Staff are excellent, friendly and attentive. Very clean , lovely rooms, views etc. Excellent breakfast. Lovvely beach promenade that you can walk along to a nice beach further east or for a pleasant 1 hour walk to main Estepona for lovely choice of evening dining. Just 10-13 euros by public taxi to get to the town from hotel. This our 3rd visit and we intend on returning. This is a luxury hotel experience which reflects the higher than average cost but well worth it. Huge rooms and bathrooms - we had junior suite.

Shower head was a little low for my 6ft 3 inch husband. Minor issue.

5 Sterne Hotel und kein Wasser auf dem Zimmer. Kaffee am Frühstück ist eine Plöre! Alles sehr in die Jahre gekommen!!! Die Preise auch an der Bar sind auch nicht dem was man dafür bekommt angemessen!

Was a nice suite till we were thrown out for having sex at 2am when police showed up. The jacuzzi we were in when they came was kind of nice.

Das Frühstück und Abendessen bieten eine gute Auswahl und angenehme Variation. Die Qualität der Speisen ist durchgehend überzeugend. Dennoch fehlt es etwas an der Präsentation – sie schafft es nicht ganz, die eigentlich starke Leistung des Restaurants sichtbar zu machen und Gäste dazu einzuladen, dieses Haus entsprechend hervorragend zu bewerten.

Das Mobiliar und die Einrichtung erinnern an einen Stil aus den 90er‑Jahren – solide, schwer und mit einem leicht britischen Charakter. Dieser traditionelle Ansatz hat durchaus Charme, doch insgesamt wirkt das Ambiente etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Ein Hauch von Frische und Modernität würde dem Raum gut stehen und das Wohlgefühl der Gäste zusätzlich stärken.

The size of the rooms were very spacious.

It was quite far outside of Estapona , a taxi ride was needed into the old town and back out again.

Large room, nice bathroom with shower and jacuzzi bath and a large firm bed. The sea view from the big balcony was also lovely.

There were no bed cloths just a sheet and the beach was very stony.

J’ai aimé l’emplacement, au front de mer, c’était confortable pour quelqu’un qui cherche le calme.

J’ai emmené avec moi un petit chihuahua, ayant effectuer des recherches à l’avance, c’était le seule hôtel qui accepter les animaux. Je me suis dit, autant payer une nuit d’hôtel à 300 euro, au moins je peux emmener mon petit chien. Mais une fois sur place, on m’as facturé 70 euro la nuit pour le chien, et ça je trouve pas honnête. Au lieu d’informer les clients sur booking que vous acceptiez les animaux, dites leurs que c’est facturer et mettant en avant le prix ! Pas l’avertir de ce prix exorbitant à la dernière minute. Petite autre détail, je suis arriver très tôt à l’hôtel , à 6 heures du matin, ayant conduit toute la nuit. Ils m’ont laissé attendre jusqu’à 13 heure pour effectuer mon check in, sans me proposer une alternative et une pièce où je pourrai me reporter, rien de cela. Quand je leurs est dit, si je pouvais prendre le petit déjeuner, on m’as simplement dit que ça ne rentrer pas dans la nuit de la chambre et que je devrait attendre demain matin, une honte. En terme de geste et de bienveillance envers les clients, ils sont encore très loin du professionnalisme.

I didn't dislike it but the beach is not great. Natural landscape do not a problem. Also it's a little further out from estepona than I would have liked but that is my fault for not checking.

Das Zimmer war sehr groß- das Badezimmer war riesig. Die Gartenanlage mit Pool war außergewöhnlich geschmackvoll und gepflegt. Wir haben 2x im a la carte Restaurant sehr gut gegessen- bei toller Aussicht.

Das Frühstück war gut, aber für 5 Sterne fehlte es an veganen Alternativen und frischem Gemüse. Wir hatten das letzte Zimmer im sehr weitläufigen Hotel- werde das Gefühl nicht los, dass man wenn man über booking.com bucht man die nicht ganz so guten Lagen/Zimmer bekommt.

