Sehr nettes, engagiertes und motiviertes Personal. Super Lage, es ist nicht weit nach Fira und daneben sind viele Märkte und Restaurants zu finden. Gute Ausstattung und Super Frühstück.

Leider bekommt man nicht den Ausblick den die Bilder versprechen.

El televisor no era smart era un tv de 40 pulgadas normal y normal con idioma griego Emm como que no . La vista eran unos cables y nosotros queríamos vista a la caldera entiendo que esta la maltese state y la maltese pero sin embargo nos cobraban 400 € mas por la estancia en una habitación mas pésima que la que nos dieron con vista a los cables y a la nada . Deberían mejorar y no cobrar absolutamente nada por ese cambio por una habitacion sin jacuzzi y sin piscina. Tambien cobraron impuestos como 5 estrellas por un hotel que la verdad daba para 3 máximo 4 estrellas

Закуската е доста ограничена, за 5* хотел не отговаря... Ако не се очаква гледка към морето и белите къщи е ок...

Lovely location, our room was sea view which made our trip so wholesome.

La ubicación era perfecta y todo es muy bonito y tranquilo, no se escucha nada. La dueña era un encanto, lo solucionan todo al momento y esta siempre predispuesta a ayudarte con cualquier cosa, sin duda ella lo mejor del alojamiento.

Stanza molto grande e ben tenuta, in una posizione comoda per girare a piedi imerovigli, anche la Pulizia ottima. Staff disponibile e cordiale. Piscina a sfioro bellissima anche se non aveva una vista su nulla.

The view was amazing

Great place! The room was spacious and comfortable enjoying a balcony with a stunning view over the sea. It is also located in the best neighborhood in Santorini, which is elegant, not too crowded and enjoys beautiful views. At walking distance, you can find everything - bus stop, supermarket, scooter rental, great gyros, and good and unpretentious restaurants. Bonus point for Dora, lovely vibes and warm Greek hospitality! We loved it!

Absolutely wonderful stay! The apartment was spotlessly clean, beautifully elegant, and very well maintained. The jacuzzi was cleaned every single day, which was such a lovely touch and made the whole experience even more relaxing. The staff were absolutely wonderful — kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. A special mention goes to Dora, the owner, who was incredibly helpful, friendly, and genuinely lovely. She made us feel at home from the very beginning! We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommended — we would absolutely come back!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt. Die Lage des Hotels mit der Caldera View ist einfach traumhaft. Besonders der Whirlpool war ein Highlight – angenehm warm, mit einem wunderschönen Blick auf Oia, und er wurde täglich gereinigt. Ein grosses Dankeschön an Dora für den herzlichen Empfang. Sie hat uns viele tolle Tipps und Empfehlungen für Santorini gegeben. Auch die beiden anderen Mitarbeitenden waren unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Man hat sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen gefühlt Wir können dieses Hotel nur weiterempfehlen.

Was uns weniger gefallen hat: Das Frühstück könnte etwas kreativer gestaltet werden, denn das Auge isst mit. Ein schöner angerichtetes Buffet oder ein Self-Service-Bereich wäre eine Verbesserung. Die Dusche im zweiten Stock war leider defekt, aber wir konnten problemlos die Dusche unten benutzen. Ausserdem war die Luftfeuchtigkeit in der Unterkunft sehr hoch.

Πανέμορφη μονάδα, μεγάλα φωτεινά, καθαρά δωμάτια απολαυστικό μπάνιο, πολύ βολικά κρεβάτια. Γενικά βρήκαμε με το παραπάνω, όλες τις ανέσεις, την εξυπηρέτηση και τη πολυτέλεια που περιμέναμε για τη τετραήμερη διαμονή μας στο πανέμορφο Ημεροβίγλι. Σε κεντρικό σημείο δίπλα από τα μαγευτικά σοκάκια με θέα τη καλντέρα. Η πισίνα εξαιρετική.

We stayed at Maltese Estate for three nights and everything has been perfect! The staff was very kind. In particular, Dora made our stay especially enjoyable, helping us plan our time in the best possible way and making sure we had a wonderful experience during our stay. The view on Santorini was magic. We really appreciated this accomodation and stay in Imerovigli.

Location

No hot water. In the two bedroom suite only one air con and both rooms didn’t have a door so not fully private.

Koselig og rent dobbeltrom med egen terrasse. Fint basseng som vi stort sett hadde for oss selv. Hyggelig personale. Fin utsikt mot en kirke, men østvend og med soloppgang. Hotellet ligger noen hundre meter bort fra de hvite murhusene som klatrer i fjellet. Vi gikk en nydelig fottur til Oia.

Det var ikke noe vi mislikte.

The room and the view is breathtaking literally, it has been unforgettable I would definitely come back again, also, Susana from breakfast was amazing, everything clean and delicious, so sweet and amazing service.

