We had a wonderful experience at Amsterdam Manor. The location could not have been better for us. The beach was amazing and the water the bluest and so calm for relaxation and beauty. The Sunset views were stunning. We preferred this area over the much busier Palm Beach. We loved our room which was just like a condo. It was super clean and spacious. The front desk staff were so friendly! Jennifer was the sweetest and so HELPFUL! Also Juan was so kind and friendly. The Passion Bar staff that stole our hearts were Jose and Rudimar. They made our week fun and always remembered our names. Mixing up the best cocktails and working so hard. The Horizon Bar had nightly live entertainment with saxophone or steel drum performances that were so soothing and relaxing. We enjoyed listening poolside or on our room porch. We could not have been more pleased with our stay at Amsterdam Manor.

The staff was wonderful and helped me celebrate a birthday by decorating our room. They used cake, balloons, and celebrated in the lobby as well.

We have stayed four times at the Manor. We feel it the best hotel for money. Eagle Beach is significantly less crowded than the high rise section and that is why we keeping coming back to the Manor. The staff is exceptional, but laid back and not in your face. The location is prime! It's the perfect nervous system reset!!

Our stay was lovely, big room full of comforts. Very appreciated the front desk service, while beach service and breakfast at Passion Could have been better.

The location was beautiful, right on Eagle Beach. The view from our room was incredible. We went for our wedding night and had an amazing time. The hotel even upgraded our room. Our room was stocked with everything we could have needed. It was practically brand new, recently remodeled. We will definitely be back.

We loved our stay at Amsterdam Manor. The resort was perfect. Our room was very clean and ready for us and the beautiful beach is just across the street. The best part was the staff. From checking until checkout not only were they friendly and efficient but treated us like family.

The room is exactly as shown in the photos. The staff are very friendly, and in fact, all the people in Aruba are very welcoming. The beach is beautiful, calm, crystal clear, and the water is wonderfully warm. 🌴☀️🌊 Excellent breakfast with a wide variety of options to choose from on the menu. The service is very pleasant and attentive, and having breakfast right in front of the sea makes the experience even more special and enjoyable. 🌊☕🍍✨

The only point worth mentioning is that, because the hotel offers a sunset dinner experience for guests who choose to pay for it, they ask guests to leave the beach loungers quite early. By around 4:30 p.m., the loungers are no longer available. This may affect guests who do not wish to participate in the dinner but would still like to relax on the beach and enjoy the sunset comfortably. 🌅🏖️

The two bedroom suite was wonderful. The balcony overlooked the beach and ocean. It was quiet, roomy, very clean, allowed us to fix breakfast in every morning. The housekeeping staff was kind and responsive to any need. The decor was "beachy" and not fussy. Good for adults and kids. Bathrooms were lovely. Kitchen had everything we needed.

The hotel Amsterdam manor beach resort was amazing the staff incredible. Rooms were perfect. Only draw back is cab rides varied in prices and can get to be too much. Not a lot of food choices in hotel and only passions was related to them and the birds were bad and wait staff miserable

Stayed with family a week in July 2026. Very clean hotel. Staff was very attentive. Nice location as it’s the beginning of Eagle Beach. Comfortable rooms including air and bed/pillows. No issues getting a free front row/ ocean front palapa. Yes, sometimes a very faint oder when we were there but basically unnoticed if you weren’t looking for it. Their restaurant Passions on the Beach may include an oder while eating. We didn’t eat there but we have friends who did and said the oder did diminish their eating experience. The beach bar and bar above the pool is relatively expensive with extremely limited specials and happy hours. We would definitely stay here again but limit our food and drink consumption there!

The team was very welcoming and the room view from the balcony was amazing. The property was well maintained and the location was a plus with the palapas on the beach reserved for the guests. We rented a car but we preferred to stay at the resort beach to enjoy our trip as it was the nicest beach on the island. Only a few trips to Palm beach to enjoy the nightlife.

This resort is perfect! Located on beautiful Eagle Beach. The rooms are lovely, staff friendly and accommodating. Everything absolutely wonderful!

