Reviewed Aug 17, 2025La propiedad está en la azotea instalación muy antiguas estacionamiento privado pero lo cierran sin previo aviso a los huéspedes una escuela en la parte de abajo aledaños a la propiedad y anuncios con altavoz a los alumnos mucho tráfico de autos, muy mala experiencia tenía 3 noches 4 días y solo me pude quejar una no hubo reembolso no recomendable

Reviewed Mar 17, 2025es muy linda la dueña del lugar muy atenta y comprensible muy ordenada el lugar lo fue remodelando hasta quedar como está ahorita tiene detalles en el arreglo del lugar muy bonitos y aparte todo está funcional para nosotros que viajamos con bebé de año y lesión nos dejó la recámara donde hay una matrimonial y una individual así que pudimos estar a gusto y aunque el desayuno es sencillo la verdad por lo mismo de mi niño que no come cosas tan procesadas estuvo excelente y tiene un estacionamiento donde puedes dejar tu coche sin ningún problema y está muy bien ubicado en la calle aledaña a la catedral así que sales y caminando llegas y puedes recorrer el centro sin ningún problema

Reviewed Jan 9, 2025I had a lovely stay at Casa Xola! View was lovely and location was so walkable. Breakfast included for some eggs, yogurt, and granola. I came in December and so I didn’t need AC. Would definitely stay again! Charming little place. WiFi also worked well for me to work.

It's so quiet inside, you won't believe how close you are to the cathedral, restaurants, shopping and all rhe associated action. Wonderful breakfasts and great attention from the staff. All the roomsare up one or 2 long staircases so it's not for the really mobility challenged.

You are walking distance ( minutes ) from the center of Morelia. Next time I go to Morelia I will make it my place to stay. And definitely recommend it.

Reviewed Jul 17, 2023Me encanto sobretodo porque la unica distribución que hay es la naturaleza de la terraza y la bellesa de las decisiones, me pareció fantástico que no tengan televisores las habitaciones. Puedes conectar contigo mismo, leer un buen libro o simplemente disfrutar de la vista en la terraza. No de diga de la anfitriona excelente atención.

Also, there was a private patio adjacent to our room where we could play cards and chess. The owner was lovely and served a nice breakfast in the morning. Also, parking for our car was a real plus!

The breakfast is so delicious. A short distance walk to the center of the historic square. No TV or A/C, though really not needed.

Room was small but beautiful, i had everything needed. It was walking distance from the plaza, cathedral, museums, theaters, and many more attractions. I can't wait and visit again, hopefully stay longer.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2022Beautiful views, central location wonderful service delicious breakfast. This place has it all! We stayed in one of the patio rooms on the main level across from the dining room. The room was large and comfortable with a ceiling fan that kept us cool. The water pressure in the shower is fantastic! We enjoyed evenings on the upper level listening to the bells of the cathedral and the cool breeze as well as all the wonderful plants that make it feel like a secluded park. Would highly recommend a stay here at Casa Xola (just be sure you don’t mind stairs) Forget the car you can walk or Uber anywhere. There are 1-3 flights of stairs depending on where you sleep, be prepared.

Reviewed Feb 7, 2020Our stay at Casa Xola was exactly what I imagined! After doing one night at one of the fancy old colonial hotels in Morelia, I wanted a different experience. Casa Xola's charming, Mexican-crafts aesthetic definitely came through as pictured. Our room (4) looked exactly like the pictures, which I greatly appreciate. The cute pup & cat on the property definitely add to the charm. The location can't be beat. The simple continental breakfast was complemented with eggs made-to-order. Arleigh lives on site and was extremely helpful in recommending a driver/tour guide (Jesus Lopez- 10/10!) I think this place really shines in warm weather. Our room was quite chilly in early February, and having a space heater would have been nice. TIP: Bring your own shampoo & conditioner! Bar soap is included.
