LOCATION IS GOOD ON THE BEACH ,VERY BEAUTIFUL LAWNS ,HUGE PROPERTY AND VERY CLEAN . ONE OF THE LARGEST RESORTS I HAVE BEEN TO .

FOOD QUALITY IS NOT UP TO THE MARK .JUST ONE WEEK BEFORE THIS VISITED LALIT THE MANGER FOOD WAS EXCELLENT THERE .BUT LALIT GOA FOOD WAS NOT VERY GOOD.ROOM LOCKS TROUBLED US LIKE ANYTHING .ATLEAST COMPLAINED ABOUT IT FOR MORE THAN 15 TIMES

They didn't inform when they were charging us for subscription of Unite8 Sports Channel to watch football worldcup.

The property was beautiful and very well maintained. It had an old world charm. The beach was easily accessible and clean. The kids loved the huge pool.

The only thing that needs improvement was the breakfast buffet.

Excellent Property, Food , Always on time Room Services delivery. Great employees/ ground staffs at each touch point of resturant, security guards , buggy transport guys, House keeping and room Service, pool side , main entrance Securities etc.

Reception team and overall senior management employees i meet and dealt with ' - they are far from reality, dont walk the talk and always busy on critising ground level staffs ...be it in break fast resturant, front office junior staffs ....they are seems to be handsoff senior people... I must say they have very good , loyal ground staffs ...but they seems to be puzzled and stressed with confusing directions and continued criticism...though none of the guest seems with high satisfaction level... Management should be on positive mind set and work on strenths of team. General Manager [ GM ] never visible in floor level during my 4 days stays ...may be busy in corner of his own cabin..

The pest control in rooms hasn’t been done. Plus the furniture was too old. In addition there was no one at airport for pick up

The expansiveness of the resort: it gave one scope to breathe. The location: by a clean and pretty beach and its proximity to the loveliest part of Goa. Most of all: some of the friendliest service I've encountered.

The room was somewhat lacking in really comfortable furniture. No sofa, for example.

Unacceptable Staff service and courtesy especially at the reception - Zero sense of hospitality and no eagerness to resolve any concern - No room service done on the 2nd day of our stay despite repeated reminders - Highly dissapppinted - will never go back again !!

This huge resort has amazing staff who work tirelessly to make sure guests are comfortable.

Breakfast can be a bit hit-or-miss, especially when the place is packed or at busy times. Being so out of the way means you don't have many other food choices nearby. Also, remember to give yourself extra time, because things tend to run on "Indian time."

Location and facilities.

Food is expensive. If they slash down by 30% I am sure they will get more footfalls in their restaurants. Restaurants are full only during breakfast and completely deserted during other times. Bicycle ride starts at 600/ hour plus taxes for one hour. Obscenely high.

What a place! Though the hotel infrastructure is a bit old, the place is very well maintained. The rooms are immaculate and we had a sea facing room which was absolutely mesmerizing. The staff is supportive as well. Sports complex is good and golf was the highlight ♥️ The location too is amazing, don’t forget to visit the talpona river side, you will be surprised to see the view.

As I said the place has an old infrastructure so we had a bit of electricity socket issues or the door lock was not working. But the staff took care of all of it. Food could also be better. I did not like the food from OKO, Corta’s was better

Het zwembad is fijn. De kamer erg groot en de ligging is fantastisch. Het is een groot resort met allerlei wandelmogelijkheden en je loopt zo het strand op. Het ontbijt is zeer uitgebreid.

