This is an excellent mid price resort with comfortable rooms and a great staff. It is a convenient drive to the ancient sites of Messina, Sparta and Mistras.* The beach is pebbles with wood walkways but no boardwalk into the surf. The water is calm in the morning but is slightly wavier with afternoon winds. The three pools range from Olympic size plus to suitable for small kids. The fitness room needs updating; the equipment is old and sparse. The buffet breakfast and supper would benefit from to-your-style stations like omelets and burgers. The ala carte menú is short but the items we had were well prepared. Definitely worth a stay in Kalamata. *There are two ways from Kalamata to Sparta: mountain and highway. The mountain drive is twisty but has incredible views. The time is about the same for both.

This is a beautiful hotel. The setting is great and all the facilities are very well maintained. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is (for the most part) chilled. There seem to be plenty of sun beds to go around (at the start of September at least) and lovely areas to relax and have a drink - both inside and out.

Just 2 small things: 1. The "menus" - which have to be accessed via a QR code. We deliberately didn't bring our phones down (we're on holiday - why did we need phones?) - and when we did, the links to the menus were confusing and peppered with adverts. Very annoying. 2. For the love of god DITCH the ridiculous poolside aqua fit classes. Everyone was having a lovely relaxing time by the pool - until the boombox appeared and it was thumping exercise music for the next hour! WHY? Everyone appeared bemused by the whole thing. As if we'd suddenly been transported into an episode of Benidorm!

Excellent location, territory, buildings, staff. They took initiative and upgraded us to a junior suite which was superbe.

Φανταστική θέα και κήποι, καταπράσινα, περιποιημένα, οι πισίνες σε συνεχεια με τη θάλασσα. Το πρωινό εξαιρετικό, είχε πραγματικά τα πάντα.

Πρεπει να υπάρχουν σίτες στις μπαλκονόπορτες. Επίσης, το κρεββάτι αν και ζητήσαμε ανωστρωμα για να γίνει λιγότερο σκληρό και μας έφεραν ενα πολυ καλό, χρειάζεται βελτίωση - πρώτον, γιατι ο ξύλινος σκελετός έτριζε και επίσης διπλό κρεββάτι σε 5αστερο πρεπει να βρίσκεται σε βάση με δύο στρώματα και ενιαίο ανωστρωμα για να μην ενοχλείται το άλλο άτομο. Η παραλία δεν είναι κάτι ιδιαίτερο , με πέτρες και βότσαλα.

Facilities were great

Beautiful hotel with friendly, helpful staff and excellent cleanliness. The service was great, and the location was convenient, with easy access to both the beach and the pool. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend it.

הכל!!!! החל מהיחס בקבלה - וכל שאר הצוות, תמיד מחייכים, שואלים מה נשמע ומה ניתן לעזור. החדר!!! הבריכה, החוף, האוכל, השירות פנטסטי. ראוי לציין את מנהל האירוח במסעדות - מדהים, אבל כך גם כולם. בהחלט שווה, מומלץ ונחזור👏

Excellent location and grounds including pools. Lovely cabanas on beach and views of mountainside. Room and garden outlook were wonderful, very clean and stylish Lovely shower, vanity and wardrobe. Great size. Good buffet breakfast variety and quality. Plenty of parking, easy access in out hotel.

Pool shut early. Breakfast staff a little overwhelmed with volume of people, and lack of shaded areas for available tables. Clunky entrance, staff/guard hidden behind gates and traffic cones as first arrival into hotel. Yoga timing clashed with breakfast inclusion, should be scheduled earlier and as such could not partake. Lots of kids and families, not a boutique hotel