Very disappointing – far below the standard expected from a 5-star hotel I stayed in a suite from 7 to 14 August 2026, paying a large sum of money . Unfortunately, the experience was nowhere near what one would reasonably expect from a 5-star hotel at this price. The problems started upon arrival. The suite floor was dirty, with sand remaining throughout the entire stay. I reported this in writing on the very first day, leaving a note on the table, and mentioned it again in my email to the hotel on 7 August. The floor was never properly cleaned. The water pressure in the upstairs shower was extremely low and, despite being reported on 7 August, was never fixed. The downstairs shower door was also defective and was repaired only after two days. Several light bulbs were never replaced. The desk was never cleaned: dust and a hair present upon arrival were still there when I checked out. Cups, glasses and towels were also handled inconsistently. The breakfast was equally disappointing, with a very limited selection and quality far below what I would expect from a 5-star hotel. I tried it twice to ensure that the first experience was not an isolated incident — unfortunately, it was not. I find it particularly unacceptable that the hotel subsequently suggested that I should have reported every issue during my stay. Several problems were already reported promptly and in writing, yet they remained unresolved. A guest should not have to spend their holiday repeatedly contacting Reception to obtain basic housekeeping and maintenance. For a suite in a 5-star hotel, this level of service is simply unacceptable. Very disappointing and extremely poor value for money. I would not stay here again.

Staff were extremely helpful, the entire hotel was extremely clean and it has a beach so close to the hotel.

The only negative thing about this hotel were the prices. Food and drinks were quite expensive. 5 euros for a small bottle of cola was a bit too much.

Das instalações: excelente em termos estéticos, com áreas grandes, com uma decoração muito apelativa e cuidada. O quarto era excelente, assim como a casa de banho e a limpeza do mesmo.

Un hotel súper cómodo, un personal super atento y con un trato esquisto. El mismo director está diariamente compartiendo con clientes y empleados de una forma única. La comida deliciosa, con productos de muy buena calidad y sin esperas. Las bebidas del todo incluido NADA de grifos, todo de botellas. Repetiremos seguro.

La playa, es un playa muy pequeña y con muchísima piedra. Si no hubiera sido por esto la estancia tendría un 10.

Gardens were well maintained. All staff were very lovely and helpful. The pool was clean.

If you want your holiday to feel like a stressful race to secure a sunbed, this is the hotel for you. Guests lay towels out hours before the pool opens to reserve loungers, only to leave them empty all day. Despite arriving right at opening time, we couldn't get a single sunbed or umbrella, even though the pool area was virtually empty. - Dining: Breakfast was poor quality, featuring stale, unrefreshing fruit. Basic quality was lacking. - Room Quality: The rooms and bathrooms are seriously dated, and the bathroom noticeably lacks a door for privacy. - Wi-Fi: Virtually nonexistent. The connection constantly drops, and when it actually works, speeds peak at a sluggish 1 Mbps.-3 Mbps - Be Aware - the spa is not included in your stay which for us was first.

Too many rules and regulations. Made no sense that pool towels had to be exchanged at the reception which is not even on the same floor as the pool. Other issues such as access to the beach. Adult pool isn’t very nice either. The hotel seems old and tired. Staff were nice.

The manager at the front desk was rude. Also very strict checkout policy. I could not even be 30min late. They charged me for a family room ( 590 sqf) and gave me a standard room (390 sqf). The beach front was the worst beach in costa del sol

€700 for our family room per night but we had to pay extra for fresh drinking water and also extra to use the sauna and steam room. I have never before stayed in a 5 star hotel where drinking water was not free, or sauna/steam room. The hotel is dated, queues for the pool bar can be v slow, not a 5 star in my opinion.

Advértised as a five star spa hotel. It is a family all inclusive! The queues were awful, no table service or pool bed service. The pillows are like rock, we asked for them to be changed twice, they got harder. It was impossible to sleep, we checked out early

للأسف مستوى النظافة كان مو مره. من أول ما وصلنا للغرفة كانت حارة جدًا، وقلنا يمكن تحتاج وقت لين يبرد التكييف، لكن بعد فترة ما تغير شيء وكلمنا الاستقبال. قالوا لنا إن عندهم غرفة واحدة فقط متوفرة، لكنها ما كانت بنفس مواصفات الغرفة اللي حجزناها، ومع ذلك اضطرينا نأخذها بسبب حرارة الغرفة. بصراحة كنت أتوقع مستوى أفضل بكثير من الفندق، خصوصًا من ناحية النظافة والتكييف

El servicio de bufete nos dejó gratamente sorprendidos. La calidad en los alimentos, la variedad fueron inigualables. Al igual que el servicio de bar. Los cócteles espectaculares, en especial el Daiquiri de Maracuyá. Otro de los aspectos que quiero resaltar es el personal del hotel Nico, Leo y Marco nos atendieron en el bar interior, Ana en el Bufete y Victoria en el bar de la piscina Destaco también la atención del Gerente General Juan Manuel, quien siempre estaba atento a los requerimientos de los clientes y supervisando constantemente el funcionamiento de las instalaciones. Tuvimos la oportunidad de visitar también el SPA y recomiendo la experiencia