Gedateerde kamers, kierende ramen en deuren, veel lichtinval via raampjes van deuren. We waren er een hele week maar er lag altijd veel stof onder de bedden en het nachtkastje. De voegen in de badkamer zijn beschimmeld. Qua hoeveelheid toiletpapier wordt er geen rekening gehouden met behoeften van Europese gasten (we moesten steeds bijbestellen). Tijdens het wandelen liep ik met een camera want ik ben een vogelaar en fotografeer vogels tijdens mijn vakantie. Ik werd gedurende mijn hele verblijf lastig gevallen door een groot deel van de security guards omdat dit volgens hen niet mocht (terwijl ik toestemming had gekregen). Ik werd gevolgd, onbeschoft benaderd, met een fluit teruggefloten als ik 3 stappen op het gras zette en ik werd niet geloofd als ik zei dat ik toestemming had van het hoofd van security. Zelfs mijn kamernummer werd niet geloofd (that is not a room number, zie een guard!). Regelmatig werden vogels weggejaagd omdat er weer een guard aankwam… Dit heeft mijn verblijf flink verpest. Bij uitchecken werd ons niet gevraagd hoe ons verblijf was bevallen, er werd zelfs niet gegroet. Mocht je vogelaar zijn, zou ik zeker niet kiezen voor dit overgeprijsde resort. Wat landinwaarts betaalden we nog niet de helft voor een resort met all inclusive waar zelfs vogels gelokt worden met vers water en waar gidsen aanwezig zijn.

Everything was worth...my son birthday experience was unbelievable .he was joyful to be in so big n clean pool, all outdoor games and indoor games he enjoyed,n most he liked cycling. Wl definately revisit again to stay in diff room .

Beach is not private like other 5-star properties in south Goa

It is a very badly maintained property with 0 standards and 0 respect for the guests. The food is bad and the menu is repetitive. While it’s a huge and beautiful property the lack of maintenance and service standards make the stay feel like a punishment. The management is absolutely not bothered with lack of ownership and responsibility.

The location is far away from the main south goa beaches! I have been to the Lalit 15 years ago for the first time. The rooms are still huge and old Portuguese charm. however it needs some repairs, upgrades and TLC. If you're stayin in the main building it takes around 10-15 mins to walk in the sun to the beach - so ask for a beach buggy. They should just upgrage people honestly to make our lives easier. The BEACH shack is WAYYY tooo dark even in the day, they need better lighting because it doesnt make you want to stay and order food. The food is good but really over priced for south goa.

Dark beach shack. Distance walking from the room to the beach can cause a sun stroke. Toys in the pool should be free, 500 rupees to shoot archery makes no sense. Rooms need better lighting also, I was working till 2am and it felt dimely lit.

Beach is superb. Worst breakfast experince across all 5 star properties I have stayed so far.

We had a great stay, Pallavi from Laundry provided us with exceptional customer service and went out of her way to help us. Great overall experience with the staff and facilities at the Lalit.

Oko is a great place to have dinner. I like the resort overall.

We were served in Canacona by Rakesh. Awesome service , good food. We ordered pure veg.. Butter Panner Biryani and red sauce Pasta. Rakesh was very gentle in handling our request and we were with 2 year old kid. He served with patience. Served us papad and salad also. Very good service .. thank you

Anangsha and Tarun have an amazing service with great food. I have food allergies and they went above an beyond to make sure everything I ordered was safe for me to eat.

The hotel in general is dirty , tired and poorly maintained Our bathroom was very shoddy, tiles damaged and bodged with grout The air conditioning kept running even when we switched it off so room was very cold. Terrible breakfast even the other guest had complained Coffee was undrinkable in the restaurant We requested a coffee at the pool bar but were told that it was not possible but alcohol and soft drinks were being offered The general pool area was dirty with bird excrement . The Pool had sand in the bottom , tiles were broken and missing and a very dirty scum at water level . We Had booked 5 nights overall But left the next day despite raising our concerns with the management we were refused any refund. Saying that the golf course looked quite good. Don’t be fooled by the excellent rating Only go there and play golf and stay somewhere else !

