Lobby was sweltering; in room AC unit kept kicking in and out; needed to be reset every few hours. If not the room would become too warm. Hotels in the area, same room make-up, pool, gym and breakfast were considerably cheaper.

Location was very good and the cleanliness along with a wonderful breakfast was great

The property was good however next time I would ask for a room in the back of the building as numerous trucks pass on the road all night

No hot tubb! Only has a pool . The lobby as very loud as there were large groups of teenagers almost taking those arras over. . The common areas are for everyone to enjoy , not just sports teams 🙄

Check in with a breeze and the 2 ladies at check in were absolutely terrific and pleasant. Clean hotel and comfy bed, pillows and blankets. Continental breakfast. Only items I’d mention is the parking slots are tighter then normal and we ended in the back of the hotel. Cars were parking with a space in between. The lighting could be better in the back for security purposes.

First impression was great. Lobby was clean and inviting. Ryley at The front desk staff were fantastic and very welcoming. Unfortunately, once I entered the room, I noticed a foul odour coming from the bathroom and found an old, dirty rag that had been left behind. The shower stall also could have been cleaned more thoroughly. On the positive side, the beds were clean and comfortable. Desk was spacious for work. The fitness room also had a few issues. The A/C was not working, and I couldn’t find any wipes to clean the equipment before or after use. The water jug provided for refills was empty, although Ryley was very helpful and provided me with a bottle of water. Overall, the front desk service was excellent, but the cleanliness and fitness room amenities could use some improvement.

I had a great stay! The breakfast was decent, made/prepped fresh every morning. The kitchen staff Crystal was amazing, greetings and smiles every morning. She was extremely welcoming. Breakfast didnt have more than 1 type of omlette. I dont eat meat and the omlette had ham in it. Also, the chef stopped refilling the waffle batter at 9.40am, when people are still eating breakfast, and with a huge que ahead of me, I didnt get any waffle. I was disappointed in the breakfast and the way they handled it. The room and hotel is good.

There wasn’t many non pork options- even the eggs had pork in them - maybe do a veggie omelet instead as there was bacon on the side already

There was black mold in the vent of the air conditioner- I didn’t notice it until morning

This Hilton Hampton Inn in Windsor is one of the best hotels in the Hilton group I have stayed at, so far. I travel often and predominantly use the Hilton group of hotels. Robert and his staff (inclusive of Ryley) are exceptional at truly caring about each individual guest. The staff is personable and friendly, have a great sense of urgency, and always go the extra mile. The rooms are well cared for and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and the breakfast staff always ready to help. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying over in Windsor and area.

We give the hotel an excellent rating. Our room was nice and clean. If we forgot something, the front desk had a sign with items that were for free (tooth brush, shaver, etc). Great location and we were able to check into our room early. The first desk clerk excellent.

The AC was loud and kinda old. The room was not cleaned on a daily basis.

I’ve stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Windsor many times over the past six months, mostly because the location is convenient when I’m in Windsor for work. Overall, many of my stays have been good, and the staff has generally been helpful and friendly. Robert especially deserves a mention. He is one of the friendliest staff members I’ve dealt with at the hotel. He is always welcoming, accommodating, and genuinely pleasant, which makes a difference when you stay somewhere regularly. That said, there are a couple of ongoing maintenance issues that really should be addressed, especially for future guests who may be assigned the affected rooms. The hot water issue remains a problem. It is not that there is no hot water at all, but you have to run the shower for around 15–20 minutes before the water gets hot. I mentioned this issue to management about a month ago and was told they would look into it, but the issue has still not been fixed. The AC issue was also mentioned around the same time, and that problem still seems to exist as well. For a hotel that I otherwise like and continue to use, it is frustrating to see the same issues remain unresolved after being brought to management’s attention. What made this more disappointing is that when I tried to select a certain room again, I was told it was unavailable because of large groups coming in. However, when I arrived at the hotel, there did not appear to be any large groups, and the room I was initially told was unavailable was available. I specifically request that room because I prefer the layout, but unfortunately, with the hot water and AC issues still not fixed, I will have to select a different room going forward. Overall, I continue to stay here because the location works well for me, many of the staff are friendly, and most of my stays have been positive. However, the recurring hot water and AC issues need to be properly addressed, especially when they have already been reported multiple times and are still ongoing. Management does encourage guests to bring issues to their attention, which I appreciate, but the follow-through on these particular issues has been disappointing.

