Reviewed Sep 12, 2026Breakfast was excellent. But it was so crowded on Sunday around 9am that we could barely find a seat; Monday morning was fine; The front desk women was super helpful with all our questions - the sort we needed to ask being the first trip to Norway. Being that close to the train station was very helpful. The free Wi-Fi was really bad... so the staff has to put in the password for some other Wi-Fi. You should really get that fixed
There was a dog barking in the next room.... but it stopped barking in the night.

Hyggelig personale.

Very basic. More like a hostel. Without optional cleaning (need to be booked the night before), the staff do not even replenish coffee or take away waste.

Reviewed Aug 19, 2026The location, it is 1 stop away from Oslo Central. The neighborhood is swanky and a short walk away from the lake, pier and park. There are supermarkets right outside the hotel with multiple restaurants. The rooms are functional, everything works well. Apart from the bed, there is a bunk bed option available which means upto 3 adults or a family of 4 could sleep in it. The rooms with the balconies are much better as it gives the room some air. The breakfast is a must try. Excellent food with a variety of Scandinavian specialities.
Nothing in particular.

Reviewed Jul 25, 2026The room was very clean, elegant, and well soundproofed, which made for a comfortable stay.
However, the room rate was quite high, especially considering that breakfast was not included. It’s a pity that a hotel of this standard offers rooms without breakfast. We were informed that breakfast could be be added for an extra charge, but we decided not to do so. Unfortunately, this affected our overall impression of the hotel.
