Really good resort, perfect for families! Beautiful grounds and great beach access.

No geral, tivemos uma experiência muito positiva. Talvez alguns pequenos detalhes pudessem ser melhorados, mas nada que tenha afetado de forma significativa a nossa estadia.

2 (unfortunately large) downsides. The pool is incredibly salty- if it goes in your eyes it is extremely painful. The surrounds are black marble and I burnt my feet walking from pool to lounger (no joke) Secondly, the add ons and prices are eye watering. €195 for 3hrs babysitting, €385 for a 1hr massage, €30 for a 30min pedals ride. The website touts free kids food at every page- we were charged full price everywhere. This isn’t service or customer led, it’s blatantly financially driven and takes the sheen off the stay To the extent it puts me off staying at another Grechotel - which is a huge shame

We didn't need to leave the facility, we had everything we wanted. Great food, great bar, great gym, great beach and pools. We had the perfect getaway weekend!

The setting / beach is beautiful, and the staff were genuinely kind and responsive. Once I raised my concerns, they made a real effort to address them and improve the remainder of my stay, which I appreciated.

As someone looking for a higher-end solo getaway, I really wanted to love Cape Sounio, but unfortunately the experience didn't match the premium price. I booked a Sea & Temple View bungalow, but the view was obstructed by the main building and telecom equipment. The landscaping on and around my patio was overgrown and poorly maintained. Most notably, large gaps around the exterior door allowed strong winds and outside noise to come through all night, making it very difficult to sleep. Yoga was another disappointment. The wellness programming was one of the main reasons I chose the resort, but all scheduled yoga classes (usually 2-3 per day) during my stay were cancelled. There were also smaller service issues, including being given a broken charging adapter and difficulty getting basic service at breakfast. While I appreciated the staff's efforts to resolve my concerns, having to spend so much of my short stay raising issues and pushing for solutions took away from the experience. Ultimately, the property didn't deliver the effortless level of luxury I expected. One other FYI: the resort is quite isolated, which I hadn't fully realized before arriving. There isn't much within walking distance, so that's worth keeping in mind if you plan to explore or dine elsewhere.

Świetna lokalizacja z pięknym widokiem z pokoju na świątynię Posejdona. Wszelkie udogodnienia, siłownia z zajęciami, dużo atrakcji dla dzieci, plaża , basen. Bardzo dobre śniadania. Wieczorem atrakcyjne menu w restauracjach. Ciekawa muzyka na żywo i możliwość miłych wieczorów z dobrym drinkiem. Bardzo miła i profesjonalna obsługa. Polecam!

Do poprawy w pokoju są drzwi tarasowe, niekomfortowy system otwierania. Drzwi wejściowe wymagają poprawy są szpary przez które wchodzi światło i małe robaki.

Location and service were great

The room did not worth 700 euro per night and five stars category. Small details like safety box not working (despite we called room service to repair), missing tissues in the bathroom, aged furnitures.

La location è impareggiabile con vista sul Tempio di Poseidon. La struttura si integra perfettamente nel paesaggio. Gli spazi esterni e interni sono eleganti, arredati con stile e dotati di ogni comfort. La spiaggia è ottimamente attrezzata e l’acqua è cristallina. Ci sono a disposizione ben due spiagge private, una con sabbia e una con pietre. L’esperienza di snorkeling è stata indimenticabile. I trasferimenti all’interno della struttura sono garantiti grazie a un servizio di transfer su golf car. I numerosi punti ristoro sono accoglienti, eleganti e consentono un’ampia scelta di menù. La colazione è da 10! Direi la migliore colazione mai vista! Un plauso particolare al personale sempre presente, gentile e disponibile. Durante il mio soggiorno ho avuto un piccolo incidente e il loro supporto è stato immediato e professionale: bravi! In generale, i Grecotel sono di altissimo livello e, anche questa volta, non hanno deluso!

Alcuni servizi extra e alcune voci di menù (es. SPA, vino al calice, cena a buffet) hanno, a mio avviso, un prezzo troppo elevato tenendo in considerazione le tariffe già alte per il soggiorno. Attenzione ai tempi di riassetto delle camere, non sempre tempestivi.

Чрезмерное внимание официантов в заведениях. Не дают уединиться и насладиться атмосферой. Подходят каждые пару минут и спрашивают все ли хорошо. После четвертого раза уже появляется раздражение.

Staff were exceptional. Lots to look at, eat and drink while the kid was at Kids Club.

avrei gradito un bar aperto sino alle 2 AM visto che si fa con naturalezza anche tardi chiaccherando davanti ad un bel gin tonic.

Un Hotel precioso lleno de Naturaleza y unas vistas increíbles al templo de Poseidón. Todo el personal super amable, nos ayudaron en todo lo que necesitábamos haciendo que nuestra estancia fuera perfecta. Nos gustó muchísimo la piscina de agua de sal y la playa del Hotel con hamacas privadas. También destacar el buffet del desayuno, con mucha variedad, comida fresca y muy saludable y la terraza también con vistas preciosas al templo.