I recently stayed at Amsterdam Manor Aruba, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The resort is beautiful, clean, and perfectly located right across from Eagle Beach. The rooms were comfortable, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the staff made us feel welcome throughout our stay. A special thank you to Marvin, who went above and beyond to make our time by the water even more enjoyable. His friendly attitude, excellent service, and attention to detail really stood out and made a lasting impression. I highly recommend Amsterdam Manor Aruba to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation with outstanding hospitality. I can't wait to come back!

O hotel é muito bom e os funcionários são amáveis e muito solícitos! Quando fizemos a reserva, pedimos um berço para o nosso bebê. Mas chegando ao hotel, entendemos que um colchão na lateral da cama seria melhor. Eles disponibilizaram imediatamente as duas opções para que escolhêssemos. Ter o restaurante na praia é um facilitador. Além dos custos irem direto para a conta do quarto, os atendentes são ótimos e a comida muito boa! Ter café da manhã, almoço e jantar deliciosos, a alguns passos, pé na areia e com uma vista linda é sensacional. Contar com a estrutura de cadeiras e guarda sois na praia também é um conforto, além da própria estrutura do hotel, com piscina, quartos amplos, limpos e confortáveis. Recomendo, ainda, a eagle beach. É mais tranquila, mais familiar, bem diferente da palm beach, onde estão os grandes resorts.

Em uma das janelas do nosso quarto não havia o blackout completo, então o quarto não ficava completamente escuro. Pedimos ajuda ao hotel, eles foram super solícitos, mas não conseguiram consertar! Gostamos do quarto bem escuro, mas ainda assim essa questão não atrapalhou nossa hospedagem, que foi sensacional.

Pobyt rozpoczął się mało przyjemnie. Na pokój trzeba było czekać do godziny 16:00, a jeszcze 5 minut wcześniej recepcja zapewniała, że za chwilę będzie gotowy. O 16:00 okazało się jednak, że zarezerwowanego pokoju nie ma, ponieważ został wyprzedany. Zaczęto proponować tańszy pokój z lunchem, ale ostatecznie – ponieważ następnego dnia wcześnie wyjeżdżałam – otrzymałam apartament. Samo rozwiązanie problemu oceniam bardzo dobrze, jednak zajęło to około 25 minut. Po długim locie i całym dniu spędzonym na plaży marzyłam już tylko o prysznicu i odpoczynku, a nie o wyjaśnianiu pomyłki z rezerwacją. Posiłki w barze na plaży nie były dla nas komfortowe – silny wiatr, ptaki i mrówki, a moje dziecko bało się. Dodatkowo czas oczekiwania na posiłki był dość długi. Minusem jest również powszechne rezerwowanie leżaków na plaży od samego rana, które później kilka godzin stoją puste, a obsługa hotelu w ogóle na to nie reaguje, przez co innym gościom trudno znaleźć wolne miejsce. Jak na cenę hotelu, stosunek jakości do ceny wypada przeciętnie.

Location is amazing, right across the street og Eagle beach, great food and service, Patrick and Jennifer at the front desk, super nice and helpful.

Love the closeness to the beach. The ease of restaurants around you. The staff. The room was great too. If you don’t want the crazy noise of the town next door; stay here. It was also great because a huge grocery store is next to it (fairly close) which makes it very convenient if you want to cook or have snacks in your room. Highly recommend!

Amsterdam Manor Resort is the best kept secret in Aruba. Located in Eagle Beach, the location is right in the middle of everything but far enough away that you avoid the late night crowd of palm beach. The hotel is very family friendly, the beach is perfect. The staff is friendly and accommodating. This is our second stay at the Amsterdam Manor and we plan to return again. Juan Carlos the manager is a great person and assisted us on rescheduling our stay this year due to the TSA issues. Amazing customer service.

The Amsterdam was everything my wife and I hoped for. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Throughout our stay, room service consistently kept our room clean and asked if we needed anything. The service at the beach restaurant was great, too.

