We did not experience any significant negative aspects during our two-week stay. Everything was handled professionally and with great care. A bit unfortunate at this time of the year is, that the ocean is too rough to swim.

The Italian Rest was amazing!

Swimming pool area has no security. Children's pool area had an adult filming. I advised the hotel swim staff and manager on site.

We've been coming to the JW Marriott Phuket for many years now and the service has always been excellent. This year we were assisted by Oy in our booking, and she made our experience so much smoother and more comfortable. Oy helped us to organise our transport to and from the airport to the hotel, car rental, even helped us to check the status of our room while we were in a different hotel. At the end of the trip, she made sure we got to the airport in time for an early morning flight. So much thanks to Oy Marriott Concierge - very trustworthy and better than the Tui tour desk

We had an AMAZING stay at the JW Marriott Phuket for our honeymoon. We had heard great things going into our stay, but our expectations were still surpassed by the phenomenal service and overall experience. If you’re visiting Phuket and want a luxurious and relaxing experience as a couple or with your family, I’d highly recommend staying here! The entire hotel staff went out of their way to make our stay special. It felt like every staff member knew our names and room number, and the level of personalized service was incredible. From drinks at the Sala Sawasdee Lobby Bar, to delicious breakfasts at JW Cafe, to amazing dinners at Cucina and Andaman Grill, we had a great experience everywhere on the property. The pool staff were fantastic as well. One example that really stood out was how the hotel handled a very minor issue with a third-party booking platform that allowed me to make a reservation at a restaurant that was temporarily closed for construction. The staff immediately took ownership of the situation and went above and beyond, surprising us with a complimentary cabana by the main pool with food and drinks for the day. It was completely unnecessary, but such a thoughtful gesture and a great example of their approach to hospitality. They were also fantastic with dietary restrictions. Every restaurant seemed to already know that my wife was gluten-free and vegetarian, as well as my nut allergy. We never had to repeatedly explain everything, which made dining throughout the resort incredibly easy and comfortable. The property itself is beautiful, with great pools, clean and comfortable rooms, and convenient proximity to the airport. We stayed at more than 10 hotels throughout our honeymoon, and the JW Marriott Phuket stood out for having the best service and overall experience of the entire trip. More than anything, it was the way the staff treated us and genuinely seemed to care about making our stay special. We would absolutely stay here again and cannot recommend it enough.

My family of four stayed at JW Marriott Phuket for five days, and we had an unforgettable and wonderful experience. From check-in to check-out, we were surrounded by stunning scenery, and all the staff here were warm, friendly and dedicated to delivering the best service for guests. Special thanks to Cholly at the front desk team and Korn from Activity Club. Korn quickly became friends with our kids. They like him so much and looking forward to spending time with him every day and really enjoyed staying with him. My husband and I had our birthdays during the stay and Cholly prepared written cards and complimentary drinks for us.Very sweet. One of my boys scratched the legs and Petch from the swimming pool helped very carefully to clean and put the bandage to him. All of those made us feel ease and comfortable. We are truly grateful for this lovely stay at JW Marriott Phuket, which left us beautiful memories. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

