Everything, staff, comfortable, clean, family oriented, excellent beach, especially liked the quiet pool
Not a dislike but if you want to visit town or city it is a bit far
Прекрасный отель с прекрасным обслуживанием!
Немного создало дискомфорт проведение строительных работ на территории. Но даже организация работ была выполнена так, чтобы максимально не мешать отдыхающим.
Even though the resort is family friendly, it was very easy to forget that. We went as a couple for our honeymoon and felt that we could still relax and enjoy a quiet atmosphere. The way the resort is laid out made it so if you wanted to be around families and kid-friendly activities you could, and if you wanted quiet time, you could as well. At the north pool, Marn, Kai, and Zen made sure our needs were always met, and oftentimes anticipated. They always had fresh towels, were replenishing everyone's water cups, and even moved umbrellas when we wanted a bit more shade without us asking. They truly made the experience very relaxing and comfortable. Sara, Megan, and Aoi in housekeeping were absolutely amazing. They always made our room spotless and noticed our preferences. For example, they saw we used a salt packet so next time they cleaned our room, they left five more salt packets. They left a kind note and had new towel animals for us to find each day. They kept our room and environment clean so we didn't have to do anything. We went to the Andaman Grill for our last night, and enjoyed a dinner looking at the beach. We had mentioned that this dinner was to celebrate our honeymoon, and they made it incredibly special and memorable. Amy, Tukta, and Hut were amazing! Overall, the Marriott Phuket Beach Club was the perfect place for us to spend our honeymoon. The grounds were always beautifully maintained, staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, and the food was delicious. We would absolutely recommend.
My family and I recently spent 5 days and 4 nights at Marriott's Phuket Beach Club, and overall we had a wonderful stay. The resort is beautifully maintained, the beach is stunning, and every staff member we encountered was friendly, pleasant, and always greeted us with a smile. Their hospitality truly made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The room itself was comfortable and clean, although it is starting to look a little dated compared to newer resorts. That said, it did not affect our overall enjoyment of the holiday. One downside is that the resort is located quite a distance from Phuket Old Town and some of the main tourist attractions. However, the convenience of having a 7-Eleven right outside the resort was a huge plus. Turtle Village is also within walking distance and offers a supermarket, restaurants, and various shops. The resort provides a shuttle service between the hotel and Turtle Village every 15 minutes. While this is a thoughtful service, it proved challenging for my elderly mother, who has mobility issues, to board the shuttle truck comfortably. The biggest highlight of our stay was OY from the Concierge Desk. She deserves special recognition for her outstanding service. Not only did she provide us with plenty of helpful advice and support throughout our stay, but she was also incredibly patient and understanding when assisting with our horse-riding booking. We made numerous changes to the dates and timings, and she handled every request with professionalism, kindness, and a smile. I would also like to congratulate OY on her 25th Anniversary with Marriott. She is truly an asset to Marriott and a shining example of exceptional customer service. I sincerely wish her many more successful and happy years with the company. OY genuinely enhanced our Marriott experience and made our 4-night stay even more memorable. And to OY: when my money flies back, I'll definitely return to Phuket and catch up with you in person! Haha! Thank you to the entire Marriott's Phuket Beach Club team for a memorable family holiday. We look forward to visiting again.

I’ve been staying at Marriott’s Phuket Beach Club regularly since 2006, and it remains one of the most reliable, well‑maintained, and enjoyable resorts in Phuket. The 2‑bedroom villas are the perfect setup — spacious, comfortable, and equipped with full laundry facilities, which makes longer stays incredibly convenient. The grounds are immaculate year after year, with beautifully maintained gardens, quiet pathways, and a sense of space that’s getting harder to find in Phuket. One of the biggest advantages is the seamless access to all JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa facilities. You get the best of both worlds: the home‑like comfort of a villa plus the full amenities of a luxury hotel — pools, gym, restaurants, and the turtle sanctuary. After two decades of visits, the consistency of service, upkeep, and overall experience is what keeps me returning. It’s still one of the best family‑friendly and relaxation‑focused resorts on the island. Highly recommended.
The experience were magnificent, right from the check in until check out. The resort facilities and vibes were top notch, especially the pools. There are three pools available where the quiet pool was really great for the adults to enjoy. The hospitality and attention from the staff were top notch, especially from the guest relation Nandira, Ruben, India, and their manager Dilan. The complimentary local beers and wine from them in my room was indeed a pleasant cherry on top. The housekeeping staff (Sara, Megan, Thomas, and Kira) did a splendid job in keeping the room clean, neat, and warm with the additional towel decoration). The breakfast selection and quality were excellent, also the dinner that we had at Siam Deli and bbq buffet in M beach were magnificent. Totally worth to spend my vacation here and definitely recommended.