ואוווו, מושלם, מלון מהאגדות, החופשה היוונית הכי טובה שלנו, הגענו מאוחר מאוד למלון בגלל עיכובים בטיסה, קיבלו אותנו בחום, עזרו לנו עם המזוודות ואפילו שידרגו לנו את החדר, פשוט מושלם. בחדר היה יין ועוגות אישיות, איזה כיף להתחיל ככה חופש. בחדר היו בקבוקי מים וכל יום שמו חדשים, המלון והמתקנים נקיים מאוד, הצוות אדיב ואם הייתי יכול הייתי משכפל כאלה עובדים לארגון שלי, מנהל חדר האוכל הוא האיש הכי יעיל ושירותי שפגשתי, המבחר של האוכל גדול, טעים וטרי, המלון יושב על הים עם חוף פרטי מושלם, לאורך כל היום ניתן להזמין משקאות ואוכל, הבריכות גדולות, נקיות ויפות עם מיטות שיזוף ושמשיות. למלון הזה נחזור שוב ושוב, היה מושלם

Le personnel était omniprésent, répondait immédiatement à nos demandes et renseignait bien sur la ville de Kalamata. La plage était très propre. La clientèle est familiale non bruyante.

We have only the best impressions of the hotel and highly recommend it, especially to families with children. We also feel heartfelt gratitude to the staff for their extraordinary service and dedication that made us feel welcome and enjoy our stay at the hotel. We enjoyed both the beach and the pools and liked the hotel's setting among long palm trees next to a rugged mountain. We liked the food and were pleased with the quality choices in the dinner buffet. Filoxenia is very kid-friendly and we were particularly impressed the dedication of the children activities' staff as well as the free lunch service for children accompanied by free ice cream all day long.

The hotel appears to struggle dealing with small flies in the area close to the parking lot. Some netting would also be useful in the patio/balcony doors. While the hotel has recently undergone a renovation, we were baffled by the visible damages to the doors in our part of the building.

Μας άρεσε πολύ η τοποθεσία

Όταν πληρώνεις τόσα χρήματα μερικά πράγματα οφείλουν να είναι σωστά! Το πρωινό ήταν απαράδεκτο. Αν δεν μπορείς να έχεις φρέσκο χυμό πορτοκάλι σε ξενοδοχείο 5 αστέρων τότε να μην ζητάς αυτά τα χρήματα από τους πελάτες σου. Αν ο πελάτης πρέπει να περιμένει στην ουρά με το πιάτο στο χέρι για να γίνει ο ανεφοδιασμός στον μπουφέ και να βλέπει το προσωπικό εκνευρισμένο τότε έχεις πρόβλημα γιατί δεν έχεις αρκετό προσωπικό για να εξυπηρετήσει τις ανάγκες του ξενοδοχείου σου. Οι ποιότητα ήταν κακή στο ψωμί στην μαρμελάδα και η ποικιλία των προϊόντων ενώ ήταν μεγάλη δεν είχε καμία ουσία γευστικά. Το προσωπικό ευγενικό άλλα όχι καταρτισμένο. Ξεχάσαμε στην συσκευή καπνού στο δωμάτιο και ήθελαν 65 ευρώ για να μας την στείλουν με δικό τους courier ,προφανώς για να σε αποτρέψουν και για να κάνουν λιγότερη δουλειά ,γιατί εμείς τελικά παραλάβαμε την συσκευή μόνο με 15ευρω . Το ala carte εστιατόριο υπερτιμημένο.

ריזורט מהפנט ברמת גבוהה עם חוף ים צמוד ופרטי. בריכות אינפיניטי מדהימות. ארוחות בוקר חלומיות. לקחנו סוויטה ועוד חדר זוגי שהיו מעוצבים מדהים ריהוט ותחזוקה ברמה מעולה של 100 כוכבים. שירות אדיר בכל המלון. החל מרמת הדלפק כניסה ועד רמת שירות חדרים וארוחות בוקר. מלון יוצא דופן ויפה בצורה בלתי רגילה. עם חוף ים וטבע משגע.

