Lo único que me pareció un poco incomodo es el tamaño de la habitación, para mi gusto esta un poco pequeña, pero todo lo demás esta super bien.

Reviewed Jul 26, 2026My friends and I had a wonderful 2 night stay at this hotel. Everything was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Not a five star hotel by any means, but it is very good and exactly what we needed. It’s in a great location right in the central historic district and the restaurant (LU) downstairs is outstanding. We had delicious meals there every day. They were very accommodating for my being gluten-free and dairy free. (Guess I should write a review separately for the restaurant, but wanted to say how happy we all were with the food AND accommodations). Even though things got noisy on the plaza at night, it was easy to get a good night’s rest. The front desk and cleaning staff were great.And of course, being so centrally located, we could walk to almost all the sites we were interested in. I would return to the Hotel Casino Morelia again and would definitely recommend it to others.

Reviewed Jul 22, 2026The entire staff at Hotel Casino Morelia were incredibly friendly and very helpful. You were always greeted with a smile and a cordial, "Buenos días." They answered many of my questions and guided me as to where to go to sightsee and what banks to go to for a better dollar to peso conversion. Truly, it was the most beautiful hotel I've stayed at in all of México over the last 30 years of traveling there and the daily rate for staying there was very affordable. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel to anyone visiting Michoacán's beautiful & historic capital city, Morelia!
That I couldn't stay any longer than 4 days there. Had I had more time on my trip, I would've stayed an entire week!

Me dieron la habitacion mas lejos que tenían. No expecifique en la reserva que traía baston y no podía caminar mucho . Las habitaciones que dan al Centro las tienen para clientes regulares . No aparecen en la página. Bien ....pero no regreso .hay mejores opciones ahi en el Centro y no aparecen en Booking.

Reviewed Jul 6, 2026La ubicación en general demasiado centrica, aunque el estacionamiento no, pero es entendible ya que es zona historica. No probe alimentos dentro del restaurante ya que fue solo una parada para continuar nuestro viaje.
No me gusto que cuando usamos el baño, el lavabo estaba tapado, y el agua se salio por la coladera, me meti a bañar y empezo a salir el agua por la coladera, pensamos que era solo momentaneo, pero no, eso era como que llevaba dias, afortunadamente nos cambiaron de habitación, pero el problema fue en la noche, mucho ruido demasiado ruido por mantenimiento o no se que era, pero esa un ruido tremendo de las personas que hablaban y pasaban.

Reviewed Jul 6, 2026Excelente ubicación, muy limpio, la habitación es pequeña pero cómoda, aunque no me permitía reservar habitaciones de Balcón con nuestra niña menor, la reservé para 2 adultos sin niños, y no tuvimos ningún problema al recibir la habitación con nuestra hija.
El desayuno es limitado, te dan solo fruta, un poco de yogurt, un café y un jugo. Si quieres algo más debes pagarlo. El estacionamiento queda a unas 3 cuadras de distancia y tiene horario limitado.

Reviewed Jul 4, 2026Fantastiskt läge precis vid torget i centrum. Hotellet ligger i en fin gammal byggnad. Restaurangen har bra mat.
I en del rum är det extremt lyhört. Vi fick ett rum som var vänt mot lobbyn och när musiken tystnade vid ca kl 02.30 så började ljuden från lobbyn istället när personal skulle påbörja sina skift och gäster kom mitt i natten. Man kunde till och med höra folks samtal när de åt frukost, det låter som att de är inne i ditt rum. Många rum saknar fönster vilket man inte får information om i förväg när man bokar. Vi stannade i fyra nätter men efter att inte sovit en blund på två nätter var vi helt slutkörda. Då fick vi till slut byta vilket gjorde att de sista två nätterna blev mycket bättre.

Also their restaurant. lu features beautiful food combinations, many of them of purepecha origin. Location is right across from the plaza perfect for anyone visiting the historic district.

No voy a juzgar o acusar, pero pues uno sabe lo que trae y lo que tiene, desconozco al olvidar una chamarra quien esculco los bolsillos que desapareció un dinero, no es tanto la cantidad ya que no era mucho pero si la acción, además que ya íbamos de salida y no contábamos.conas efectivo a causa de eso que tuvo OS que acudir a un cajero para pagar nuestro taxi casi perdemos nuestro autobús!!!

El estacionamiento esta a 3 calles del hotel. Se entiende ya que en la época de construcción de esas casonas no estaba contemplado el estacionamiento 😁 Pero aun así vimos lo positivo. Ya que pudimos admirar mas calles y casas antiguas caminando

The service at hotell was not good. The standard of hotel room was awful. I complain- they would not listend and could not care less. If that is the attitude of the workers, as an owner I would be scared. Rooms needs refurbishment for int. costumers. The food had a strange tast. Seamed to higher prices there than elsewere in Morelia. They did not have a shuttle from / to aeropuerto Morelia, and it is fare away.

Las habitaciones y el baño son un poco antiguas, les vendría bien una remodelación. No hay aire acondicionado pero hay dos ventiladores, sin embargo uno de estos sonaba muy fuerte. Cuando llegamos encontramos pelos en la ducha, es decir que el aseo no estaba bien hecho.

No me gustó que no hubiera valet parking, tuvimos que ir a dejar nosotros mismos el coche al estacionamiento que concesiona el hotel que está como a cuatro cuadras, igualmente cuando nos fuimos tuvimos que ir por él. Nos quedamos una noche, de viernes a sábado, y el sábado a las 8 de la mañana empezaron a hacer arreglos en otras habitaciones, y aunque el ruido no era excesivo, sí fue molesto, sobre todo si tomamos en cuenta que era sábado en la mañana, uno de esos días para levantarse tarde.

We chose this hotel because the site says the beds are queen sized, but they are doubles. Our guests with us were very tall and the bed was very small for them - the rooms are very large - definitely space for bigger beds.