To take the breakfast you must walking to central building about 3 minutes. For bathroom you must waiting for about 5 minutes to have hot water.

the room was very nice and spacious and the host was very helpful, the location was great and the breakfast was also nice.

Our bathroom didnt have hot water which was a bummer, they said their geysers are solar powered so we tried in the morning and still it was only cold water. after which they said they'll call a plumber but we checked out so didnt matter to us.

De service van het personeel. In onze geboekte kamer deed de airco het niet. Kregen voor de hele periode gratis upgrade naar de seaview suite.

Het bed was wat hard.

Staff accogliente e collaborativo, camera grande e funzionale, struttura comoda e piscina godibile, spazi comuni godibili e addirittura due terrazzi nella nostra camera.

In effetti praticamente da nessuna camera di questa struttura c'è una vista sulla caldera, si vedono alcuni piccoli scorci di mare ma solo sull'altro lato dell'isola, avremmo voluto la pulizia della camera una volta in più, abbiamo messo il cartello, ma non sono venuti, poco male comunque. Nella nostra camera le porte interne erano alte al massino 170 cm e in una delle 2 camere non c'era proprio la porta.

Το δωμάτιο ήταν άνετο και καθαρό. Το προσωπικό ήταν ευγενέστατο και πολύ πρόθυμο. Η τοποθεσία είναι σε πολύ ωραίο σημείο του νησιού.

Un lugar hermoso, con todas las comodidades que buscábamos, para una estancia ideal. Una mención especial para Ardit! Súper atento, y siempre dispuesto con sus consejos y atención para que nuestra estadía fuera maravillosa! Chambres situées à distance de l’accueil et de l’hôtel principal - sans aucune précision sur le site de réservation. Certaines prestations désuètes (luminaires défectueux, pression et température de l’eau de la douche, déjeuner). Manque de précision dans la présentation de l’hôtel et des chambres (chambres non fermées dans la master suite par exemple).

The room was very spacious and had a beautiful layout. We were three girls and there was so much space to get ready and lounge. Our room also included a private hot tub which was an amazing addition. We weren’t able to use it since it was so windy while we were there but it would’ve been great. The hospitality was amazing! The owner was very accommodating and super helpful.

The location was perfect - short walk to shops, restaurants, caldera view, but still felt very private, esp the pool area. Lovely walk into Fira and to Oia (2.5hrs approx) with stunning views all the way. Breakfast was great with good selection - Greek yoghurt, honey, fresh fruit, cereals, toast, breads, eggs. Ardit, the hotel manager was 5*, always on hand if needed, suggesting places to go and recommending restaurants.

Nothing. The two bedroom suite was ideal for our group of four, but you have to walk through a bedroom to get to the other, and lack of privacy in the bathroom area may be an issue for some.

The rooms and interior amazing

No milk provided - had to buy our own milk for coffee and tea I was charged extra 45 euros - unknown tax upon check in. I am still waiting for a refund for this unknown charge. Break fast here is terrible. We were just served couple bread slices and jams. We have requested an omelette and then they have served us. Really disappointed. It’s terrible compared to full breakfast included places in Santorini we had stayed.

Suzana l'employée de l'hôtel est une femme formidable qui est au petits soins pour les clients. Elle se soucie de notre confort et est très attentionnée.

Le manque de sérieux de la part du manager : nous lui avons signalé dès le début de notre séjour que nous n'avions pas d’eau chaude dans notre chambre, et sommes restés 3 jours dans cet inconfort. De plus, il devait nous donner une réponse pour une excursion que nous voulions faire mais nous avons terminé notre séjour sans qu'il nous ait recontacté.

The view was amazing. While I enjoyed the music from nearby restaurants I could see it not being to other people’s liking or even disruptive if you go to bed early. The condition of the room was decent, but the TV didn’t function, and the WiFi was spotty. Also, be aware that the shower water takes several minutes to warmup.

The thing we liked the most was the view from our room of the caldera – it’s something truly beautiful. On top of that, the jacuzzi, which is heated and has its water changed, and the beautiful apartment itself.

Things that definitely need improvement are the lack of quick responses to messages – no one even told us the breakfast times or the WiFi password. We only found out from other guests, as there was no one at the reception the entire time.

There was mold on the couches chairs, the window was broken so water was leaking theough, trash found in the couch (tampon), apparent mold on ironing board, sheets were dirty

Availability and flexibility of the staff to accommodate guests needs. Room was spacious, clean & comfortable. Breakfast is not buffet, but still very good quality. The best part was my bedroom terrace, which had a espectacular view over the caldera - I don't think I could have asked for a better view.

