The so called ' onam sadhya ' : highlight of this trip.was a.diaappointment .

Serene green property. Lunch and dinner ala carte food was very good. Kayaking was fun.

Room size is too small. Breakfast and hi-tea options were decent and taste was below average. Not much to do in the resort in terms of activities. The TT table is 50 years old - they should have a decent games/recreation room at this price.

Very beautiful - the views are exceptional

It is such a peaceful environment within and around the resort. The staff makes all the difference. The warm traditional welcome makes you feel at home straight away. The staff members take good care of you throughout the stay. Great check-out and departure experience. Loved the Vembanad sea food bar.

Aging is starting to show in some parts of the villa but I wouldn't see it as a big issue because the property overall is superbly maintained.

The bathroom needs maintenance. O hotwater. Lukewarm water would be available only after leaving taps open for 10-12 minutes. The jacuzzi in our room was broken. The walls were shabby with mildew

Breakfast was really good. Food at the Multicusine restaurant was also excellent.

Inside room snacks and drinks could have been part of the reservation rather than charging the guest for each item.

첫날 방에 모기가 있어서 힘들었습니다. 이튿날부터는 방역에 신경을 써 주어서 잘 쉴 수 있었습니다. 자쿠지가 중앙관리식이라서 물을 틀거나 물을 빼는 것도 모두 프런트에 전화를 해야 하는 것은 좀 불편했어요. 전통가옥형식이라 문과 자물쇠가 조금 불편했어요.

Wonderful resort with beautiful grounds, fabulous staff and delicious food. We had one night on a houseboat and the second night in a villa with our own pool/jacuzzi. Attention to detail was amazing. Highly recommend

Super schön gelegen an der Backwaters. Mr Kavi war immer present, hilfsbereit und hat sich toll um unsere Kids gekümmert.

Leider wird ein Teil des Resorts renoviert, daher ist der große Pool nicht zugänglich gewesen.

The houseboat was lovely and the staff were great. The food onboard was excellent. Would very much recommend this experience to see the beautiful Kerala waterways. I liked that the boat option was alongside the room options so very easy to book. You only need one might to experience the waterways and I imagine the one bed boats book up well in advance during high season. The pool villas are also wonderful.

It was raining heavily and because I was on the houseboat I had nothing to do from when we docked back at 9am until leaving at 2.45pm for my flight. This is a bit of a watch out if the weather is bad (if good you can laze by the lovely infinity pool) as there are no lounge areas and the spa doesn’t have anywhere to relax. The resort manager kindly arranged a room for me to relax and get changed in after seeing me at a loose end. Very kind. It also meant I got to see the beautiful river villas, each one with access into the water.

What a wonderful experience! The resort is absolutely stunning. The rooms, designed in traditional Kerala architecture, were spacious, elegant, and impeccably clean. We especially loved the outdoor bathroom, which added a unique and luxurious touch to the stay. The property itself was immaculate, offering spectacular views at every turn. The cruises through Vembanad Lake and the backwaters were truly unforgettable and an absolute must-do. We were able to spot so many different species of birds, making the experience even more special. Having traveled extensively, what stood out most was the exceptional hospitality and attention to detail from the staff. Everyone was professional, courteous, and genuinely kind. A special mention to Arun, the potter, for sharing fascinating insights into pottery and patiently guiding us through the class. We would also like to thank Shaji, the resort driver, who made our journey to the next destination enjoyable with several thoughtful pit stops along the way.

The whole place is immaculate — the attention to detail and the attentiveness from staff was like nowhere else. And the breakfast was truly the best I’ve ever experienced.

The food and the service staff wear all excellent.They have better breakfast and food options than anywhere else.

It’s already showing wear and tear.It badly needs an upgrade.

Perfectly maintained and super-friendly employees, who seem happy to work there. The place is relatively expenses because it’s genuine luxury, and luxurius just because it is expensive. Paradise on Earth.

Goodness, this was an amazing stay. Staff, cleanliness and food was exceptional. Especially enjoyed afternoon tea and the sunset boat ride. Breakfast offered such an array of wonderful, delicious consumptions. Massala tea - the best! Great evening entertainment. We stayed in a Heritage villa with a private pool and was wonderful having a semi outside bathroom - really enjoyed our 5 nights.

