Always have a pleasant stay we have been to h10 estepona quite a few times
Everything
Nothing to dislike.
Me sentí humillada
The size of the room
It is rundown the beds were extremely uncomfortable
propreté, situation géographique
Lovely hotel, great facilities and staff really nice
Would have liked the upstairs bar opened in the day, but still a lovely hotel
La playa no me gusto por suciedad
Sul mare
Cibo, in po’ datata.
L architecture de l hôtel La décoration La piscine magnifique Le service à tous les niveaux Promenade devant l hôtel pour ballade vers estepona Exceptionnel
Rien
Very comfortable beds and large rooms. Right by the beach and good food.
I think some areas looked tired. The sunbeds could do with an upgrade to more comfy ones. Heath and safety issue with a step where I fell. Illegal size according to Spains regulations and made a report.
Camera ampia e discreta vista
Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of sun beds and pool towels.
Public walkways eg hallways and lift lobby not hoovered whilst we were there very dirty. Our room was very shabby in places, the balcony walls had crumbling & peeling paintwork. The bathroom door frame was all warped as if there had been a flood in the bathroom, toilet seat had lots of chipped marks. The shower screen had been bodged up with filler (very untidy). Generally dated although the bed linen, towels were spotless and changed daily.
Staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. We travelled with a baby (7 months) and at times needed food blending, the staff were very helpful. Short walk to the marina and a taxi journey to Estepona old town. We felt the junior suite was worth the extra money to have the space when travelling with the baby. Overall we had a lovely stay.
Amazing hotel overall. Ignore any bad reviews as they are definitely not describing the h10 Estepona Palace we stayed at. We couldn’t fault the hotel, it was spotlessly clean throughout all communal areas and our room was kept to the same standards. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and very helpful at all times. Breakfast and evening dinner were both brilliant with lots of delicious options to choose from. My wife is sometimes a fussy eater and I didn’t know what to expect from her first time in Spain with the food, but she also loved it. The pool is well maintained and cleaned every morning before opening. Cocktails at the Terrace bar were so nice and refreshing. My only two issues were: firstly that you couldn’t pay for anything at the poolside bar with Euros (which also sells ice creams and food etc). They will only accept card payment or a charge to the room which is usually paid by card when checking out. Also the rooftop terrace tries to request card payment. We only had Euros to use but luckily the staff at the terrace bar would allow this but you had to walk to reception with them to pay when leaving the bar. And secondly, the amount of people that leave their towels on the sunbeds in the morning, may only be in the pool or on their sunbeds for a short duration of the day. But they will leave them their whilst they go the beach etc. This is completely unfair and not a complaint about the hotel, but maybe a policy could be put in place to prevent this from happening so often. People constantly disappear for lunch and leaving the hotel site, but towels are left for when they return hours and hours later. Then you have people looking for sunbeds and not being able to use them. It’s very inconsiderate behaviour. The hotel held our bags for us when we checked out in the morning as our airport transfer was early evening. However, a short while later we noticed that a souvenir in one of our bags had been broken when we got the bags back from reception. Obviously an accident by the staff, but still an inconvenience for us. Overall, an excellent hotel with everything you need in a great little spot to relax and enjoy the Costa Del Sol. The hotel Sun bed process needs looking into as well as being able to pay with Euros for hotel amenities.
Hotel is situated in a great setting, lovely view of the beach & sea. The reception is impressive & staff friendly. Checkin was quick & easy. The corridors leading to the rooms are dark & the carpets desperately need changing. The room was modern, tastefuly decorated spacious & clean,we had a lovelg sea view room which was great. Bathroom tho is in need of updating,i was quite surprised as the room is modern. We were b&b, breakfast was really good there was lots of variety to choose from. The pool area is great always got a sunbed & the pools were really big lots of room. There is a nice poolside bar were you could chill & have a drink & food, very reasonable prices for drinks especially the cocktails. The hotel is about 30min walk to the centre of Estepona, but there is a bus stop 200 yards from hotel & costs 1 euro 20 each way & takes you to the centre of Estepona. The old town is beautiful with lots of flowers on the houses, lots of restaurants to choose from also . Overall i would definitely stay in the H10 Estepona hotel again
Sunbeds are occupied from 9 o'clock in the morning, and there is no consequence. The staff in the lunch restaurant run around like stessed chickens without a head. They are so tired at work, dont say hello, hey or thank you. You have to wawe for long time, to reach them. Really bad behaviour from the staff. We ordered take away at 9 in the evening, after calling the kitchen 4 times, we got the food 10:45, and there where no excuse from the kitchen. There are hundred of small birds at the outside area by the breakfast. They sit all over your food. It cut easyli be fixed by a net, still have the view from the terasse. If you come early to the breakfast everything is not ready, and you can be sure that the person at the egg station is mad. It can easili take 30 minutes to get a taxi from the hotel, as well as you have to count on waiting more than 40 minutes after the time scheuddle for the bus.
