I was impressed with the cleanliness and spaciousness of the suite room.

Surprised that parking is an extra charge.

Great location!

Great room and amenities. Strong wi-fi and great cable. Loved the kitchen and dining room table, along with the chairs and table out on the deck. Entire space was very comfortable. The hotel is located near everything we wanted to do yet out of the hubbub of Marine Drive. This is our 3rd or 4th time staying there. Suggest if you are staying two or more nights and your budget allows, book a King Studio.

Well, there are the trains running through at all times during the night but they didn’t really bother us. Parking can be a little tricky.

Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Die Zimmer mit zwei Betten sind sehr geräumig und gemütlich eingerichtet. Alles sauber! Würde ich jederzeit wieder buchen.

Man muss wissen, dass das Hotel zwar direkt an der Straße am Meer liegt, allerdings auch noch die Bahngleise dazwischen sind. Züge fahren ca. 2x pro Stunde. Uns hat es nicht gestört. Das Hotel ist aber somit kein klassisches „Strandhotel“, was der Name vielleicht suggerieren könnte.

The location is ideal.

The parking is tight. The rooms are not just adjoined... One room gets a balcony which has a window directly facing the other room. It is the only window the other room has. So, either you are looking into someone's room and they can hear you or you are being looked at and they can hear you too!

The room was large and comfortable and the staff very helpful. We felt lucky to get a place as most were full. They are located on the seafront and would be an excellent place for families to stay but we were just tired from a long overseas trip.

Noise from the air con that must have been close to our room. Price of the room was quite steep.

Refrigerator in kitchen was a hazard and barely useable. Door opened wrong direction, making it extremely difficult to put food in or get it out. Likely the door will get broken or someone will injure themselves trying to maneuver around the door in limited space. Staff informed, but they could not make change. This was a very bad owner decision/problem. This will impact older guests and large size guests.

The view

Dog hair everywhere, dishwasher full of dishes, old food in sink drain, food left in cupboard, crack in transition strip in hallway husband cut foot. When told front desk didn't seem to care just took off our parking fee,

Rooms are really quiet. We worried that there would be Street noise etc. But it was very, very we quiet. Rooms are also very clean. And the beds are comfortable.

Our room was on the first floor and we didn't really have view much of a view. We probably should have spent a little more if we wanted a view. Other than that everything was fine.

Location is excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were quiet and peaceful.

We had fruitflies in the room even after the cleaners came in to spray. They were many and just one spray and clean would not be enough. The cobwebs up around the ceiling were thick and had obviously been there a long time.

Very nice suite overlooking the water. Comfortable bed. Good coffee shop open in the morning.

Our room also overlooked a very busy train track between the hotel and the sea, with regular trains all night. For the price a light complimentary breakfast would been appropriate.

We were able to check and park our vehicle in before the designated time.

As with most hotels the toilets are too low for seniors.

The location is amazing, right on the promenade with easy access to the beach and many restaurants. Great view! Definitely one of the nicer lodgings on Marine Drive! Staff was super accommodating for my husband's temporary handicap, needing accesible parking.

Only complaint....our basic room had a great window view of the bay...but it was shared with the next rooms balcony..our room did not have one. Not a deal maker for us, but if privacy is super important to you, make sure your room has it's own balcony...or doesn't look out on your neighbors!

I like the fact that this hotel is right in the center of White Rock. It's beautiful we've been coming to the Promenade hotel for 15 years. We usually get a sweet but this time we just got a room. The parking is convenient and normally the sweets are excellent with a beautiful view but this time we got a basement asleep.