What a great experience! The resort was beautiful and lush, but what really made it was the staff! Attentive to your every need, from the bell staff to the concierge to the housekeeping staff! Overall, the staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful! We had a two bedroom apartment that was huge and beautifully appointed! The resort runs free shuttle service to a local shopping village which was very convenient. Overall, a great resort that I would be happy to stay at again!
A stay that didn’t try to impress — yet quietly became unforgettable. A resort that felt less like a hotel, and more like coming home. 📸 The resort at night — quietly elegant, calm, and almost cinematic. From the moment we arrived at Marriott’s Phuket Beach Club, a sense of calm settled in almost instantly. 📸 Sunset here isn’t just a view — it’s a moment you feel. During the day, the open design and long reflective water features invite you to slow down from the very first step. 📸 Where architecture gently meets the horizon. Walking through the resort, where water stretches toward the horizon, every perspective feels intentional and serene. 📸 A design that naturally slows you down. Stepping into the room, what stood out wasn’t just the space, but how naturally it felt to live in it. 📸 A space that feels easy to live in, not just stay in. The living room quickly became where we gathered as a family — comfortable, relaxed, and effortless. 📸 A quiet corner we kept coming back to. The balcony became our favorite place to pause, surrounded by greenery and a sense of calm. 📸 Simple, local flavors that start the day just right. Even the simplest things stood out — like a local-style breakfast that gently starts the day. 📸 Fun for all ages — effortless and relaxed. The pool quickly became a place we kept returning to — easy, enjoyable, and perfect for all ages. 📸 More than a resort — there’s always something to enjoy. Before our trip, we had reached out regarding island-hopping options, and Concierge Oy responded with remarkable efficiency and detail. What surprised us most was how much there was to do without ever leaving the resort. 📸 Moments like this make you slow down without trying. Then, almost without noticing, the pace begins to change. 📸 The same space, a completely different mood at night. As night falls, the resort transforms once again — calm, softly illuminated, and deeply relaxing. Returning to our room each evening, small thoughtful touches reminded us how much care goes into every detail. 📸 And somehow, it all felt like home. On our final day, we had originally planned to explore more of Phuket. But in the end, we chose to stay — and that decision said everything. Some places impress you. Some places stay with you. This was the latter. 謝謝這段美好的回憶,讓旅程多了一份溫度。 ขอบคุณสำหรับความทรงจำที่แสนอบอุ่นนี้
Excellent accomodations and facilities. Housekeeping staff was exceptional Khun Susan, Laura, Nana and Ashley. Breakfast noodle staff Cin and Ao were excellent. Restaurant staff at Cucina and the Cafe were excellent.
We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Nash, the tennis coach at the resort. From the very first session, his energy, professionalism, and genuine passion for tennis stood out. He has an incredible ability to adapt to all levels, whether you’re a complete beginner or more advanced, and he immediately makes you feel comfortable on the court. What really impressed me was how attentive and detail-oriented he is. He doesn’t just run through drills – he actually watches your game closely, gives clear, practical feedback, and helps you improve in a way that feels natural and enjoyable. Every session felt productive but also really fun. Beyond his coaching skills, Nash is just a great person to be around. Friendly, encouraging, and always positive, he creates a great atmosphere that makes you look forward to each session. It honestly became one of the highlights of our trip.
The International Women’s Day dinner at Marriott’s Phuket Beach Club was a wonderful example of how exceptional chefs and a dedicated hospitality team can create a truly memorable evening. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was warm and genuine. The dining tables were decorated with beautiful vases of flowers and a single rose placed at each table, creating an atmosphere that felt both elegant and celebratory. Chef Tim, the head chef for the evening, made the experience especially personal by visiting our table to introduce herself and share the inspiration and history behind the five-course menu she had designed. Hearing directly from the chef about each dish made the evening feel intimate and thoughtfully curated. The food itself was outstanding. The welcome bites featured Tod Man Pla Ma Prao On—homemade fish cakes with cucumber relish—that were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The main course of slow-braised Thai curry beef cheek paired with Phuket lobster was a highlight of the evening, beautifully balancing rich Thai flavors with local seafood. Dessert was equally impressive. The Pandan Inthanin, a handcrafted dessert that must be eaten fresh and requires three people just to stir during preparation, was a rare and delicious treat that made for a memorable ending. Chef Tim was supported by Chef Ja, and Chef Tik, who came from other restaurants to assist in making the evening run seamlessly. Behind the scenes and throughout the dining room, the entire team worked together to create an exceptional experience. Special recognition goes to Kwan, Molly, Goon, and Pam, whose attentive service and genuine care made guests feel completely looked after from beginning to end. Their warmth and attention to detail truly elevated the evening.
