Room was nice

There was construction in the property and was noisy due to construction workers Shower was not working properly

our booking included breakfast but they refused saying booking.com gave us a discount and we payed way too less even for the room we chose. i believe they could have solved the matter with booking.com and gave us what was advertised also there was a contruction busy and we couldnt rest enough on saturday as they were busy in the morning

From the entrance, the property looked more like a construction site than a guest facility, with building materials scattered throughout the area. In addition, several trucks were parked outside, further contributing to the untidy and unwelcoming appearance. The gate was open, but there was no receptionist available to assist me, leaving me waiting outside for some time. As I was unsure what was happening, I noticed the Uhuru restaurant on the corner of the street and took a chance by calling them to find out whether they were associated with the same facility. A staff member from the restaurant came to assist me and was able to locate the receptionist. She explained that it was too cold for her to remain at the reception area, which was why she was unavailable when I arrived. Overall, this created a poor first impression and made the check-in process unnecessarily inconvenient and frustrating.

I was given the keys and informed that, due to ongoing renovations, I would need to drive to a different location where my accommodation was situated. Upon arriving at the second property, I parked my vehicle and spent quite some time walking around trying to locate my room. I had expected that a staff member would be available to guide me or show me to the accommodation, but no assistance was provided. This made the arrival process confusing and unnecessarily inconvenient.

The shower doesn't drain, I was showering in a puddle. I sent an email via booking.com and I got no response There's no place to put your toiletries in the shower There's no drinking water offered in the room, nor is there a fridge The kettle does not turn off unless you manually switch it off - I would've reported this, but figured I'd get the same response I did with the shower.

The rooms are spacious and clean.

The location. Its sandwiched in between some noisy places. On the one side there was a club/ pub or whatever it was, but its Hella noisy and difficult to sleept. The second night noise was coming from both sides. Music that is. Till late night.

I love that the hotel is Christian-friendly. They also host Sunday services. I absolutely loved the fact that my room had a Bible in both English and Afrikaans!!! The managers were absolutely adorable and amazing. Great personality! Much love for the LORD!!!

The room was very clean. The staff was very friendly, especially the cleaning ladies and the chefs and ohhhhh! One particular chef truly stole my heart. The receptionist was also friendly and patient. I would definitely like to come check in again because I really enjoyed my stay which was very peaceful.

The photos and facilities that are posted on Booking.com of this property do not match the property at all. There are no restaurant and no pool loungers with drinks being served next to the pool. On request to use the restaurant facility as advertised, we were advised to drive out and eat elsewhere. The photos of decorated tables, dinner, and desserts are fake.You can only request breakfast in a poorly over clutterred reception area. The property's outside area is full of maintenance work in progress. The rooms require maintenance work. The curtain rails are broken with no curtains. The rooms smell bad. There are light fittings missing, and overall, it's dirty.

Rooms on bookings not same as the actual rooms. I was given room that l didn't book. Only to find that the rooms are empty and nobody stays there.18-20.

The room furniture was old, the walls needed painting, and the bathroom needs a proper shower. On Sunday morning, there was a church service on the premises, we were woken up by music and singing.

I Had an approximate R500 credit owing to me due to own decision room and duration change about three weeks in advance. This could not be refunded to me and the arrangements around the travel was of such a nature that this could not be used as a voucher or credit. did have breakfast one morning that a friend paid and did ask for a toated and cheese sandwich which was provided. no Clarity provided by the staff on this matter

Staff were very accommodating and even offered a shuttle service to the airport at 5:45am in the morning and made me feel like it was no problem at all and were perfectly on time/ahead of time

I loved the family setup.

The room didn't have Air Conditioner or Fan. There were alot of mosquitos which entered through the open windows.