Just the food needs improvement, they are very nice but the good is very limited the menu at the pool room service etc, of this gets fixed I can tell you this resort would be untouchable, small improvements in menu and execution

The location is great, a vast space directly connected to sea with a fluent human transition from the pool to the beach. Multiple shadowed sitting areas, helpful and kind staff. It is also climately well designed as the dinning area is located in an area which has morning pleasent shadows from the mountains above, which enables the guests to dine their breakfast outside and the whole venue itself feels intimate even when the hotel is full. Mainly because it is divided to several places for breakfast. Same thing relevant for the pools planning scheme. Well thought out. Downside - the gym is a very old one, they should renovating it making it more up to date and bigger. The food is good but not amazing. Overall it’s a perfectly place be in during summer

Το προσωπικό ήταν πολύ εξυπηρετικό, φιλικό και ευγενικό. Η τοποθεσία εξαιρετική. Ωραίες και καθαρές εγκαταστάσεις και πολύ όμορφος ο κήπος. Το φαγητό ωραίο με πολλές επιλογές και καλή ποιότητα. Μας άρεσαν ιδιαίτερα τα γλυκά. Ιδανική επιλογή για οικογένειες με μικρά παιδιά. Θα θέλαμε να ξαναπάμε!!.

Φιλοξενία όνομα και πράγμα τρομερά ευγενικό το προσωπικό με γρήγορη εξυπηρέτηση ειδικά τα κορίτσια στο kids club χαμογελαστές και εξαιρετικές με τα παιδάκια η κόρη μου περνούσε ώρες εκεί αυτό ήταν μεγάλη χαρά η γυμνάστρια του ξενοδοχείου πολύ καλή..γενικά οι εργαζόμενοι έφτιαχναν ένα πολύ ευχάριστο περιβάλλον

Δν μου αρέσε λίγο οι παροχές σε σχέση με την τιμή μπορούσε να είχε κάτι παραπάνω αλλά δν είναι αυτός λόγος εννοείται ότι θα ξαναπάω στο ξενοδοχείο στο μέλλον

Comfortable bed. The crew was very nice and tried to accommodate everything we needed

- we wanted to eat at the al-a-cart restaurant but they said it is fully booked although there were empty tables throughout the entire evening

Beautiful Hotel! Excellent location, great beach and pool. The grounds are meticulously maintained. Sufficient and protected parking with a manned gate 24/7. Breakfast is fabulous and included in the price. Beach and pool service was pretty good. Staff is friendly and helpful. I stayed over a week and was on a first name basis with some of the staff. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Concierge was also great. He found us beautiful bouquets for a holiday dinner the day of a major holiday in Greece. The flowers were delivered right to our room. Overall this was an excellent hotel and I will be back next year.

Bed was small, two twins pushed together. Hotel is a bit noisy as it was a full house when we stayed. Many babies crying throughout the night, obviously not the hotel's fault, but we could hear it through the walls and in hallways. Food and drinks are a bit pricey, but quite good, so no complaints.

Parking, Reception, Pool area and beach area were all very modern and good service.

The second building, where the rooms are located, feels very outdated and unfortunately doesn’t offer good value for money. Walking into the beautiful reception is quite deceiving, as the accommodation building itself is noticeably less modern and doesn’t live up to the standard you would expect from the reception area.

Good location with easy access to the city, nice beach, good breakfast

After our first night, my wife woke up with a line of insect bites along her arm. We went to a dermatologist, who examined her and diagnosed a parasitic bite reaction (παρασιτική κνήφη), consistent with bedbugs, and issued a written prescription. What followed was the real disappointment. We informed the hotel and were not offered a room change or any alternative accommodation. Instead, the staff phoned our doctor to dispute the diagnosis and repeatedly told us they hold the relevant hygiene certificates, as if a certificate on file settled the issue. We ended up cutting our stay short by three nights, because staying was not an option. We asked for a refund of the unused nights and were refused. Even setting the bites aside, the handling of the situation was what made this unacceptable. A possible bedbug issue is a serious matter, and the minimum response should be to move us and inspect the room. Arguing with the guest's doctor and keeping the money for nights we couldn't stay is not hospitality. We will not stay here again and would advise others to consider carefully.

Facilities - beach and pool are great!

Dinner and lunch options not very good - a lot of frozen meat and the à la carte menu restaurant wasn’t so special to draw customers away from the buffet.