We were in a basement side of the hotel with very very large windows which is nice but you can't open the blinds because people are constantly walking by looking right into your room therefore you had to keep the blinds closed which made it extremely dark. The air conditioner was Extremely Loud was not used and made us uncomfortable because it was hot. We've been coming to the Promenade hotel for years and we have never been greeted with welcome back Mr and Mrs price or Mrs kinnakin. We have never been given a nice bottle of wine for appreciation for coming back and we've been coming for 15 years and we've got absolutely nothing. Even a gift card to the restaurant for a coffee nothing

Leider wird nicht erwähnt, dass direkt vor dem Hotel fast stündlich, auch nachts, ein sehr lauter Zugverkehr stattfindet, was den Schlaf fast unmöglich macht. Das wäre im Vorfeld schön zu wissen

This place was a wonderful start of a 3-week trip. We entered Canada by bus from the US and Ubered to White rock. The scenery was lovely and tranquil. We dined with a sea view and walked along the coast in the morning. the hotel room waas spacious and very comfortable with a bit of water view if we stood in the right place. The staff were very helpful with dining information and we enjoyed some fine meals.

More of a view of the water would have been appreciated but that may have come at the cost of more street noise.

Parking was a little tricky. Access was only off of Marine Dr. Underground parking was height restricted. If you have a lifted truck, you are out of luck..

Very clean room, very spacious and comfortable beds. The room had a coffee/tea station with an electric fireplace. Very nice feature. Friendly staff and directly at the waterfront. Would recommend this hotel.

As the entire neighbourhood required permits for parking, the only option was to park at the hotel's garage and pay CAD 31 per night. It would have been nice if the nightly rate could be slightly lower for hotel guests or even complimentary.

Location couldn't have been better. Loved walking along the boardwalk, with views of the beach,tide out, people out enjoying the summer. Walked 1k to the pier and had breakfast there. Sat outside on patio at the breakfast spot so whole experience was lovely.

Staff was super friendly and accommodated our requested check in time.

The room was not dirty by any means. Slept well! At the same time, it didn’t feel immaculate clean, especially the bathroom. Clean enough not to complain but not clean enough to not say anything (details, grime around sink and faucets; shower).

Es war sehr laut, da das Hotel direkt an einer Bahnstrecke liegt und die Züge und das Warnsignal sehr laut waren, so dass man kaum schlafen konnte…..

The room was super clean and comfortable. Staff let us park for a little while after checkout so we could be tourists at White Rock around lunchtime. On-site parking was convenient.

The "B" room didn't have porch access, the view isn't good from many rooms, but I understand it is good on some rooms. Since we spent most of our time in White Rock outside, it didn't matter. Our room rate was high. Hopefully they can keep their prices down a bit.

Personal führte Privatgespräche, während Leute warteten, um einzuchecken. Zugstrecke führt direkt an der Strandpromenade vorbei. Es kann als morgens um 4 Uhr schon laut bimmeln und hupen…

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful place. We had a balcony with a view of the water (unfortunately the sliding door to the deck had a locking mechanism on it but the front desk remedied that with a quick response from maintenance staff). Loved the Nespresso machine, the very comfy beds, and friendly staff. We’ll be back!

Die Lage ist sehr gut, direkt an der langen Promenade. Mein Zimmer war großzügig und sauber, alles vorhanden das man braucht. Auf Anfrage konnte man mir ein Zimmer mit seitlichem Meerblick geben. Das Hotel hat direkt darunter ein kleines Café in dem man gegen Aufpreis frühstücken kann.

Die Zimmer A/B teilen sich eine gemeinsame Aussicht. Das Zimmer mit Balkon kann daher leider in das andere Zimmer einsehen und umgekehrt. Mich hat dieser Zustand nicht allzu sehr gestört, aber man sollte es wissen.

Comfortable and very well located suite hotel in White Rock. Good sized room with a large balcony. Room facilities allowed basic food preparation and cooking which was perfect for our two night stay.

OMG - the most comfy beds and pillows! We choose to stay at White Rock because of the Fifa World Cup caused hotel prices in the city to sky rocket. This was the alternative, and wow - 👌 great location - both the actual place and hotel. As far as we knew - the Cafe attached to the hotel was the only place open early (before 11am). We're from Australia and early risers. Highly recommend.

