Property of the hotel is pretty central . We are able to walk to shopping mall. Night market. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Hotel is just a little dated. Room are pretty clean with amenities ( shampoo and body wash). Carpet is def needs some cleaning but overall. We are please with our stay.

Stayed here few times and this time really shows the hotel is getting old especially the furnitures in the room.. one thing that I’m not happy with is the dry cleaning for my coat. It came back with a foul smell, like clothes that had been stored in a warehouse for very long.. my coat is cleaner than before this dry cleaning.. though it’s closed to the Zhongli night market but I’ll probably look for alternative the next time I stay at Taoyuan…

although it’s not a modern style interior but you can see lots arts designs in the walls,hall . Love it .

We had a brief stay whilst in transit, booked through Expedia. Hotel was easy to reach using the MRT from the airport. Check-in was efficient with friendly & helpful staff. The room was huge & comfortably fitted a family of 4. We used the pool briefly - the facilities were excellent. Convenience stores & the night market are close by. We had to leave before the MRT service began but the staff at the front desk were very helpful when arranging a taxi for us. All contact with staff during our stay was positive. (We only spoke English but this was not a problem.) Would definitely stay here again. Recommended for airport layovers if you don't want to have to travel into Taipei & want an area more interesting than just an airport hotel.

A nice piece of property about 30 mins away from Taoyuan International Airport, though slightly outdated in the hardware section , the quality and the value still stand out, just like Taiwan by itself to the world.

Only stayed less than 24 hours for a layover. This hotel is pretty old, the room is large, but the carpet looks has not changed for a while.

The hotel is clean, food delicious, the room was spacious. the closet is large, desk, coffee table and chairs all made out of red wood. beautif ul decoration the entire room. The bathroom and shower is large, and has a huge bathtub. the room I stay is suite, 1king bed (Ambassador), stay 11 nights from Aug 9-12, 2025, both bedroom and living room have beautiful city view with large winow. I love the hotel it made me feel happy, safe, and tranquility. Also the price was ver good with discounts, because I book from Expedia.

I always appreciate Hotel Kuva for many things but especially the front desk staff welcoming me back!!

It’s a quality hotel. It’s far enough from metropolitans for quietness; yet, it’s close enough, 15~25 minutes rides, for any meetings in Taoyuan.

Spacious rooms; elegant feel; accommodating staff.

We needed a place to stay that was closer to the airport and family friendly. Hotel Kuva Chateau exceeded our expectations. Would love to stay again if we find ourselves in Taiwan again.

The outside of the hotel could do with a refresh. Looks old. Nothing much ard the area other than the Zhongli Night Market

I booked a 3-night stay, starting from the night before my trip because my flight was scheduled to arrive at 5 a.m. From past experience with this hotel, I knew they charge nearly a full day’s rate just to check in a few hours early (check-in is at 3 p.m., but they once allowed me in at 11 a.m. with a high fee), so I decided to book the extra night to avoid that. Unfortunately, due to an unexpected incident, I was unable to board my flight. I contacted the hotel immediately, and even had my friend—who was already staying at the hotel—speak to the front desk on my behalf. Despite this, the hotel refused to offer any flexibility or partial refund. They insisted on charging me the full amount for all three nights, with no consideration for the situation, not even a 50% refund which is a common courtesy in cases of emergency or no-show due to unforeseen events. This experience was extremely disappointing, and I will not be staying at this hotel again.

Although the place look old it's clean. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel very nice overall. The staff are very friendly and speak English well which was very helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good and offerings changed each day. The room was comfortable with the necessary amenities . My only complaint would be the bed, it was very firm. The location was perfect with a nice park across the street and a lot of retail and restaurants withing walking distance. I would definitely stay at The Hotel Kuva Chateau again.

We have a night stay here. Old hotel, but no big issue

Excellent, even though we only stayed one night. We checked in at 3am in the morning which was smooth, quick and easy. We got to go to bed and have a few hours sleep before leaving.

The hotel is very clean and staffs are very friendly. Good location and near by the local night market and street food cafes. We will come back agin.

I love their tea and coffee!

Shower leaked after every use. For 5 people this was an hassle. We had to use towels to soak up the wet floor.

Very big toilet, if possible should split the toilet & the bath room. Plus the toilet bowl should install water spray will be the best.

An older hotel that has very big rooms. The area around it is quite nice, with a pretty local park just across that has a playground and the night market just across that park. The hotel itself is average— service staff are ok, some not as friendly and some who tried more to be helpful. When we checked in, no one greeted us or even smiled. He simply did the admin and gave us our keys. We took the deluxe quadruple room and it’s huge, so it was a pretty comfortable stay. Soundproofing is poor though. Someone was stomping around in the room above till 3-4am at night and you can hear all sounds and doors slamming in the corridor. We had to walk abt 10-15min to find dinner. Overall, it’s decent for 1-2 nights but perhaps there might be better options elsewhere if you’re staying longer.

The hotel shows signs of aging, but kudos to the team for excellent maintenance. The self-service laundry, located on level 5 alongside the gym and water cooler, has multiple washers and dryers, which is very convenient. The room is very spacious, and I loved the free movies provided. The location is a bit far from the train station, and navigating the pedestrian sidewalks with luggage can be challenging, though this is not the hotel's fault. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here!

Another stay at Kuva before I fly off (convenience for being not far from the airport), and to catch up all the delicious food from the night market nearby. Just that- the condition of the hotel is getting old- bathroom was getting moldy and the old carpet smell is making Kuva more and more like a haunted mansion

Not as convenient to the airport as I hoped when I booked the hotel. My mistake not theirs. Nice little gym, but that was because we were the only ones using it. Dry sauna was nice. Steam room was showing its age. Booked for pool, but didn’t read the fine print (closed from Nov-May). Oh well. Nice for the price.

The room wallpaper was dirty full of dust but they manage to clean it the next day I dun like the room lighting which is deem,even when I on all the lights.About 15min walk to MRT, nearby have night market which is a plus point .

The hotel is located within walking distance from the nearest mrt station and you can take a stroll to the night market. The room is clean and spacious. Staff are helpful and managed to find a room for us to check in slightly earlier.

It is a nice room, I just hope they could upgrade their lighting to a brighter room.

Excellent value for timeless charm. Convenient for your first or last night in Taiwan with the airport being only 25 min drive. The property has plenty of dining options within walking distances.

Space of hotel room is good. Quiet area and near to a tourist night market. Even though building is old, but interior is well kept. Overall we are very satisfied. If there is one bad thing to rate, check-in counter staff is unfriendly, that’s all.

When visiting Taoyuan, this is my #1 option

Nice place to stay in Taoyuan. Close to MRT to airport. Friendly staff. Our room had sleepers, bath robes, free bottled water, coffee and tea. Many hygiene products were provided.

This hotel really made me feel like I was at a chateau (castle) with how big the room was! The bed was big enough to fit three people (though I was the only one haha) and I liked how there was a separate shower and tub. The morning buffet was wonderful with a huge selection of different cuisines, fruits, breads, and drink selection. It is a bit far from the station (walking wise) but overall I was very happy with my stay and would stay again!

Location walkable from train station. Construction in front obscures hotel making it a little hard to see. Night market short walk away. Room is large and comfortable. Seat cushions feel a little sticky, probably from humidity.

The double deluxe room was spacious as well as the washroom/bathroom. Lacking of complimentary toiletries. Would be nice for a complimentary buffett breakfast. Floor carpet looked old and with stains. Over-all, it was a pleasant stay. Would be nice if they upgrade to new furnitures as it looked old.
