Loved the location. Eating outside was so beautiful, looking out onto the port. Hotel was clean and staff very friendly. Would have like a few more options for food but what we had was very nice. Very dog friendly and nice little walk just outside in a lovely garden. Parking was 18€ when we arrived, eventhough I had been advised that it was 15€. Dogs are 20€ each extra which I asked before our stay.

The windows in one of the room we had were very high for me to look out, especially woth the views, but the room was very spacious and nice so made up for it.

El frigorífico que tenía mi habitación no era un frigorífico en si, sino un frigorífico de los que solo mantienen un poco la temperatura pero realmente no enfría demasiado

El horario del servicio de comida a la habitación es muy limitado. No había plancha. Me realizaron el cargo por mi reserva dos veces.

El aire acondicionado no iba bien, tuvimos que dormir con la ventana abierta para que entrará frescor, avise en recepción subió y lo que hizo fue mirar porque el no podia hacer nada porque los de mantenimiento no estaban de guardia

Había bastante variedad en el desayuno y la habitación cumplía con todo lo necesario. El servicio muy amable.

Sitio excepcional. Todo muy bien cuidado y limpio, en especial la persona que se encargaba de controlar el desayuno se veía que estaba atenta a todo , a la limpieza y a las dudas que los huéspedes pudiésemos tener.

We hadden, zoals op de website vermeld, een eigen Baskische keuken verwacht en ons daarop verheugd. Daar was helaas geen sprake van. Met een stukje zalm, een salade, pizza of hamburger maak je dat niet waar; was teleurstellend.

Relativ gute Lage

Ziemlich frequentierte Eisenbahnstrecke direkt vor dem Fenster = laut in der Nacht. Ankunft abends 22:15. Restaurant sowie Roomservice geschlossen,obwohl nach interner Beschreibung bis 22:30 geöffnet sein sollen. Personal nicht unbedingt höflich/ hilfsbereit. Frühstück für ein 4* Haus bescheiden, viel eingepacktes Zeugs…

No estaban limpias las ventanas de la habitación que ocupamos. Eran unas ventanas redondas de buhardilla y estaban llenas de excrementos de palomas. No se hacía la limpieza hacía mucho tiempo. Tuvimos que tener las cortinas corridas durante la estancia.

Food in the hotel itself could have been better and more available

The hotel is interesting to look at. It is very child friendly: there is a small playground near the bar, and a small indoor area with children's toys off the reception.

Unfortunately, the air conditioning in our room didn't work. Either that, or it was set to a temperature higher than the outside. In addition, the mini-fridge in the room didn't chill very effectively.

Las fotos no se corresponden con la realidad, el hotel se encuentra en condiciones de insalubridad con moho y humedades que intentan enmascarar con ambientadores que te dejan sin respiración y se queda el olor en la garganta, ropa… el tren pasa cada 15 min y se oye en las habitaciones aun con las ventanas cerradas. El hotel estaba sucio: todos los rincones, apliques y suelo. La entrada del hotel llena de colillas. Íbamos a quedarnos 4 días pero la primera noche decidimos marcharnos.

Las instalaciones necesitan actualizarse y estar mejor mantenidas una noche nos encontramos una cucaracha en la habitación. Lo peor es que está pegado a las vías del tren y el ruido de los trenes es muy molesto.

El momento de asomarnos a la ventana fue mágico. El hotel es precioso, pero la vista desde la ventana de la habitacion insuperable.

Es un hotel espectacular, la atención del personal exquisita.

El entorno, el encanto del hotel y el personal del mismo.

Nos encontramos una cucaracha en la pared de la habitación nada más entrar. No dijimos nada porque entendemos que al estar cerca del agua es algo que puede pasar, por la mañana encontramos otra en un baño al lado del desayuno.

IF YOU'RE CONSIDERING STAYING HERE, DON'T! We had a really awful experience, which was unfortunate since the pictures looked good. First of all, a single load of laundry cost us 84 euros, with no mention of there being any extra cost. They also tried to charge us 200+ euros for 'extra services', which after questioning they elaborated was for 2 days of parking (we don't have a car). The room faced the ocean but was very far from any beach (45 minutes walk), and the sound of trains passing below was loud throughout the night. Bathrobes were not included in the room price. Generally felt like we were being scammed and squeezed for every bit of money possible.

Et aussi le petit déjeuner pas terrible. In fine, un hôtel à éviter pour le niveau très moyen des prestations qu'il offre.