The room had modern ammenities and was very clean. We arrived at 5 am and William who was at the reception desk was friendly and very helpful.

Since we arrived early in the morning and was only in the hotel for a few hours there really wasn't anything that we didn't like.

Location , location The room and beds were comfortable. The décor was exactly as shown in the photos, which was very reassuring. We also enjoyed having a small view of the water, but it did come at a price!

The room layout was somewhat unusual. Our room was accessed through a shared entrance that led to two separate rooms. The neighboring room’s balcony was directly in front of our window, which meant there was very little privacy for either side. Guests on the balcony could easily see into our room, and our view was mostly of their balcony. Unfortunately, we were also unlucky with our neighbors during our stay. They frequently came and went late at night, loudly closing multiple doors each time. They also spent time on the balcony talking and laughing loudly until around 11:00 p.m., which was disruptive and made it difficult to fully relax in the room.

unser Zimmer war leider seitlich direkt am Bürgersteig. Einsehbar von den Passanten. Etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Im Allgemeinen sauber.

Die Zimmer sind ordentlich. Zimmer 109B ist jedoch Teil eines Familien-/Gruppenensembles, welches aus zwei Zimmern besteht. 109A war mit Balkon ausgestattet; dieser war jedoch direkt vor unserem Fenster. Wir hatten keinen Zugang. Das Zimmer war sehr ordentlich ausgestattet.

Insgesamt war das Zimmer viel zu dunkel, und man schaute auf eine Wand, was den Spaß doch recht trübte.

The hotel was an hour away from where we needed to be in Burnaby. The cost of the hotel was outrageous!!! I feel very taken advantage of as we were not there for Fifa! And I pay taxes in BC as I am a resident of BC!!!!!

Rooms are small . Checking in staff on arrival seemed very uninterested and indifferent bordering on strange. Sort of like we were intruding or interrupting their day. Any normal questions asked they seem to look at you as if how dare you and look of bewildered silence.

Loved that the hotel was across from the beach! It made the one hour distance to Vancouver not so bad. Also, love and appreciate the staff! Especially, when we arrived around 2am due to car trouble. They were wonderful and gracious.

To be honest, I never thought about staying in White Rock, since it's only about an hour's drive from Vancouver. While looking for a special place to celebrate my partner's birthday, I came across this ocean view room with a jacuzzi. The moment I saw it, I booked it immediately because I knew it would be a dreamy experience. And it truly was. The room was spacious, the jacuzzi was spotless, and the atmosphere was incredible!! Sitting in the tub with a freshly brewed cup of coffee, watching the sunset over the ocean and the beautiful beachfront homes, I honestly wished time could stand still in that moment. Overall, it was a wonderful stay that was absolutely worth it. An unforgettable experience that left us wanting to come back again!

We had a fine experience at this hotel. Picked it because it is on the beach at the bottom of all the hllls so didn't have to climb up and down to get to the beach and/or many restaurants. We did have an A/B suite which shared a main door but our neighbors must have been polite and respectful as their door didn't slam as they came and went. We didn't hear any noise from neighbors at all. The hotel is undergoing renovations but didn't find this to get in our way. There are train tracks outside but we did not hear the trains - maybe certain rooms are better than others for this. The staff was all great - friendly and helpful. Had a drink outside at the cafe which was nice to have available. We got there early enough to pick the parking spot that we preferred and didn't move our car after that so that was fine. Our room was large enough and the bed and shower were great - the a/c unit was a little noisy when it went on but it didn't disrupt our sleep. Overall, we had a good experience and would definitely stay here again.

There is underground parking. It was promoted as being $22 but ends up being $32 after taxes. A little deceptive. They should describe the rate for parking inclusive of the taxes that they will collect. The $32 is a significant percent of the room rate. On the plus side, they have some spots with EV charging stations and that was appreciated.

This property is fabulous. It’s right across the street from the ocean. It’s in a great location and within walking distance of several shops and restaurants. It is clean and updated. And the staff are so friendly.

I have nothing negative to say.
