Очень дружелюбный персонал, расположение очень хорошее до черепашьего пляжа идти 2 минуты. Номера сами по себе не люкс, но и это не Турция, думаю тут везде так. Соотношение цена-качество вполне приемлемо.

Единственный минус, могу отметить это совмещённые балконы на 2 этаже. Для кого-то может будет и плюс , если с соседями сдружится.

Нам очень понравилось месторасположение, рядом черепаший пляж, все кафешки, очень удобно Отдельная благодарность персоналу, очень отзывчивые, помогали при каждом случае. У нас бывало, не работал интернет - сразу подключали Сломался фен - тут же принесли новый. Уборка была каждый день. Номер большой, 2 огромные кровати, вид на океан с балкона. Сам отель новый, свежий, не уставший. Большой балкон с сушкой для белья (это редкость в отелях)

Не работал сейф, но ничего в номере не пропало Ценные вещи все на месте остались.

This hotel is fabulous for its location to the beach and to nearby restaurants and bars in Hikkaduwa. The rooms are very spacious, and there’s even a little drying rack in the room which was very much appreciated. Comfortable bed, lots of sunlight through the windows, sea view - what more could you want! The staff were also extremely friendly and welcoming. I’ll be back to stay here.

Для Хикки вполне приличный отель. Находится в 2 мин от пляжа. Чисто, уютно. Вежливый и заботливый персонал. Нормальный Wi-Fi.

Понравилось местоположение. Пляж буквально через главную дорогу. Рядом много кафешек с видом на океан. Недалеко большой супермаркет Sandagiri. Персонал доброжелательный.

Еле нашли отель- никакой вывески. Только наклеена бумажка с номером What's app. Вечером закрывается на код-ключ-внутрь попасть мы не могли, хорошо,что таксист нас не бросил, позвонил и не уехал,пока нас не впустили. В ванной комнате довольно просторный душ со стеклянной дверью, которая открывается ТОЛЬКО наполовину, потому что упирается в вешалку для полотенец, боялись что разобьём её. Чайник в номере есть,а чашек нету. Попросили-дали, так же,как и полотенца для рук.

Очень понравился панорамный вид из окна, расположение, чистота. Уборка была каждый день, просто супер. Нам даже предоставили кроватку для малыша. Около отеля вдоль дороги есть шаурменная, очень вкусно. Если вдруг приспичит покушать поздно, очень рекомендуем.

Шумновато от кафе рядом, но это не было большой проблемой.

The rooms are large, comfortable king size bed, tea and coffee making facility plus fridge for cold drinks. Large modern shower room, balcony with chairs. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good location off the main road so close to restaurants but quiet.

The top floors of the building have not been completed and the outlook is a bit grim.

Потрясающий отель за свою цену. Персонал всегда готов прийти на помощь, убираются каждый день! Завтраки вкусненькие, свежевыжатые соки, кофе великолепный! Номер прям огромный был для двоих, и вид на океан, это отдельная благодарность, еще и с балконом! Рядом с отелем куча кафешек, ресторанов, магазинов с продуктами, аптеки, обменники, дайвинг центры, автобусные остановки, железнодорожный вокзал. С собой даже завтрак собрали, когда мы на экскурсию в 3 часа ночи поехали. Спасибо огромное персоналу за великолепный отдых! Комаров кстати не так много, как мы думали, насекомых в комнате также не было, гиконов только в коридоре видели.

La struttura è molto accogliente. Lo staff è cordiale e ospitale, sempre disponibile in caso di necessità. Ho avuto modo di conoscere i proprietari dell’Hotel che sono il massimo dell’accoglienza. È La seconda volta che vengo qui in due anni e ormai è diventata una tappa fissa che non possiamo saltare e torneremo ogni volta che veniamo in Sri Lanka. Amiamo questo Hotel e le spiaggie di Hikka.

Мы семейная пара из Москвы, останавливались в отеле на 2 ночи в начале августа. Считается не сезон) мы правда так и не поняли, почему это время считается не сезоном - погода идеальная, жарко, океан супер, волны в Хиккадуве умеренные, с утра меньше...но нам было весело на волнах. Нас встретили очень добродушно. Иша - управляющая, очень приятная девушка. Всегда интересовались нашими делами, спрашивали, нуждаемся ли в чём-то. Завтрак восхитительный, всё вкусно (заказывали омлет, яичницу, банановый десерт🫶) Пляж совсем рядом - 2 мин. Много рестиков и кафешек , где можно вкусно поесть. Мы были в отеле почти одни (еще одни турисьы были, но мы их даже не видели). Были неполадки с раковиной - слив протекал, устранили неполадку в тот же день.