This trip was completely unplanned; an impulsive booking. I had no idea what Sounio was; I simply booked it on a whim. The location took my breath away. I have been traveling for the past 15 years, and this destination may be my favorite so far. The pine trees everywhere create such a beautiful, peaceful atmosphere that is truly good for the soul. What made the experience even more special was the staff. Everyone was hardworking, responsive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. I also appreciated the diversity of the team in terms of both gender and nationality. Don’t miss the honey tasting experience with the Agále team. They are incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and well-educated about bees and honey, making the experience both enjoyable and memorable. Every restaurant in the resort has its own vibe and memorable experience I will not forget. Cape Sounio is the perfect destination to disconnect and recharge. In fact, I didn’t leave the resort during my stay because I found everything I needed there. It gave me a much needed break from my busy and demanding daily routine. They also allowed my late check out. Beautiful team all of them.

The only thing needs to be improved in my opinion is the cleaning service. Cleaning might happens late after 1:00 pm. It happened twice to me, came back afternoon from the beach to find my room uncleaned; I had to ask for the service and waited 45 minutes to get the service done. So, You need to ask in advance if you would like to get your room cleaned earlier than afternoon.

Struttura stupenda perfettamente integrata con il paesaggio. Personale cordiale sempre pronto ad aiutarti, bella spiaggia ad uso esclusivo e scelta tra diversi ristoranti. Bellissima vista sul tempio di Poseidone. Perfetto per rilassarsi.

Depuis notre arrivée, jusqu'à notre départ, tout à été parfait dans ce séjour. L'emplacement est magnifique, la villa est très joliment décorée, confortable et calme. Le jardin est superbe, tout comme le reste de l'hôtel. Le service est impeccable, avec un personnel adorable, souriant et prévenant. La plage est belle, la vue splendide et la nourriture des différents restaurants absolument délicieuse. Merci!

Gorgeous property- well maintained and amazing staff! 10/10!

The room was aesthetically nice at first glance … but the towels were rough and cheap. The robes felt like bristles. There was a urine stain on our mattress. The front door is not sealed and a huge centipede was crawling around our bathroom. Also, the furniture was cheap. During this trip, in the center of Athens, we stayed at Hotel Grande Bretagne. The pricing is the same as Cape Sounio Resort, the customer service was as excellent as the customer at HGB, but the furniture, the bed, the fixtures, and the room accessories at Cape Sounio can not begin to compare. It was like they furnished the rooms through Ikea. I felt ripped off.

Excellent location, facilities, friendly staff and perfect cuisine

Some facilities needed a bit of maintenance like the rusted handrails on the swimmingpool.

We stayed at Cape Sounion as newly weds for our first 3 nights together. It was the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff were amazing (thank you Irina, Spyridoula, Chrysanthi, Antonis, Ioanna, Manousos and so many others). We were greeted and welcomed at 6am (after our wedding party finished) with cake and champagne! The room was luxurious beyond imagination.The facilities were beyond perfect. The breakfast and food in general, was literally licking our fingers good and of course very greek. And don’t forget the views…the deep blue of the Aegean sea and the temple of Poseidon… I have no words…views only unique to this hotel. We loved every second. You made our special weekend more unique and thank you for sharing our happiness. See you soon

Location makes journeying from the airport and into Athens a bit expensive but worth it for the view of the Temple.

The staff was amazing, evwrywhere helpful and full of smiles!Amazing breakfast buffet as well as the afternoon one!Special dishes every night and great variety for the kids to choose from!Amazing room with the open shower being half the room!

The tables on the room were for decoration and didn't have place to put our stuff.

We loved the view, the hotel is beautiful! The rooms was massive. The pool, the beach the playground for kids and the possibility of putting bigger kids at the kids club is great. The fresh fish at the restaurant was lovely although pricy. Also the beach restaurant was beautiful. Breakfast was okay.

However, everything was expensive and I mean everything. Despite the luxury price you pay for the room, nothing is free from the mini bar, they only give 1 bottle of water per day (for 4 people !) which felt cheap tbh. There was a free bottle of Prosecco but as we don’t drink alcohol that was useless. And honestly I would have rather they’d given us soft drinks or crisps instead.They also don’t refill the consumables in the room( soap and biscuits). You also need to book the hotel restaurant for dinner even if the restaurant is empty. The buffet for 70pp was way too mid for that price. In fact everything was mid. They also price up everything taxi, restaurant prices are like those of a Michelin star restaurant without the flavour. The restaurant food was decent enough but for those prices I’d want more flavour. It was like they were worried about making the food flavourful. Please add more garlic, lemon, cream, also why so little choice in vegetables for sides? Basically I’ve been to luxury prices hotels where everything felt more luxurious. We felt like it was a bit like a tourist trap. Beautiful location but very expensive for what it is. Basically give your guests more consumables in the room, and fix the flavours in the menu by getting a chef to amend the recipe and it’s the perfect holiday spot.

