Everything was PERFECT. An incredible hotel! The villa was very comfortable and had its own private pool. The staff is extremely polite and attentive, the main pool is beautiful, the breakfasts are excellent. The location is perfect and the entire hotel grounds are absolutely impeccable. I stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks and NEVER felt bored. They have entertainment and activities every day, plus you get your own bicycle to ride around the beautiful grounds. The SPA is absolutely impeccable. A special thank you to my spa therapist JARIYA it was truly the best massage I’ve ever had in my life! Special thanks to : O, Men, Ple, Poo from the pool bar ❤️

Our 3 bedroom villa was magical. We loved the beach club and the food was top tier!

For the money we spent customer service should have been much better. We had to request a room attendant when the room already came with one and missed two days without one.

Amazing resort, best part was staff, warm and full hospitable, we stayed at double pool villa 918 and our host Jason along with his colleague Best were a delight. They took care of all my families needs, which I must say were quite a much.

We booked two beautiful private pool villas. The resort was elegant and luxurious, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. Service was excellent, especially the fast buggy service and prompt beach shuttle.

We stayed at Banyan Tree Phuket in December 2025 as a family of three and booked the DoublePool Villa. It was an excellent choice. The villa itself was huge, beautifully maintained, very clean and incredibly spacious. Having the additional pool space made it feel even more private and luxurious, and the in-villa breakfast included with this villa category was a real highlight. What really stood out, though, was the service. The team throughout the resort were extremely friendly, welcoming and attentive. The villa service added another level to the stay, and our villa host, Jason, was fantastic. He took care of everything for us, from making restaurant reservations to organising tours, and went out of his way to make our stay feel special. The resort is also excellent for families. The kids' club was fantastic and our 7-year-old daughter had a great time there, which gave us the opportunity to enjoy some downtime ourselves. The spa facilities were another highlight – excellent facilities, a very relaxing atmosphere and exactly what you would expect from a resort of this standard. There are several restaurants across the resort and we had a great experience at all of them. Considering the size and quality of the villa, the facilities, level of service and overall experience, we also felt the stay offered very good value for what you get. Banyan Tree Phuket is absolutely a true 5-star resort. From the villa and restaurants to the kids' club, spa and exceptional service, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. We would definitely return.

The food was very tasty, with an excellent variety of choices, and the atmosphere was absolutely amazing—relaxed, vibrant, and perfect for a Sunday brunch. A special thank you to Khun Make, Nan, Faria, Khun Ball, and Chef Josh for their warm hospitality and excellent service. Your attention to detail made our experience even more enjoyable. We would also like to thank the Hojo Restaurant team for the great service. The food was delicious, and everything was served with care and professionalism. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a beautiful atmosphere!

Second time staying in Banyan Tree Phuket! The best resort ever! My villa, the service, and the whole vibe of the hotel were perfect.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Banyan Tree Phuket. The resort is beautiful, the atmosphere is peaceful and luxurious, and our DoublePool Villa was truly exceptional: spacious, private, beautifully designed and one of those places you genuinely don’t want to leave. What made our stay especially memorable, however, was our personal villa host, Art. From the moment we arrived, Art looked after us with incredible warmth, attention and professionalism. He was always one step ahead, helping with every request and making everything feel effortless, while still giving us complete privacy. His kindness and genuine desire to make our stay special really stood out. Recently, starting August 9, I stayed three nights at Banyan Tree Phuket with my wife and son, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The room we stayed in was truly specialIt was beautifully designed, unbelievably comfortable, and the perfect place for a family trip. I want to thank the room maid in charge who gave Villa 207 a perfectly thorough clean. But the absolute highlight of our trip was Banyan Tree Spa. I would like to express my deep gratitude to the spa team, especially to Brownie and Totty. Their sincere kindness, warm hospitality, and exceptional professional massage skills set the true highest standard. They took special and careful care of us, allowing us to completely relax and recharge. Thank you to the entire team for making our family trip this special. We’re counting down the days until we go back!

The villa was nice, as I expected. The hotel by itself is also very nice, up to the standard of what you would expect for the Banyan Tree Resort.

