Struttura totalmente deludente
Adorable unique property with friendly professional staff.
clean, fun decor, comfortable, refrigerator, firepit
hot tub closed, pool cold, showerhead too high and not adjustable/removable, what happened to the cool retro phone? Restaurant closed.
Easy to get to downtown, fun fire pit at night. Comfortable bed
Rooms are great, comfortable and gave us all that we needed. We enjoyed the firepit, even though it was summer it is a nice touch.
The staff could be a bit friendlier and more engaging ... for a resort town.
It was a great value for a place to stay in Bend, with the accommodation cost in Bend we were pleasantly surprised at how nice the place was for the price. The hotel is very centrally located and an easy walk to downtown. The outdoor firepit was a nice place to sit, enjoy and meet new people.
Would have been nice if the Bar was open 7 days a week.
Adorably updated
So cute and kitschy! Great location.
Nothing
Great service, comfortable accommodations, and pool and s’mores for the kiddos!
The desk chair stool and inflated mattress could be a little more comfortable. Onsite parking is tough to find.
The location (as far as convenient and close to so much in Bend), setup and vibe were all great.
The immediate streets surrounding the property did not feel safe; however just a few blocks away, there was a really nice park for enjoyable dog walks. We had a frustrating issue regarding early check-in that was promised but not delivered, so hopefully the property has since remedied the communication failures between the answering service and the front desk staff.
Great amenities including pool, hot tub, firepit, on site camp store, bar and restaurant. Great location, walking distance to downtown Bend
Pet friendly, spacious, and all Amenities.
Nice if hot tube and gas fire pit outdoors stayed open till 11:00.
Front desk check in was nice and easy. Was able to park in front of the room. Comfy beds.
Maybe just our room but the fan was insanely loud and vibranted the wood outside making it pretty noticable.
Clean, comfortable, cozy room. Bedding good quality.
Fridge a little small and filled with unneeded drinks. Had to pull everything out to store my food. Also, I am perfectly ok reusing bath towels, but having a rack to dry the towels on would have been good.
We liked the room design, but the room itself was a bit smaller than we imagined. It's well located and close to downtown.
I believe it's a bit overpriced for what it is.
Rooms were spacious. Nice pool. Good location.
Spa jets were almost nonexistent. Pricey for no continental breakfast provided.
Lit trés confortable Personnel serviable
Chambres mal éclairées Douche dans les wc (ou l’inverse) Pas d’intimité
Clean and comfortable
Noisy onsite with pool party upon arrival and loud traffic, garbage collection, construction can be heard through walls during the day, late into evening, and early morning. Ear plugs are provided.
Such a fun creative place to stay!!! LOVED the actual campfire, the location, the whole vibe!
That i had to go home!
Consistent and reliable amenities Rooms always very clean No carpet, makes it feel cleaner and better for allergies Taco truck and coffee truck in the morning Pretty quiet even though there were lots of people and families mid week
Not enough parking when coming back late at a concert, but close enough street parking
Rustic and cute idea.
Rooms were dated, and a group of undomiciled folks were on the corner all day and into the night using drugs and drinking. It didn't feel safe to leave any bags in the car.
What a fun time! We came for a concert but were delighted to find so much on property to entertain us. The pool/hot tub with adjoining canteen along with the breakfast burritos made the stay top notch - will be back!
Das Hotel war sehr gut und das Personal freundlich. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit :) Danke!
--
Very cutely renovated old hotel with a very comfortable bed. Didn't feel $350/1 night valuable especially having to park on the street next to some folks in the bushes because there was zero parking in the lot.
Parking, value
Everything but they need a restroom down in pool area..
Need a restroom in pool area
I loved being able to sit by the campfire at night and roast marshmallows.
No working phone in room.
Awesome! Super fun place with a great vibe and great stocked mini bar and other treats. Loved the pool and hot tub and location directly next to Fire On The Mountain. Dogwood was around the corner too - good food and drinks. We borrowed bikes to ride into town which was great and made a huge difference for us with no car.
Front desk person was a bit short and snippy. Also, when we booked (on booking) all they had left was an ADA room so we took it, but it was significantly smaller than all the other rooms. We asked to change on Friday when it was not full and they said they couldn’t because they were full on Saturday. The manager who was super nice gave us a Bit of a discount - but beware when booking. Also there are no closets - just a kind of clothes rack. We had to ask for hangers at the front desk.
Beautiful property. Good vibes. Love the pool and fire pit!
Everything in Bend is so expensive and this hotel is expensive too!
Very pet friendly Very informative on hotel amenities Friendly staff
Nothing
Proximity was good to Old Mill area but there were a lot of homeless in the area.
