The Cloud Hotel Chungli

10/10! The location is great, very close to the HSR. Easy to travel to downtown Zhongli/ Zhongli night market, can take the bus or walk about 20 minutes. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Love that there’s an option to wash your clothes, free of charge. Breakfast was traditional Asian style but very delicious. Can also order uber eats very convenient. The only issue is that the room initially smelled like cigarette smoke. However I opened both windows and put the AC on, after a while the smell was gone.

Hotel is very close to a MRT station about 30 mins ride to Taoyuan airport. Front desk is nice and efficient. Room is comfortable but a bit noisy from the street traffic. Good breakfast.

Nice hotel.

I like the buffet restaurant very convenient, I don’t like the transportation, taxi’s are charging too much.

Close to airport transportation.

Close to airport transportation.

The contact with the reception lady was very unpleasant. She was very impatient and didn’t want to answer my second question of which both the questions were very simple. The first one was “the direction of airport transit station “. She finger pointed. The second question was “Is there a sign?”. She was silent and looked at me Only.

Very near to metro station. Walking distance to the attractions. Bus stops nearby, easily accessible

The property is located in a nice area and is safe but I didn't the fact that there was no heat in the rooms at all. The temperatures had fallen to 10-12C. The Hotel could not even provide a space heater. It made it very uncomfortable

Good hospitality

I like : hight quality mattress; high quality beddings; tile floor; good breakfast, nice dinning hall with restrooms and washing bowls nearby; staff and services. I don't like: the shower area is semi-open.

Too cold during winter. Traffic jam most of the time

It’s nice location nearby high speed rail. But it’ll be perfect if improve Room Cleaning.

Terrible place. Not a place to stay. In hotel room, you feel the same as you are on the road.

This hotel is close to Airport MRT station. Convenient for people needs one night stay for next morning airline schedule.

Hotel is clean, staffs are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hit or miss. The first two days' sandwiches had ham, eggs, cucumber and 3 slices of toast. The sandwich for the third morning had only eggs, cucumber, and 2 slices of bread. Hotel website promises a view of the street, but the window in the room we got was painted black. That was a huge let down.

Great place to stay.... i hope that they have gym 😊..........................

Clean and good

Very close to Mrt station Huanbei, Big room, big bed, good breakfast.

clean room and comfortable stay. very close to station, though a bit far from night market. overall it's good.

It's good place to stay for business trip

Instant check in and out. Buffet hot breakfast with several Chinese choices. The room was large, simple, and clean.

Sogo,

Walking distance to Nanliao fishing harbor and the bicycle renting shops where you can bike along the beautiful coastal areaat Xinchu

Front desk people were great, breakfast was average and the room was OK for the price. The bath room towels were kind of old. The ac vent blows air toward the head when sleeping.

Location is perfect, just next to the mrt station, room is spacious, breakfast is good, there are few selections and taste delicious to our expectations. Bed is comfortable, washroom clean and they provide toiletries. The bad thing from the room is the smell of cigarette, even after they came to spay the room, its still had the smell.

Disgusting filthy worse place I’ve I even cancelled my stay and just pay in cash one day and did not stay in that hotel

close to mrt station. good for staying before your late flight

We really enjoyed staying here. The staff were very friendly and patient with us since we do not speak Chinese. The free breakfast was delicious and healthy. The room comfortable and clean. There were a lot of little toiletries in the room too in case you forgot something. the A/C is cold. The internet is fast. Very convenient location right by the MRT line from Taoyuan airport! Great to stay for a couple nights after a long flight. Most of the staff did not speak much English, but we could communicate using google translate.

You get what you paid for. Price is great, but comes with a catch. Room size was decent. Large bed. Bathroom needs revamping. The towels were well worn, not in the greatest condition. The comforter had a couple holes. And the air condition blows directly towards the bed and the temperature can’t be adjusted. So be prepared to be freezing. Interesting that the room provides condoms. Also you can clearly hear conversations and what’s going on in neighboring rooms. From the airport to the hotel, taxi cost about 600.

This hotel was nice. We only stayed one night and didn't spend a lot of time in the room, but it was clean and comfortable. The WiFi was good, and the shampoo/conditioner/shower were great. I enjoyed the hotel water warmer and tea, also. This hotel was VERY close to the Airport Sky Train station, but it doesn't start running until 7am (so if you have an early flight, you'll have to take an Uber or a taxi to the airport).

Great price Nice staff. Close to mrt nice breakfast free coffe tea water toothpaste razor body wash etc..

Just a simple hotel. Rather clean but only problem is that was a smoke smell which meant someone had smoked in the room before.

great tolocation right by MRT station. Well priced, friendly staff.

The room still need to be some upgrade ………!

Breakfast is very nice. Location is the best So close form MRT go to Airport. Location it not far from Night Market Just Walking around 15 minute.