So many things went wrong during my stay at the Banyan Tree in Phuket. 1. I find it very bad in terms of customer experience that I happened to arrive on the day of my anniversary and while I don't expect some grand gesture or anything like that at the very least I expect the hotel to leave a note to to wish me an happy birthday and a wonderful stay...or something like this, and it didn't happen. They totally missed it.... 2. The check-in was really bad. We were not presented with a map of the resort to explain where is our villa, how to go to take our breakfast, for example. We had to figure out ourselves that, instead of taking ten minutes through the lobby, there was a shortcut to go to the breakfast super quickly from our villa... We were not presented with the activities the resort offer and when we can participate and what the schedule was, we had to go to the library and discover by ourselves that this existed and what the schedule was. 3. While the villas are relatively private, there is definitely ways around the pool area and the outdoor patio to peak at the guest in their pool / garden from places gardeners have to go to maintain the hotel gardens. You can tell there used to be a foldable screen there for privacy but it was removed a long time ago.. And I happened to catch a gardener standing exactly at the spot where you can see inside the villa and to make the matter worse with a phone in his hands.. 4. The bathtub was not working, so we couldn't fill it up and had to call the maintenance in the middle of the night to fix it which they did pretty quickly but should not have happened to begin with. 5. You have to pay to rent tennis equipment, fair enough but then while I don't expect outstanding tennis rackets and balls, it should be decent. The grip was dead, leaving black stuff all over our hands and the balls were flat...

The location is excellent, with easy access to the beach, the golf course, and a wide variety of restaurants nearby. The dining options within the resort were good with many variety. The staff were wonderful and embodied the warm Thai hospitality the country is known for. They were genuinely caring, courteous, and always did their best to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. I would give credit to the team for maintaining a property that is over 30 years old, but despite their efforts, it is clear that the resort is an aging asset. The facilities feel dated, and the air conditioning in our room performed very poorly, making it difficult to sleep comfortably throughout our stay. The arrival experience was also disappointing. We waited approximately 40 minutes before reaching our room due to a slow check-in process. It appeared that some team members were either new or insufficiently trained. Communication was another challenge, as language barriers meant we often had to repeat ourselves multiple times before being understood. Breakfast was another area that fell well below expectations. While it would have been acceptable for a typical four-star hotel, it did not reflect the standards I expected from the Banyan Tree brand. Similarly, the service throughout the resort lacked the warmth, attentiveness, and anticipation of guests' needs that I associate with a luxury brand. The staff were polite, but the experience felt more like staying at a standard 3 or 4 star hotel than at a Banyan Tree resort. This was my first stay with Banyan Tree, and my expectations were significantly higher given the brand's reputation. I would encourage the management team to review the end-to-end guest experience; not only the physical condition of the property but also the arrival journey, staff training, service culture, and food and beverage offering; to ensure they deliver the level of luxury that guests expect from the Banyan Tree name.

Wenn man zu den Liegen beim Privat Pool gelangen wollte, dann war es unumgänglich, dass man die Büsche gestreift hat. Die sind zu hoch und zu breit gewachsen und müssten dringend zurückgeschnitten oder ersetzt werden. Obwohl eine tägliche Reinigung vorgenommen wurde, sind trotzdem viele Blätter im Pool und im Jacuzzi. Dies aufgrund der hohen Stauden und natürlich auch durch den täglichen Wind. Hier könnte man den Gästen ein Gerät zur Verfügung stellen, mit dem man die Blätter jeweils selber herausfischen kann. Rund um den privaten Pool sind auch Flecken auf den Fliesen und das gleiche innerhalb des Jacuzzi. Das ist nicht dramatisch sieht aber schmutzig aus

Terrible service, unresponsive, rude staff. 5 star hotel with no service training. The check in process was probably one of the worse I’ve had in any hotel I have ever gotten into.

Our family had such a relaxing and happy time at Banyan Tree Phuket. Everything from the beautiful surroundings to the comfortable rooms was perfect for a family trip. I especially want to express my deepest gratitude to Niwat Lookchan, the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager. He went out of his way to make our breakfast times truly special and memorable every morning. His warm hospitality and attentive care made our family vacation even more perfect. We would definitely love to visit again!