Rooms are subpar. Rooms were dark and the lighting fixtures had chicken wire on them. Edgy or trashy, you decide. Hollow core doors throughout, original bathroom fixtures with a bunch of caulk, grey commercial carpet tiles that didn’t seem clean.
Camp theme, vibe
Bathroom was tiny, dated, extremely low to floor toilet, extremely high to ceiling shower head
The motel has a nice pool and hot tub. There is a bonfire at night for guests to sit around. It's redecorated with the campfire theme, which is cute. The location is very close to downtown Bend. There is parking at the motel.
The hotel was decorated on the outside, but the infrastructure was old. For example, the air conditioner roared loudly. The bathroom fixtures were clean but old.
If you want to get out of the ordinary hotel/motel stay the Campfire is for you. As the name suggests the motif is based around the outdoors and the rooms are decorated accordingly. They even have foldup chairs in the room! The outside has a large fire pit that I would guess is very popular in the winter. The staff are very congenial and the outdoor pool is quite popular. There is even a wonderful breakfast burrito truck parked there that is very popular.. With all this said I would not recommend the Campfire to most Seniors who value quiet as it is a young person/family type atmosphere and it can get quite noisy. They even provide earplugs in the rooms to mitigate the joy outside. With all said it is a fun place & recommended for most.
I wasn't certain what to expect but we had a clean room, with access to a small fridge (just take out the cans that act as a mini bar and put them back before you leave) and some comfortable seating. They included two old school lawn chairs for sitting outside (or to double as a nightstand because they only had one from a king bed) While I kiind of liked the design of the clothing holder next to the sink-I would have prefered a dresser for the clothing. We just left most clothing in our suitcases since they provided to suitcase valet stands. The bed was a bit hard for me but I got used to it. For the price, especially with the saltwater pool and hottub, it was a handly place to stay with easy access to the Hayden Home Amphitheater, a variety of restaurants, and the river. Housekeeping is upon request only and there is no in room safe place to store anything valuable but we didn't bring anything pricey to float the river. We had a great time on the trip and the feel of the lobby, the fun of the bar and the chance to be able t order or pick up food and eat outside overlooking the pool was wonderful. The best thing about this vacation spot? The STAFF!!! Every person we interacted with at the front desk were friendly, helpful and kind. The bartender, also a lot of fun and kind-and she mixes a mean old fashioned!
The kitschy theme was fun. The campfire was nice to sit by but far from our room. The bed was comfortable.
Our room was very dark with no natural light and smelled like strong cleaning chemicals when we checked in. Over our 5 night stay the cleaning chemical smell dissipated and the room and all our clothes smelled musty like a damp basement. The TV only worked for streaming but the wifi kept cutting out every few minutes so was basically unusable. The AC was very loud. There was no housekeeping service during our multiple night stay, not changing trash and towels at least once was odd.
It is a friendly, clean and affordable hotel. We enjoyed the coffee in the am and the cozy bar area. Have stayed 3 x and the staff at the desk are very sweet
It is taking time for me to recover my 100 deposit Checked out early checked in late they said it would take a couple of hours still waiting. Besides this it was okay but it took 10 minutes to find my room a big property
Waiting for my deposit of 100 bucks
We were happily surprised by how quiet our room was! Nice that there was body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Some of them weren't refilled, but the staff brought us more when asked. The beds were hard, but other than that the room was really comfortable. I appreciated all the outdoor spaces that were available for guest use.
softer and newer beds, soap and conditioner refilled,
Food trucks centrally located
Parking
The vibe is really laid back. 10" fire pit was amazing. Alot of places to hang out.
My husband and I love the vibe of this place. A heated pool, a giant fire pit, and lots of string lights made for a wonderful evening! The rooms are quite large and the decor is very fun. The hotel is also within walking distance of downtown, so that made it easy to walk to dinner. We have been here twice now and will definitely be back when we come to Bend again!
100% Overrated. Quiet Time @ 10pm. Won't stay again. Cheap Motel w/a Facelift.
Location in Bend.
Great esthetic with the camping theme
Parking can be a little tight, but there was enough overflow.
very fun, colorful, interesting
Large, comfortable and clean room.
Very noisey. Could easily hear conversations and snoring in the adjacent room.
Great vibes, comfy bed and dog friendly.
Lots of towels, I like they had conditioner. the pool and hot tub were excellant
The fan is a little loud although easy to control, The mattresses must be covered with plastic because they were noisy everytime you got into bed
Liked the fire pit area . Close to restaurants
A bit expensive for an older property
Location
Bed was incredibly uncomfortable
The ambiance was perfection.
Nothing. It was amazing.
