The host was extremely kind and always helpful. The room was very comfortable and located in a nice, quiet area. I highly recommend it!

Everything was great, if I need a place in Surrey again in the future Sunny Island is on the top of my.list.

Pretty much everything

The owner couldn't resist the temptation to smoke, and since it's a house, not a hotel, the smell was somewhat annoying.

The location

Location was good. The environment was very quiet and peaceful. Owner was very friendly.

Room was very small. The Bed Spread was not clean. It had marks on it. It wasn't washed after used. The bathroom had hair on the floor. Even though we had a private bathroom, we had to go outside the room to access the bathroom which was not convenient.

Grande villa cossue dans un quartier résidentiel encore plus cossu, calme et sécurisé. Hôte chinois très très discret qui nous a transporté à l'aéroport pour in prix deux fois inférieur à celui d'un taxi officiel. Chambre avec dressing et salle de bain assez confortable.

Situé à presque 50km du centre-ville (mais c'était notre choix) il vaut mieux disposer d'une voiture. Le taxi peut coûter 80€. Avec deux bus et le métro on peut arriver au Downtown en 90 minutes. Le petit-déjeuner continental ou chinois est imposé et assez simple. La climatisation aussi est imposée et ne peut être contrôlée ni arrêtée.

spiral staircase although impressive was awkward, also lighting was poor. had to leave our shoes outside in the cold and damp.

Room is quite small and the private bathroom is private but you have to leave room into hallway to go to the bathroom next door.

Beautiful property! The owner was very welcoming. We had the master suit, there were a few issues but it was resolved immediately. Breakfast was lovely. Would have stayed longer if we had the time. Beds really comfortable.

Maybe a choice for breakfast, or checking what we would or wouldn’t have liked. It was lovely to come down to it cooked for us though. A little more bathroom care.

Hélas la salle de bain même privée est une pièce à côté de la chambre il faut sortir dans le couloir pour y aller (non mentionné dans le descriptif) Nécessité de mettre des claquettes (fournies) pour entrer dans la maison (dans laquelle le ménage n’est pourtant pas au top!) Mais le Pire …!! Draps pas changés nous avons dû insister et avons finalement changé de chambre . En effet présence de poils et cheveux sur les draps ..!!!!!! Salle de bain douteuse WC pas nettoyés Bref déçus de cet établissement bien noté au demeurant . Notre expérience n’a pas été bonne

There was no TV, and felt the room would have benefited with a desk / workstation and if I was being over critical the walk-in wardrobe room looked a little cluttered and messy.

Area and breakfast ok.

Not as advertised. Only a room. No en-suite bathroom; is outside in the corridor. Bed not very comfortable and room and bathroom grubby. Parking in the street and availability was not great. Had to remove shoes and leave them outside the house.

The owner was very welcoming. He helped with our luggage. The beds were nice and comfortable. The rainshower shower head in the bathroom was nice and soothing. Breakfast was freshly made with a choice of menu. All in all, it was a great experience.

The owner, Island, was always welcoming and made the most delicious breakfasts at a time convenient for me. The house is spacious, clean and very comfortable. The small touches like shampoo, conditioner and soaps was lovely. Location is excellent - quiet yet safe and well lit for single travellers. Thank you, Island, for a great place to stay!

We stayed for one night as it was located close to the border. It was clean and comfortable, we had a queen bedroom downstairs, with a private bathroom, which was next to the bedroom, so you had to go into the hallway and to the bathroom next door, but it was for that room only. The host was friendly and accommodating. There was a kitchen where you could make tea or coffee or use the fridge if you had supplies. Everything was good, the bed was comfortable, there was no road noise and it was very quiet, so we slept very well. We had breakfast which was very nice.

Separate bathroom, but at least it was just ours and only for one night.

Did not have opportunity for breakfast but it smelled great When I made reservation I did not mention that my daughter was staying there too When the hosts found out I was her mom they upgraded my room so I could be right beside hers At no extra charge!!!

The op thing that could have improved my experience was having more time to enjoy it

There is nothing you couldn't like about the facilities at Sunny Island, great hosts a lovely property, large bedroom with a very comfortable king bed in a very quiet neighborhood, paying extra for the breakfast is well worth it with freshly brewed coffee I would certainly stay there again when in the area if they have availability Thank you for a great stay

Very quiet neighborhood, a beautiful home, a private bathroom, a comfortable bed, and a delicious breakfast.

Everything was thoughtfully organized and beautifully decorated. This B&B is perfect.

The breakfast was amazing. The staff were even better. This privately run B&B has been put together with care and consideration. The couple were very polite, kind and considerate. They really cared about my comfort.

The room said it had air conditioning. It didn't, but it was nice and cool anyways. There was a window with privacy and a fan. So, I wasn't too hot.

It was in a very upscale, family oriented, quiet neighborhood - we felt very safe and secure with our cars parked on the street. The hosts were very nice and accommodating, the place was clean and spacious, and the rooms were luxurious and comfortable. For a party of 6 it was cheaper than booking a hotel, and this way we know the money is going towards supporting real people instead of a corporation. Even though we didn't opt for breakfast we were still offered coffee and a bite to eat before we left in the morning. Only a half hour drive to the Tsawwassen terminal.

There was a couple that checked in quite early the morning we were leaving, so the member of our party sleeping in the room next to theirs was woken up earlier than she intended by them going in and out of their room. The rest of us had occupied the entire downstairs so we were far enough away to sleep through it. This is a very specific circumstance but if you're concerned about being woken up by potential guests on a morning where you were hoping to sleep in, bring earplugs. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows for sleeping were quite flat. Bring your own pillow or be prepared to double up. I ended up putting one of the decorative pillows underneath just for some extra lift and it worked fine.

The host was very accommodating. Our flight got in late and he met us at the door after midnight and met us again early in the morning with breakfast. Very clean, great breakfast.

The temperature in the room was way too hot. We were under the impression that we were going to get breakfast but didn't even get a coffee. Would recommend it to anyone. Stay at Best Western next night bigger room, TV, private bathroom, coffee, and breakfast. Cost less also.

Very good. Basic bacon eggs, cooked fresh. Set menu it appears. Host very nice, unobtrusive.

Bed was firmer than we like. The listing description was as a hotel, not as high end B n B. A bit confusing. We put address into Maps and it said property was permanently closed! More confusion!

I had to run off early in the A.M. for an appointment so did not have time to enjoy what smelled to be a wonderful breakfast! The home was beautiful! The hosts were very accommodating and kind. The shower was great and it was very quiet.

My only complaint was the bed. I found it exceptionally hard BUT, I slept well, so maybe the bed I'm used to in my own home is simply too soft!