We recently stayed at Banyan Tree Phuket as a family, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Our villa was spacious, beautifully maintained, and provided the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. My niece had the best time throughout our stay. She loved spending hours swimming in our private pool, the main pool, and Rava Beach Club. She also thoroughly enjoyed the Kids Club, where the activities kept her happily entertained. One of my favourite experiences was taking the shuttle boat around the lagoon. It was such a peaceful and scenic ride, offering a different perspective of the beautiful surroundings and adding another special touch to our stay. Breakfast was definitely one of the highlights. The selection was extensive, with a great variety of both international and local dishes, fresh tropical fruits, pastries, healthy options, and made-to-order items. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the breakfast team was always warm, attentive, and welcoming. What impressed us the most, however, was the genuine hospitality. A special thank you to the Duty Manager (I believe her name was Earn), the Front Office team, the breakfast team, the main pool team, and the housekeeping team. Every interaction felt warm, professional, and sincere. Everyone was consistently friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with a smile. Although the resort is quite large, getting around was effortless thanks to the efficient buggy service. The entire property was impeccably maintained, and every area reflected the attention to detail that Banyan Tree is known for. Most importantly, every member of our family had a wonderful time. My mother especially loved the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings, and we all left with unforgettable memories. The daily breakfast was simply amazing and we were spoilt for choices. What really sets Banyan Tree Phuket apart, however, is its exceptional people. A very special thank you to Miss Gift, who gave us such a warm and genuine welcome that immediately made us feel at home. We would also like to thank Nadia, whose friendly and efficient assistance during check-out was the perfect end to our stay. This was my very first trip to Thailand, so naturally everything felt new and exciting. We stayed in a small private villa, and even now, years later, I still remember that feeling. The resort is enormous. Even getting to the beach meant taking a golf buggy, which made the whole place feel like a little world of its own. Because it’s away from the city, it’s perfect if you’re looking for peace, privacy and a relaxing family holiday. Everything was exactly as it should be, but what I remember most are the little things. Every day, housekeeping left different toy animals on the bed, a frog, a turtle… I actually kept them, and they still remind me of this trip today. We were also lucky enough to celebrate Chinese New Year during our stay, which made the experience even more special.

友達家族とプールヴィラ2ベットルームのお部屋に滞在しました。 子供達はいつでも好きな時間にプールに入ることが出来て、この部屋を予約して良かったです。各々部屋を取るよりもお手頃でした。 また、朝食も美味しかったです。

The villas are old, poorly maintained, and full of insects because the sliding doors don’t seal properly. Geckos were inside the villa every night, and ants crawled over my belongings. I couldn’t sleep and asked for a refund for the second night, but it was refused. One of the worst resort experiences I’ve had in Phuket. Villa 902 cost me around 66,000 THB for 2 nights—definitely not worth the price.

The hotel was everything we dreamed of and more. We stayed as a family of five, including a baby, and had an amazing experience. Our two-bedroom villa was incredibly spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The private pool was much bigger than we expected, which was a fantastic surprise. One of our favourite features was the beautiful canal running through the resort. We loved the complimentary boat that takes guests around the property and to nearby areas—it was such a relaxing and unique way to get around. We especially enjoyed having lunch at the golf club, and the golf buggy service was an absolute godsend for getting around the resort. We also loved spending time at the beach club, which was easy to reach using the complimentary boat and the resort’s shuttle bus. It was also so easy to get to Boat Avenue, where we found some fantastic restaurants, great shopping, and brilliant night markets. Having these nearby made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff truly made this holiday unforgettable. Every single member of the team was warm, friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to help. Their kindness and hospitality perfectly reflect the wonderful Thai culture that we can never get enough of. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and we can’t thank them enough. We visited during the rainy season, so our only suggestion would be to offer a couple of evening activities or entertainment options for guests. It would create a livelier atmosphere on quieter nights. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious, relaxing, and family-friendly holiday.

We came during low season. We went out a lot but due to the heavy rain we stayed in our villa more nights than we liked. We wished the hotel maybe did something in the evening for guests to gather and have a more lively atmosphere.

A luxurious and outstanding hotel with amazing food and a huge variety of dishes. The only downside is that the food is not halal. The room was like a dream. We stayed in a private villa with an excellent private swimming pool, and it was absolutely perfect. The hotel is excellent, and all the staff and waiters were incredibly kind, friendly, and professional. They made our stay even more enjoyable.

Two things I value: privacy and peace. I stayed at Banyan Tree Phuket recently and during my stay, the team looked after me with genuine kindness and discretion. They noticed I wasn’t feeling well and surprised me with beautiful flowers, a get-well card, a thoughtful gift of wooden chopsticks and, on my birthday, a delicious chocolate cake. I called Guest Services just to thank them because it was that good. What impressed me most was that nothing felt performative. The team managed to make me feel genuinely cared for while still respecting my privacy and the peaceful atmosphere I was looking for. Every interaction was warm, professional and sincere. The villa itself was the perfect place to recharge, and this turned into exactly the kind of holiday I love—quiet, peaceful and restorative. I’ll remember the kindness of the staff long after I’ve forgotten the rain or my upset stomach. Thank you to everyone who made my birthday special.

