Edgar was incredibly talented and very entertaining, it was a great performance to watch and he was so funny and witty. The food was delicious !
A heartfelt thank you to the entire team at Blu Restaurant—all the servers, managers, and talented cooks—for their warm hospitality, professionalism, and dedication to making every guest feel special. And to the entire TAKLIMI Sushi team, including Manager Joe Acosta, Carlos, and all the sushi staff—thank you for your exceptional service and attention to detail. From the kitchen to the dining room, everyone goes above and beyond. Outstanding food, exceptional service, and genuine hospitality! ✨🍣
Ricardo was an excellent show!!
We really enjoyed cooking with Chef Ricardo! It was such a wonderful experience, and the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend it! 👨🍳❤️
Absolutely gorgeous property in a stunning beachfront setting. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the resort’s elegant and charming décor. The lobby was particularly beautiful, with fresh, colorful floral arrangements that added a luxurious and welcoming touch each day. Our room was incredibly spacious and grand. We had booked a two-bedroom Infinite Oceanfront Master Suite and were pleasantly surprised to receive connecting rooms. This setup is ideal for larger families traveling together, as it provides both space and privacy while still keeping everyone conveniently connected. We chose the Infinite category, which comes at an additional cost, but in our opinion, the added benefits made it well worth it. There are numerous perks included with the Infinite experience, all of which are detailed on the resort’s website. On our first day, our dedicated Infinite concierge took the time to personally explain all of the benefits and amenities available to us. Our concierge, Abigail, was exceptional—warm, professional, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. She made everything effortless and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The Infinite perks added a truly special dimension to our vacation. We enjoyed hydrotherapy at the resort’s spectacular spa, jet ski sessions, special beachside dining, and several other experiences. These thoughtful extras made our stay feel much more personalized and elevated than a typical all-inclusive resort experience. We were also celebrating a special occasion with our family, and the dinner at the beach was one of the highlights of our trip. Our servers, Enrique, Oscar, and Giovanni, were wonderful and helped make the evening genuinely memorable. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail made our celebration even more special. Throughout the resort, the service was consistently excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and seemed genuinely happy to assist guests. The heated pools were another wonderful feature, especially in the evenings, and the private beach area was beautifully maintained. One thing that particularly stood out was the cleanliness of the beach. I’m including a photo of the beach adjacent to the property, which had a significant amount of sargassum during our visit. In contrast, the beach directly in front of Grand Fiesta was kept remarkably clean and spotless by the resort staff, and we did not see any noticeable sargassum on the resort’s beach during our stay. The private Infinite beach area was especially nice, as we never felt the need to rush out early to secure beach chairs. The dining experience was also very enjoyable. The food was consistently tasty across the restaurants we visited, and making dinner reservations was incredibly convenient thanks to Abigail and the Infinite concierge service. For families, there is plenty to keep everyone entertained. The game room was always lively, with both children and adults enjoying the space, and the resort offers an impressive variety of amenities and activities. Overall, Grand Fiesta was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The combination of the beautiful beachfront setting, elegant surroundings, spacious accommodations, excellent service, exceptional Infinite benefits, and family-friendly amenities made our stay truly memorable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would happily return in the future. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone looking for a beautiful beachfront resort with outstanding service and a little extra luxury
This was my second time staying here, but this time was even better! Both times were girls trips. From the moment we arrived until the time we left we had an amazing time. Woke up every morning with a beautiful view and listening to the waves hit the shore. I don’t think any room could have a bad view. My favorite part was how we were taken care of poolside. Elizabeth was our server on Monday and Tuesday and she was absolutely amazing! She took the time to find out our names and was always checking on us. Not only that, she took the time to visit it with us and get to know us. Sweetest lady it’s the sweetest smile. Hugo was also amazing. He took care of our umbrellas for shade and made sure we were good throughout our time by the pool. Both he and Elizabeth told us goodbye and gave us hugs when we left. I will definitely look for them when I go back! The food and drinks were also wonderful, but for me Elizabeth and Hugo made our trip the absolute best!
My experience at GFACB was a bit different from a lot of these reviews. After 10 nights at the end of July, I'm left with one thought: you don't get a second chance to make a first impression. We arrived around 5pm after a full day of travel, greeted by an enthusiastic bellhop, good start. Then we joined the check-in line, where "busy" was putting it mildly. Twenty minutes later, we were registered and ready to lock in the dinner reservations everyone raves about. But first, we had to fend off the "concierge" whose real job title is vacation club salesperson. She approaches like she's there to help you enjoy the resort; she's actually there to sell you a piece of it. We politely declined and moved on. The dinner reservation line took another 25 minutes. Pro tip: skip asking for specific times and just ask what's available each night. It moves faster, and we still ate everywhere we wanted, just not always on the night we wanted. Reservations done, we hit one final line for the elevators. There's a sign capping capacity at 4 people, which apparently is more of a suggestion than a rule, since nobody was enforcing it. Once we caught on, we stopped waiting politely and just squeezed onto the next available car. All told, it took us close to an hour to get from the lobby to our room. In fairness, it was a crowded day, and the resort doesn't control when guests arrive. But the vacation club pitch dressed up as hospitality? That's a hard no for me, it feels dishonest to pretend it's a service when the real goal is a sales pitch. Now, the setting is gorgeous. Isla Contoy, on the other hand, was rough. They've strung netting around the entire restaurant to keep the birds out, but the birds have clearly found the loopholes. They circle like tiny fighter pilots, waiting for you to look away from your plate or the buffet, then swoop in to walk across the food and treat the place like a drive-through restroom. Meanwhile, the open-air beachside taco spot, no netting at all, barely had a bird problem when we ate there. Go figure. Most resorts I've visited in Cancun use a falconer to keep the birds in check. GFACB might want to look into that. Last thing: the lounge chairs. Plenty of them, sure, even if you sleep in. But most sit about 12 inches apart with zero shade. Picture it, you finally roll out of bed, grab a leisurely breakfast, and settle in for some relaxation, only to find your new best friend is me, one foot away. These are just my observations, and I know your mileage may vary. But they happened, and I think anyone considering GFACB deserves the full picture, good and bad. One thing I suspect we'll all agree on: the staff is friendly and genuinely eager to help.