I stayed at this hotel with my family, and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing, particularly considering the high price and the hotel's four-star rating. First impression: From the moment we arrived, the building appeared dated and in need of refurbishment. The main lobby is very large, but it was uncomfortably hot, as the air conditioning appeared to be switched off despite it being the middle of July. We were offered sparkling wine as a welcome drink. As I do not drink alcohol, I asked whether a non-alcoholic alternative was available and was simply directed to drink water. This did not create a particularly welcoming first impression. Rooms: The room was disappointing. The wardrobe was extremely small—realistically suitable for one person. Travelling as a family, we had to leave most of our belongings in our suitcases. I have travelled regularly for many years and have rarely experienced such limited storage space in a hotel room. The TV was small and positioned approximately four metres from the bed. There also appeared to have been previous water leakage through the ceiling and wall, with the affected areas seemingly painted over. During our stay, a maintenance worker also appeared to visit a neighbouring room several times, suggesting ongoing maintenance issues. The bathroom was spacious but dated. The water pressure from the sink tap was extremely poor. The shower was particularly concerning, as the water temperature fluctuated unpredictably between extremely hot and ice cold. At one point, the water became so hot that it almost burned my back. In my opinion, this is a significant safety concern, particularly for elderly guests and children. The air conditioning in the room was also inadequate, making the room uncomfortably hot during the daytime. Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi was extremely slow, to the point that I had to rely on my personal mobile data instead. Food and drinks: Breakfast and dinner were among the biggest disappointments. In my experience, approximately 95% of the food appeared to be processed or reheated, with very limited fresh options. There was a noticeable lack of fresh vegetables and fresh fruit, with much of the fruit appearing to be canned. This was particularly surprising for a hotel in Spain during July. Service and hygiene: Many members of staff appeared overworked and tired. I had particular concerns regarding hygiene in the restaurant and catering areas. We noticed birds and bird droppings around areas where guests were eating, which raised questions about the overall hygiene standards. I also observed staff handling both used and clean plates, which did not give me confidence in the food hygiene practices. Nearby activities: Most nearby activities and places of interest appear to be approximately one hour's walk from the hotel, so the location may not be ideal for guests who want easy access to entertainment and local attractions on foot. Walkability: The hotel felt relatively isolated if you want to explore local cafés and restaurants. In our experience, reaching a good selection of cafés, restaurants and other amenities required approximately one hour of walking. Guests who enjoy having restaurants and cafés within a short walking distance should take this into consideration before booking. Pool, beach and facilities: The hotel building and swimming pool areas generally appeared dated and, in my opinion, not maintained to the standard I would expect from a four-star property. The beach area available to hotel guests also felt limited in terms of space. The sea water was surprisingly cold during our stay, despite outdoor temperatures being around 40°C. Noteworthy details: The main issues that prospective guests should be aware of are the hygiene concerns in the restaurant and catering areas, the very high proportion of processed or reheated food with limited fresh fruit and vegetables, and the unpredictable shower water temperature. The shower could suddenly become extremely hot and, in my experience, almost caused a burn. I believe this is an important safety issue, particularly for families travelling with children and for elderly guests. Overall: Unfortunately, I feel this hotel offers very poor value for the high price charged. Based on our experience, the facilities, rooms, food, hygiene standards and overall condition of the property did not meet the standard I would expect from a four-star hotel. This was our first stay here as a family, and I would not choose to return. I would strongly recommend that prospective guests carefully consider recent reviews and compare other options before booking, particularly if travelling with children or elderly family members.
Hotel clean, no issues with communal areas, pool, room, food or location BUT terrible service from bar staff in the bar near the pool and the cocktail bar, staff were rude and purposely ignoring us, we were a large party but even when 4 of us went for lunch we waited 45 minutes for a drink and asked 3 times, they had been poured but not served. a couple of us complained and whilst they provided an extra waiter in the cocktail bar a couple of nights they are clearly under staffed and some of the staff would benefit from customer service training.