Me and my friends have previously stayed at Angsana in Vietnam, but this was our first time at a Banyan Tree hotel. Like Angsana, the service was top tier and everyone was really kind! At the breakfast buffet, Niwat was very nice and brought us fruit and fresh towels! We’ll definitely be coming back, we’re having a pleasant time so far!

The villa was absolutely amazing. The layout of the villa, the outdoor showers and bathtub, and the pool were all incredible. Rarely does a pool villa allow for such privacy. We also enjoyed all the activities for our daughter. She loved the kids club. The restaurants all had great offerings and the beach club was easy to visit. The best part of the Banyan Tree is the staff. The hospitality that they showed was second to none.

Outstanding service throughout our entire stay over 9 days, from start to finish the staff demonstrated outstanding service, not only that the rooms where modern and cleaned twice a day, shout out to Niwat, Nam, Ink, Tong and Prae they are beautiful people who never failed to make us welcome, even in the low season perfect weather and a perfect stay 11/10 would recommend

Evevrything has been perfect. Pool spa villa is amazing and staff are very attentive. Check in was smooth with welcome drinks and cookies as well as a candle lighting ceremony! The hotel cleanliness is 10/10. The spa shower is out of this world and the plumbing top notch along with the Japanese style toilet -self flushing.

We had so much fun making food with Chef Ton, Eye, and Breeze. We've never made any food like this before and it all turned out so good.

My family (2 adults, 1 toddler, 1 grandma) has definitely found a new favorite hotel. We had an amazing time at the villa. It’s been a perfect vacation for us. The villa is lovely, the pool is perfect, and the hospitality of the staff is second to none. We had a lovely experience with Pla, Eye, Nan, Breeze, and Pan. All of them made us feel at home whenever they saw us out and about. I had a massage by Ant at the spa that was a highlight of the trip. Banyan Tree Phuket will be a repeat stay.

It was one of the best dining experiences of our trip. What made the evening even more special was the exceptional service from the team. Saffron Thai restaurant was amazing, the green curry with chicken was the best. Their service was excellent, kept checking up with our food and feedback. Quiet atmosphere and good view of the lagoon.

Breakfast was great, but became repetitive since we spent 10 days. Having a private pool was great and the facilities in the room where super. The team and staff where excellent. The half hourly shuttles to town were very convenient for us to go out into the village for a meal or pickup something at the grocery store.

Recreational facilities like having a game room for friends and family would have been great and much needed for a family spending 10+days at the resort. It would be great if they had a ping pong table, or a pool table, or board games to take to the room and play with family would be a great add on.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. We arrived as the evening fire show began and it just set the tone for the rest of the stay. Amazing accommodation, staff who are friendly and amazingly helpful, soooooo many activities and a buffet breakfast so vast and varied that we didn’t feel bored event after 8 days!

Location is a little far from Phuket town and some activities.

This is our first time during Phuket Banyan Tree. What is one of the best resorts here I think and one of the best experiences. Look for Niwat, he is a fantastic person that will make you feel at home.

Guitar provide me a great massage. She very detailed and provided the technique according to my problem. She is superb therapist I have ever tried. Also, the service was very good, thanks to ms. Nutt for her recommendation, will definitely recommend this place.

The grounds and villas are beautiful, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful at every opportunity.

The hotel is magnificent ! Great property with wonderful accommodation and customer care. Dinner at Saffron is a must do. The food is world class and so is the service. The great team of Pla, Botan and Meen provided fantastic service which made for a memorable evening, it really does not get any better than the service these ladies provided. They are a real asset to the restaurant and Banyan tree hotel….well done and thank you.

We stayed at Banyan Tree Phuket for our honeymoon. The resort has a peaceful and private atmosphere, with beautiful greenery and a relaxing villa experience. The staff were kind and tried to be helpful throughout our stay. There were a few small areas that could be improved, especially around the check-in and room arrangement, but overall it was a pleasant and memorable stay.

Tina was perfect for my Thai massage at the spa. I like firm pressure and it was firm to work out the post flying knots but gentle enough to keep me on the table.

She supported us in planning an incentive trip at the hotel and went above and beyond from start to finish. How clean it was no insects and it was so peaceful also the jacuzzi was an amazing addition to the pool which was not expected, the spa, the people everything was perfect

The pool didn’t have heaters so sometimes you will feel it is so cold specially in raining season. The food was very good but it could be better and not all some of the plates and cup we got were dirty in the buffet.