Excellent location; less than a 200m walk from the end of the Jichang Line. Delicious breakfast. Quiet, comfortable rooms.

The hotel is clean and room is comfortable. Walking distance to the airport subway.

After reading reviews, I worried about this hotel but we are happy to stay there.

very near to town centre and the airport railway.

Location - if arriving at the International airport, it's the opposite direction from Taipei, but is accessible on the MRT (metro underground) direct from the airport station for AUD$2.50 in a hassle free 30 mins. As we didn't need to go to Taipei and our driver was picking us up and heading south, this worked well for us. Service - no problems, 24 hour desk Accommodation - modern design, filtered water tap in each room, hard floor (not carpeted), comfortable bed Eating - Breakfast was surprisingly good, more than ample. Wi-fi - free in room Summary - mostly a business hotel, in a non tourist area, but if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of Taipei, highly recommended.

Arrived at 1145pm, so having a quick check in very important. Room, bed and shower are good. Staff friendly. Breakfast, I'm not a morning eater, is Chinese, so I skipped and went to Starbucks 7 minutes walk away. Was going to a Guns N Roses concert 2 metro stops away at the Taoyuan Baseball Stadium. The metro is 2 minutes walk, metro easy to use. The local area is OK at best, not great for expats. Ideal for 3 days, after that unless you have a reason to be here maybe a struggle, but I would go back which is what these reviews are all about.

Nice, cheap hotel. Clean with a comfortable bed. I would stay there again. Close to MRT stop. Didn't wake up in time for breakfast.

The room is true to the picture, big and spacious room, comfortable, except that the room is not soundproof. It was late at night and there were travellers returning to their rooms late, even chatting along the corridor loudly and slamming their room doors. I like that the hotel is next to the mrt station, hoped that when the mrt to zhongli is opened, the hotel will be even more convenient. Breakfast is rather disappointing, perhaps could just do away with the breakfast.

avergae but good price. People can try such hotel cause very close by MRT

Easy to access by train after long flight, bed is hard but was ok. Fast and easy check in.

I stayed for one night to get a sleep between connecting flights. It was fine, great value for money, but I am not booking it for my next wedding anniversary :) It took 30 minutes to get from the airport by subway, a pretty easy process. When you leave the subway station you see a large building with HOTEL written on the top. That's it. The main street entrance has nothing written in English, but it looks like a small hotel. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was simple, but very clean and everything worked well including the wifi. The room had a small fridge and a hot/cold water dispenser. The bed was firm but very comfortable. My room faced the street but with double glazing I got a great night's sleep. Other reviewers have complained about the aircon; when I was there the outside temp was pleasant and I guess therefore the aircon worked fine. My room had plenty of windows even though other reviewers complain about small windows. I recommend this hotel as a very good budget choice which is an easy commute from Taipei airport.

This hotel is really close to the station so very convenient. There was a late night store very close by as well. Staff were friendly and the room was a good size with a big comfy bed. Water tank was a bonus! This was really good value for money. The only thing to watch out for (especially if with children) is that there wasn't a content filter on the TV, and there were certainly some more racy channels. Bathroom was a decent size and everything was nice and clean. The drinks area (mini bar style) by the reception was also a nice touch. Breakfast was included but I had to miss for an early flight. Aircon coul have been a bit more flexible (just 3options of temperature). But for price paid this is a very minor point. Would definitely recommend.

Very comfortable and clean. Very close to the metro station, lots of dinner options in the immediate area, and a fulfilling breakfast buffet included.

Not too far from places such as food , massage , banks , Med clinic

Very near the MRT. About 10 mins' walk to the shopping malls. Room was bigger than what I expected.

Nice, tidy hotel near airport (via MRT) at economical price, although the sound insulation can be better.

Great place when you need to get to the airport the next day. About 20 minutes away. Room was clean and breakfast was okay.

Chose this location to do last minute shopping at sogo. Toilet was old and a little dirty. Breakfast was not good. OK for a night's stay. Express train only comes at very limited timings

This is a 2 mins walk to Jungli subway station that you can take to go to airport, HSR station and Taipei. the bed, TV and breakfast are all good. The worse is there is No heat (hot air) and very noise while raining (the drops just too lard). I live in Vancouver and cold is not an issue but this cold and wet night was almost unbearable. I did not pack heavy cloth and I have to use my jacket to cover my head in order to get few hours of sleep. Please be caution!! you do not want to book this place when it is cold and wet.

Hotel was spacious and very near to huanbei station. 15 mins walk to the nightmarket. Room have a water dispenser as well!.

Short and sweet

It is a good location if you are stopping over and need to take an early flight out of Taoyuan. The hotel is very near to Huanbei subway station. It takes about 30 mins from the station to T1 or T2 station. There are plenty of food outlets and a night market nearby. It is a simple hotel but value for money but more important to me is easy access to airport by subway.