Al menos en la primera planta, huele a humedad. El tren/metro/tranvía hace temblar la habitación, es muy ruidoso. El parking es insuficiente y te advierten, ofreciéndote otros parking cercanos, pero no especifican que no tienen nada conveniado con ellos, por lo que pagas por horas un parking externo que está además al descubierto. Cuando limpian la habitación, no colocan la bolsa de basura, no reponen los pañuelos, no lavan los vasos…

la habitación estaba muy bien pero pasaba el tren por debajo cada varias horas se escuchaba y luego el tema del gimnasio se puede mejorar y los precios también. Por lo demás el palacio es maravilloso y muy chulo.

La limpieza de la habitación estaba bien. Pero de las áreas comunes no. De hecho desde que llegué hasta que me fui había una cucaracha en el pasillo. Nadie la sacó.

L’établissement est bien situé et le bâtiment est agréable. Malheureusement, ces quelques points positifs ont été largement éclipsés par les nombreux problèmes rencontrés pendant notre séjour.

Nous avons été extrêmement déçus par notre séjour, notamment au regard du standing annoncé d’un hôtel 4 étoiles. Nous avons été confrontés à de nombreuses fourmis dans les chambres, y compris dans les salles de bains. La situation était suffisamment importante pour que nous demandions nous-mêmes, avec insistance, à changer de chambre. Contrairement à ce que l’établissement affirme aujourd’hui, ce changement n’a donc pas été une solution spontanément proposée par l’hôtel : nous avons dû insister pour obtenir une autre chambre. Nous avons également constaté plusieurs problèmes de propreté et d’hygiène, notamment une tache ressemblant à du sang sur un drap. Après le traitement contre les fourmis, une forte odeur de produit insecticide était également présente. À cela se sont ajoutés des problèmes concernant l’accueil et l’attitude de certains membres du personnel, des difficultés concernant le service de restauration et l’accès à la terrasse, ainsi qu’un parking particulièrement étroit et difficile d’accès. Malgré notre réclamation détaillée, l’établissement refuse aujourd’hui de reconnaître la majorité des problèmes exposés et réduit notre expérience à une simple « présence ponctuelle de fourmis ». L’hôtel affirme également que nous demanderions environ 300 € d’indemnisation, alors que nous n’avons jamais demandé ni fixé ce montant. La seule erreur financière reconnue par l’établissement concernait les 40 € du supplément pour notre animal, qui ont depuis été remboursés. Pour le reste, l’hôtel propose uniquement 20 % de réduction sur un éventuel futur séjour, ce que nous considérons comme totalement inadapté au regard de l’expérience vécue.

La propreté des chambres. L'ensemble vieillot de l'hôtel. Le restaurant passable. Rien à voir avec un 4 étoiles. Plus de 200 euros la nuit pour un 2 étoiles.

Es bonito por fuera pero bastante viejito por dentro. El desayuno bastante bueno

Las habitaciones necesitan una reforma, están bastante viejas, con bañeras y muebles muy antiguos. Está justo encima de una estación de tren que pasa cada poco tiempo. Para las personas que no duermen bien es bastante molesto. En la zona no hay muchos bares ni restaurantes y el hotel no sirve comidas y cenas solo a la carta.

Desayuno, bien y muy buena atención. Habitación, tamaño adecuado y la terraza muy agradable. Vistas, excelente !

La ubicación, las vistas, el mismo palacio es un palacio estupendo y con unas vistas inmejorables el personal muy atentos y agradables.

Las plazas de parking muy justas para entrar y otros huéspedes aparcaban muy pegados que no sabes ni como salieron ellos del coche...

nonostante la gentilezza estrema dello staff, abbiamo avuto alcuni contrattempi: la seconda notte (di tre) si è allagato il bagno per una perdita nel soffitto, hanno cercato di trovarci una stanza sostituiva ma l'unica disponibile era nel sottosuolo e onestamente pervasa da un odore di unidità al limite dell'accettabile quindi la terza notte un'altra stanza..insomma tre notti, tre stanze..un po' scomodo a mio avviso, visto l'accaduto avrebbero potuto almeno offrirci le due bottigliette d'acqua prese nel frigo della hall...anche noi siamo stati gentili, accomodanti e pazienti, a volte un piccolo gesto ti fa sentire più comodo

La verdad es que el palacio como tal es impresionante.

El parking está regular, las plazas son pequeñas para los coches de ahora. Y creo que le falta unos cargadores eléctricos. El desayuno, para un hotel de 4**** me ha parecido un poco básico. En la mayoría de hoteles que he estado, cuando he pedido una tortilla francesa o un par de huevos fritos no ha habido problema. Aquí el huevo revuelto estaba poco hecho y no me han podido hacer el extra, que en ningún momento dije que no me parecía bien, pero ahora mismo lo he recordado

Location was amazing. Very close to the village and historic transporter bridge, and yet very quiet. The room very quite (towards park, not sea we had). Well sound proofed room it seemed. We had two doors in total towards the sleeping room (with the normal standard room), helped making it quiet. The building and it's interior was amazingly generous and beautiful. Full offer for snacks drinks, bathroom products, phone chargers and adapters etc. Strong and stable wifi. Amazing value for the price. Can fully recommend.