Great pool
10 pm everything closed down, I understand it’s a city rule, also neighborhood a little sketchy
The pool area was nice
Windows fogged up in room Toilet malfunctioning and made a noise every 20 minutes all night Strong cleaners used between guests- had to open doors and windows and took a long time to clear Too expensive for what it was
It was amazing!!
It was all good!
Room was clean, enjoyed the outdoor hot tub, fire pit and small bar on site
My TV never worked because it kept buffering and stopping, not sure if that was a WiFi problem. It’s also backs up to 2nd street where they a huge homeless problem so you will hear some yelling and see some tents
The pool, overall style, fire pit, and location is great.
The room floor was so dirty the children’s feet were black anytime they weren’t in shoes inside the room. Our white towels would turn brown, simply by stepping on them on the floor.
Very nice hotel. Loved the salt water pool and hot tub
Small parking lot, small pet relief area, and lots of homeless nearby
Unique environment with attention to details in decorating. Encourages meeting other travelers around the fire pit and poo. Great food trucks in the parking lot in the morning for breakfast and coffee purchase
It is located on a major busy road, but once you get down into the property you feel like you are in a unique environment.
Convenient on the main road.
Room was very spacious and functional. Bed was super comfortable.
Bathroom could have been better, specifically the shower, a lot of pressure issues-- either really high pressure or low pressure in showers.
This was our second time staying here and it didn’t disappoint! Love the short walk to downtown, pool, and comfy rooms. We’ll come back again!
The light went out over our bathroom sink and the staff was quick to respond, but it seems it was just an old fixture- it continued to work only intermittently. Shower also got the bathroom wet and there was no blow dryer in our room. Just very tiny details that were missing!
Location was great . Easy to get to town, shopping, and entertainment. Near many restaurant options. Great little food truck court a half block behind the building.
Parking was a bit of a challenge, looked like many resorted to street parking because they had oversized vehicles. Beds were a bit soft, we were used to firm mattresses. Quiet time was 10pm but we could clearly hear people until 130 in the morning.
Incredible location. Lots of food options and activities within walking distance. The pool was kept clean and is a good size. There's lots of outdoor seating, both in the pool area and throughout the hotel property. The decor was themed without being cheesy or over the top. The desk and nightstands were very sturdy. Gave me lots of options for storage. The chairs were very comfortable. I absolutely fell in love with the shower head and the water pressure. And thank god for actual liquid hand soap at a hotel! I was so relieved they had normal hand soap (instead of a bar of soap like at most hotels I've been to). All of the soap, shampoo, lotion, etc smelled amazing.
The room was very dark. The only way to get natural light is to leave the blinds/curtains on the window open, and that means everyone walking outside can see your entire room without trying. Otherwise, you'll have to have two lamps on and an overhead light just to see the room clearly. It might have just been a problem with my room, but small flies were always either gathering at or coming from the sink, especially in the morning. The bathroom is also very small. The hotel internet was very slow and occasionally cut out entirely. The AC unit is loud and the walls are thin, but they do provide complementary ear plugs.
Staff were great
You can tell it was and old hotel and just painted and decorated to be cute. The hotel definitely brings a party crowd with lots of noise. There’s even provided ear buds… not impressed with noise levels. Drinks throughout property and music going till 10pm.
This hotel has a cute kitschy vibe and was recommended as a place to stay in Bend. It is a 2+ star at best. Motel 6 dressed up. The bed was not comfortable, chipping paint, boisterous crowded pool. Definitely for 20 something’s hip vibe. For the price I expected thematic but nice. I stayed there with my son, I was disappointed.
Location
Pool was not heated at all, they advertised heated pool it’s not
Asked for extra blankets, got them immediately the room was really clean and spacious
It was very noisy as we were on the bottom floor and kids above us were jumping from 6 am
Very pleasant
Loud people around fire pit late into the night
Creative, stylish
Nice property
Location amenities and cost are all benefits.
Pool music too loud and long into the evening.
Love the property!
I would have given it a 10 but the pool temperature was too cold.
Good location for our needs
The rooms were dark, needed more lighting. The name has Hotel but this is a motel. The room open directly to parking lots.
This was close to downtown and liked the atmosphere.
For the price (which we only stayed 1 night) i didn’t feel it was worth it. But again, I was not able to fully enjoy all the amenities. Parking is very hard
Very charming character and nice amenities and staff
The mattresses were uncomfortable and the heater was very noisy.
Design is fun and outdoor amenities (plus canteen) were great
Room 120 needs some real attention. I reported the slow draining sink as well as the art wallpaper which was loose, buckling, and basically falling off the wall...but additionally there is a bunch of caulk missing in the bathroom and just general upkeep/maintenance (especially in the bathroom) that seems to be lacking. At this price point I was expecting more attention to these sorts of details.