My TV had no signal during the whole stay, luckily was able to connect to internet and use online streaming. Shower water system is a bit slow on heating up - had to run the water way earlier before starting to shower to get hot water, which is a big waste. Some lights and electrical plugs in the room would not work.

The place is clean, quiet, and well-kept. Alex is very nice and helpful, and the staff are kind too. The location is decent – there’s a bus running about every 30 minutes in the summer that takes you to Fira, and from there you can go anywhere on the island. We didn’t have a sea view (not sure if some rooms do), but if you can, I recommend booking one – it would make the stay even more special, especially for the sunset. A couple of small drawbacks: you’ll need some luck to get a steam iron, so it would be better if each room had its own. Also, I’d suggest the hotel refills water bottles daily after room service – it’s inexpensive, and for a 5-day stay it would only cost around €10 total (even less if bought in bulk). Overall, a pleasant stay with friendly staff and a quiet atmosphere – just a few small improvements could make it perfect.

The rooftop wading pool was a real highlight. It’s not big enough for swimming, but perfect for a quick dip between lunch and drinks. Tables were free to use, while loungers (€20 minimum spend for two with an umbrella) and cabanas (€40, which easily covered lunch and a couple of drinks) were well worth it. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, breakfast had plenty of variety, and the location was excellent — just a 10-minute walk to the metro, with a direct line to the airport and easy access to the Acropolis and Ermou Street, only three stops (about 10 minutes) away.

Vorsicht – absolut enttäuschend! Keine 5 Sterne wert Wir haben dieses Hotel auf Santorini gebucht, weil es laut Beschreibung ein 5-Sterne-Haus sein soll. Die Bilder auf Booking sahen traumhaft aus – in Wirklichkeit war unser Aufenthalt leider eine riesige Enttäuschung. Whirlpool gebucht – aber nie nutzbar Wir haben extra ein Zimmer mit privatem Whirlpool gebucht und dafür deutlich mehr bezahlt. Als wir ankamen und nach der Bedienung fragten, meinte der Hotelmanager zuerst, es sei gar kein Whirlpool – nachdem ich meine Buchung zeigte, hieß es dann plötzlich doch, ja, sei einer. Aber: Das Wasser wurde an keinem einzigen Tag warm, obwohl ich mehrfach nachfragte. Immer hieß es nur: „Ich mach das gleich warm.“ – aber es passierte nie etwas. Das heißt: Wir haben für ein Extra bezahlt, das wir nicht ein einziges Mal nutzen konnten. Das Bett ist 160x180 kein kein grosses französisches doppelbett wie angegeben Frühstück – sehr enttäuschend Das Frühstück bestand aus kalten Eiern vom Vortag du kriegst das nichtmal für 5€ ausserhalb. Kein Gemüse, kein Buffet, keine Karte, kein Service. Man musste alles selbst nachfragen, von alleine kam niemand. Für ein 5-Sterne-Hotel ist das wirklich enttäuschend. Vertraut "Alex" nicht Aussicht komplett anders als auf den Bildern Online sieht man tolle Bilder vom Meer, vom Infinity-Pool, von idyllischer Atmosphäre. In der Realität: Man blickt auf einen riesigen Elektrizitätsmast. Jeden Morgen kam ein lauter Wasser-LKW, der stundenlang Lärm machte – Erholung? Keine Chance. Kein Personal – kein Service – niemand da Das Hotel wirkt fast wie leer. Es gibt keine Mitarbeiter, besonders abends ist niemand vor Ort. Es gibt keine Rezeption, niemanden, der hilft. Das Gepäck mussten wir komplett selbst tragen, trotz der Anlage mit vielen Stufen. Für ein 5-Sterne-Hotel absolut unverständlich. Tipp an alle: Schaut euch auch die Google-Bewertungen an!

Very poor in all aspects. Completely deceiving over what was actually provided in comparison to the images ans online description prior to booking. Really we should be compensated.

We loved staying at La Maltese. We had a room on the Caldera side with a view that was breathtaking. Our room had private terraces and a private pool. We loved it there and ended up spending a lot of time in our room which felt more like a townhouse. For what we say, staying on the other side of the property was probably a very different experience. If we were to go back we would book exactly the same room. Alex the property concierge was wonderful!

We booked 2 rooms for 6 people. My husband and I, plus our 4 children. This was clear in our booking details. There were no beds set up for 2 of our children. No pillows, sheets or blankets. They had to sleep with towels we brought from our cruise ship. When we arrived after dinner, there was no one to be found at the hotel. No one answered the phones or responded to our urgent messages. Absolutely unacceptable.

Unfortunately, what we experienced was far from what was advertised. The hotel does not match the photos shown online, and the swimming pool is located far from our room, which was not mentioned beforehand. Breakfast was especially disappointing. Yesterday, only two plates with eggs were brought for four people. There were no individual servings, and no proper explanation was given. We assumed everyone would get their own plate, but we were wrong—two of us were left without food. Additionally, the room only has one shower, even though it was supposed to accommodate two couples. We were expecting separate shower areas or at least better arrangements for sharing. Overall, we are very unhappy with the service and feel that it does not meet the standards promised during booking.