Staying at the H10 Estepona Palace with family and our experience has been so enjoyable, the hotel is clean and spacious with beautiful pools; the hotel is right on the beach and there are lots of activities for children and teenagers; The food is really good quality (we are staying half board) The staff are really efficient but also really friendly and helpful; we were particularly impressed by Diana who works in the restaurant - really kind and very friendly; she was very helpful on the first day when we arrived at the restaurant - This hotel is beautiful and the staff are too
*after reading hotel review, see note at bottom re TUI transfer* On entering this hotel you will see a very large, clean & welcoming lobby/reception area. The reception staff are very friendly & helpful. Hallways to rooms are dark, dated & tired. Rooms themselves are pleasant enough & clean but bathrooms tired & dated and the beds are incredibly uncomfortable. It’s like sleeping on the floor, even with the 2 mattress toppers I requested. I did not get a single good nights sleep on this holiday. Pool area is tired and lots of areas are in need of repair, examples being, bridges over pools are rotting & badly maintained. Stairs up to hotel are in similar state and lots of electrical repairs are needed around the outside of the hotel but covered with signs saying awaiting repair. Sun loungers are super uncomfortable and there aren’t enough parasols. The pools are closed between certain hours and only open 10am-7pm but they close off earlier than 7pm on occasion. They do not allow reservation of sun loungers and a security guard will go around removing your towels if you do, although he’s very sporadic & doesn’t do it with conviction. However I did witness items removed and being put into clear plastic bags. The biggest issue at this hotel is the awful food! Totally lacking in quality & variety and add to this the terrible hygiene with sparrows flying into the restaurant and landing on the buffet & helping themselves!!! Everyday we witnessed this. Perched on the side of the dishes pecking away 🤮 I saw them particularly liking the sweetcorn & the breakfast pancakes. One had a good old peck at the pancakes then flew away. I guarantee that many people have eaten food that has also been pecked at by birds!!! There was also bird poo remnants on window ledges where they hang out. I did make my disgust known to staff & walked the customer service staff member around the restaurant but nothing changed during our stay. We actually chose to eat out at the Marina & Old Town on a number of occasions. I would not recommend staying at this hotel. *we booked with TUI and got a coach transfer. From what I read prior to the holiday we were expecting a 1hr possibly 2hr journey but certainly did not expect almost 4hrs!!! Utterly ridiculous!!! We landed at 9.45, got on the coach at 10.45, didn’t leave the airport until approx 11.15 & arrived at hotel at 1.45!!! I complained to TUI straight away but none of the people on the 24hr chat seemed to appreciate how ridiculous this was. Eventually someone agreed to raise a complaint on my behalf but I’ve not heard a thing. TUI also failed to do anything different to me with regards to the food issues. It appears to be a complete waste of time complaining 😡

We had an absolutely amazing stay and will happily come back again in the future. Great location right next to a nice and quiet beach, the room was great with a huge balcony, food was delicious, the vibe was mega. Staff was super friendly.
Can’t say a bad thing about anything. Everything was perfect.
A spacious hotel right on the beach. We had a Junior suite with sea view, which was kept to a high standard of cleanliness by the staff, We do not go to ‘All inclusive’ hotels usually and was sceptical about the standard of food, but the food was probably the best we have in a hotel. Lots of fresh food with fish and meat cooked to order. Daytime entertainment for children and excellent evening entertainment starting at 9pm. 20 minute walk to the harbour and 10 euro taxi ride to Estapona town, which is filled with flowers. Apart from the esplanade walk by the beach there is nothing else to see in either direction however.
We arrived at H10 Estepona and the staff were so helpful especially Rocio and Lajos. This was a 4 night stay for me and my Sister to relax. The Hotel is stunning our room was large with air con and a lovely ceiling fan. Food and drinks were great. We stayed all inclusive and found it value for money. Pool area was kept very clean. Would definitely return.

