at this place, I mean it! This staff goes above & beyond for there guest. Can’t say enough how amazing these people are! Galateia & Agkostina assisted us with breakfast every morning, they are so beautiful, kind & soft. We loved starting our day with them. WONDERFUL LADIES! Akiss, Dimitri’s & orfe.ass assisted is at the pool with drinks & snacks, we enjoyed talking to them & sharing laughs. Absolute gentleman, anything we asked for they were always there & you can tell they enjoy there job. All of the staff if extremely kind & professional. We enjoyed driving around with all there professional drivers as well but Dimitri was our favorite driver, he was very knowledgeable about the island & just a joy to speak with. He has worked for the company for many years, we felt very safe with him & enjoyed his company. On our last morning we were assisted by Konstantinos, he was such a great guy & we wish we met him sooner into our stay. He helped with our boxed breakfast & our luggage. He was so nice & we loved making jokes & laughing with him. He was a great friend to meet on our way out. I can’t recommend this property anymore! It’s absolutely amazing in every way. So much so that if I visited Greece again I would have to stay here again! The gorgeous views, wonderful staff & amazing food make this place easily a 20 out of 10! BRAVO!

Zero complaints, this is a wonderful place

This is an amazing property. The staff is wonderful and very attentive. Shout out to Omar. This location is in walking distance to several food options but also a quick taxi to nearby towns and several wineries. A must!

Great View. The Caldera and most parts of the island are visible from each point of the hotel. Personnel the Best I have ever met! It is real the most valuable ASSET of the Hotel ! Staff were very helpful everywhere. From the reception & breakfast area till the assistant guys for the transger of luggages. Fantastic Breakfast ! Very rich variety satisfy and the most demanding people with great quality.

My room has no so good view comparing with most of others in the hotel and in addition there was important problem with the humidity in the room as air cannot flow so there is smelling issue. Too many stairs. Be prepared for quite effort. Last but not least the facility areas are very poor for 5stars hotel. Swimming pool & its around area is too small. Breakfast area is very-very limited. It is absolutely necessary to be incorporated restaurant area in the breakfast area

Breathtaking views, delicious Greek food, super fun activities, impeccable service orientation, and amazing memories created that we will have with us always! The view in incredible, although not quite sunset view. Excellent service. Nice menu for breakfast and great restaurant for dinner.

Too many stairs

Setting was spectacular, despite looking at large ships it still was amazing spot to be.

Pool was a bit small but considering where it was located that’s understandable. Would be tough navigating for older people with the steps

Katikies Chromata Santorini is a great place to stay on the island. Walkable distance to the town. highly recommended.

This was not of the standard of leading hotels. The paint on the walls was cracked; the shower floor needed work; the water pressure needs work. . The room was well kept; the breakfast was very good. The steps were problematic-not the number but the steepness and unevenness made going from one level to another very difficult

View was great

It lacked a 5 star feel from the amenities to the towels to the staff cleaning . The towels were yellowish ( I know there are water issues in Santorini ) but it didn’t feel nice using a yellowish towel that was money to be white.

The "view" was like no other. But what truly set the property "apart" from other destinations was the AMAZING staff led by Georgia Kosmadaki. They simply were warm, inviting, and made us feel like we were returning home to our "long, lost, family". Just an amazing OVER THE TOP experience.

I travel the world with my family, usually to the tops hotels as possible. I have never being treated as good as royalty before. Top top top customer service. The staff from the reception, de concierge, the bellboys etc are like far far trained and has a great customer service vocation. Impressive stat. The rooms are huge and seems like new, the smell of the rooms is great. The only thing I’ll rate around 7/10 is the food and the speed of service in the restaurant maybe 7/10. That’s the only thing I didn’t love. Thanks for a wonderful vacation memories you helped to experience.

Incredible view. Comfortable room. Service was a bit spotty. Concierge was only helpful to book dinner at hotel or sister hotel, and hotel packaged tours with huge markup on transportation. Food is good nothing special except the price.

Best hotel, best view, best service

This review is actually for Katikies Santorini in Oia where we were switched to by the Katikies group because of some unfinished renovations at the Chromata hotel. Because of the change our room was upgraded to Superior accommodation free of charge! Our stay was between May 3-10 to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and all I can say is that the experience was amazing! The hotel was immaculate. We had our own private terrace with easy chairs and umbrella. Our room and the hotel itself was very clean and the staff totally attentive to our needs. The views from our room were breathtaking and we ate the varied and delicious 5-star quality breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea and islands. The hotel added so many nice touches to our stay. On arrival we found a bottle of wine and treats in our room. It was Greek Orthodox Easter so we also received an Easter basket with goodies. The hotel is situated at the start of the pedestrian-only road where the shops and excellent restaurants are located so everything was within walking distance. Despite being in the town center the hotel was very quiet (there were many tourists and cruise ship visitors but apparently not as many as in the peak summer season). During our stay we visited Fira (a 20 min, 4 EUR return trip) which has a great museum; took a sunset boat trip around the island and made the must-do 10 km hike along the coast between Oia and Fira. The sunsets were spectacular. Our best vacation experience!

This property is absolutely stunning. Perfectly located in town with easy access to cars for excursions, restaurants, shopping, etc. Sofia was wonderful and incredibly accommodating for our 4 nights stay. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with warmth and great details about the property. Highly recommend!

The location and view are amazing. The entire staff was outstanding. We were upgraded to the 'Honeymoon Suite' which was great. It's pricey but worth the splurge!

The property emerges from the side of the hills of Santoríni, gleaming like a white gem. It’s perched high above the sea and there are breathtaking views from every inch of the property.

Chromata is the TOP boutique hotel on the island. Incredible facility, cliffside pool overlooking cruise ship bay, outstanding staff, concierge services and dining options. Worth the investment. Great location and fast airport transport. Highly recommend!

The Katiklies is a classic Santorini hotel, nestled into the cliffs with a panoramic view of the bay. The staff were brilliant and we had an amazing time.

Pool was small and the beds around the pool were too close together. Also the pool was too deep at the end with the view.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Katikies, we would not hesitate to recommend to friends and would stay there again. The location, staff, facilities, the view was off the planet! The beds and suite were superb, spacious, especially the very large walk in wardrobe, sooo much space for our 4 night stay.

Everything was perfect.

A beautiful oasis of calm in a sea of people. Imerovigli is an amazing area to stay in Santorini, and the Katikies Chromata is absolutely perfect. The view is take your breath away, the rooms perfect, the staff very helpful, the restaurant spectacular. We left early mornings to explore and discover Santorini in peace and cool, returning to the hotel for the heat of the day to relax and enjoy the hotel’s gorgeous amenities. The place is as close to perfection as you can get.