We booked a Senior Suite sleeping four persons on two double beds, on two levels, two adults and two children 12 and 15, in end July. Our stay was wonderful. The view is incredible, sunset is amazing from the balcony, the suite is spacious and the hotel manager was extremely helpful in everything. The pool is 2 mins walk from the suite and it feels like a private pool. The vfm is very good, given the fact that prices overall in Imerovigli are upscale and alternative similar places at this location were generally costlier. There are several food alternatives within walking distance, from on the go snack food to Michelin restaurant. The hotel is 10 mind drive from Fyra (capital), and 20 mins drive from Oia. All major beaches of the island@ 20-30 mins drive max. Great place to stay for family of 4 with two teenage children, if the regular special offers by the hotel are considered. Breakfast was fair too and in a pleasant space. Thank you and would definitely return!!

It was v.good VFM through special offer. Only TV channels should be tuned but why watch TV on. Santorini?

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel! From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional especially from the receptionist, Alex, who was absolutely amazing. Alex went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and always greeting us with a warm smile. The hotel facilities were also top-notch. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable, and the amenities from the pool and jacuzzi to other areas were excellent. Everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully designed. All in all, a fantastic experience. A huge thank you to Alex for the outstanding hospitality—we’ll definitely be returning!

The breakfast was good but could have been better if some fresh fruits were offered. The beds were nice. The dehumidifier in the interior room was a great facility in cave room environments.

TV not working and unable to fix , No kettle until checking . Ground floor Toilets too dark. The water in the Hot Tub was dirty and moldy.

Stayed overnight to continue on to the airport for return home! Although stay was quite abbreviated, I would return in a heartbeat.

The design inside the rooms was nice.

Misleading. There are two locations. They share the photos of the one with a view on the Caldera. We arrived and were in a room with no view. The pool area doesn't have enough shade. The breakfast was pitiful. Felt like we got caught in a tourist trap honestly, places like this are what Santorini a one and done. Shout out to the host who was understanding and tried to help with what limited resources he could. Overall there are options at similar price ranges but beware, Santorini is in general a blistering hot Disneyland.

Every day my partner and I would say how lucky we are to have found this place in Santorini, given how much of a trap so many properties can be. Please read the last point!! 1. The location is fantastic as you’re close to walk to some great places to eat and see whilst still being far away enough from the hectic Fira. 2. The property itself is finished to a high quality, and one of the best parts of it is that the pool is hidden from the public eye, which cannot be said about a lot of other places on the island. 3. Last but most importantly - the customer service and communication. Alex and Fay were SO KIND and supportive and communicative from before the trip and during it - they were always on hand to help and always went the extra mile to make sure you had the best stay possible. You always felt so special and treated like family there, and it’s why I’ll wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone thinking of going to Santorini.

Literally the only thing which wasn’t good was the breakfast, but that’s not a reason at all to not book this place as it is still fantastic value for money AND there are great breakfast places nearby!

I did not like many thangs for example, the staff are not cooperative with us, when we ask them to bring something, for example, new towels, shampoo bottles or even tea bags , they did not response at all or they say ( we do not have ), or even if we ask for water bottles, they say that we should pay for water bottle, however, the water should be free .

Stayed for one night. Booked a room with two separate bedrooms - ground floor bedroom was lovely and the lounge area had various seating arrangements. Lovely and clean and staff very friendly. View was amazing.

The upstairs room was very basic and wasn't of the same standard - just a small bed and an en suite toilet - literally just a toilet and sink! Having to walk down the road from our room to go back past reception and to the pool - then having to walk back up hill with a towel around me. Did not like the set up and was very disappointed. The view was great, but overlooked a restsurant as well snd the hot tub was not private. Breakfast was a huge disappointment- toast snd slices of cake. Bar was not open in the evening and was so small, we would not have spent time there anyway. Would not stay again and glad was only for one night!

The rooms, suites, food, service, and ambience were all fantastic. The services provided by the professional management and staff are the main reasons that we keep coming back. The old world elegance is a rare thing, and we value their focus to make sure that everything about the lodging experience is excellent. I highly recomend this hotel.

This accomodation was huge. Two bedrooms + Two bathrooms. Caldera views. Near walking path to Fira 3km to min town. Friendly staff. Provided us a parking space…not sure if that would be available later in the season.

Wifi coverage in bedrooms poor, but good in living room. Note that there is construction on restaurant right above. Not a bother for us but might interrupt sleeping late after 9am. Hot tub is an inflatable. Property is a bit dated.