A luxurious home away from home ! Stayed here for 3 nights, usually my travel has 2 objectives see places and experience the stay! But at this place I was more inclined toward experience the stay, happily postponed the activities I had planned away from resort just to ensure I don’t miss out on activities at resort, what more can you ask for, Spacious rooms full equipped Kids are well engaged! You have a beautiful beach with a view ! You have elephant passing by You have firework Movie by the pool Buggy to move you around! All in all I really did not realise the time fly! A massive thank you for hosting us!
It all starts with ever smiling staff and doesn't end with services, cleanliness, quality of food, location of the property, the security, variety of food alternatives around the property etc...
Not much to add here except they could add a few options of water sports activities for guests.
A Dream Resort very welcoming, warmhearted, attentive, capable, familyfriendly, helpful service team everywhere in the Resort, especially the Pool Team Game Nuay, Lert Adal are just wonderful. I love to come here every time! Great views, a lot of activities and everything you need!
We absolutely loved our stay here. Large and spacious apartment, beautiful tropical gardens and incredibly perceptive, warm and welcoming staff for whom nothing was too much trouble. We stayed for 12 days, 9 of which had the most appalling weather, not just the odd tropical downpour, but constant cloud, rain and drizzle. Not to be beaten by the weather, we learnt to enjoy rain bathing (!) in the fabulous south pool ( there are three pools, this was our favourite) and took ourselves off to see the elephants, trip to Wa Chalong Temple and Old Town Phuket, plus a boat trip around Ao Phang Nga National Park, taking in the stunning and typical Thai sea and landscape, including James Bond Island. Highlight was the canoe ride around the lagoon. Staff at the pool ( particularly Lert), the Siam Deli and our room maids who kept our apartment spotlessly clean, were particularly helpful and made our stay extra special. Last three days were constant sunshine and were glad to just soak it all up by the pool, as well as enjoying a dip in the Andaman Sea - hard to resist when we were located right next to it. We are sad to leave and hope to return soon.
We had a wonderful stay at the Marriott Phuket Beach Club. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly warm and friendly — they made my family feel genuinely welcomed and well cared for throughout our stay. Every interaction felt sincere and thoughtful. The level of service was truly top-notch and consistently excellent. Whether it was housekeeping, the front desk, or the dining team, everyone went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Thank you to the whole team for giving us such a memorable experience. We can’t wait to come back!
A truly beautiful resort with loads of activities and quiet spaces so for families or couples. The apartment we had was superb, well equipped and very spacious for the four of us. The hotel had plenty of restaurant options and there were more restaurants a 10 minute walk away in Turtle Village, along with a supermarket, a few shops and chemists. The fact that it is only 17 minutes from the airport was even better. Will return.
The service is excellent. Best service from Aum at Siam Deli. She was fantastic with great service and very kind to the children. Hotel on the beach. Hotel has complimentary shuttle to nearby restuarant’s and shops. The hotel has 3 amazing swimming pools and the best gym with a heated jacuzzi , ice bath and sauna. The spa is heavenly. Loads of activities daily to keep you engaged or rest on a cabana by the poolside while hearing the waves crash. Would definitely visit again. Beautiful hotel with staff that makes the experience well worth it.
The staff were really friendly and attentive. Always smiling and accommodate to our needs with sincerety. And love the quality of the breakfast spread.
Some parts of the hotel were being renovated or upgraded (the only time they could do it due to non-peak season)
All inclusive, good choices for food, many activities
None
Very nice facilities and staff. Lots of dining options and things to do - so never really need to leave the resort
It’s slightly dated and could do with some upgrades but generally it’s well maintained. I also wished there was a more modern coffee machine (e.g., Nespresso) in the rooms
As a member of MVCI AP since 2009, I have stayed in this wonderful place a number of times. It is the best propoerties among the Marriott Vacation Club that I have stayed. The services and hospitalities that each guest services provided are exceptional. They have never failed me on every stay. For this time, I decided to attend the presentation to learn more about the new property that will be coming up in Khao Lak sometime in Sept 26. This is the first time I attended the presentation since becoming a member. The sales personnel is very professional. He did not push us to purchase more points and thanked us for attending the presentation. Meanwhile, upon my return home, I realised that I have left some cashes in the safe. and immediately called the property. Zong who is At Your Front Desk managed to work with the housekeeper and found my money. He has also written me an email to inform me that the property will keep the money until my next stay. I can only say that this kind of honesty is not happening in everywhere in other hotels that I have stayed especially in the west. As such, we should not take it for granted. As a member of MVCAP, my family and I are lucky to come back and enjoy our stay in the beautiful place year after year.