This is such a wonderful hotel, this is our second visit and will most definitely be returning again & again, all staff so friendly, reception staff most helpful , they are busy all day and always have a smile and lovely greeting for you nothing to fault with this hotel We stayed in a privilege room on the fourth floor and our room was fabulous , our big bed faced the ocean , what a way to start the day by waking up to see the beautiful med in front of us, Buffet always a wonderful selection of fresh foods, privilege lounge is a delight, love the privilege breakfast at the Thalassa restaurant,, such a lovely relaxing chilled breakfast that was so good every morning & lovely waiting staff will always book privilege again , well worth the extra I think So looking forward to returning, this hotel does not disappoint in any aspect 10 out of 10 from us ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We stayed at the H10 Estepona Palace from 3–15 July on a half‑board basis in a superior room and had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday. The room was spacious, well decorated, with a good‑sized balcony and a pleasant side sea view. What really made our stay, however, was the staff—every one of them was warm, friendly, and genuinely committed to making our visit memorable. Housekeeping kept the room spotless with fresh towels and daily cleaning. Room Clean, comfortable, and nicely furnished. The air‑conditioning worked very well, the room was a generous size, and there were plenty of plug sockets that accept UK plugs without an adaptor. Towels were changed daily and the room was always well maintained. Staff All the staff were lovely and extremely helpful. They consistently went out of their way to ensure guests had an enjoyable stay. Food The restaurant operates buffet style and includes an in‑house bakery producing fresh croissants, Danish pastries and more. Breakfast offers made‑to‑order omelettes or fried eggs, along with cereals, fruit and cold meats. Evening meals had a wide variety of quality dishes, with stations cooking meats (chicken, pork, lamb) and fish to order. Everything was well prepared and the restaurant staff were excellent. Facilities A fresh‑water pool with plenty of sunbeds, plus steps leading down to the beach where more sunbeds are available. The only thing to note is that the sea is surprisingly cold! Travel We took an overnight trip to Gibraltar using the M‑240 bus. The stop is just 100m from the hotel—turn right out of the entrance and it’s in front of the local police station. The fare to La Línnea was €5.86 and the journey took around 90 minutes. From there, it’s a short 200m walk to the border (with customs due to be removed on Friday 17 July).
Overall very good.
They should provide coffee in the rooms. They should install EV chargers on the site
Lovely, spacious room, great view from the balcony. Excellent breakfast. WiFi worked well pretty much everywhere.
The service at the pool bar was not great. Long wait, the bracelet used to pay, often did not work.
Breakfast , pool , loungers , cleaning , chocolates , staff , reception
Nothing
The staff were all lovely
It is well overdue a refurb. The whole hotels needs updating. The floor surrounding the pool was filthy and despite pointing it out nothing was done. Lunch was very nice but a struggle to get served as they only had 1 person taking orders. Pleased I wasn’t all inclusive as breakfast was mediocre at best. Beach was a bit pebbly. The nearest shop/restaurant/bar is a good 20 min walk along promenade to the marina or a taxi into old town.

Wir würden dieses Hotel höher bewerten wenn es nicht das Problem der Liegen am Strand und Pool gäbe! Man muss früh aufstehen um eine der spärlichen Liegen am Strand zu ergattern!! Nur 19 Schirme! Am Pool ab Mittag keine Liegen mehr frei ausser schlechter Lage, ohne Schiem oder Schatten und einer dicht neben den anderen. Und das im Juni! Wo liegt man in der Hauptsaison?? Also Ausschlafen geht nicht leider ...;

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The location was great - a short walk to beach clubs or a five minute drive into Estepona city.
Space of rooms pools sunbeds, staff fantastic
Gym needs upgrading very small for size and quality of hotel
We visited this hotel for the first time. The staff were lovely and so friendly. All rooms were spotless and a good selection of food on offer. The hotel is approximately 1.5 miles from Estepona Old Town which is well worth a visit. In fact we walked there every day except one.
Staff where 100% available and friendly, room was so open and fresh never felt to hot or to cold,
Pleasantly surprised at this large hotel based on some of the reviews - an older building kept spotlessly clean - our room was immaculate and a mini suite with views over the sea and nespresso machine and complimentary water and chocolates every day . The pool area is extensive and there were no lounger wars- plenty room for all with lots of choice of either sea facing of pool facing seating. For us location was perfect - 20 min walk to marina for a number of restaurant , and a further 20 min to the old town - there is also an efficient bus service and or bolt and taxis. All the staff were friendly and helpful. And the cocktails were …. Memorable! ( we came with Jet 2 and their representative Eve was great and very knowledgeable)
Really lovely hotel, stayed here for my minimoon trip and it was exactly what we needed. Very chilled out, nice walk along the water (15/20mins) into the marina area. We stayed bed & breakfast board, breakfast was great. Really large selection of different fresh food
Excellent beachfront hotel. Plenty of variety in the ALBORAN buffet restaurant. Cool vibes at Chill Out Bar with very tasty tapas and nice mojitos. Very attentive staff throughout the hotel especially waiter Antonio at THALASSA Restaurant. Thank you to the Reception team for our room upgrade with stunning sea views.