I had a great stay here over a weekend for work. The other reviews that mention Ryley are no exaggeration, she was so great. Super caring and attentive but efficient and great at her job. Every staff interaction was great. Lobby, elevators, and hallways were all clean and comfortable. I stayed in the larger king suite which was clean and fresh. The larger room was perfect for me since I had a lot of stuff and it had loads of outlets to plug things in. Having the little mini kitchen was also useful. The shower was a good size and the water pressure was pretty good, and it had a bright light in there which I always appreciate. I was on the top floor (7) facing southwest and had a great view of the new bridge and loads of trees. The only thing I would flag is the noise. The property is renovated and great for a hotel in its price range, but since it is an older building, the traffic noise was a bit bothersome until around midnight and you could hear when someone was talking in the hallway. If that's something super important to you I recommend selecting or asking for a room facing away from the main road and near the end of the hall. I booked early and paid a fair price for an early summer weekend. Closer to the date the value wasn't as good but wasn't crazy expensive either. Breakfast was very standard Hampton Inn, it was nothing to write home about but no complaints either. I will definitely look at this hotel again if/when I am back in Windsor.

I love Hampton Inn and find it the most comfortable among affordable hotels. Beds are the best. It’s clean, staff is amazing, rooms are specious and have all you need.

The convenience of its location. The inclusive breakfast was great! Especially because it’s offered 7 days a week! I especially appreciated Theresa the breakfast hostess who was extremely attentive and efficient! She cleaned and sanitized every table and chair within seconds of them becoming vacant. She constantly restocked and replenished. She efficiently monitored the trash receptacles. She was absolutely friendly and highly service oriented. THANK YOU THERESA!

ONE of the better breakfast we've ever had, the room was exceptionally clean and very updated. The staff were always there if you needed anything Riley had a great personality and making sure everything was fine. The pool was warm and clean and comfortable. We definitely would stay didn't want to leave thanks Larry...we'll be back .

The heater in my unit wasn’t working. Blasted it while we were in the room and nothing. Hoped it would kick in while we were out and still nothing. And by the time someone was flagged to take a look we were leaving.

The indoor pool was a highlight—especially after a long drive from Toronto, it was refreshing to go for a swim right after checking in. The hotel was pleasantly quiet during the Christmas period, which made the stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast wasn’t particularly impressive, but it was acceptable considering the room rate. Overall, it’s a nice hotel for a comfortable stay and a convenient base for exploring Windsor.

We stayed at this hotel 4 times this year. The experience was great until the last one. On Sunday morning, we didn’t have hot water. The front desk said they had an issue with their boiler and maintenance was looking at it. Next morning, same issue and the front desk said the issue was only with our room and not the boiler. My wife was not impressed. Needless to say we staying elsewhere next time.

The day before arriving, Riley moved our rooms around to accommodate our family. The rooms were perfect for our family visit, clean, spacious, everything worked, variety of pillows and it was quiet. The availability of the pool was great for the kids and 10 minute drive to indoor splash park. Breakfast in the morning was excellent with a variety for the kids. Edy was very friendly and helpful at checkout. **Fantastic experience for a one night getaway. I will definitely return!

Stayed at this hotel with the kids hockey team. Rooms were very nice, lots of room and the staff were always helpful. The kids loved the pool area.

Second time staying at this hotel. The staff is great, hotel is comfortable, rooms are clean. Amenties are basic. There are signs stating quiet hours, assumably due to a large youth group staying for the weekend. The signs were not there during the week. Location is good, a lot of food near by. Breakfast is ok, similar to most Hampton Inn breakfasts. Coffee is available in the lobby throughout the day. Only issue is both times, we had issues with hot water in the shower. We had to switch rooms after the first day because the water never got hot. The second room was fine the first morning, the second morning the hot water went away half way through.

So far so good at Hampton by Hilton in Windsor. Our room was clean and well maintained. Our breakfast was good and was open when we needed before our hockey game.

Pillows were super cheap, no head support. Lay your head down and it goes almost to the surface of the bed (very uncomfortable, even with multiple pillows, making sleep hard to do comfortably). Even my friend complained and actually said she had never been to the Hampton, and would not go back.

We stayed at this property for one weekend. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly! It is in an excellent location with many dining and retail options nearby. The property appeared to be renovated. The room was very small compared to other Hampton Inns we have been to but had all the standard amenities. Breakfast was a standard Hampton Inn breakfast. Would stay here again.