This hotel is special! They make each and every guest feel special! This is my 4th visit and it seems that more and more staff members say hello to me (by name) each visit! Guest relations were amazing in particular Tatiana. Unfortunately, my mother became ill and had to be admitted into hospital. Tatiana and housekeeping had made some beautiful arrangements in the room to welcome her back and wishing her a speedy recovery, as well as a couple of gifts, flowers and inviting us to join them at the Elite Cocktail hour. I was also very impressed with Khun Fluke who had just joined the hotel and GS team. Everyone from Front Desk to the restaurants and bars were amazing! But a special mention has to go to the housekeeping team. Khun Lilly and Khun Nong (Hannah) arranged a special bathroom amenity (they know I like). They also patiently showed us how to use the washing machine and dryer, they arranged clothes racks and pegs and were super nice! The overall housekeeping was amazing and so friendly! I have now decided that I will revisit this hotel AT LEAST once a year, every year! I highly recommend a visit.
Excellent place and service, I was able to access JW Marriott facilities. I really had a good time with multiple restaurants onsite and various swimming pools for families and adults.
We are vacation club members who have been to Marriott’s Phuket Beach Club for the last 17 years! Our kids grew up here and it’s the place of many memories. The staff have always been warm, friendly and welcoming. We especially want to commend Lert, the staff member who mans the poolside towel counter at the kids’ pool. He’s known us for years, and never fails to give us a big smile welcoming us back each time. He’s gone out of his way to make sure we are comfortable with all we need. He truly epitomizes the hospitality of Marriott that we’ve known for the past 17 years! 👍 Thank you Lert! And thank you Marriott! We look forward to our next visit!
Absolutely amazing experience! We were pampered!! First day we saw a baby elephant on the beach...the property is huge, lots to do, even on rainy day.
Another excellent stay at the Marriott Phuket Beach Club! We are owners and this is our home resort and we always like to stay here because this is the best Marriott Vacation Club! Staff at the Marriott Phuket Beach Club from the security guards, greeter wearing pitch helmet, doormen, front desk, housekeeping, gardeners, restaurant staff, guest relations, and management were all very friendly, helpful as usual. The staff is always warm and welcoming. Even our guest who arrived before we got to the resort was highly impressed by the welcome he received from the front desk. They gave him a coupon for a complimentary drink at the bar, while he waited for us to arrive. Our guest was also impressed with everything at the resort, the kind and efficient staff, and especially the gym where he said the equipment and staff were excellent. We were pleased to meet the new MPU GM Suyash Khot at the weekly owner's reception. We feel that he will also do a great job in managing the resort and staff like the previous GM, Olivier Le Quinquis who is now at another Marriott Vacation Club. Guest Relations manager Noah and Meaw were also very warm and welcoming. Emily and Ellina our housekeeping staff, did a great job in cleaning and maintaining our room (and making cute folded towel animals!) and were always so friendly. Maple from the MVC staff is always very kind and helpful and we always look forward to seeing her when we visit the resort. We highly recommend Marriott Phuket Beach Club and will return again soon!
Quiet, clean, and perfect for a relaxing stay. The villas are spacious and well-equipped, ideal for families. Friendly staff and great pool. Not right on the beach, but the shuttle makes it easy to get around. Would definitely come back! also restaurant i am recommend!
The villas are clean, spacious and have an incredibly well appointed kitchen. The staff is well trained and super polite. Very good facilities for kids as well, plenty of games and activities and the kids club staff is brilliant. The only negatives would be the amount of sandflies and mosquitoes (they are everywhere), the main pool not as clean as one would expect, and the buggy service that tends to tell you pick up in 5 mins and keep you waiting for 15.
