It felt it needed some upgrades, like AC. Not clear how to access hotel upon arrival. Address took you to the carpark enterance. Maybe some info upon booking, ie “if reservation, press hotel button at car park enterance and follow yellow line for hotel. Additional charges apply for carpark. Access to reception from garage”..!

Nothing. Even people watching at lunch next morning the lady I saw in the bar yesterday lunch time served me for breakfast in hotel.

Le hacía falta una reforma y se escuchaba un poco otros inquilinos pero no me importaría repetir y lo recomiendo.

Reviewed Sep 2, 2026Das Hotel ist schon etwas älter, hat aber ein gewissen Charme. Die Betten waren bequem. Es gibt keine Klimaanlage, für eine Nacht war es aber okay. Es war sauber. Überraschend gut war das Frühstück. Es ist eine gute Alternative für ein Hotel etwas außerhalb von Bilbao.
Die Parkplatzsituation ist nicht besonders gut. Wir hatten keinen Parkplatz gebucht und nun war das Parkhaus besetzt. Nach ein paar Runden durch den Ort, haben wir aber einen Parkplatz direkt am Kreisverkehr gefunden. Man muss im Kreisverkehr halten um zum Hotel zu kommen.

It was on the outskirts so if you wanted someplace to eat you needed to take the underground.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2026A lovely comfortable room, facing the roundabout. However it was too hot for me, with no air conditioning, mid-August 2026. I Had to leave the windows open to try for air, then the mosquitoes bit me on my sleep. Had to buy an electric repellant for the remaining nights. Really noisy beyond midnight due to human nightlife and traffic noise. Investment in air conditioning is a must for this hotel, but I appreciate it is expensive for the hotel company to install. Great hotel but the lack of air conditioning will put me off summer visits. I may try again in the winter.

Tiene falta de algún arreglo, que no afectó a nuestra estancia, SALVO Que tenía una olor fuerte a humedad que salía del armario, que lo comentamos en recepción y nos cambiaron de habitación de inmediato, con las mismas comodidades. MUY BIEN, nos hubiéramos quedado algún día más.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026La colazione ha una discreta varietà di scelta, per cui la valuto positivamente. Il parcheggio sotto l'albergo, a pagamento, è comodo per lasciare la macchina al sicuro e raggiungere il centro di Bilbao con la metro, che è comodissima e si trova a soli 100 metri dall'hotel.
Le camere erano spaziose e i letti comodi, però l'impatto è di un ambiente un pò vecchio, sicuramente si potrebbero riammodernare sia le camere che gli stessi bagni. Comunque le camere erano pulite.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026The beds are super comfortable. The rooms are quite spacious. Everything was perfectly clean. The breakfast wasn’t particularly varied, but there was a good enough selection, including cereals, yogurt, bread, croissants, cheese and cold cuts.
The location wasn’t too bad, but it was a bit far from the main restaurant area, about a 30 minute walk.

Slechte wifi op de kamer. De slechte aanwijzing naar de receptie van het hotel. Op het adres is een bar met onvriendelijk personeel. Op een andere aanwijzing was een glazen deur voor appartementen boven het hotel. Achter de onderdoorgang van het flatgebouw was de deur naar de receptie, alles bijelkaar zeer verwarrend.

Wi-fi was almost non-existant in the mian bedroom. Had to be in the front room to be able to get signal

Reviewed Aug 6, 2026En general muy buen hotel, nos estuvimos 2 familias con habitaciones cuádruple y una triple, tienen un buen baño con secador, toallas, gel de ducha y jabon de manos, vasos para enjuagar y en frente de las camas una tele colgada, mesitas, ventilador, colchas y almohadas extras, en general se duerme bien además está en un barrio que no es ruidoso, tiene parquing lo cual facilita las cosas ya que si que es verdad que cuesta encontrar aparcamiento alrededor del hotel y lo mejor es que tampoco necesitas sacarlo del garaje ya que cerca del hotel tienes la entrada del metro para poder moverse por donde desees, te facilita visitar las barriadas cercanas como portugalete, el campo del san mamés, basali, etc. Por suerte el personal del hotel ya sea el de mañana, tarde o noche son súper amables, atentos y te facilitan la ayuda que se necesites. El desayuno no es que sea muy abundante pero está bastante bien(crosanes, bolleria, torradas, mermeladas, nocilla, tomate,aceite y sal, cereales, cafés, infusiones, colacaos, zumos, iogures, fruta, embutidos)
El único inconveniente que le pondría sería que cuesta poner el agua templada y las duchas necesitarían un cambio 😉

Невероятно душно и шумно. Под окном автобусная остановка, с раннего утра автобусы стоят подолгу незаглушив двигатель. В номере очень душно и спать с закрытыми окнами невозможно, а при открытых шум с улицы, и запах выхлопа от автобусов. Шум вечером от кафе, ночью и с раннего утра от машин, техники. Так же фонари светят прямо в окна, а плотные шторы не закрыть все по той же причине духоты. Сам номер очень уставший, сантехника работает плохо. Дверь в туалете в номере 2 заедает и чтобы ее открыть нужно ее приподнять и толкнуть одновременно, это очень шумная процедура.

El personal del hotel muy atento sobre todo la señora del comedor y las señoras que arreglaban la habitación. La ubicación es perfecta, está al lado del metro que va a Bilbao. Hay muchos bares, supermercados etc. Desayuno está muy bien.
No había aire acondicionado y sólo teníamos un ventilador pequeño. El hotel un poco viejo.

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026We needed a simple accommodation on the outskirts of Bilbao where we could park our car and spend the night. We found exactly what we were looking for.
The breakfast was rather modest and could benefit from more variety, especially fresh vegetables. The hotel is located near a roundabout with bus stops, so traffic noise is almost constant. A quieter room facing the courtyard would be a better choice for a more peaceful stay. We were especially impressed by some members of the staff. A young employee even thanked us in Lithuanian and kindly started a conversation, which was a very pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, the older gentleman who assisted with the parking arrangements was quite unfriendly and reluctant to explain how to access the garage. His attitude made us feel uncomfortable, as if we had done something wrong, which was a disappointing contrast to the otherwise positive interactions.

Habitación muy ruidosa. No hay aire acondicionado y hacia demasiado calor. El agua de la ducha sale con muy poca presión y la temperatura o muy caliente o muy fría. Imposible regularla( por lo menos la que nos tocó a nosotros)

Reviewed Jul 8, 2026Very convenient location, quite near the ferry port. Clean, comfortable room. Continental breakfast was good. Parking is very secure and worth the additional charge.
Air conditioning would have been good as it was so hot and we had to have the windows open and it was quite noisy outside. We've stayed here before in the winter when it was cooler.

Reviewed Jul 7, 2026Muy buena experiencia en el Hotel San Jorge. La ubicación es excelente, justo al lado de la estación de metro, lo que facilita mucho los desplazamientos. La habitación era amplia, cómoda y muy limpia. Además, el personal fue siempre amable y atento, haciéndonos sentir bienvenidos desde el primer momento. Sin duda, una opción muy recomendable por su relación calidad-precio.

Todo problemas: check-in, factura, posibilidad de llevar desayuno si no te ajustas a horario; mucho calor en habitación; baño de los años 70 u 80, por lo menos; moqueta en suelo que dificulta limpieza, etc.

pensabamos que segun la reserva da a entender que entra parking privado en la reserva pero no es asi, son 12€ por dia adicional si necesitas parking para coche, esta informacion aparece en la reserva dentro del menu de todos los servicios, en la primera vista del alojamiento no lo indica.