Only slight improvement would be some more comfy loungers by villa pool. But this was so minor and didn't spoil our stay at all.

Дуже красиве місце, доглянута територія, багато птахів та дрібних тварин. Справжнє єднання із природою. Чудовий власний невеликий басейн у віллі. Оформлення вілли. Коктейлі та інші напої в барі. Активності. Спа центр (масажі чудові). Відчуття, що про нас по-справжньому подбали.

Для мене було забагато уваги від персоналу. Але я вперше в Індії і можливо просто не знаю їх звичаїв :).

We very much enjoyed our stay. It was very peaceful for relaxing and dining in the seafood restaurant was a delight by the lake as we spotted otters and the staff were very attentive and helpful. The food was also excellent with plentiful breakfast and good strong coffee. We borrowed bikes to cycle through the backwaters and also recommend the canal boat cruise - we saw so many beautiful birds. The complimentary yoga was also a great way to start the morning. We also enjoyed swimming in the meandering pool and our room was enormous with very comfortable bed.

It was all perfect. The WIFI is extra and could be better. Other than steamed vegetables there was a lack of interesting vegetable based dishes.

The setting

Resort did not feel luxurious, quaint maybe but not luxurious. The sunset boat trip something in nothing and could not hear the commentary a simple microphone would have helped.

Rooms were smaller than expected. Would have appreciated a late check out, which didn't happen

Grounds and gardens are really well kept and maintained. Huge, spacious room and bathroom. The hour-long sunset chill boat ride on the lake is a good way to wind down.

For this sort of money in India, you'd expect a more rounded experience. The wifi is atrocious and it would have been deemed unacceptable 15 years ago. If I didn't specify that I wanted a cold beer, it would get a lukewarm beverage, or nothing by the pool as you can be sat there for 2 hours without any of the three staff members hanging around coming over to you to check if you need anything like a towel, the parasol to open or a sour coffee from the machine that had not been properly cleaned inside for months. Even though the room was charming all the light fixtures were bright neon that you would see in a municipal dentist's surgery in the 1980s.

The service is impeccable. Beyond expectations. The resort is serene, spacious but the atmosphere is of a close family. Food is excellent.

There is nothing to like.

Everything is well thought through and so well Maintained. The staff are amazing - so friendly, and so helpful.

Very serene and beautifully maintained. Location and traditional feel adds to the experience. The staff are very professional and extremely attentive to guests requests. Sea food restaurants a must try and the spa is outstanding.

Some issues regarding overcharge on credit card. This was however resolved. Also more attention and ethical procedures regarding charging of card would be appreciated.

The vegeterian menu in the resteraunts is very limited. If you are staying for 3-4 days, you will have to keep ordering same things over and over.

Everything was amazing! The room, the view, the staff, the food, the whole vibe... We got a villa with a private pool, which was the best decision ever. They left fresh fruit and chocolates in our room every day. We celebrated our anniversary, and they even brought us a special cake. On our last day, they gave us little goodbye cakes with a sweet message. You just feel like everyone there wants you to have a great time... I totally recommend it.

This is the best place for relaxing , the weather is wonderful and the staff are so friendly and polite . I like everything as simple as that it’s a perfect resort . The food is so delicious and Johnny the senior manager of restaurant is so friendly and cooperating . Surely I will come back

We stayed for four nights in a Heritage Villa with Private Pool, and it was a wonderful experience. The room was spotless, well maintained, and very comfortable. The food was delicious throughout our stay, and we especially enjoyed the traditional Kerala tea shop, along with unique experiences like the pottery workshop and the small virgin coconut oil factory on the property. The staff were always friendly, cooperative, and attentive, which made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kerala’s backwaters.

The only drawback was the Wi-Fi coverage and speed, which could be improved.

The view of backwater, cleanliness of hotel were the highlights.

Communication problem with the reception, because we asked for an extra bed. After confirming multiple times about the bed. They just provided a mattress. Which is not expected from 5 star resort. Finally they did accept their mistake. And provided a bed.