My wife and I are owners in the Marriott Vacation Club. We utilize our options for a trip to Thailand opting to stay at the Marriott Phuket Beach Club. We reserved a two bedroom unit and invited another couple to join us. What an amazing vacation! The MPBC did not disappoint on any level. The rooms, amenities, meals, drinks, staff, and services were top notch. By day two, the staff knew my name and that I enjoy cappuccinos with breakfast. We booked several tours before arriving. Yo, the concierge, was extremely helpful at coordinating rides to and from our meeting locations. Tang, who was our host at check-in, was also extremely gracious and provided exceptional information to help get us oriented. We were about 45-minutes from the Old Towne, traffic dependent. The Old Towne is absolutely worth the trip. Plan to spend at least half a day walking the shops, restaurants, and markets. I sincerely appreciate the entire team at the Marriott Phuket Beach Club for helping to make our vacation totally AMAZING!
Myself, my husband and our two sons had a wonderful holiday at this beautiful resort. We are members of the vacation club and had an amazing 2 bedroom apartment with all the amenities anyone could need. What makes our holiday so special is seeing our lovely friend Talish’ the Indian chef who works in the Siam deli. We were so happy to see him again and he took such good care of us, nothing was too much trouble. It was also a pleasure to meet and get to know chef Atul, who also took such good care of us. Talish and chef Atul made sure that myself and my son had our favourite dishes at breakfast every day. My son loved the masala dosah. We also ate at the Siam deli and the food was so delicious, we are still missing it. Talish, and chef Atul recommended the most tasty dishes and cooked them to perfection. The prawn kebabs made on the grill are ‘to die for’ and we loved all the dishes we ate there. Chef Atul runs an outstanding team, Talish, Abu, lassan, Gaurav and Biplov. Thank you to you all. You all provide exceptional customer service. Talish was always there to help us and it made my holiday to see him again. I will be coming back next year to see these wonderful people and eat their food.Thank you Talish, Chef Atul, and all your team. We would also like to thank the wonderful staff at the north pool who again looked after us so well. It was so lovely to see Zen and Kai again, and meet Jay, Dee and Nong this time. Thank you to guest relations and especially Kassandra Sousa,we loved the surprise you prepared for us in our room. You were always so attentive and there if we needed anything. Thank you for the lovely room we had. We had a great time at breakfast served by the fantastic May, Ladda, View and laschan. Thank you so much. Our cleaning ladies Kim and Emily were amazing and kept our room spotless. Thank you. They were so friendly and polite too. This is a beautiful resort and we can’t wait to come back next year.
The best service that we have ever received from an MVC or Vistana property. Guest services manager Noah and his team were incredibly attentive. This was a retirement trip celebration for two couples and Noah had an incredible cake delivered to our room along with personalized photo/frame. Service throughout our trip was exceptional. The suites were very comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed the quiet adult pool and beautiful ocean/beach. Plenty of places within walking distance to pick up breakfast/lunch and to dine beachside. The Takieng restaurant at the nearby Renaissance hotel was fantastic. We will be back.
Exceptional in every aspect. We will be back!
Wir werden immer wieder in dieses Hotel gehen wenn wir in Thailand sind. Es ist eines der besten Resorts in denen ich jemals war
Superb garden on the beach
A noisy party next to our room , expensive breakfast , Rooms too dark, made me paid twice … but gave me back my second payment at departure … Checking at 1600 in and checking out 10:00 …
Quiet secluded beach
Staff was amazing, the resort itself was beautiful.
Had a wonderful Full Body Workout by Fitness Instructor, Leem this morning at Lotus Pavilion: well moderated session with right intensity…. a softer version of HIIT! Glad that he led us in different forms of abdominal exercises; feeling my abs are tighter…. :) Great gym facilities as well!
Having the privilege to enjoy the hospitality of the Marriott Beach Club several times a year, I particularly appreciate that it is embedded in the surrounding 5-Star facility of the JW Marriott and benefits from it’s services. If one is not looking for the “usual attractions” one might find in the Patong or Kata area in the southern part of Phuket (at least one hour drive), Mai Khao is a calm location well suited for families and for those looking for a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Although the hotel is in service for more than 20 years, I am always impressed by the impeccable cleanliness and condition of the housing infrastructure and lush gardens, which are constantly kept up-to-date without loosing its charme of a blend of some traditional Thai elements, colonial style and subtle modern touch. The “invisible” housekeeping staff performs at a constantly high and consistent level; this time I appreciated to find every day a fully “restored” and cleaned appartment thanks to the efforts of Tara, Lena, Fa and Nicole. In the various restaurants and the Spa, thanks to high staff loyalty with very low turnover rate, as a guest it is always a treat to be remembered and to be welcomed by name and apparent genuine joy. Impossible to name all, I would just like to emphasize on the special guest service provided by Aod, Soh, Lek, Pum, Beer, Pichit, Chai, Nooknie, Kim, Molly, Rainbow, Aim, Rita, Mai, Tukta, Cream and all their numerous colleagues. This year, some modernization is planned for the Rim Nam Pool Bar, the Andaman Grill and the M-Beach Club; I hope that, as in the past, the style and spirit will be kept despite the probably necessary infrastructure update. The price tag for the stay is rather on the higher end, but is well reflecting the level of the offered services and standards.