We recently returned from a thoroughly enjoyable holiday at the Estepona Palace with Jet2. We stayed all inclusive in one of the privilege rooms, which is our usual holiday option. We didnt feel that the hotel is more of. Good 4* than luxe due to stains on the carpet's in the room corridors, some of the room furniture needing to be updated and a couple of the privilege extras not quite in line with those at other hotels we have stayed at. However, none of this spoilt our holiday and we would definitely recommend and stay at the Estepona Palace again. All the staff we came across were very friendly and helpful. The hotel, dining area and in particular our room were all very clean, and we appreciated the complimentary bottles of water and chocolates each day, along with a sunbed and parasol on our balcony. The view from our balcony across the sea to Gibraltar was an added plus for us as was the quiet location of the hotel and the walk via the marina into Estepona. The reason for rating our hotel experience 5 stars is due to the hotel fully catered for my food allergies, which at other hotels hasn’t always happened, resulting in meal times becoming stressful. I emailed my difficulties in advance and this was discussed with me when we booked in. The first evening a chef and a member of the waiting staff spoke to me about my allergies, resulting in there being choices for me at every meal. For the sweet course in the evening a special dish was made and bought to my table as soon as I was ready, often without having to ask. Thank you for helping us to have a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday.
Very quiet location, a good thing in our opinion. We had a Junior Suite, (for a special birthday), which was spacious, clean and comfortable enjoying sea views towards Gibraltar. We had complimentary chocolates and bottles of water every day and a bottle of bubbly and even more chocs on the special day. We enjoyed quiet beachfront walks left and right of the hotel, a regular bus service to Estepona is just outside the hotel. We felt the private beach could have been more utilized, providing loungers and umbrellas. The reception staff were helpful, friendly and extremely knowledgeable in particular Diego (many thanks). The hotel grounds were nothing short of spectacular in the evenings. A good variety of food,

Jet2 have this listed as a luxe hotel well we have just arrived home on the 10th and no way is it. Started of ok great reception area nice greeting and easy check in. Then things change in hoovered corridor's carpets dirty and bleach stained, rooms ok but tired . First evening meal we paid for drinks with card . The reception staff were pushing to use the wallet on the wrist band so we loaded 100 euros. The next night we went to pay with the wallet and the waitress said perfecto she then came back and shouted across 2 tables , you have no credit people were looking so we explained we had 100 euros so she scanned again and said ok . We went to the counter to fetch food, next thing she has followed us and once again through other customers shouted you have no credit,it was so rude and embarrassing she dashed off to a manager they were both pointing at us . The manager came and ok you have credit the staff don't understand this new system we only started it yesterday. During the course of our stay we heard and saw others having the same problem and each time the manager explaining we only started this today. We complained to the hotel manager who just said that system has been running for two years, no apologies. The location is good although isolated. The pool area is ok strange the main pool doesn't open until 11 am and shuts at 5pm . The pool area is not cleaned very well and the sun beds are grubby. No way would we use this hotel again. Also most of the staff are unfriendly and grumpy.

The Estepona Palace is a gorgeous hotel. Stayed here early June 2026. Just a few points to mention 1. The superior room 565 which we had was what we would have called a good standard room. 2. The shower in the bath was okay but quite dangerous getting in & out. 3. The tag they put on your wrist on arrival is not acceptable. We were bed & breakfast and actually asked for this to be removed on day one (we couldn't remove it ourselves, staff had to cut the band) 4. Hotel is quite far out. The local bus runs every 20 mins so we used this in the evenings to eat out at the port. All in all a really lovely hotel (buffet breakfast was first class with an amazing selection). Just a few things that need to be addressed in my opinion.
Just returned home after a relaxing 10 days at the hotel. As soon as i entered the building I was impressed by the spacioue foyer and plenty of seating. Saw cleaning staff frequently during our stay. Room was good with sea view. It was cleaned daily. 2 pools were excellent as were the surrounding gardens. Usually no difficulty in getting sunbeds. Tito and Luis of the animation team worked hard to provide aqua aerobics, archery, boules, yoga, spanish lessons ete to those guests who wished to participate. Plenty of food choices in buffet style restaurant. Hard working restaurant staff but occasional delays in clearing tables from previos diners. Disappointing that 3 showers near the pool were not working but several others were. Half hourly bus service E 1 into town about a mile away or 30 minutes walk along promenade. Over all a very good hotel . I will return and recommend it to you.
