Finca La Manchuria

Je ne peux que recommander cette établissement. Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour. L'accueil, les services proposés, la restauration,..., tout était Top pour découvrir un lieu fabuleux et riches. Nous avons dormi dans une chambre familiale, au calme. La nature est luxuriante, la piscine est très appréciable, bref, allez découvrir ce lieu et le café qu'il propose.

Les employés sont remarquable attentif et très très gentil María la cuisinière etait magnifique sa cuisine absolument délicieuse Esteban notre hôte était merveilleux et attentionné Notre guide pour le tour de café Diego était parfait il répondait à toutes nos questions Daniella a été au petit soin tout au long de notre séjour

La barrière de la langue il y aurait place à amélioration mis à part Esteban personne ne parle anglais

El precio de la alimentación me pareció muy alto para la calidad de la comida, ya habíamos estado hace unos años y precisamente eso fue lo q me hizo volver porq el precio no importaba por la excelente calidad del menú

La amabilidad de todo el personal, la comida deliciosa, el sitio muy tranquilo con vista a todas las montañas. Es un lugar mágico

Is a beutifull place highly recommended but without Nicolas, Bibiana and the staff make the difference and stand out there wouldn’t be no great place without great people

The mountain view and the architecture. We particularly enjoyed the pool. The food was good enough. The staff was very friendly and nice.

I didn't like the road to the place. It's very narrow and in some parts you could see landslides from the mountains which I suppose happen when it rains. I think it’s a great place for the value. Bring bug repellent and buy water on the way there.

Price and quality relation is not fair, expensive for what it really offers, 5 pm and the staff didn’t have our room ready for check in, food is pricy as well, Farm workers do not understand that they have to be quiet at 6 am, they just don’t care about guests being outside, smoking all over the place and talking loud.

- incredible and friendly staff - café tour is a pleasant learning experience - beautiful surroundings to enjoy nature - good food (especially the desserts) - and of course, good coffee - it would've been a 10/10 score if the negative part did not occur as all the rest was great

- we found two coakroaches in our bedroom. Our room was right in front of the woods, and the door gap with the floor was not covered, so insects could easily enter the room. At least Olga helped us past midnight and changed our room. I understand we can find any types of animals outside, but not inside, as there are ways to avoid insects entering rooms.

Exceptional surroundings and very welcoming staff. The accommodation itself is an old Hacienda that looks as good as they can but with some more modern amenities added to it. Definitely recommend the coffee tour. Exceptional cooking, but do come hungry as the portions are generous!

I loved everything about it! The staff was so nice and caring, always with a smile. The finca is in the middle of nowhere so it’s really peaceful and you only hear the sounds of birds. We also did a horseback ride, followed by a sunset at the top of the world which I highly recommend! I would go back here anytime

Staff was amicable and made their best to meet our needs. The hotel location is really wonderful and worth the trip.

We visited the hotel in off-season. So we basically had the finca to our selves. We did the nice coffee tour with GM Tom as our tour guide and a stunning mountain top sunset picknick (must do)! All staff were very nice and accommodating, but one staff member Luz spoiled us to the max. We called her "Reina de Margarita's" because she made the best cocktails. The location is just awesome with great views from the finca.

The bed was a bit too small for a Caucasian. I had to sleep under an angle to fit inside the mattress.

The service was great, especially Tatiana, she was very friendly, helpful, and always around. It was a safe area and very colorful. They had a lot of tours and activities. The pool was nice and slightly heated. The food was good and they even accommodated me as a vegan.

Maybe a couple of fly traps would help. The tour to Jardin was not available when we stayed unfortunately, because the tour guide was on vacation. There also did seem to be one chef that was better than another so when the first chef left, the quality went down a little. Also, it is very remote, so harder to access. Our 25 person bus could not make it passed a pot hole on the dirt road that leads there. It's best to schedule a pick up from La Manchuria from the main road.

the views are incredible, the look of the place is nice, personal was friendly and helpfull

No screens on the window soo either no light or lots of bugs inside. our bathroom had no air( no window or fan) soo there was already mold forming on the ceiling. The water in the shower did not go down well, 3 times we did not have hot water to shower. You are kind of stuck when it comes to food, soo we took the gourmet deal and the food was very poor( they did discount us for this).Breakfast, lunch and dinner do not have set times soo you are at the whim of the kitchen ( one day we waited on breakfast till 9:30). Also it says you have a choice on breakfast but we where never offered a choice. Plumbing of the room above us ran in tubing trough the top of our room, not in the ceiling but under it soo we had noise whenever someone flushed.