We have been to this hotel 4 times out of 7 times to Aruba. We love this small hotel, it became our favorite home away from home. It has everything we personally need : on the Eagle Beach, very close to the beach, clean rooms with comfortable beds,clean and good quality towels, nice kitchenette, well stocked. Great shower and quality shampoos. Also plenty of shade on the beach. Great restaurant, great lounge bar. Wonderful staff. Two points could be improved. 1. Check in should be at least at 3:00 pm. Most of us come to Aruba for the beach. 2. All outdoor furniture, tables , chairs and the beach chairs could use a good power washing . Otherwise we love this hotel and enjoy our stays here.

Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort - The only review you need to read. Bottom line - this hotel is great a we definitely will stay here again. I really hate to deduct 1 star but I consider it as a "message" to management so they can fix the problem (air condition, see far below). When reading reviews before booking I found only 2 negatives: 1. no direct beach access, 2. smell of waste water treatment facility located near by. Yes, both are true, but totally insignificant. 1. Yes, you have to cross the road to get to the beach, but the road is narrow and traffic is very light and distance from hotel to beach is only about 2 minutes - so this is no issue. 2. The smell - yes there is a smell sometimes (2-3 times per day, but not every day, lasts only maybe 30 minutes, not on the beach only around hotel) - the smell is not pleasant but also not terrible. It is not "fecal odor" type but rather "fermenting odor" (like when you are passing beer brewery) and because there is a constant breeze or wind it is bearable - so this is no issue. Now the good things: hotel is well equipped, clean, employees at reception are efficient and pleasant (we needed a rental car, they arranged for one within minutes and car rental picked us up). Buildings are 1 story so no need to ride elevators, there are no crowds, no rowdy teenagers - simply you feel like you came to visit your favored relatives for holidays. There is a bus stop up front of hotel if you don't have a car. The best feature of this hotel is that everything runs smoothly and efficiently so you are not distracted from your main "job" - to have a pleasant and relaxing vacation. Beach is clean, water turquoise without any sea weeds, free beach chairs and palapas (fyi 2 chairs with umbrella for non-hotel guests cost $40). There is Super Food Plaza supermarket near by, about 8 minutes walk and it is an experience, especially for Americans. It is like being in Holland, food tastes awesome (because is not loaded with chemicals). It is handy to have a car so you can buy heavy items (liquids -:). We did not try hotel restaurants (reviews were mediocre), we rented a car and explored many great restaurants (based on my research before trip). And last but not least - price of this hotel is reasonable (comparing to high rise hotels at Palm Beach). On the other hand, if you are young, single and want to mingle you should choose Palm Beach, there is a lot of "action". Now, the air condition problem. There were 3 AC units in our apartment (LR, BR and Kitchen). LR and Kitchen units operated smoothly and were easy to set up or shut off. Unit in BR did not work for 8 nights. I don't know why, we did not try to start it because it was perfect for us - we can't sleep when AC is directly blowing cold air on us. We managed temperature in BR by keeping door opened and using units in LR or Kitchen. Then suddenly on our last night (June 5th) the BR unit was on and couldn't be shut off - message "centrally controlled" appeared on display when we tried to shut it off. We contacted front desk, technician came to check it up and he also was not able to shut it off. He said it must be corrected in central hotel computer but it was already too late (around 10 pm) so it could be done only next day. Believe it or not we ended up moving our beds to LR where AC could be shut off.

La comodidad del apartments two bedrooms, La limpieza, el equipamiento, el aire acondicionado, buenas amenities, el estacionamiento, que las reposeras y sombrillas son free, había leído en otros comentarios que había mal olor, pero no fue así en ninguno de los seis días que estuvimos alojados, si lo sentí en otros lugares de la isla.

