The food in the restaurant was very spicy inspite of reminders

We visited Taj Krishna on 22 August and again on 29 August, and unfortunately both experiences reflected the same fundamental problem: a serious lack of basic hospitality and service coordination. On 22 August, our order was taken and we waited around 20 minutes, only to then be told that the items were unavailable because the tandoor was closed. This should have been communicated before taking the order. We were then forced to change our order and go with Italian food. We returned on 29 August, hoping the previous experience was an exception. Unfortunately, it was even worse. At around 3:10 PM, we ordered Dal Makhani. One of our guests wanted Chilli Garlic Noodles, and we asked if it could be arranged from elsewhere in the hotel. We were simply told that it couldn’t be done because “we have rules.” We then ordered Kaju Kebabs, only to be told those weren’t available either. To add to this, our order was subsequently got wrong and a completely different pasta was prepared. The handling of the entire situation by Ashray was particularly disappointing. There seemed to be very little understanding of what hospitality actually means — listening to the guest, taking ownership, offering solutions and making an effort to accommodate reasonable requests. The issue isn’t that every dish may not be available. That’s understandable. The issue is taking orders for unavailable items, informing guests only after they have waited, refusing reasonable alternatives, getting orders wrong, and then showing very little ownership of the situation. This is Taj Krishna, a property carrying the Taj name and expectations of luxury hospitality. Are these really the service standards Taj expects its guests to receive? One bad experience can happen anywhere. Having essentially the same experience twice within a week suggests a much deeper issue with service and management. Very disappointing. Taj Krishna needs to seriously look at its F&B operations and, more importantly, its understanding of hospitality.

First-Time Virgin Pricante Creation and Excellent Service at Taj Krishnah. At Taj Krishnah I came to the bar and I asked the bartender to prepare a virgin Pricante. He hadn't prepared virgin Pricante till now and he tried it the first time. The first time it came out pretty okay but not the best. He took my feedback and made a second version and finally it came out really good. I want to really appreciate Tarsha and his team who made the effort to prepare a virgin Pricante for the first time and also the snacks I ordered were mushroom ranchini which were really extraordinary.

I recently stayed at Taj Krishna with my family for two days. The property is located in the central Banjara Hills area, offering convenient access to nearby shopping destinations. The hotel features a well-maintained swimming pool and provides a comfortable stay experience. Although the property is approximately two decades old, it has been maintained to a good standard. The breakfast service was satisfactory, and the overall hospitality was excellent. I would like to especially acknowledge Dominic Nunui, Chef Gopi, Sushant, and Chef Pradeep for delivering an outstanding breakfast experience. That said, I believe the breakfast juices should be freshly prepared. For a hotel of this caliber and five-star category, premium quality standards should include the use of fresh ingredients throughout. My children particularly enjoyed the waffles, and we also appreciated the quality of the coffee. The rooms are very clean and not so sophisticated. Pool area is fabulous. i enjoyed the swimming.

I attended Encounters' Onam Sadhya and was thoroughly impressed. As the first guest, I observed the team’s genuine enthusiasm and meticulous preparation while they decorated and set up — a clear sign of their dedication. The staff were professional, attentive, and welcoming throughout. The sadhya offered a wide variety of authentic dishes, each flavorful and well-executed, with generous portions and smooth service flow. Pleasant Live music complemented the celebration. Encounters delivered a memorable, authentic Onam feast in Hyderabad; highly recommended.

Lovely atmosphere with OG Chinese food and ghanshaym was particularly helpful with everything.

Savita, anamika and chef jhangir served us food and it was really good..the biryani we had was very nicely made with no much oil and the flavors were so good and balanced

Our lunch experience at Encounters, Taj Krishna Hyderabad was truly wonderful. The rich, elegant, and heritage-inspired ambiance made the experience even more special. The food was absolutely amazing, with every dish leaving a great impression. But what truly stood out was the warm and exceptional hospitality. A special shout-out to Joy, who took care of us throughout the entire meal. His warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality were the perfect added touch. He truly made us feel welcomed and well looked after. A beautiful dining experience that we would happily revisit! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