Great location with a beautiful view of the port. The historic building is impressive, and the reception staff were friendly.

The breakfast was disappointing. The fruit was old, with fruit flies around it and a spoiled taste. The breakfast staff made us feel constantly watched, which was uncomfortable. The room and bathroom were outdated, the sink was cracked, and the bathroom was not properly cleaned when we arrived.

Llegamos tarde y solo para pasar la noche. No pudimos aparcar en el hotel y tuvimos que aparcar fuera. Para ser un hotel de 4 estrellas y que tengas que pagar por aparcar fuera no me parece ,, pero en fin lo que más me decepciono fue la limpieza y la humedad que hay en las habitaciones. Nos dieron 2 habitaciones con vistas a las vías del tren donde cada vez que pasaba el tren el ruido era horrible, el descanso fatal. Además la limpieza en general fatal, telarañas en las esquinas que te llamaban la atención ,las 2 toallas grandes del baño sucias una de rímel y otra con manchas rojas, menos mal que siempre llevo toallas de casa. La humedad de la habitación horrible, todo estaba húmedo a tanto nivel que tuvimos que poner toallas en las camas para poder dormir. Si te sentabas en el sillón , lo mismo, Imposible , al cabo de los 3 min te levantabas con la espalada mojada. en fin una experiencia nefasta para lo que pagamos. En un apartamento seguro hubiera estado mas cómoda.

Nous avons été bien accueillis. Bâtiment et hall d’entrée très jolis. Les alentours sont agréables.

Chambres un peu vieillissantes qui mériteraient un petit rafraîchissement. Restaurant pas terrible et cher pour ce qu’on nous propose dans l’assiette.

It had comfy enough beds.

Has AC, but cannot be effectively controlled in the rooms so it was still pretty hot. Thin walls, heard our neighbors having a rave for a few hours and then some adult activities afterward.

Das Hotel hat eine interessante Lage, mit Blick auf das Wasser. Auch das Umfeld ist, wenn man maritime Umgebung mag, sehr nett. Das Zimmer selbst war sehr sauber und gepflegt und angenehm komfortabel.

Das Hotel liegt direkt an einer Bahnlinie, so dass man akustisch immer wieder in den Genuss der vorbeifahrenden Züge kommt… Lobby und Restaurantbereich wirken etwas verweist und in die Jahre gekommen, in einigen Fluren lag Müll und schmutzige Kleidung herum. Das Service Personal im Restaurant und Terrassenbereich empfanden wir als ziemlich lost, loss und unmotiviert, wir fühlten uns als Gas nicht wirklich gesehen oder willkommen. Das Personal am Empfang war sehr freundlich und sehr professionell! Dass wir im Nachhinein für die Tiefgarage 20 € bezahlen mussten, empfanden wir dann doch als zu teuer und nicht wirklich Service orientiert, da auch im Umfeld des Hotels wenig Parkmöglichkeiten vorhanden waren.

Frukost ingick inte i priset vilket jag kan tycka var lite snålt, det var ganska dyrt att bo där och så får man inte ens frukost. Läget var perfekt gångavstånd från centrum och hamnen. Vår AC gick sönder första dagen och det var inget problem med att få byta rum.

Lite dåligt städat generellt, mögelfläckar i fogarna i badrummet, skulle behöva fixas. Ingen AC i själva hotellet utan bara på rummen, det var galet varmt och svårt att tänka korrekt i receptionen.

The hotel was fine overall, but in my opinion it’s not worth the fare of €185 per night. We requested a double (matrimonial) bed, but since the hotel was fully booked, we were given two separate beds instead. Our room had a view over the train station, which wasn’t ideal. The hotel was clean, but it felt a bit run down and could definitely use some improvements and modernization.

Ac wasn’t great , we had a balcony but it was filthy ,dirty table , dust and dirt in corners not a nice place to sit , when we checked in there was a bowl of dog food in our room , when I requested a non dog friendly room , I was told all the rooms were dog friendly so avoid this hotel if you’ve any allergies , and curtains and furniture looked like they had been peed on , wasn’t a great stay

Ein ehemaliger Palast als Hotel mit schöner Terrasse, von der aus man einen wunderbaren Blick auf den Hafen hat.

Das Personal war stets sehr freundlich. Die Lage ideal, da wir an einer Konferenz teilgenommen haben, die in der UNED stattfand, also sozusagen gleich um die Ecke.