Nos gustó la ubicación en primera línea de playa, y una habitación, en principio genial, una torre circular con muchas vistas

Esa habitación, la 616, en principio idílica, se convirtió en un infierno. Estuvimos dos noches, tres días, y en ningún momento pasó nadie de la limpieza de habitaciones a hacer las camas o cambiar toallas. Lo reclamamos por tres veces a recepción , a las 15:00, a las 20:15 y a las 1:30. Todo eran palabras educadas y cero limpieza. A las 2 de la mañana me trajeron unas simples toallas. Y me comentaron que el hotel por esa actuación tendría una gentileza con nosotros. A fecha de hoy nadie ha pedido perdón, y por eso de este comentario después de 10 dias de la estancia. Precio de 5 estrellas y limpieza de una pensión. Me da mucha pena hacer este comentario, pero lo que es, es.

Accommodatie is goed, alles ziet er netjes uit en ook het personeel is vriendelijk en professioneel. Goed uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet.

Ik had een mini teckel bij me en de kosten waren 55,- per nacht en dat heb ik nergens zien staan. Wel dat er kosten in rekening zouden worden gebracht, maar niet welk tarief. Op zich kon ik daar mee leven, maar bij het inchecken werd duidelijk gemaakt, dat de honden nergens mogen komen in het hotel. Dus ook niet in de lobby, de gangen of waar dan ook. Alleen op je eigen hotelkamer en dat vond ik erg teleurstellend, zeker als je zegt dat je een hondvriendelijk hotel bent.

Det er litt slitt, det var ikke en sommerdyne og noen kontaktene fungerte ikke. Trimrommet var slitent. Middags- og lunsjutvalget kunne vært bedre. Viften i taket startet midt på natten. Air condition var ikke god på det ene av rommene våre. Det var en del som var utdatert rundt omkring.

El último día al llegar por la noche nos encontramos dos cucarachas en la habitación. Llamamos y vinieron con un insecticida al momento, pero ya se habían colado por las rendijas de unos rodapiés bastante desgastados. En fin, son cosas que no deberían ocurrir en un hotel de 5 estrellas. El resto perfecto, la habitación 606 espectacular!!!

Hotel states it’s five star but I can say it’s far from that. Staff hardly speak English, breakfast very average dried looking pines and flies. Bins in the ladies toilets are all rusty and the knobs on door hanging off. This is no way a 5* hotel peeling old wallpaper in halls dark and dingy. Needs a proper refurb

Old fashioned, not worth to be 5 stars, the service is very poor. Not friendly. The suite we booked was not clean smelled moisture as if it’s closed for very long time. The meals were expensive. Poor room service, I asked for the iron they brought a rusted and old ironing board full of holes. Some area of the hotel smells sewers odor and fish odor everywhere mixed with the ambiance perfume they spread, you can imagine the odor. The staff who welcomed us was not friendly, when we wanted to confirm the view of our suite he said ah you have a room with garden view(highway) however we have booked a suite with sea view, after our objection the stuff changed his position saying it was a mistake and there was another person with same name booking a room. Knowing that it’s not true because my name is a foreign rare name but Even though the suite that has been offered doesn’t have a real sea view was located in the ground floor unlike what was shown in Booking. Lack of honesty ! Also, we are surprised that we have paid the total amount of our stay at the checking, in other countries / facilities we only provide the card as a guarantee but the payment happens during the check out. Y

The hotel, service and staff are brilliant from start to finish. Cannot recommend it highly enough. A special mention to Arvelo, Jucelia, Danny G and Abraham who provided exceptional service during our full stay. This is our third trip here and we will definitely be back!

The property is tired and next to the very busy road .

csodálatos környezetben volt a szálloda. Lenyűgöző volt a növényzet. Szép kilátás volt a lakosztályunkból. Finom, választékos volt a reggeli.

Amikor megmutatták a foglalt lakosztály borzasztó szennyvíz szag fogadott minket, ami elviselhetetlen volt, ezért kértünk másik szobát. Ezt készségesen megtették kaptunk másik lakosztály, de a 2. napon a 4. Emeleti lakosztályában is kezdett érződni a szennyvíz szag. Ezt a folyosón is lehetett érezni 415 számú szobáktól már érződött az elviselhetetlen bűz. Illetve a reggeliző étterem mosdójában lent is ugyanezt a szagot éreztük sajnos!!!!