The resort is clean and wonderful, but could use a little updating in the villas. The staff are amazing as they go out of their way to assist in any way. We sat for two weeks by the quiet pool and the team of Khun Zen could not have been any more wonderful and accommodating. We rode bikes every day and the staff in the fitness centre were beyond accommodating. The food was lovely. The weather was amazing and the resort all around is beautifully maintained. We will definitely be back.
This was our second visit to the vacation club here, in a 2 bedroom villa ( the only size of MVC accommodation available). When we visited last January I was quite unwell but despite this our memories were lovely so we wanted to try again. What can I say - its an amazing place with the most wonderful staff. The resort is beautiful and so clean and well maintained. The units are perfect for 2 couples or a family with kids. There is a Marriott hotel on site too which has advantages and disadvantages. The obvious advantages are the extra restaurants/ bars/ shops that come with the hotel. Disadvantages are that there may be corporate events/ weddings etc taking place limiting the use of some facilities at given times. However the resort is spacious with 3 large outdoor pools, plenty of seating areas and direct access to a beautiful beach with sea activities available and of course swimming in the lovely warm water. We have stayed in many MVC resorts in Europe and USA and this is one of the nicest. All the units have a terrace or balcony with table and chairs as well as cooking facilities and washers/ dryers ( NB this will not be the case with hotel rooms). As we like to cook our own food and eat on the terrace ( a luxury rarely afforded to uk residents!) we can’t rate the restaurants but we did use the sala sawadee cocktail bar every night and can thoroughly recommend. Live music most nights, amazing relaxed atmosphere and the friendliest staff ever. Special shout out to Jay, AE, Poon, Rose and Lee who looked after us so well and shared a bit of themselves too. Wonderful memories made and we hope to return again soon. Thank you.
Amazing location! !!!! Incomparable service. Other hotels should learn from them! This place is Great for families and group of friends. Best in customer service. Excellent room service. Thanks to housekeeping- Susan, Banana and company!
The only thing is the location. It is far from everything in Phuket.
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful resort that is co-located with the JW Marriott property. Exceptional service and amenities. Our 2 bedroom suite was spacious and had all amenities needed even to cook if you choose. We appreciated the commitment to eco-friendly practices including plenty of refillable water. The food at all restaurants we tried was great, and we appreciated tips to local restaurants- we especially liked Kin Dee (pro tip - they will deliver delicious take out on the Marriott ). We also discovered Yenjai, about a 10 minute taxi ride - delicious dishes prepared with fresh ingredients- call ahead. The fitness center and free classes were great and we appreciated the quiet, adults only pool to relax in. Fabulous staff made this a wonderful place to relax. .
Stayed here for 4D3N as a redemption for our USD99 MVCI membership welcome benefit. We were surprised that breakfast wasn't included, even for Platinum Elite and above members. As it was priced almost 1000thb for breakfast buffet, we didn't try it out. The vacation club rooms are huge; probably as large as most hotel suites. While well kept, unfortunately the resort and rooms are starting to show their age. The bathroom tiles in the master toilet for example have come loose, and some of the locking mechanisms of the beautiful wooden closets are stiff/unlubricated (needing a bit of force to shut them tightly). The low kerb for the standalone shower is poorly designed and allows alot of water to flow out. My guess is that the tiles at the shower area have been overlaid with a newer layer of similar looking tiles that is now almost the same height as the low kerb. The guest bathroom unfortunately only has a bathtub without a standing shower so that would be quite inconvenient for the 4 guests using it. The terracotta tiles in the living area and bedrooms are poorly soundproofed, as we could hear thundering footsteps of children running in the unit upstairs. I note that the 3 air conditioner controls are new, signalling a welcome update to the room, which I understand to be built in 2003. The plates and cutlery were of good quality. We were impressed that children high chair was available upon request. Perhaps a further improvement could be the plastic bowls, plates, utensils be provided when the check in staff notice we have 2 kids in tow? Only on our last night did we request for them, and was given kids amenities as well :D The kids club has lesser guided activities and also doesn't have an indoor playground, when compared to the vacation club in bali terrace. Its selling point would be the water sports center whereby sailing and kayaking activities are offered. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. We were pleasantly surprised to find they had helped us do the dishes during the room make up! Special shoutout to the effervescent Mr Roger who filled with so much joy and warmth. It's rare to find someone who enjoys his job and interacting with guests as much as he does! We appreciate the complimentary buggy ferrying service to cut down the 5-10 walks to and from the reception area. Ditto for the covered lorry shuttle that brings us to the boring (but only) amenities in the area at turtle village; hopefully the vehicle could we swapped for a newer or electric one that doesn't emit as much exhaust fumes. Pro tip: Fares for private hire rides (on Grab) were insanely high, being even more expensive than Singapore. We'd definitely rent a car instead as you'd almost break even on the daily rental if you take one return trip out of the resort. There's also only two 7-11s nearby which would mean u need to venture out further should you want to buy groceries to cook.