We stayed at JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa while celebrating my birthday and our 6th wedding anniversary, and our stay became one of the most memorable parts of our trip to Thailand. One of the things we loved most about this resort was the environment itself. The landscaping and gardens are absolutely beautiful and incredibly well maintained. We genuinely enjoyed them every single day. Simply walking through the tropical gardens became one of our favorite parts of staying here. The beachfront area was just as special. Taking long, peaceful walks along the hotel’s beautiful beach path, surrounded by nature and the sound of the ocean, was something we looked forward to every day. There is a wonderful sense of peace throughout the entire property that makes you want to slow down and simply enjoy where you are. But what really elevated our experience was the people. Every member of staff we encountered was incredibly kind, respectful and welcoming. Whether we were at breakfast, walking around the resort, asking for assistance or simply passing a member of the team, we were always greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. There is something about the service here that makes you feel not just like another hotel guest, but genuinely special and cared for. We would also especially like to recognize Nandira from the Loyalty Team. She took wonderful care of us throughout our stay. She helped us with recommendations and arrangements, regularly checked that everything was going well, and helped make both my birthday and our anniversary even more memorable. What we appreciated most about Nandira was how genuine her hospitality felt. She was thoughtful, patient and incredibly kind, and it never felt as though she was simply doing her job. She genuinely cared about our experience, and that personal touch meant a lot to both of us. We especially wanted to mention her here so that both future guests and the management team know what an exceptional impression she made on us. From the beautiful tropical gardens and peaceful beachfront walks to the excellent facilities and, above all, the wonderful people working here, JW Marriott Phuket gave us exactly the kind of experience we hoped for on such a special trip. We left Phuket with many beautiful memories, and this resort will definitely be one of them. We were often visited kidsclub during spend JW Mariotto. Mrs.Ritha, and all the wonderful staff, We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to you and all the amazing staff. Our stay was such a fun and fulfilling experience, and that was made possible in large part by the kids’ club and the wonderful staff there. They played so warmly and happily with our children, and they also showed great kindness and consideration toward us as parents, always making us feel cared for. We were also very happy that children aged five and above could be looked after at the kids’ club, which gave us some valuable time to relax and enjoy our stay as well. We would absolutely love to visit again. Thank you so much for giving us such wonderful and happy memories. We truly appreciate everything you did for us.

I first visited the JW marriot resort in 2022. As i arrived the staff and team at JW greet you and take care of you instantly. From offering you drinks, guiding you to the room to any type of help you will need they are there, the views are absolutely phenomenal, it's a huge resort with plenty of space and greenery that you can enjoy. Lots of activities you can do with your family, because of this top service and wonderful resort i've re-visited this exact property 3 times after. It wasn't because it was just a relaxing place that instantly felt like home, But because of the staff and team that take care of you and make you feel comfortable in this resort. One staff memeber who i've interacted with over the years is "Korn" recreation. Young man who has the purest heart. He is handling the games section. He treats everyone so kindly and always willing to play with us after a long day of work he never says no. He is a very sweet man and amazing with us. A passionate man that loves his job is the best example i can give. I hope the JW Managment as well as the MVC give this man great things because he deserves it. Other than that, I recommended everyone who is looking for a getaway vacation to come spend it here in the JW marriot. It's far away from all the busy areas and great from relaxing and spending time with your family

Everyone was really friendly and nice! The staff members (especially Korn ) and the house keeping were really helpful, kind, and funny, which made the stay extremely memorable and worthwhile. Our time at this hotel has been amazing!! From the cleanliness, hospitality, and amenities, everything was truly memorable. Movie nights were our absolute favourite activity to look forward to. Possible the most amazing experince my wife and I have had. We have travelled extensivle and stayed a lots of Marriott properties but the team at JW Marriott Phiket are a stand out. From arrival to departure at every level the team exceeded our expectations

We stayed in multiple hotels around Phuket, and JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa was our top pick. It’s located on a quiet beach, great for a peaceful holiday. The resort grounds are beautiful. We experienced a temporary water cut during our stay. Huge thanks to Karen, she contacted us proactively and offered fair solutions and compensation professionally. One morning we showed up for breakfast really late when most food was already cleared. The staff didn’t rush us at all and kindly made a fresh omelette for us. Such a nice touch. I’d highly recommend ground-floor garden rooms. Nice views and super easy access to the beach. The service is thoughtful and professional. We would book again when we return to Phuket.

We had excellent stay in JW Marriott. The staff was very friendly they gave use good service. The location is sea facing with two big pools. The adult only pool was very relaxing. The spa, gym and restaurants are excellent. They have shuttle facility running through nearby turtle village. Definitely will recommend this place.