Que las ventanas son tan chicas y los balcones tan cerrados con paredes y columnas, que tapan toda la vista al mar a pesar de haber estado en una habitación muy bien ubicada frente al océano, en los cuartos, las paredes que dan al mar tienen ubicados los placards en lugar de ventanas. Tampoco me gustó que a las 3 de la tarde comienzan a armar las mesas para el restaurant de playa y cuando estás cómodamente mirando el mar, vienen y te tapan toda la vista, si lo que quieres disfrutar es una bella vista al agua, no lo recomiendo

A localização é excelente: ponto de ônibus em frente, custo de U$2,60 por trajeto .Não usamos o café-da-manhã no hotel, preferimos comprar nossos mantimentos no mercado próximo (SUPER FOOD) , íamos a pé, e preparar nosso café no quarto, que dispõe de todos os utensílios (fogão, geladeira, microondas, pratos, talheres, etc...). A praia , eagle beach, é a melhor e mais bonita de Aruba e basta atravessar a rua que já se está na areia e pode-se ocupar, gratuitamente, as barracas de propriedade do hotel, com espreguiçadeiras e toalhas à disposição dos hóspedes. Espetacular!

Nada teria sido melhor que o atendimento na recepção, principalmente pelo profissionalismo dos funcionários Julio e Jennifer, que esbanjam simpatia e alegria no tratamento dispensado aos hóspedes. A nota 10 para eles é pouco!

Loved the whole stay in here. Perfect Location. Can't say enough about the staff, super friendly and helpful. Rooms are great and very clean. Super nice and quite location. Only 6 minutes walk to the supermarket. Short Taxi ride to all restaurants and bars if you choose not to eat at the hotel. We tried both restaurants and both were amazing.

If you want a relaxing and wonderful experience in Aruba come stay at Amsterdam Manor! This is our 3rd trip to Aruba and our 1st at Amsterdam. We will keep coming back here again and again. Location is ideal. It is right across from Eagle Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Aruba. This hotel is so beautiful, clean, well maintained. The rooms are trendy, modern and the bed was one of the comfiest. If you want a relaxing Aruba vacation this is the place to stay. It is quiet and calm. The staff was extremely kind, friendly, helpful, and just genuine good people who care. Special shoutout to Jennifer, Senior front desk officer, Diego, Jarod, and Lito, waiters and bartenders at Horizons, and Derlis in housekeeping who were exceptional and made our stay even better. The hotel also has 2 restaurants. Passions on the beach, which has delicious food with big portions and gorgeous sunset views and Horizons Lounge, which has amazing drinks and food as well. The bus stop is also right next to the hotel making it very convenient for exploring other parts of the island. I highly recommend Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort for it’s amazing value!

It is very unique with the covered balcony overlooking the sea and the breathe and the chaise on the balcony for naps. The view is beautiful, the roofs are so romantic.

I've been coming here in spurts over 17 years and I'm never disappointed. I love the entire experience. The staff, the location, the hospitality it really is one happy island.

Just made reservations for our trip in January 2027. So far very happy we made our reservation at the Amsterdam Manor Beach. They have been very helpful and communicated quickly when asked. We are pleased with there quick assistance and positive service we have received during the reservation process.

El hotel es excelente. Queda al frente de una de las mejores playas de Aruba. Tienen un restaurante en la playa para desayunar y almorzar. Hay un supermercado grandísimo y en la habitación se puede cocinar.

Perfect accommodations for couples. The rooms were quiet, spacious, and clean, with great amenities. We booked a one-bedroom suite away from the pool area, which gave us a partial ocean view and a beautiful sunset. Some of the rooms do have obstructed views, so that is something to keep in mind. The beach was pristine, and the service was excellent. The only downside was that around 3:30, they began setting up the restaurant on the beach—which was amazing, by the way—and we had to move our chairs. A full-length mirror in the room would have been a nice bonus as well, but overall, it was a great trip and I would definitely recommend it.

Always return to this charming resort, love the staff, food and beach. Dined 3 nights in a row at Horizons" Friday night fajitas all you can eat w/tasty beef/chix fajitas- so tender & margaritas, Saturday night sushi Horizon rolls, kani salad and edanome, Sunday ribs and a Manhattan. Ayline took great care of us with impeccable service. Our dining experiences were enhanced by local talented musicians.