Wonderful resort with incredible amenities, the location is great with huge outdoor heated seawater pool, private beach, excellent food. Our villa had a private pool and sea views including the Temple. Fantastic place where to relax and spend a few quiet days resting and enjoying the weather. Friendly and professional staff.

The views are absolutely stunning waking up and seeing the sea like that is something special. The architecture blends beautifully with the natural surroundings, creating a very calming and elegant atmosphere. The overall serenity of the place makes it perfect for truly switching off and relaxing. I also really appreciated how easy it is to move around the hotel; everything feels well thought out and accessible. Being so close to nature adds to the experience, making it feel peaceful and immersive rather than just a typical resort stay. Finally, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole stay even more enjoyable.

The main disappointment was the food. While there are several dining options and a large buffet, the overall quality did not match the price point. I found the buffet to be quite underwhelming in both selection and quality, and the pool restaurant was particularly poor. For a hotel of this caliber and infrastructure, I expected a much higher standard when it comes to the food offering. Unfortunately, this aspect of the stay did not live up to expectations and was disappointing overall. I do hope that management will work on improving this, as it would significantly enhance the overall experience and add a lot of value to the property.

Fantastisch hotel. De service is out of this world. Het personeel doet er werkelijk alles aan om het verblijf onvergetelijk te maken. De housekeeping, de sommelier alsook de restaurantmanager, allemaal zijn het vakmensen. Het zwembad is prachtig, het strand heel fijn, nog nooit op zulke comfortabele zwembad- en strandbedjes gelegen. De kamer is zeer ruim en modern met een aparte badkamer voor de kinderen en een deur om de slaapkamers van elkaar af te sluiten. Het uitzicht op de tempel van Poseidon is adembenemend. Onze kinderen hebben (onverwacht) heel veel tijd doorgebracht met het Grecoland team, ze vonden het daar geweldig. Alles is ingericht om het gezinnen met kinderen zoveel mogelijk naar de zin te maken en tegelijkertijd is het geen luidruchtig gezinshotel maar heel rustig en aangenaam. Het ontbijtbuffet is uitstekend en we hebben met name ook genoten van ons diner in ‘the restaurant’. Het is geen goedkoop hotel maar we vonden dat je al met al een goede value for money krijgt.

Er loopt een weg door het hotelterrein heen, tussen het hotel en het strand, desondanks is het strand vanaf het hotel gemakkelijk te bereiken door een tunneltje naar het strand.

Incredible hospitality from start to finish - an incredible welcome, never needing for anything and staff ready to meet every request with such grace.

Not all of the advertised restaurants were open but that was due to the time of the year (mid April). Something to be aware of.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special and memorable. The resort has a wide range of activities that guests can stay from and enhance their experience, which is a game changer.

As always, everything is great at the Grecotel ! The place has been recently renovated, the personel is very attentive, the restaurants are perfect... And very kid-friendly if needed !

Ein wunderschönes Hotel: die Lage, der Blick auf den Tempel, die wunderschöne Anlage, das frisch renovierte Zimmer...Essen wirklich top. Toller Empfang und sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter.

Natürlich hat der Service und das Niveau dieses Hotels seinen Preis. Aber vielleicht auch an der ein oder anderen Stelle doch etwas ambitionierte Preise für griechische Verhältnisse. Ein Haken im.Bad fehlte :-)

Sehr guter Service bei dem Wünsche sofort erfüllt wurden. Die Zimmer zwischen den Bäumen sind sehr idyllisch gelegen und der geheizte Pool davor, war vor allem und der kühleren Vorsaison, eine Freude. In den verschiedenen Restaurants ist die Auswahl hervorragend. Nur eine Stunde von Athen entfernt eine sehr empfehlenswerte Oase der Erholung für Gross und Klein.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sicher einmalig. Der Service sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Da Nebensaison war es sehr angenehm ruhig. Die Zimmer waren sehr gut und der Ausblick einmalig

Der Check in war mangelhaft. Statt 15 Minuten mußten wir über eine Stunde warten ohne nachvollziehbare Erklärung und ohne dem gast die Zeit zu erleichtern. Das Essen in dem Buffetrestaurant war zu teuer für das Gebotene. Zudem wurden wir eine halbe Stunde vor Schließung mit lauten Aufräumarbeiten schlichtweg hinausgeworfen. Nicht akzeptabel für ein 5 Sterne Hotel.

Start of the season. All AC was set to heat mode and could not be changed, resulting in a need to turn it off and have open windows at night (some mosquitos). Not a big issue considering time of year but came as a surprise to not be able to use the AC. Slightly overpriced dinner/food options.