The hotel infrastructure is old, requires renovation. One day there is some chemical gas smell from central air (we even had to change rooms), another the pumping system is down, so our toilet won’t flush.

This whole resort is very beautiful and has all of the amenities we needed. We had a spacious condo with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a balcony. We were. A very quiet location and it was so relaxing and peaceful. The housekeeping was great and the staff was so very helpful. The concierge Oy was so great helping us to select the excursions that worked best for us. We ended up selecting a snorkeling trip that was everything we hoped for and more since we saw monkeys! We also spent a lot of time at the pool and the servers there took care of us with cold drinks and lunch. I have nothing bad to say about this resort.

They were incredibly proactive, addressing my specific needs and helping with detailed planning well before we even arrived. There was a great variety of high-quality options every morning—it quickly became our favorite way to start the day. • The Kids Club: This was the real winner for us. The Kids Club is thoughtfully run and genuinely engaging. My kids absolutely loved their time there, which allowed us some much-needed relaxation knowing they were having a blast. If you are looking for a resort that balances luxury service with a genuinely kid-friendly environment, this is it. We can’t wait to come back!

We are staying here with our 10-year old daughter over Easter holiday. She absolutely loved the kids club. The staff there were all super friendly, attentive, caring and playful. A very special shout out to Mr Korn who went the extra mile to make a very fun holiday for our girl! Thank you :-)

Wonderful property with so many extras and niceties! To clarify- I stayed at the Phuket Marriott Beach Club. They share all public areas, pools, restaurants, etc with the JW Marriott. That part was unclear to me at first- but a brilliant idea and such a great vibe and endless options. Facilities, food, staff, activities were top notch. But the sand on the beach is like butter! I can’t rave enough about this property. We have been vacation club owners for >30 years and this property definitely stands out!

I had a really fun time with Korn. He was very friendly and kind. He played with us table tennis and gave us prizes after we finished the game. He was very nice to be around because he was always talked to us and made us happy. He also was very funny telling us jokes and making sure we were feeling good. Korn is a very good staff member. He is the best we have ever had

I had a great experience in JW Marriott Phuket. I visited the place as part of my company retreat. During the retreat we had several events and one of the events was about best dressed male on the gala dinner. I wanted to try something different so i wished wear a traditional thai female costume(Am a male). Since I did not have the costumes with me, I reached out to OY from the concierge. She was excited about the idea and was ready to help me. She tried connecting with few nearby costume stores but the costume was unavailable as it was a last minute. So she decided to get some help from the internal team to get the costumes. And she connected me with Rita from kids club. Rita then helped me to get the costumes and also showed me how it should be worn. And fortunately I won the best dressed male competition also. A big thanks to OY and Rita for making it an incredible and memorable experince. This is an appreciation post more than a review and it shows how seriously and professionally they take of the guests.

Me and 9 other family members stayed here for my 50th birthday in March. The hotel, pools, beaches and restaurants were all 5 star. A truly amazing place to be. I wanted to take a minute to mention “The World Class Concierge Oy.” Oy was truly amazing. She worked with me for months planning my first vacation to Thailand. She truly went above and beyond. Not only did she arrange transportation and activities flawlessly for my time in Phuket. She arranged transportation and activities to and from other hotels. Who does that? She single handedly made my time in Bangkok, Chang Mai and Phuket amazing. I can’t say enough about her, if you get a chance to use her services, do not hesitate! Thanks again Oy!

What a great 5 day stay at the JW Marriott. The reception staff welcomed us like we were family. We spent an evening talking with Karen, the Operations Manager, who gave us a grand vision of enhancements that are sure to elevate the experience. The place is very cozy and the staff name Boy is very nice he taught me table tennis and badminton while give me exclusive popcorn making class for free!