This was our second stay at the JW Marriott Resort Phuket, 8.5 years after our previous visit and it certainly didn’t disappoint! 😃 We were allocated room number 1431 and it was excellent. In the North Wing (quieter end of the resort) close to the quiet pool. The villa was immaculately clean and well stocked with bottled water, laundry detergents and bathroom amenities. Our room was kept spotlessly clean by Kim, Yuki and Elena. These members of the housekeeping team attended our room daily and presented towels and gifts throughout our stay - even decorating our room to celebrate my fiancées birthday! Staying at the Beach Club enables facilities at the hotel to be accessed and charges on the bars and restaurants to be made to your villa bill. The quiet pool was so relaxing and the service provided by Zen and Nong was outstanding. I haven’t experienced such attention from pool staff at any other resort, anywhere! These two guys are a credit to Marriott! Far at the M Beach Club and Goong at the Ginja Restaurant were also excellent. On the hotel reception JJ, Mercedes, Hitesh and Baron took exceptional care of us during our stay, including preparing a birthday card for my fiancée! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this resort as a top 5* destination!
Wonderful stay at Marriott Vacation Club, Phuket! Outstanding service, especially from the front desk team and the attentive housekeeping staff. The breakfast spread was delicious, offering a wide variety of options in a beautiful setting. A big thank you to the restaurant crew for their warm hospitality and exceptional service. Can't wait to come back!
A special THANK YOU to Kitti and all the water sports team for their wonderful help. I loved paddle boarding and kyaking often. Bless you all. Thanks to the yoga teachers and Pilates teachers. We loved the gym ice bath too was so wonderful as was the jacuzzi and sauna thanks !
Another great stay at a Marriot Resort. The hotel grounds and villas are outstanding well maintained and usual 5 star service by staff. We had a 2 bedroom Garden View Villa cannot say how comfortable it was as well as having every amenity you could think of. Some great independent restaurants at the beach as well as the usual excellent restaurants and bars within the resort. A 5 minute walk to Turtle Bay shopping area which also had a great selection of bars, restaurants and shops.
Was here 10 years ago and still as wonderful
Going home
Absolute best stay ever! Customer service the best. Not one bad thing to criticize. Wonderful room, wonderful people, excellent housekeeping, excellent pool service, excellent attention to detail in every way, shape and form. The GOLD standard, all resort managers should spend a week here so they can learn how to do their jobs and treat their guests. Housekeeping every day, even wash your dishes! Leave you whatever you want or need, no BS charges for this or that. I can't say enough good things. Everything you could need is close by if not here already, pharmacy across the street. Starbucks within walking distance as well as plenty of other shops. We will probably not return to Thailand, it was a once in a lifetime trip for us and the staff here made it all of that. Thank you so much. If I ever return to Thailand, I will just stay here and not leave the resort. No need to.
Location and pools
The restrictions are a bit expensive
We love how big the resort is and all the staff are just wonderful

Marriott Phuket Beach Mai Khao is a slice of heaven with the most beautiful beach and clear water. The service, facilities and rooms were 5 star.
Everything was great 😊
Marriott’s Phuket Beach Club is on the same ground as JW Marriott and it shares everything with that resort. The only difference is that you don’t have the same breakfast buffet and that the rooms might differ between the resorts. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which was perfect for our family of five. I really like the closeness to the beach, that you have some cheap restaurants on the beach and a small shopping center within walking distance. We stayed for 4 nights which was perfect, after that we were quite done with the resort. Beautiful gardens between the houses and nice grass area between the resort and the beach were you can lay in the sun or play volleyball. I wouldn’t say that either this or JW is a real luxury resort, but they are definitely clean and good enough.