La parada del bus en la puerta para ir a Palm beach por 2,5 de dólar. Te dejan toallas limpias para la playa todos los días. Es silencioso para descansar. Volveremos.

Nada. Solo por decir algo cuando hicimos el check out nos llamaron un taxi que nos cobró 43 al aeropuerto cuando habíamos pagado 32 al llegar y era un vehículo muy deteriorado, la próxima lo reservo como siempre por Booking que lo pago anticipado más económico y me mandan autos en buen estado.

Clean, staff and close to the beach

Tremendous odor coming from the sewage plant ! Had a suite overlooking the pool and ocean that we couldn’t even enjoy..

The location was perfect; the sunsets were beautiful. But the staff was what made our stay memorable! The location, on the edge of the developed strip of beach, was just right for us. It was less crowded and hectic than further south along the beach where the casino and high-rise hotels were. The architecture was reminiscent of colonial Netherlands.

Staying here and renting a car was perfect. Think what you want but it is worth the extra you pay for the convenience and location for this resort. One minute walk from room to water. You are basically on the upper end of the beach so there is little foot traffic and the dedicated umbrellas and lounges are the best. Sunset dinner is worth it too.

Situation

Service of one restaurant very poor and unfriendly

Our room was excellent, very modern and beautifully maintained, the kitchenette was modern, well appointed updated with modern appliances and utensils. Everything we needed! This boutique resort was just what we were hoping for. Not a big resort, quiet the week we were there and a gorgeous beach literally just steps away. We beached in the AM and enjoyed the pool in the afternoons. The food and drinks at Passions and Horizons were excellent we ate most of our meals there. We visited some of the other resorts while we were there and were thrilled we selected the Amsterdam. We’ll definitely be back !

This was my second stay at Amsterdam Manor. 10 years ago I decided to try a boutique hotel instead of a high rise. This was not a disappointment. The Amsterdam is beautifully located across from the gorgeous Eagle Beach. The rooms were clean and comfortable with well equipped kitchenettes. My second stay was in February 2026 when an unexpected blizzard struck New England. All flights were canceled. It took days to book a flight home. The staff at the Amsterdam were so accommodating and helpful in finding us additional accommodations when they were already fully booked for the weekend. They could have over charged us like the airlines did. Instead, the found us a premium suite. You can tell this is a family owned business ready to go the extra mile and offer personalized serve to their guests. It's the only place I will stay in Aruba! I’ve visited Aruba about 3x before, but it was about 18 years ago and traveled with my mother. This time around, my partner had won the Price is Right and we were able to go on this vacation while our budget is small, so far we’ve had a magical time. Starting with the gentlemen, Bob who got us to our hotel and shared some updates on what’s what since I had some familiarity with the island. Upon arriving, we were welcomed by the friendly staff at the front desk and given some delicious rum cocktails. Bon Bini drinks!! Honne, part of the front desk staff was great! Giving us details and information while checking us in. She gave us a tour of the resort before showing us our room. I never previously stayed here but at other resorts near by. I remember going to Passions for drinks and seeing this hotel but as an adult— I absolutely love the difference here. The resort feels more inviting and intimate- while so vibrant and quaint. The updated studio manor we are staying in so everything and more! The kitchen amenities allow us to walk to the nearby market and save money by cooking in our unit and then going out occasionally. The Horizon, is one of the on-sight restaurants we went to after getting settled in. We ordered the salmon and it’s was mouth watering. Cooked to perfection with a cream sauce and spinach. Let’s just say our plate was cleaned by the time we finished. The crème brûlée was a chefs kiss to our first meal! Then the live music began. Day 2 we hung out by the pool and did some walking later in the evening. Day 3 we did the beach. It’s awesome they provide the chairs and floaters for their guests. The sand is so nice and the water—- see through. The people are so nice here, from the guests to the staff. It’s truly one happy island. We cooked dinner at our room that evening and forgot to get ketchup and mayo, the staff at horizons handed us some bottles that were almost empty and said we could keep them— how thoughtful and kind. It really helped save us some extra money we spent on tomorrow’s excursion to De Palm Island! Highly recommended for a more relaxing time. We’re also located in between downtown and the high rise area so we’re able to walk! Truly thankful for everyone who has made this vacation wonderful.

