Honestly VERY impressed by this hotel. We weren't expecting much considering how affordable it was. The hotel is right next to the beach on the main plaza area. Lots of cute shops and right next to some boat tour tickets which I HIGHLY recommend visitors to do. Breakfast was great and the beds were huge and comfy!! For the price and location, an AMAZING hotel in a BEAUTIFUL town!!

No cons in particular. Just minor things like outlets not being conveniently placed or the safe box being broken.

Fantastic location! Best location for the beach and for Carvoeiro village, everything is in walking distance… also the breakfast is really good and when we stayed every morning the croissants were fresh and warm out of the oven…

I’ve stayed many times over 25 years and the only downside that can never change unfortunately is their pool! Because it’s small and is in a courtyard with surrounding walls! But your across the road from the beach and that’s amazing to have it just because hotel!!! We love the beach so pool isn’t a consideration!

The location was unbeatable It is right at the heart of the little village as well as a few steps to a beach cove.

Their policy of me trying to cancel one night two days in advance, yet keeping the next two nights as my plans from the states changed. They would not budge. I had two rooms booked and gave them this business and could have stayed anywhere else. I was only asking for a credit back on one room for the first night. As a result, the room sat until we arrived the next afternoon. Did not care that the swimming pool was shaded by the surrounding buildings.

Die Lage ist toll und der Pool, das sind aber auch schon die einzigen positiven Aspekte.

Die Einrichtung ist sehr veraltet, spartanisch und beengt, das Zimmer hatte Null Charme, der Schrank in der Wand hatte keine Türen. Die Polster extrem unbequem. Das Bad extrem verwinkelt, Zugang zur Dusch-Badewanne umständlich und gefährlich, scharfe Kanten, ein hoher Rand. Das schlimmste war aber die schlechte Dichtung der Balkontüren. Trotz Oropax haben wir die ganze Nacht den Lärm der Straße und Lokale gehört. In der Dichtung haben wir dann sogar einen Spalt bemerkt, der wurde zwar von einem Mitarbeiter notdürftig repariert und uns wurde ein anderes Zimmer in den ruhigeren Innenhof angeboten, aber uns hat es einfach gereicht, so viel Geld für so wenig Komfort auszugeben, sind 4 Tage früher abgereist. Der Balkon war winzig und es gab einfach keine Haken, keine Aufhängmöglichkeiten für nasse Handtücher oder Badesachen. Es ist ein Strandhotel?! Im feuchten Bad gab es ein paar Stangen, aber unsere Handtücher wurden nie trocken. Vielleicht ist das Hotel ok für eine Nacht wenn man den ganzen Tag am Meer verbringt und sich dann 10 Cocktails gönnt, für uns war es leider eine herbe Enttäuschung.

Tolle Lage und gutes Frühstück

Personal teilweise unfreundlich, Badezimmer war beim Bezug nicht gereinigt( Haare und Zahnpaste vom Vorgänger im Waschbecken) abends und nachts sehr laut.

A zona é muito turística e há pouco estacionamento local gratuito.

It is a really great hotel in an amazing location. We had a sea view room on the second floor and the view was magnificent. You are practically on the beach and in the heart of this nice town at the same time - on the main square surrounded by bars, cafes, little shops and with the view on the concert scene. You have music and bustling crowds until late every evening but it was exactly what we wanted. If you are looking for calm and silence - it is not a place for you. All staff are nice and friendly- at the reception, at breakfast and even the cleaning ladies. I definitely recommend one restaurant- A Fonte- which is just one minute from the hotel. They are local family restaurant with excellent food and good prices.

El Hotel en cuanto a servicios está muy bien, pero es bastante desagradable que en nuestra habitación hubiera cucarachas pequeñas, que con el asco que nos dan ni descansamos bien pensando en ellas. El ultimo día se lo comuniqué a la recepcionista y me comentó que habían fumigado con antelación.

Location was perfect. We had booked a boat tour for the Bengali Cave. It was right there across the street. The breakfast was phenomenal. There were lots of choices to pick from and the food was delicious. The beach was right across the street. Great Location.

El desayuno estaba muy completo, buffet con bollería ,tortitas,embutido fruta, bacon,huevos. El café suave y zumo natural y de máquina. Quería dejar especial mención al recepcionista que está de mañana y al señor que atiende los desayunos, muy majos y simpáticos. Gracias

La verdad que ha estado todo bien. Quizás mejor vista pero sabía que la habitación que había cogido daba a la piscina y no tenía balcón ,por lo tanto no me llevé ninguna sorpresa.

Only 15 parking spaces and 50 hotel rooms. Unfortunately could not park our rental car there.

L’emplacement est idéal, un séjour exceptionnel, l’hôtel bénéfice d’une excellente literie avec chambre climatisée . C’est très propre, Nous avons adoré la piscine , très grande , peu fréquentée . Le petit déjeuner est très correct. Point négatif le parking que nous n’avons pas pu réserver et qui est payant. Un peu galère pour se garer mais on y arrivait toujours.

