Traditional Balinese accommodation, which we like. It is a little dated but that is to be expected for the timeframe when it was built. Can not fault the exceptional service provided by the staff. Great buffet breakfast, room's exceptionally big stayed (305 top floor & 301 ground floor). Location is perfect on beach front.

I liked everything

This the second time I have stayed at Pelangi Bali. That in itself sends a strong message about my rating of this place. I find the staff outstanding and helpful in every way to make your stay pleasant and enjoyable. The rooms and facilities are not super-modern but comfortable and very good. I love the location both in terms of proximity to the beach and to Seminyak shopping etc.

Stellar customer service and location. We were only there as an in-between before having to catch an early flight back home. Beds were very comfy!

Siamo stati benissimo e il personale è stato sempre gentile e professionale. Per il mio compleanno mi hanno fatto trovare (a sorpresa) una piccola torta con un biglietto.

Se proprio dobbiamo dire qualcosa di negativo essendo un hotel a 4 stelle magari servirebbe una cura piu accurata dei dettagli inteso come ristrutturazione di alcune cose, ecco manutenzione accuarta

Struttura praticamente sulla bellissima spiaggia di Seminyak. Tanti localini e ristoranti a pochi metri. Camera spaziosa e pulita. Giardino curatissimo e piscina fantastica. La colazione era ottima e varia e lo staff super gentile e cordiale.

6th stay. Love it. Pity it isn’t as laid back a location as 20 years ago - but nothing ever stays the same. View from pool area out to sea has virtually disappeared. Disappointing

Last day there was a cockroach in our room but the staff helped us to get it out.

Breakfast - excellent, with a good variety of fresh and delicious options. Everything was well presented and enjoyable. Location - fantastic, convenient and on the beach . It made getting around very easy.

I actually find smoking quite offensive and the outside area had no segregation for smokers and non smokers. This would make a positive difference to me and all the other people who have a similar distain for smoking.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura per una notte ad agosto e ne siamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti. La camera era molto bella, curata e pulita, con un letto grandissimo e comodissimo. Staff accogliente, gentile e disponibile. Ottima anche la posizione, a soli 1 minuto dalla spiaggia, perfetta per ammirare tramonti fantastici, e in una zona ricca di bar e ristoranti. Colazione buona e molto ricca, e abbiamo anche pranzato in struttura trovandoci molto bene. Lo consiglio assolutamente e ci tornerei volentieri!

The rooms are old fashioned

The hotel location is in front of the beach , but does not have a private beach, the breakfast is somewhat standard good enough but not awesome. The room size is big for family of four with extra bed. The beach is walking 2 mins from the hotel, the beach shacks are nice, the night atmophere on the beach is awesome.

The check in process took longer than usual circa an hour and half , the Front Desk rep Mr. Geramantu was a tough nut and not very cooperative . I was charged 1 time on the card however he was not ready to accept in spite of showing him the deduction from the bank, in this discussion he could have handed over the key to my family as they wanted to use washroom etc. However he did not allow the same so I ended up paying 2 times until the bank confirmed the transaction did not happen. Mr. Geramentu needs training on using the POS machine. The hotel is bit old property

Loved everything

The property was very nice and I’d definitely stay again. The room was clean with everything I needed. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The location is central and has beach access by crossing a small lane way. Infinity pool right next to the beach with no issue getting sun loungers. There was plenty of availability. Breakfast was decent with a range of items.

Very, very slight mouldy smell in the room—not enough to even complain about. Also, I was on the 1st floor—lobby and exit on 2 but I didn’t see any lifts. Day to day it’s not a big deal for me, but if someone had mobility issues could be problematic.

Location was the main feature

Not much variety at breakfast most things had run out by 9am. No lifts.

Very old Otel it’s not worth the money. There is a lot of better Otel luxury and half price. I don’t recommend this hotel to nobody. It’s kind of an old and the breakfast is really bad and very expensive not recommended at all.

Balcony a little small but did not affect our stay

It was in a wonderful position right on the beach. Absolutely beautiful for sunsets and beach activities such as surfing, horse riding and swimming. So close to shops and beachside restaurants. The pool and restaurant at the hotel are lovely, the staff are so friendly and attentive.

I loved everything about the hotel. Couldn’t fault it. Superb, so glad I stayed there and will return next time I am in Bali.

This was our 6th stay at The Pelangi. We come back every time we visit Bali. The rooms are great and very comfortable. The staff are so friendly, the pool is great. And the location is amazing - right on the beach but also in a great shopping area. We highly recommend stay there.

Few aesthetic issues, broke tiles at pool and a very loose step at pool bar! Bit outdated and run down, needs some maintenance but otherwise nice hotel.

The location of Pelangi is perfect it’s right across from the beach, you can even sit there in pool chairs or whilst having breakfast, lunch and dinner and see the pool. Yet the road it’s situated on is quiet and off the main road. The staff are all so beautiful, welcoming and always happy, they felt like our second family. The food was stunning, I’ll be dreaming about this cashew chicken I got it everyday.

I could not fault our stay.

Staff are exceptional, the most professional and helpful I have ever experienced in Bali. Pool and location are superb.

Third stay. Breakfast terrible. Same as eight years ago. Not fresh. Towels thin & threadbare & stained. Sheets stained. Underlay on bed stained. Had to request to change. Never enough towels by the pool. Toilet kept getting blocked.

Huge rooms and they call the beds double but they're really king size. It was great being right in the beach and so close to fantastic places to eat. Loved the pool and the staff were great.

There's a lane between the pool and beach which scooters went down which was a little noisy when sitting by the pool but not a problem

It was clean and very well maintained, breakfast was good, location was great and pool was clean and big. We would definitely stay here again, the resort was the best part of our time in Seminyak.

Friendly staff, amazing location by the beach, good breakfast, rooms are very clean, air con works a treat, great shower and the beds were comfy. Its our second time staying here and would stay here again. Also the pool is fantastic, its so big so doesnt feel crowded and the temperature was perfect.

The dinner was okayish but wouldnt order a meal there again.

The location is unbeatable. It’s right on the beach and within walking distance of so many restaurants, bars, markets and shops, with a Circle K and laundromat just outside the hotel. The staff were always friendly and welcoming. Our standard room was clean, comfortable had good air conditioning and a very comfortable bed. The pool was great(even if a little cold, it was refreshing in the Bali heat), and we also really enjoyed the hotel spa.

The rooms are a little dated, but they were still clean and comfortable. Breakfast was decent but could have had a bigger variety. We also weren’t huge fans of the egg station. instead of having cooked eggs available in the bain-marie with the rest of the hot breakfast, you have to order your eggs, wait while they’re cooked, and then collect them. We also found the food at the hotel restaurant wasn’t as fresh or as good as the amazing restaurants nearby, so we’d recommend eating out. As the hotel is right on the beach, it can be noisy at night with nearby nightlife and fireworks.