Though I have some remarks I highly recommend this hotel for families and older couples. At least for a couple of days. Breakfast deal is pretty bad, eaten at Siam Deli with a very limited offer from an a la cart menu. As on all resorts the restaurants are quite pricey. Rooms are a bit dark, but we only stayed there after sunset so for us it didn’t matter. Pools were a bit too warm for a fresh dip, I preferred the very nice beach instead.
It’s so wonderful to have met such a beautiful soul in the heart of Phuket Island. Upon check-in, we already knew that we would be in excellent hands. Oy did a sensational job in arranging all of our accommodations including our hotel stay, hotel to airport transportation and especially our elephant experience. Her level of professionalism far exceeds typical customer care. She treated each and every one of us like her family. She literally made it her mission to guarantee us having the most amazing time in Thailand. I have traveled to many places, and I haven’t yet met a concierge staff that can match Oy’s standards. She really is the personification of customer service. Her level of care is second to none as she single-handedly made sure my family had the best Thai experience. It’s safe to say, we've made a new friend in each other. Again, thank you so much for everything and daghang salamat, Khun Oy!! PS. She’s also a Miss Universe fan. Fantastic hotel
Extremely clean, great service, many activities to do. Amazing stay!

Location is good, people there are very nice and helpful. Apartment was very big and comfortable.
We paid for a room with breakfast. But we didnt know that breakfast was a la carte and not buffet which they also offered, the surcharge for buffet breakfast was expensive. Also caffee ( cappuccino) was about 6euros. Food and drinks prices are insanely high. Near hotel is 7 eleven but there is not much to buy. If you are looking for a party this hotel is not a rigt place for you. This hotel is for family,....
Great for families
Everything
Nothing
Great facilities, great for kids, room fixtures and fittings excellent.
Restaurants a little expensive. Think it needs more diversity of price ranges.
loved the hotel. so much lush greenery and very serene. the chefs were so so helpful with my food allergies and went above and beyond
communication regarding what our stay included was hard but the staff were very helpful and it got sorted
our room was nice
Immediately upon arrival they cornered us into a hard sell about joining Vacation Club. We agreed to sit through a 90 minute pitch the next day in exchange for gift vouchers. But they made me give back some of the vouchers when my wife couldn’t also join the pitch, even though they knew we were travelling with small children. So counter productive. Based on this experience we will NEVER join the Marriott Vacation Club. Room fee included breakfast but we were turned away from the nice buffet breakfast and sent to a third-class area and given one item each from a boring menu. Very embarrassing and humiliating. Why have different tiers of breakfast? It just makes some guests feel unwelcome. Unbelievably, they close the pool at 6pm, just before sunset! And they stop serving drinks by the pool even earlier! WHY? Has the Marriott never heard of sundowners? I have never before in all my travels been to a tropical beach resort hotel that closes the pool BEFORE sunset! I thought they were joking but alas… The resort is too big and you need to order a golf buggy every time you want to leave or return to your room. And there are lots of mosquitoes.
The resort was great and the staff where fantastic. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment which was very large and had all the required amenities including a fully equipped kitchen. Our kids especially loved the children's activity play centre and the beach. The first couple of days it took as a while to get our bearings walking around the resort as it is so spread out. We only had a couple of annoyances: 1) Hotels.com advertised our breakfast as a full kitchen continental breakfast with no further description. The vast majority of guests at the hotel had a buffet breakfast at JW Cafe. To our disappointment, a Full Kitchen Continental Breakfast actually meant eating at the Siam Deli and being offered only one Beveridge and one of only a handful of menus listed in their menu. It was definitely not a full kitchen! We were not able to upgrade to the buffet breakfast and had to pay the full fee for that option. 2) We paid top dollar for our accommodation. Had we researched better, we could have had the room for close to a third of the price had travelled 2 weeks later in April.
Very clean and tidy rooms. We had a two bedroom unit. We thoroughly enjoyed our eight night stay. The kids loved their time at kids camp. We enjoyed the pools and poolside service. The hotel is a bit away from most places but we still did two full day trips away. We liked the quieter area. There are options to eat out away from the hotel. But the restaurants on site were great. Food prices not too dissimilar to Aussie food prices. We enjoyed the friendly staff Marn, Love, JJ, Nam to name some standouts. Hope to return at some point in the future.