Rooms were cleaned every day and reception kept very tidy and check-in was easy. Pool area was nice however think the pool staff should do more to keep the area tidy in the day . Unfortunately this hotel does nothing to prevent beds round the pool been reserved with the towels been put out before breakfast and a lot of the beds not being used till later in the day. Stayed with H10 hotel in Benidorm they removed towels if left out . As for the cleanliness around the rest of hotel carpet looked terrible in the corridors with stains all over plus always looked dirty as the colour shows all the bits however staff did clean them. Restaurant and bars kept clean apart from when they were under staffed and could not clear items from the tables quite enough. Used the spa it was lovely managed to chill out . Didn’t use the gym but looked nice and quiet. Negative points Construction work going on just down the road from the hotel and could be heard round the pool area. Have informed TUI of this . Didn’t let that stop us relaxing and never did the work start early morning. Warning we had on two separate occasions charges to our room adding over a hundred euros . Reported this and was told they would look into this as the charges were all of what appeared to be a lot of drinks for just the two of us plus food was on the bill olives and hummus which neither my husband or I eat. Mistakes happen but I have had emails ignored and no one has been untouched as promised. We feel very silly for not checking and trusting the hotel. Travel abroad regularly and never had issues before. Had a nice holiday but feel let down by H10 for ignoring the issue raised. Would have stayed again next year or at another H10 hotel as the one in Benidorm is lovely however will avoid all H10 hotels now.
My wife and I booked this hotel through Tui and opted for a Privilege room because it had a full sea view. Our Privilege room lived up to our expectations with modern facilities and wonderful views extending over to Gibraltar and North Africa. However the Privilege title came with much more, including a special lounge with free refreshments, a private sundeck again with refreshments and the option to have breakfast in the a la Carte restaurant. You also have your own Privilege check in desk where we were greeted by Diana who was extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We can't agree with some comments that the hotel is in need of refurbishment as we found it quite impressive, clean and as it's name implies "palacial". The pool and garden area is kept clean and well tended and there are floral displays throughout. If there was one negative it was with the food at dinner which was not the best that we have experienced. Saying that, there was adequate choice and a good freshly cooked meat and fish area. In summary you won't starve! As previously stated we were able to opt for breakfast in the a la Carte restaurant (Thalassa) which was a lovely setting. However this closed at 7pm and it would have have made a really good alternative for later dining. At previous hotels we have stayed at we have been given the opportunity to dine at least once during our stay in an a la Carte restaurant and we think this a missed opportunity by the hotel. Therefore our dining experience is the reason we have given 4 and not 5 stars. Overall however, an extremely enjoyable holiday.
Facilities and location were good.
Couldn't pay with cash or cards during stay so had to charge to room. Staff promised to keep account open on last day. They didn't, instead just charged card assuming we'd left (even though our cases were in their lock up). On arriving home noticed they'd charged the card twice. On bringing this to their attention they asked for a copy of our bank statement as proof ( even though they had card details). They eventually paid the money back, without any apology. The food in the poolside cafe was very poor.
Writing this on out final day. We stayed in room 567, a spacious room with big balcony and a gorgeous view. The staff were friendly & our room was provided daily with bottles of water and chocolates. Food was lovely, we never had a bad meal. I particularly liked the chicken breast served at dinner & the soya bread served at breakfast was always tasty. I really liked the added touch of getting to watch the chefs prepare some of the food. I also loved the non alcoholic Strawberry Colada that was served in the lobby bar. Overall, we had an amazing experience, and I'm personally sad to be leaving!
We’d booked here as we were attending a wedding nearby. It wasn’t a hotel or location we would have chosen otherwise. I was hoping to be pleasantly surprised but sadly that wasn’t the case. The lady checking us in was lovely. But apart from her the rest of the staff were not very welcoming or friendly at all. Service really wasn’t great. Food was awful. Probably the worst I’ve had in over 15 years! It was edible but not the best. Not very fresh, cheap, lots of tinned items, veg/ fruit etc. no fresh coffee in a morning. Had to use machines. Birds flying in & sitting on food. The kids struggled as even the plain spaghetti had been sat under lamps so long it was hard & crispy, no pizzas etc. kids veggies were either from a tin, or covered in batter! Not healthy! You can’t order or take food round the pool from the snack bar. Had toasties, fries & chicken wings there one day & was awful. Main pool is only open 11-5! Which I find really bizarre. We were there May half term, hotel was busy, no empty loungers, baking hot sun & you can’t dip in the pool to cool off unless you walk round to the smaller pool that opens at 10. They put barriers/ gates round every evening so you can’t go in. We asked the lifeguard at 5.10 one day why she was putting barriers up & her reply was ‘this pool shuts at 6pm!’ It doesn’t take 50mins to put a fence up! It takes about 10mins. I think they just do it early so they can leave as soon as they finish. Wouldn’t have booked here if we knew the pool had such short opening times. Room, we booked an ocean junior suite (the most expensive room) and although the room itself was good. Recently refurbished, the balcony & sea view was not what we were expecting. The balcony was in the dark all day due to design of the hotel. It got no sun at all & the sea view was a snippet of the sea in the distance.. not what you’d expect for a premium room at all. (See pics) the standard rooms looked to have a much better view! The shower was the worst. It would constantly turn boiling hot or freezing cold & not hold a steady temperature. Hairdryer is useless. One of the on the wall ones that’s barely any power,so ladies take note. On our 2nd to last day we arrived back at our room & wondered what had gone on. The carpet outside was filthy, covered in bits of plaster, dust & water. Someone had been doing some work & left an awful mess. The next day as we were leaving it was still there! But now walked and trodden in making it even worse! Maids must have walked past multiple times & not bothered to hoover or clean it up! We usually holiday in Greece or Portugal where the locals & staff are super friendly, cheery, wish you good morning/ evening, go out of thier was to ensure you have a nice holiday. I won’t be returning to this hotel, or the Costa del sol.