Very nice stay, could use an extractor fan in bathroom for moisture. Lovely front desk person recommended fun pub with food truck around corner. Great recommendation.
The atmosphere! The decor inside and out!
The resturant was closed during a weekday. The fire pit, pool, spa not staying open a tad later .
This is our 3rd time staying at the campfire hotel while in Bend, twice with just my partner and myself and once with us and our two dogs. Both times have been very nice. We would highly recommend if you’re looking for a cute hotel or are traveling with pets.
Parking is first come first serve so it can be difficult to find a spot. We love staying here but it can be a bit expensive.
I like the vibe that the Campfire Hotel is creating. Lots of people hang out at the communal fire pit in the evening. Chill music going through the speakers on the property. The hot tub was a great temperature and the main swimming pool was nice. The double queen bed room was exactly as described and beds were comfortable.
I was in room 121 at the very end of a building. The Wifi connection was poor and kept cutting out on the Roku TV. I had to reconnect several times. Overall, the location is a little noisy. Ear plugs are provided in the room but I didn't need them.
The people were great, the vibes, the snacks, super clean!
Parking lot is kinda tight but I don’t even care. Everything was great!
It was OK. Nothing really to highlight.
Location wasn’t great. Nefarious men hanging behind the property/on the side streets. Not that big of a deal, just as a woman it can be limiting to walking solo. It use to probably be some sort of motel and they added some colorful paint to make it more aesthetic. Bathrooms are dated. Expensive for what it is. I think it’s probably worth paying a little more for a place in more of downtown or on the river. If you’ve stayed at the Jupiter in Portland it’s a similar idea — different look — except the Jupiter chargers rates that make sense for what you’re getting ($89 for a room). Staff is very kind though!!
It’s a really fun place to stay!
The two bedrooms needed better air flow, otherwise we’re fine
At this point... not much. This was my 3rd stay and a surprise stay with my partner and we were both very disappointed.
Arrived to an unbelievably loud "dance party"... so the pool and hot tub were unusable. The front desk agent was so stoned he could barely speak. We were given the worst room and told they were fully booked and no upgrades were available. This is consistent with Booking.com reaervations... you will always get the worst room on the property. One guest actually left saying the felt unsafe because of the pool party crowd. Not enough towels in the room for 2 people. House phones are for "decoration" no telephones in the rooms. Sloppy paint job. Hair in the sink. Cracked aink bowl. Homeless hangout at the corner. We will not be back
Check in was easy, staff was very friendly. Nice pool, hot tub, and food carts nearby.
For the price, the hotel was very old. You can tell they have put a lot of work into it though to make more pet friendly and comfy stay. The carpet int he room was really dirty, like made our socks black on the bottoms kind of dirty.
That it had a pool and was pet friendly
Nowhere does it say you must be 21+ to book here. I am 19 I have stayed here by myself before. They were rude and unwilling to give me a solution. They told me we could not stay here after I already paid.
Love the amenities and access to everything.
We were on the first floor and the people above us were very loud
The pool and the ambiance
I don’t have any complaints
It feels like the walls are paper, thin.
The big huge fire pit, the saltwater pool and hot tub. The check-in room is pretty cool free coffee.
It was a cool vibe, we were excited about the pool and that they were pet friendly.
The biggest thing was that we did not know there was a DJ party going on and I was with my young children and they wanted to go to the pool but not with the party that was going on.
A lot of little kids running around without adult supervision (baseball tournament)
Very clean and lots of amenities to offer.
The only downside was that that bar attached to the hotel is supposed to be open on Sundays but, upon check-in, I was told that they were not going to be opening that day. So I didn't get a chance to check it out.
Atmosphere , amenities and location.
Bathroom
Love the camping theme and the size and comfort of the rooms. Staff was wonderful. Burrito truck was a plus as well.
Almost everything! (seriously): Front desk staff is exceptionally genuine and kind.
Only one thing: the beds I am hoping that Campfire starts charging more $ so they can invest in more comfortable beds.
Fun, funky with amazing amenities for the value. Thoughtful staff, and super in room amenities. Hot tub and heated pool were outstanding. Better than many like properties.
Only comment is that the hot tub and fire pit closed at 10. Although we would have loved to use them later, the quiet hour policy was enforced, and the property was delightfully quiet.
It had rustic charm. It was only a half mile from downtown.
The lighting was very dim. It was challenging to read in our room or do my makeup. We had a king room but only one nightstand and lamp.
Pool and Spa
Hand soap and body soap were empty