Ich würde sagen: Alles! Es waren leider nur zwei Nächte, aber die Zeit haben wir unglaublich genossen. Das Personal, die Lage, das Zimmer, das Essen - einfach perfekt. Und so viel Liebe ins Detail, obwohl die Anlage riesig ist. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet bis zum Schluss (7-11 Uhr) eine Vielfalt und Perfektion, die ich so noch nirgendwo erlebt habe. Der Strand und die Pools sind zauberhaft, die Vielfalt der Restaurants ist groß. Der Sonnenuntergang ist ein Erlebnis an diesem Ort. Wir waren zum Abschluss unserer Reise dort und haben keine Ausflüge von dort unternommen, aber Taxiservice zum Flughafen klappte prima.

Man kann hierzu nicht wirklich etwas schreiben. Die Preise sind gehoben, aber das weiß man bereits vorher. Und wenn man sieht, was geboten wird, relativiert sich das auch.

fantastic holiday fabulous hotel. this is a 5 star hotel cannot fault anything. From extremely helpful and pleasant staff, breakfast everything you could want traditional thai dishes, egg station - crab benedict was excellent , fresh fruit, juice and smoothies lots and lots of choice, stunning views on the beach lots of areas to sit and felt very spacious, lovely room, the gym was also really good lots of different equipment including steam/ sauna and jacuzzi in the changing areas We ate at the hotel a few times and then in two restaurants up the road I found the hotel food better snd similar in price again food was very good we will definitely return

Excellant food and excellant facilities especially the SPA and the Pools

The breakfast buffet was excellent, and most of the food was truly delicious. What I enjoyed most about our stay at JW Marriott Phuket was the genuine friendliness of the staff. Every staff we interacted with was incredibly kind, welcoming, and highly responsive throughout our stay. My husband and I had booked an island hopping tour, but the night before the trip my husband injured his back. We reached out to ask whether it might be possible to cancel and receive a refund, fully aware that the notice was very short and that this might be very difficult. OY and Malai at the Concierge went above and beyond to help us. Thanks to their support, we were able to cancel the tour and receive a full refund. We were extremely grateful for their kindness and understanding.

Everything you buy on the resort is very expensive The beachsand is hot so nobody can stay on the beach.

Bel hôtel dans un style Thai au sein d'un jardin luxuriant. Très belles piscines. Très grand hôtel mais cela ne se ressent pas. Personnel vraiment très attentionné. Bar très agréable.

Il y a vraiment un problème avec la qualité de la nourriture qui n'est vraiment pas au niveau sachant qu'il n'y a rien autour. C'est la première fois que je vois cela à ce niveau d'hôtel en Thailande. Il faut vraiment travailler ce point. Ce n'est pas acceptable.

The property is absolutely stunning. We got a family suite and there was ample space for the three of us. The staff here are one of the best i’ve ever interacted with. The breakfast spread is a must!

The only thing i didn’t like so much was the fact that we were far away from the city’s center. This is something the hotel can’t help, but that’s something you’ve got to keep in mind before booking as it might get inconvenient to get taxis on the way back to the hotel at night.

Zbyt słaby wybór alkoholi i Zbyt drogie. Jeśli robi sie happy haker to na wszystko a nie stwarza minimalistyczna liczbę alkoholi. Ponadto ceny alkoholi podawane są bez podatków.Powoduje to ich wzrost o około 20% co nie jest w żadnym cenniku. Dotyczy to zresztą nie tylko alkoholi ale całej karty menu.

Sehr gutes Hotel, aussergewöhnlihe Ambiente, fabelhaftes Frühstück, toller Strand/Beach. Sehr empfehlenswert.

It was good hotel buy we came with a newborn so it was a very difficult experience for us since it was way too hot I wish it would have been colder or have places with more AC But its great for couple i think There is a manager name Game, he gave us a really good experience, truly appreciated his help and service!

Old and gross. Can’t believe this is a JW. We literally checked out and went to a different resort.