We give them FIVE STARS on each point! You are family while you are their guest. The food was outstanding, the staff from groundskeeper to upper management are just outstanding. With all the kindness a person just doesn’t want to leave! At some resorts you are bothered by staff to book this or that extra; not the case at Amsterdam Manor. If you would like something extra, all you need to do is ask and your request is handled efficiently with the upmost care.

We tried Amsterdam Manor out for a short stay in Dec. We had always stayed up in the Palm Beach area for many years when we come down to Aruba.we stayed in big hotels with just a room. We LOVED IT here! We came for a week, booked a 1 bedroom suite, like a little apartment. We purchased food for some meals. It was so relaxing. We used both the pool and beach daily. So easy, just cross the street we always got loungers and an umbrella. The beach and water here is perfect. Calm and peaceful. The staff, front desk, housekeepers and bar/ dining are all friendly and helpful. You really feel like you are at your own little place while you are here. Suites outfitted with everything you need. Will definitely be back! Also Eagle beach area is much quieter and less hectic than Palm. You can walk to some dining places from here too.

We were in Aruba for our anniversary. The hotel is on a beautiful beach but without the overcrowding of the high-rise hotels area. We had a rental car and it was easy to get to every place we wanted to visit. The room was spacious and modern. The room has a fridge, coffee maker, microwave, cooktop, and fully stacked with dishes and pots. The balcony was a nice added perk. There's a large supermarket within easy walking distance. We were able to buy fruit and berries to keep in our room and we even had a couple of dinners in the room when we didn't feel like going out. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. From the two onsite restaurants Passions was our favorite, hands down.

Struttura semplicemente meravigliosa, curatissima in ogni dettaglio e dal fascino unico, in perfetto stile coloniale olandese. Il resort è raccolto, elegante e incredibilmente tranquillo: ideale per chi desidera rilassarsi davvero e staccare completamente la spina. La posizione è impagabile, proprio di fronte a Eagle Beach, che a mio parere è la spiaggia più bella dell’isola. Direttamente sulla spiaggia si trova il ristorante Passions on the Beach, dove abbiamo fatto delle colazioni spettacolari, con una vista mare da sogno che da sola vale il soggiorno. A disposizione degli ospiti ci sono lettini e palapas, perfetti per godersi il mare in totale relax e comfort. La nostra camera era spaziosa, pulita e dotata di ogni comfort, incluso un comodissimo angolo cottura: per noi è stata davvero una seconda casa ad Aruba. Un ringraziamento speciale a tutto lo staff, sempre disponibile, gentilissimo e sorridente, capace di farci sentire accolti e coccolati in ogni momento. Un soggiorno che porteremo nel cuore!

The location is great, just north of Eagle Beach, next to the famous fofoti tree. The island is very small, so it's easy to drive around everywhere in a short period of time. It's a quiet hotel. No kids screaming in the pool, no loud music. A 2-story building that makes for an intimate experience We had a 1-bedroom suite with a king-size bed. Our 15-year-old son slept in the main room on a comfortable extra bed. The room was very clean and the housekeeper always replaced our pool towels before we even asked. The staff is so sweet and always happy to help. Whatever you need, you can count on their efficiency. The restaurant is okay. The main highlight is having dinner with your toes in the sand, admiring the sunset with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. If you have the opportunity to take your meals somewhere else, I suggest you do — it's pretty expensive for the quality, IMO. And the cocktails taste more like mocktails. Overall, we had a wonderful time at AMBR and we will definitely come back!!

We had a beautiful room on the second floor. Everything was so clean. The location is perfect. There were always umbrellas and chairs available on the beach. There was never a wait. The beach was amazing! If I go back to Aruba, I will definitely stay here again.