Found glass in a food when having a pizza at the pool bar I bit into it , relised it was sharp a peice green glass was inside it , costumer service came asked if we would like more food naturally we declined. We asked to see the manager she looked embarrassed and said he probably won’t see you I said ok I contact head office this should be an incident for your business there’s lots of children eating these pizza she just said I know . The place is tired the staff are sadly flogged to death it’s quite upsetting to see , we were taking our glasses back to the bar to help and our plates to the middle station I spoke to a lot of staff they said the new manager has cut the work force over half in the last year but they need the job , it’s clearly compromising the staffs well being and the standard of the hotel , food was cold and same each night , your out of it in location no bars near by a 20 mins walk to the nearest one . Pillows like bags cotton wool towels shabby grey we def won’t be back they have amazing air b& b near by far superior good luck
The Room was not what I asked Booking.com to book. But we decided to stay. Breakfast was OK.
Evening meals were not up to previous standards.
The reception staff and restaurant staff were very polite. Pool area very clean. Rooms clean and spacious
More continental breakfast choice Choice of different teas should be available and teapots at breakfast. We found the beds a bit hard Carpets in the corridors to bedrooms need hoovering more and were quite stained.
Absolutely wonderful holiday with my family especially 89 year old mother. The Hotel staff are so kind always smiling & helpful. Very hard working. The Hotel layout was very good with reception area & bars on the floor leading from the entrance & pool & restaurants on the lower floor. There are 5 lifts. The pool itself is amazing it really is stunning. 1 adult pool 1 for youngsters & great for water activities. Also a toddler pool. Plenty of sunbeds towels etc. All supervised by pool staff. There’s also a snack restaurant by the pool & the food is very good. Water filters in various locations which is ideal to fill your water containers. There’s archery darts & lots of activities for the kids. Tito the activity coordinator is amazing with organising the fun & activities. The beach is a mix of shale & sand which isn’t very pleasant but that’s the nature of this cove. But 5 minutes walk is the Blue Flag Cristo Beach which is stunning. I just wish who ever maintains the beach would sort out H10 beach because it would be perfect for the Hotel. Food is amazing fantastic choice quality is first class & we usually holiday on Royal Caribbean cruise for the last 7 years & this chef is first class. The room & walk in shower was great. Room service & cleaner was absolutely perfect. I have written lots of reviews for places that deserve my time. H10 Estepona Palace is one hotel I will definitely recommend & re-visit, also try H10 group in other locations. Thankyou to all the staff who made the Mason Holiday Perfect.
I feel so strongly about he H10 estepona Palace, that needed to write a review We are still on holiday here till 4th June in room 263. We love our holidays and save up to come away. On our arrival we could see the Hotel needed a full revamp regarding the flooring in the indoor eating area, it looks so poor. The food isnt up to standard either. Also over the next day or so we could see there wasnt enough staff to give you the welcome and service you would expect. Almost one hour to order food in the pool bar Monday 2nd June. To top it all we had an item gone missing from the room. On contacting reception, they didnt really want to know, asked head of house keeping to contact us, still waiting for an answer on that, which shows there isnt enough staff to run the hotel as it should be run. I dont like leaving poor reviews but im sure if the staff here were to read this review, they would understand why i left it. Would not return, im so sorry.