De locatie van dit hotel is geweldig. We boften met de kamer met zeezicht en wel 2 balkons. Het bed slaapt fijn. Restaurants uiteraard op nog minder dan een steenworp afstand. Aanraders: Tapas da vila en Lanterna velha. De rooftopbar was ook erg gezellig. Vooral de gastvrijheid van Paolo.

Niet echt iets. Tip: de ruimte om het zwembad heen gezelliger decoreren met planten. Ook planten op de balkons maken het knusser en luxer.

Hotellet ligger fantastiskt, frukosten är utmärkt och personalen mycket hjälpsam och trevlig. Rekommenderas starkt!

Очень удобное расположение отеля. Пляж буквально в 10 шагах, рядом куча ресторанчиков, баров, аптека, всё в пределах 2-5 минут пешком. Персонал максимально оперативно реагирует на все вопросы. Удобно, что можно забронировать трансфер из аэропорта и до него прямо в гостинице по абсолютно вменяемой стоимости, не дороже такси. Отель очень аккуратный и чистый, уборка ежедневно, и это действительно уборка, а не просто шваброй помахать. Мы брали завтраки, они тоже отличные, всего хватало, много фруктов. Однозначно рекомендую это место парам и для семейного отдыха.

We enjoyed the convience of this location. Right in the middle of everything with the on site parking. Roadtripping along the Algarve this was a big perk. Room was clean with a nice view of the beach and the pool. Plus very good restaurants Right out side the lobby!

Cuando bajamos al desayuno todo parecía perfecto , hasta que me eché zumo natural de una jarra y estaba lleno de gusanos , probé con el de máquina y me salieron bichitos también , por la falta de limpieza en las máquinas .Se lo comentamos al personal y como si nada solo quitaron la jarra de zumo y la volvieron a sacar y la máquina ni poner un papel de averiada o algo .Parece ser q no fui la única en beber con gusanillo ese día

Had a ground floor room that some people have complained in revues about noise. But apart from one noisy lorry and one scooter it was fine. Being close to the beach and breakfast with no lifts or stair.

Very nice 3-night stay at HCP. We splurged for the sea-view room with balcony, which could be argued for or against the extra cost. The balcony was very small with two rickety chairs, and we never actually sat on the balcony. But indeed, it was nice to walk out at night and morning and see the beach and village activities. Location is a little challenging, if arriving by car. We were expecting on-site parking as indicated on the booking site, but their small lot was full. We were told to check back the next day, and given verbal directions where to look for spots (no map). We ended up finding free parking on the street each night, but driving around the little town is not for everyone. Location for dining, drinking, beach-going, water-sports, sunset viewing is ideal. The village is very vibrant with a fun party-vibe but not too crazy with lots of families around too. Breakfast was excellent and dining area spacious and relaxing. There was also an outside courtyard with seating, but smoking was allowed and some guests were putting their ashes on the ground! Overall, great stay in lively beach town. Do not miss the high-quality gelato shop attached to the hotel lobby.

Existe um bar com explanada mesmo em frente ao Hotel, onde a música toca até às 2h da manhã. Impossível dormir. A construção do Hotel é muito antiga, o que leva a que o isolamento acústico seja péssimo. Houve-se tudo o que se passa na rua.

La ubicación privilegiada. La habitación tenía una terraza con reposeras ideal para terminar el día y relajarse antes de ir a dormir. Su estilo portugués y el patio del desayuno me encantó. El desayuno súper completo. Llegué temprano y me dieron una habitación antes del horario del check in. Su personal muy amables. Recomendable 100%

Oferta podczas śniadań była szeroka i każdy znalazł "coś" dla siebie. Wszystko świeże i smaczne. Pyszna kawa, owoce, sery i sok pomarańczowy. Automat do robienia naleśników! Hotel wykończony w tradycyjnym, portugalskim klimacie, co dodaje dużo uroku pobytowi. Lokalizacja przy samym rynku, więc wszędzie blisko. Jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni.

Rozkładana kanapa, jak to to często bywa z rozkładanymi kanapami, nie była najwygodniejszym łóżkiem na świecie, ale poza tym apartament dobrze wyposażony.

We had to take the car out of the car park on the last day, even if we’d paid for another day, we couldn’t have left it there.

Spacious room, soft towels, excellent breakfast, steps from beach and dining. Balcony is small but worth the upgrade.

“Parking available on-site” is a bit misleading, as the lot fills up. No facial tissues in bathroom.

Hotel was in a perfect location......right in the centre and a stones throw to the beach. Good breakfast.

Hotel is looking tired and could benefit from an.update. Room was very small for 2 adults and 2 luggage.

La habitación oscura, malas almohadas , estaba en primer piso y daba a una calle lateral muy ruidosa.

Location not suitable without a car as it’s in a remote spot. Need to get taxis everywhere if car not available. The hotel has lovely, clean and open public spaces but the rooms are not 5 star. Dark lighting even in bathroom and very basic. Breakfast is amazing. The best thing about the whole experience. Evening meals are lovely but menu needs changing a couple of times during the week. The cleanliness is mixed - certainly passable but have had so much better. Staff are also mixed ranging from being very friendly to being disinterested and rather non communicative. We wouldn’t return as it doesn’t suit our personal circumstances but clearly there are many that would.