Nice hotel with very helpful staff. Pool area great with good sun loungers. Only downside was birds in the dining room and were pecking at buffet food which was off putting. Not enough done to deter this happening

Beachfront property, excellent location! Breakfast was good too. I really enjoyed the facilities and the treatments in the spa. The indoor pool was amazing! I stayed in the junior suite with sea view and so had a gorgeous view!

Cleanliness wasn’t up to 5-star standard. This is a dated property with many facilities needing an upgrade. There is a stench, sort of like sewer mixed with mold, in certain places including the rooms. No lifeguards at the beach.

Hotel was nice, a bit dated but clean and rooms were big. Food was pretty good, nice selection of meats cooked fresh to order. We had a great stay until the last afternoon when, mine and two other friends had iPhones stolen. We had left them next to our sun lounger at the pool, under a t shirt. When we went to leave the pool all 3 phones had gone along with the t shirt. Also my friend’s wallet had been swiped as well. The staff at reception seemed quite concerned and asked the manager to come to see us. She seemed very uninterested but said she would check the cctv and she would let us know. Later that night my friend received a letter through the door saying that they seen no ‘suspicious activity’. I asked if I could see the cctv for myself as our benches were near a locked gate to the beech, so I would have thought CCTV would have been on the gate. My request was refused. It wasn’t the fact I thought I’d get my phone back, that was long gone. I had suspicions it was the staff as the pool was so quiet, I wouldn’t want it to happen to anyone else. The managers response was underwhelming to say the least. Anyway a disappointing end to what was a fantastic weekend.

Just come back from a weeks holiday. Rooms are lovely. Very spacious and well equipped. Rooms cleaned daily and very friendly cleaners. Staff in the hotel are super friendly and go out of their way for you. Location is quite remote there are no bars or restaurants in walking distance but a taxi into Estepona old town doesnt cost too much. We were all inclusive and the Breakfast and Buffet were always topped up and nice. The best thing is that all the meat is cooked to order :) The Spanish Al a Carte restaurant is amazing and again the service was spot on. I would recommend going there if you want a lovely, peaceful relaxing holiday with great service.

La comida en general es de mala calidad. Y el precio de cada comida es excesivo para lo que es. Un hotel de 5 estrellas debería tener buena comida o algo menos que se aceptable. Las instalaciones un poco antiguas.

Buffet was expensive and thought not good value for lunch or dinner at €40 per person excluding drinks. Although excellent food and service in A La Carte restaurant.

We hadden veel verzoeken als gezin, het hotel speelde overal uitstekend op in. Vaak voelden wij ons bezwaard om iets te vragen, maar ze waren altijd warm en gastvrij

Er zijn veel schattige musjes aanwezig op het complex, dat vonden onze kinderen heel erg leuk. Wat je dan wel zag is dat ze op de kinderstoelen, eettafels en zonnebedden poepjes laten. Ik denk dat ze hun best deden om het zo schoon mogelijk te houden, maar dat is natuurlijk voor hen niet bij te houden. Dus zeker geen klacht naar het hotel toe, maar wel goed om natte doekjes op zak te hebben als je je eraan stoort

Quite a long way from Estepona town and harbour. No shops, bars or restaurants close to hotel apart from Aldi and Burger king! Taxi around 10 euros to the old town which is lovely, charming, full of character. Plenty of good restaurants, bars and shops, unspoilt by tourism. The hotel itself is quite tired and in need of a complete refurb, no air con in common parts, one of the lifts was out of action for over a week despite informing reception twice! Buffet food average and overpriced, luke warm, basic salads, desserts best part of the meal in our opinion. Noone to advise on wines. Overall, not a 5 star experience unfortunately. Staff friendly and helpful, particularly reception team. Beach area needs attention, sunbeds quite old. Mixture of sand, shingle and stones and no beach bar. Pool area nice, be careful of slippery bridge across pool! Rooms although dated, were large, comfortable with huge bed and bathroom. Had to ask for tea and sugar almost daily and only one bottle of water supplied throughout our two week stay! 5 star hotel should definitely be supplying daily, regardless of basis ie. BB, half board etc. Not much storage space for clothes (referring to drawers/cupboards as opposed to wardrobe space). No line to hang wet clothes/towels on balcony. Undeniable great view from our room. Overall, a bit too far from amenities, food average, pleasant staff, tired looking, needs updating. Beach below par. Sorry but in comparison to other 5 star hotels we've stayed at, unfortunately this doesn't come up to standards.