It was a perfect stay for my birthday food was brilliant drinks were a good price, entertainment on every night. Close to the marina and a short taxi Close to the centre. My birthday the hotel left a large bottle of carva and a box of chocolates for me. Can't wait to go back.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at H10 Estepona was so disappointing that I feel compelled to warn other travellers. From the moment we arrived, the staff were consistently rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. Basic requests seemed to be treated as inconveniences, and any attempt to raise concerns was met with indifference rather than professionalism. Customer service appears to be an afterthought at this hotel. To make matters worse, we found a letter in our room stating that we had access to the Privilege service, only for that access to be revoked later without any clear explanation, which was both confusing and frustrating. The food was equally disappointing. The selection was repetitive, uninspired, and often of poor quality. Meals lacked variety, and many dishes appeared to have been sitting out for far too long. For a hotel that claims to offer a premium experience, the dining options were simply unacceptable. Cleanliness was another major issue. The carpets throughout the hotel were visibly stained, dirty, and in desperate need of replacement. Walking through the corridors felt more like staying in a neglected budget motel than a supposedly high-end resort. The overall standards of housekeeping were far below what any guest should reasonably expect. What made matters worse was the generally poor service across the hotel. Staff seemed uninterested in helping guests, communication was poor, and there was a complete lack of attention to detail. At one point, staff were openly discussing us in Spanish while we were nearby, which felt highly unprofessional and disrespectful. Instead of enjoying a relaxing holiday, we spent much of our stay frustrated and disappointed. There are far better hotels in the area offering superior service, cleaner facilities, and much better value for money. I would not return to H10 Estepona and cannot recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant holiday experience. Save your money and book elsewhere.
Ótimo custo benefício,!
Comidas.
H10.Estepona Palace stay may5 11 nights The outside of this building sells this holiday but we are afraid that is all!!we stayed in room 267.it was adequate.bit dull and in shade for most of day. Hotel itself clean but not very atmospheric and clinical .could be made to feel more welcoming. Security....in every hotel we have stayed in to access the hotel grounds there is a fob system by which a card or wristband is used not here the back gate is wedged open all day until 10pm.it is then locked but anyone can gain access to the property at any time by a wooden staircase either side of the door....just a gap in hedge!!!And a notice on the gate tells you this!there are security guards walking around we saw 2 but if anyone entered armed wouldn't stand chance!. Sun beds...dirty actually some filthy we were told they were washed down in mornings but that doesn't touch them they need jet washing....maybe? Reception staff....ok...Christine guest liaison person is unprofessional sarcastic shall explain end of review! Restaurant....We have stayed in hotels where there have been birds outside whilst eating on a terrace. But these come inside Restaurant and peck at some of the food .On our first morning a bird flew on to pancake someone later consumed it. we had to shoo them off on several occasions!.I did address this to Restaurant manager who told me nothing could be done and shrugged shoulders! Food.....poor quality not consistent not varied. cold plates...could go on needs a manager to stand in Restaurant and look at people's faces...they look unimpressed!.breakfast poor. pastries not varied .fruit juices weak and separated .tables not set up properly .very lucky to find tea spoon. had to take cups etc from other tables....not consistent.seemed to be short staffed at many times.Couldnt get cocktails in day served after 5 main bar or Mediterranean bar 6.30.bar and resteurant by pool are good priced for drinks beer wine.No coffee in rooms cheap weak tea bags.asked at reception for coffee was told used to have but not anymore....again shrugged shoulders and said sorry could arrange express machine for 10 euros a day!. We expressed our views to our lovely jet 2 rep....jet 2 amazing during stay and she passed us on to Christine.....hotels guest liaison.had a note under our door from her pop in to discuss!.Christine came over as sarcastic saying she wished she could talk to the birds!.basically laughed at us when we brought up security and told us there is no problem with crime in Spain!...not what we are led to believe! apparently she walks around often to look at sun beds!.this was an important holiday for us as one of us is undergoing cancer treatment. very disappointing.will not return. Spoke to several couples who said the same!
Breakfast was always an excellent experience.
Just returned from this wonderful hotel and already booked to go back next year. The hotel is spotless, the staff are extremely hard working, the food was tasty and our superior twin room we could not fault. Please ignore any negative reviews can't quite believe them to be honest! Looking forward to 2027

We had a really good stay with my family and kids. Staff were wonderful. Lots of activities. Clean, nice hotel and great food
Very pretty place ☺️
Even though we were full board and paid for the privilege, we didn't get the indoor pool area free unless we stayed for 3 days. I thought that was a bit tight considering the price we paid. Shame. The rooms are small, but they're nice.
The staff were so helpful and friendly, also the hotel was beautiful, bright and airy
Nothing
Staff and facilities were great. All staff very friendly and helpful.
Nada
Excellent service and exceptionally friendly staff. Lovely looking hotel and well designed pool area. No problems with sun beds but it is only May.
It’s a 15-20 walk to the marina but i actually enjoyed the views.
Perfect location in a quiet corner of Estepona, very spacious rooms with balconies and nice view. The staff was extremely kind and helpful.
The pool bar could stay open a bit longer than 7PM and the breakfast was quite crowded. Maybe longer opening times could be a solution.
was allemaal goed