We stayed two nights at the JW Marriott Resort & Spa in Mai Khao and had a really great stay. The location is very convenient for the airport and also if you are coming from or heading to the Koh Yao Yai pier. It’s quite far from Phuket Town or Patong, but for us that was actually a plus. The resort is huge, which is normally not really my thing, but it’s designed in such a spacious way that it never feels crowded. There are several pools, including a nice adults-only pool. The facilities are excellent as well, with tennis courts and a large, well-equipped gym. Breakfast has a huge selection and everything we tried was very good. We also had dinner at the beach club one evening — great setting by the sea and a very relaxed atmosphere. Although the hotel isn’t really in the center of anything, there is a small open-air shopping area within walking distance with a few restaurants, 7-Elevens and pharmacies, which turned out to be very convenient. Overall, a very comfortable resort with excellent service. We would definitely stay again.

There is just so much to do at the property! The views, pools, pristine private beach, the fire show, the hospitality.. were all exceptional. The staff were particularly warm and welcoming. There are a lot of activities for kids as well and the Kids club was a nice fun place for toddlers to burn their energy. Also the French toast at breakfast, was hands down the best I've ever had. I would go there again just for that!

The room felt old and tiles and furnishings are a bit dated. Not really a problem though, unless you want modern luxury for your stay.

Marriott Resort was beautiful and perfect for our stay. Rainbow was very helpful for checking in and out. In fact, all of the customer service was top notch, room service, pool attendants, waitresses, etc. Highly recommend!

Die Unterkunft ist einfach nur traumhaft. Ein besseres Resort, haben wir noch nicht erlebt. Besonders zu erwähnen ist die Freundlichkeit aller, aber wirklich aller Mitarbeiter. Ob an der Rezeption, ob in den Restaurants und an der Bar, ob das Putzpersonal oder der Gärtner. Alle sind sehr sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Hotel is tired and needs an update. Staff is disorganised. Many mosquitoes.

We have been here twice now in the past 6 months. It’s easy to get to from the airport and a quiet place to relax. We have loved everything about the facility - the rooms are good size, the grounds are well taken care of, tons of choices and price points for food, things for the kids, nice facilities for adults like the spa and gym, kayaking and a dive shop, a kids club, etc. They make it easy for everyone to have a nice vacation. We used the concierge both times to help us book our trips and they did an outstanding job. I have to specifically mention Oy who remembered us our second time and genuinely cared that we had a good time. She is extremely personable and kind and does her job really well. We will definitely be back again - it’s a top spot for the whole family.

What a great hotel. The room upgrade was amazing overlooking the ocean. Special thanks to Athena who checked us in and made sure everything was perfect. Such great pools, with a swim up pool bar and excellent service. The adult pools was quiet and peaceful. The beach and ocean are amazing, you can walk and swim forever. Special recognition to Oy at the concierge, for her support and attention while we were here, she is a special type of person who cares about her guests and goes the extra mile to make sure they are comfortable and well cared for. Thank you for making our stay so amazing.

Wow! What a wonderful 5 night stay. Thank you to the entire staff who understands that small things do make a big difference. Yes the property is 25 years old, but it does not look that way. Super clean and well kept. Thank you to Mr Hitesh who took time to listen to all of our positive comments. His staff is well trained. This is the best JW we have stayed in ever and this is coming from a Lifetime Titanium Member who has stayed in Marriott properties all over the world. Breakfast at the JW Cafe’ was exceptional. Ladda our waitress made each morning special. Cin and Dadda went above and beyond at the Cafe’ as well. Again it was the little details. I said, do you have a bit of salmon and immediately it appeared. Our room, a pool access room, was super clean. Thank you to Fah for servicing our room so well. Perfect! She made it personal for us leaving special touches. The Andaman Grill was very nice. We enjoyed a cocktail in the new bar area there before dinner. I do not recall our server or the bar attendant, but both were fabulous. Thank you Ice for helping us upon arrival and Baron upon checkout. Both know how to move through the process efficiently with a personal touch. If you are considering a trip to Phuket give this location a great consideration. I give it 5 stars plus. B. G.