Идёт строительство верхних этажей отеля, шумно немного с утра. Нет бассейна.

Das Personal ist sehr nett und freundlich. Das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber.

Es fehlt ein Fahrstuhl, im Hotel wird gerade gebaut, dadurch ist es etwas staubig.

Leeg hotel , geen sfeer, geen activiteit. Gehorig Geen warm water, na doorgeven wel verbeterd ( later op de avond geen druk op het water, mss wel omdat ze probleem aan het verhelpen waren. Hierna namelijk wel warm water) Momenteel ook niet echt seizoen in dit gebied, mss dat het daaraan ligt dat het zo uitgestorven was. Ook zijn ze er nog 3 verdiepingen bovenop aan het plaatsen.

Very secure, clean and located centrally to Hikkaduwa. Didn't utilise the breakfast facility but it really wasn't required as there are ample restaurants that do breakfast nearby. The bathroom was magnificent. Great water pressure and hot water. We were one level from the top, with a little view of the beach and magnificent sunsets. The buildings around it made for great photos with the tuk tuks passing by. There is a train track a few buildings behind that can be heard. When the room is closed up its not a problem. You can hear the horn early though if it's used. The room itself was extremely clean. Had tea and coffee/kettle and hair-dryer available. Aircon worked a treat and we didn't have any days without power. Cable channels on the TV and wifi was exceptional. There is no elevator but the staff assisted with carrying our bags up. We didn't find the stairs to be an issue. Highly recommend for a stay if you are in the area.

Excellent location of the hotel. Very close to the sea. The hotel team is super professionals. Excellent breakfast and a beautiful courtyard with barbecue. Always clean and fresh in the rooms and corridors.

It's time to install an elevator and room access cards.

The best thing about the hotel was the room quality. Having toured Sri Lanka for nearly a month, we had stayed at a number of good hotel rooms let down by the bathroom quality. The Chaaya Inn, being only I think about three years old, did not disappoint in this respect with a clean modern bathroom, comfortable beds and effective air conditioning. The optional breakfast at 1500rps was also very good. The hotel is very close to the Turtle beach and we were able to watch hatchling releases on successive nights. For meals, we'd recommend the Salty Beers pub / restaurant just on the corner near the hotel, great atmosphere.

The railway line was close by, but as per previous reviewers, trains were very few and far between and so did not affect us. There is work ongoing at present to add further storeys to the building, but the work does not start early or finish late, so the owners are mindful of this.

I had a great stay at this hotel! It’s easily accessible to the beach, and we were lucky enough to have a beautiful beach view from our room. The breakfast was delicious and definitely worth the price. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, which made the experience even better. The location is fantastic for shopping, with plenty of eateries nearby. It’s a great spot if you want to be close to both the beach and all the action in the area. Highly recommend!

We were a group of six who stayed at this hotel for four nights, and we had a very pleasant experience. The hotel had a good standard, and the staff was very friendly and service-minded. We also had breakfast at the hotel, which was excellent. Every morning, we were served fresh fruit and freshly squeezed juice. The cleanliness was great—our room was cleaned and tidied up every morning. All in all, we were very satisfied with our stay!

Good location if you want to stay close to Turtle beach, diving etc. Good value for money with nice AC, big room, big bed and sea view. Staff were super friendly.

Very near a beach - within 5 min walk to Turtle Beach.

- The biggest letdown was that we thought we booked a hotel with a pool. We looked at the hotel's website and it said they had a pool (with pictures). We were surprised when we arrived and they told us they didn't have a pool. They have since took the info & pictures off their website but it was very misleading and disappointing. - The second bed in the family room did not have a blanket, just a duvet cover. When we asked for a blanket they said they didn't have one. All beds should have the same sheets and blankets. - The TV is via internet so it’s not really a working/useable TV. - The train (and main street) are very close to the hotel and are very loud. - Our room was on the second floor and our view was of a building in front of the hotel. This didn't bother us but as numerous other reviews have mentioned, it might be very disappointing to other people.