On the positive side, the staff who attended to us for room service and in-dining were courteous, helpful, and pleasant. The spa experience was absolutely amazing—we thoroughly enjoyed it and felt it was one of the highlights of our stay. The food, however, was just average and did not quite meet our expectations for a property of this standard. Overall, there were some genuinely good aspects to our stay, particularly the spa and certain staff members, but the arrival experience, room cleanliness, and overall attention to detail fell short of what we expected from Taj Krishna

We had a mixed experience during our stay at Taj Krishna. The biggest disappointments were the arrival experience and the cleanliness of the room. When we arrived, there was no one to properly welcome us or assist with our luggage, and even after check-in, there was no clear guidance regarding our room or luggage. The reception/front-desk interactions also felt rather cold and not as warm or courteous as I would expect from a luxury Taj property. I was particularly disappointed to notice that the lights and even the curtains in our room were visibly dirty. In a luxury hotel, cleanliness and attention to detail are so important, and these things were difficult to overlook once noticed.

We had a beautiful buffet breakfast this morning. Though very busy (a Saturday), food was fresh and service was excellent. We especially enjoyed special service from Karim.

Great experience,, specially to Aditya from Club Lounge who showed the highest pedestal of hospitality. Great job.

Excellent ambience, good at the reception, rooms are excellent. Food at the "Encounters" had a good range and very tasty south and north Indian flavors. Pathak especially was very courteous and gave a good service.

What a fine afternoon with family at al fresco. Cannot miss mentioning Mr. Dominic, Amul, Riya, Shivam and Chef Gopi for the warm service and the delicious food. Thank you, we keep coming back for this.

This city hotel simply amazed me as it had the wonderful mix of being a quiet resort, the kind that one may find in a hill station, while being right in the middle of the city centre of a busy metropolis. The decor and ambience was again a mixture of traditional Indian and European. In this regard, I must make a mention of the Italian marble statues that line the hallway. They were exquisite works of art. The gardens were beautifully horticultured, with a modern spa, swimming pool and jacuzzi is one corner of it. The spa is very well made and has a wide variety to offer, especially Indian ayurvedic massage therapies. The fitness gym, the swimming pool and the jacuzzi (three variety - cold, hot and salty) were used extensively by the guests. I specifically found sitting in the hot jacuzzi very relaxing. Try it! As I had requested a room with a nice view, the hotel accommodated me on the top floor, in the central wing where I had a clear view of the Hussein Sagar lake. The view at night-time was awesome. The hotel has 4 restaurants - Encounters, which is the multicuisine restaurant where the breakfast is also served; Golden Dragon, the ever busy Chinese restaurant; Firdaus, the Indian Restaurant with traditional Nizam Hyderabadi flavour, and Al Francesco, the open garden Italian Restaurant. As both Golden Dragon and Firdaus were full when I went for dinner, I went to relatively vacant Al Francesco and was amazed at the Ravioli Ricotta con Salsa pasta and the Tiramisu con Granita al Caffe. In the midst of the other restaurants, I felt that this restaurant gets ignored but I recommend it as a first try. The ambience is also fantastic as it is a garden restaurant and the evening breeze is refreshing. It was a dinner to remember! The breakfast spread is extensive, with a wide variety. The staff is very courteous. An open air garden sitting arrangement is also present. I took this option and was pleasantly surprised by very friendly pigeons, who were just as appreciative of the good food as I was. I remembered that IHCL is a Tata brand that promotes affection to all animals. Being an ardent animal lover, this was a wonderful thing to experience. Try this too! The live flute session by Mr Durrani during breakfast on both days was amazing Overall, I simply loved the experience and felt that my 2 day professional visit to the city was too short for me to enjoy all that Taj Krishna had to offer, making another visit imperative.

I come often for my business trips and everytime the warmth and calmness and hospitality the staff brings is amazing. I have tried all the restaurants but Amol and Chef Uday Thapa from the Indian restaurant are just the best! What a chef he made the world's best mashed potato with roast chicken the perfect spicy one and Amol has been very kind to make sure all my food preferences are taken care of. More reasons for me to come back next time and try their Italian Cuisine ♥️🙏🏻

Dining experience at Encounter was fabulous We were late for lunch buffet which ended at 3 PM. So we went for Ala Carte Service for lunch. Mr. Sahil Hussein was attending our table and his attention to details was superb. Thank you Sahil.