8 of us (four couples) have been to Goa in the month of March 2026. We stayed at the hotel the Lalit Golf and Spa Resort. The hotel is conveniently located and is a very good property. Unfortunately we found the service at the hotel as too bad. The service at the breakfast time in the restaurant was pathetic. The buffet spread was very limited and the refills were not timely. Even the were not avail the excuse given by the staff that if people change plates that often what can we do. It appears that the staff does not do any statistical analysis of the breakfast service as to the number of who take breakfast and the number of plates required. In the main dining the service for lunch and dinner was equally poor. The food portions were very and there was no value for money. The rooms are spacious and but the service is again very poor. Asking for small amenities drinking water may take up to half an hour. Apparently the staff is untrained. The length is doing an unethical business. Despite a ruling to the contrary by the Honorable Supreme Court of India the hotel continues to 10% service charge. I'm enclosing a photograph of the bill for reference. Overall it was a poor experience.

We had a 1 night stay prior to a further 4 night stay booked for a few days later . Wish we had never been ! Or booked ! We booked the lalit for a 5 star as rated experience with all the comforts expected & where I could feel comfortable, safe and private due to a recent experience The hotel is dirty , tired and soulless The breakfast was terrible with little healthy choices . Our room was dated , cold and bathroom dirty and tatty The hotel was busy and didn't contribute to me feeling relaxed The pool area dirty & poorly maintained We addressed our feelings with the manager and asked to cancel our upcoming 4 night stay with no penalty costs . Despite our findings from our 1 night stay and further extenuating circumstances they offered no understanding or flexibility .

Mr. Tanmay and Mr. Mukesh provided us with best services and made our stay excellent. The room services were excellent and made sure that the rooms were cleaned daily....

Property is really good and big. Defined recommend coming here. It’s baby friendly property. We came here with 1 year old baby and stay was good. They have private beach which is really great.

We had dinner at canacona during our stay at lalit resort and spa Goa . We had a very good time there and food at canacona was delicious. We had pizza, po pie je and chinese bhel everything was too yummy and they have very polite and sincere staff who attends you very warmly with a bright smile. A special thanks to Rakesh who attended us and made our dinner more special.

No me gusto que el cuestionario que tuve que llenar antes de llegar lo que me preguntaron, por ejemplo que bebida me gusta, que fruta, etc y no hubo nada al respecto. O sea no se de que sirvio si nada de eso me dieron o me ofrecieron.

Great heritage stay at fair price. Well maintained property.

Property is far away located from real goa. Beach is isolated with no any other adjoining shack or other restaurant. Food is average. Need more trained staff. No shuttle service for nearby palolem beach or market.

We came here for lunch. The food was really good, especially the sushi and crispy prawns. The chef and the servers are very welcoming! Had a great experience dining here.

Had a great experience at the Pan Asian restaurant, Oko. Not only was the food excellent, it was customized as per our preference. Kudos to Shubham for being such an amazing host !

The experience is good. Rooms are good just a point I want to add that light in the room is very dim. and the staff is also helpful (Blaison Fernandes and Sujata Pagi). Only the reception staff need to be little polite and the food quality they need to improve. The breakfast is also not upto the mark.

Very good hospitality and service

Fantastic property with excellent rooms and Super service provided by Fayaz and team. It’s a must visit location if u want to get away from the hustle bustle of the city and North Goa but still want to enjoy Goa.

Had a memorable time with my family. The property provides all modern facilities while retaining its old world charm. The beach is well maintained and easily accessible. The staff is courteous. Excellent service and amazing food. Rakesh took great care of us at the Restaurant. Can't wait to be back here sometime soon !

Very nice place , the staff is so polite

We had an incredible stay for 3 nights in south Goa at the lalit.The food,rooms all facilities are fantastic.I had a soothing experience at spa by spicelogy and my therapist was Shruti.Shruti was very well experienced therapist.I felt so relaxed.The lalit is now onwards my permanent vacation stay.

Amazing therapy. They had the right skills to identify the pain areas and apply the right pressure. I was attended by Olivia.

A beautiful property, filled with greenery all around, had an amazing stay on our visit, The staff is very welcoming, Also one of the staff, I believe her name was Riddhi, was very friendly, She was the one who checked us in, We were very tired due to our travels and she made sure not to waste any unnecessary time with our check in process, which just was a great start to our stay.