It was a nice room to stay in for a few days. It has a fridge and a working airco, so that are the most important things in a room. The staff is friendly and want to do anything for you.

The only thing was that the view is less beautiful than we thought on the pictures, but maybe because we were staying at the 2nd floor.

The hotel was very very clean, the rooms, the bathroom and the common space. Also, i recommend to try breakfast because they has some nice local food cooked ans served for you (you order one day before, no buffet) which was interesting, fresh and tasty. (I loved your pancakes with coconut). The hotel is next to the turtle beach and all the shops, restaurants etc. We rent a tuktuk and they offered us a parking place right next to the hotel.

There is a big greenish building just in front of the balcony that partially covers the seaview so you actually get the full seaview only on the highest floor. Of course it's not a real problem, the view and balcony is still nice but it's good to know.

Good location. Staff were friendly and helpful. My room was clean and spacious. Everything worked fine. Lighting was good. Large balcony with table and 2 chairs with sea views and sea breeze. The bed had clean linens and afforded me a comfortable sleep. There was a power point next to the bed. The bathroom was also spacious with an enclosed shower. Excellent hot water shower and pressure. Breakfast was western food for me with some Sri Lankan thrown in. All too much for me but I enjoyed what I could eat. Overall, I had a comfortable stay here.

There is no mosquito net, but the bathroom window allows mosquitos in. I’m covered in big angry bites :(

We had a great stay at Chaaya Inn. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The air conditioning was good and the shower was very hot and powerful. We had a big balcony with great views of the beach. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We were given two large bottles of water each day. We also had laundry done at the hotel. The location is very good, a one minute walk to where Hikkaduwa Beach and Turtle Beach meet (you can walk to Turtle Point in a couple of minutes). I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again if ever I was back in Hikkaduwa.

I have rarely seen such friendly and helpful staff in a hotel. The location of the hotel is close to the beach, restaurants bars and supermarket are in the immediate vicinity. The rooms are spacious, clean and have a great view of the sea. The facilities are of a European standard. We have extended our stay here again and can warmly recommend the hotel to anyone!

No one was there around 7.30pm to get umbrella or help to go out since there were heavy raining that time. Better you put few umbrellas around lobby in case someone need.

Very Clean, more than i was expecting in Hikkaduwa, I spotted few Spiders and few flies in room, but No Lizards or that type of insects, which are very common in Hikkaduwa, Overall Place was Excellent

We asked to change room in the highest floor, room was empty at that moment, they denied our request. I think they could change room for us, we was ready to pay more.

The rooms and the view from the rooms are as good as the pictures. I stayed in the ocean view room on the third floor and had L shaped windows and a balcony with a great view of the ocean. The staff is really sweet and helpful and keeps the property very clean.

The property doesn't have a restaurant so while they can manage a good breakfast, you can't get room service. There is also no lift so if you get a third floor room be prepared to climb. The staff will help carry your luggage but you have to carry yourself.

Very helpful staff. We got free room upgrades so everyone in our party could stay together. The rooms were spacious and clean. The morning breakfast was very good. The owner coordinated through Whatsapp and was very accommodating and helpful! Would definitely recommend staying here.

Mosquitoes, big ones. But I guess that's a general problem in the area.

Ended up with a huge triple room to myself which was spotless. Staff so so friendly and the breakfast for around 4 GBP was immense. They just kept bringing little plates of goodness😁 situated just off the main street which runs parallel to the beach so you are 30 seconds from the beach and restaurants. All in a fantastic experience can't recommend this place highly enough.

A very polite, friendly highly professional staff! Especially I recommend their breakfasts by order! They were very tasty, home cooked and very good by volume! I highly recommend this hotel!

Everything was perfectly fine! The location, the spacious room, the towels, the bed, the blanket, the VIEW over the sea. The friendly staff, Isha and other lovely ladies were so nice. Also, you will get two big bottled water. Anyway it was the best hotel in Sri Lanka for me. Moreover, I wanted late check out and they were ok with it. I cannot stop mentioning good things about the this hotel

Water cooler only on the ground floor. They don't serve breakfast during the low season. You can hear music at night and trains.