The service is spectacular! They wait on you hand and foot! Every need met and anticipated.
There are some sales people right as yoy come off the elevator that will try to get you to come to a presentation forva vacation club. They wereca little much.
Plenty of food options from the buffet to restaurants. However, if close to capacity, you may need to book well in advance which can be a little inconvenient when you are on vacation and trying to relax from schedules.
Be very mindful when booking and the room terminology and definitions they use. Ocean View is not what you would expect. It is the first two floors and may be on a side. Since you are on the lower levels, you may not be able to see much of the ocean. We were in a side, first floor room and the only ocean we could see was from outside on the balcony if we looked far left and beyond the trees, courtyard and pool. I was told for that you need to be higher and book what they call Ocean Front to have a good view of the ocean.
The hotel is really nice and centrally located to shops and night life. It’s Mexico!! The room I had was an “upgrade”, very spacious and was able to walk right out to pool and beach from the ground level. Only thing was that the room smelt a little mildew-ish. The beach was beautiful and the pool was nice when not that many people inside. The fact that it was all inclusive was great, and the food was pretty decent. We enjoyed ourselves everyday. Thank you Grand Fiesta for this wonderful experience. Also you can walk the beach all the way to the light house. Just be careful of rocks and wear swimming shoes. Water is really turquoise blue and colder down that end. ***Oh and there’s no seaweeds on the beach because the hotel is protected based on the way it positioned, so that sealed the deal for us!
The service and facilities are absolutely outstanding! I barely asked for anything as my every need was anticipated. The food is delicious. Rooms and beds are fabulous. Would definitely recommend it. Will be going back.
It’s was a wonderful I definitely would come back to this property me and my family we had a great time together
There is nothing for me not to like it was an awesome experience

The staff is knowledgeable and always ready to help. The food is delicious, with so many choices to satisfy even the picky eaters. The menu at the specialty restaurants is also great. They have activities for all ages.
The high TripAdvisor rating is absolutely earned — and here's why We've stayed at a number of all-inclusive resorts over the years and the Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach sits comfortably close to the top of that list. From the moment we arrived, the standard of service set this property apart. The staff are the real stars. Every single person we encountered — whether passing in a corridor or asking for help with something specific — was courteous, warm and genuinely willing to assist. Special mentions are very much deserved: Carlos in Concierge was outstanding, he moved us in and came over to speak to us anytime he saw us in the lobby. The ladies at reception were professional and welcoming throughout. Dolly in Sales and Paola and other staff in the restaurants were also brilliant. It is rare to encounter such consistently excellent service across an entire team and it really does elevate the experience. The food exceeded all expectations for an all-inclusive. We made a point of visiting all the restaurants during our stay and every one of them impressed. The seafood restaurant became our go-to for lunch — we loved it and returned most days. The quality, variety and presentation were great. Beach service was equally impressive. The staff delivering food and drinks to your sunbed were fantastic — quick, friendly and a genuinely fun touch, the wings are delicioso. The beach itself was kept impeccably clean and the waters were beautifully calm, making it ideal for swimming and relaxing. The lobby bar served properly branded spirits — Jameson and similarly quality options — which is something that matters and is not always guaranteed at all-inclusive properties. No unbranded substitutes here. The 24-hour service was a welcome bonus. On evenings when we returned late from excursions, it was reassuring to know that food and drinks were still available. A small detail, but one that shows the hotel's commitment to genuine hospitality at all hours. Honestly, there is very little to find fault with here. The beach, the food, the drinks, the rooms, the service — it all comes together beautifully. I would return without hesitation and recommend this hotel wholeheartedly to anyone considering it. Do not let the high rating surprise you; it is thoroughly deserved.
Had a wonderful time in this resort. It was my first time traveling with family and the staff made us feel very welcoming. They were very helpful. Food was amazing. The shrimp ceviche was very good, must try. Bartenders were on the spot. The resort was built back in the 90s, the rooms are a bit outdated but in all honest the pools, the restaurants, the drinks, and the beach and the friendly staff make up for all of it. I do have to say it’s very well cleaned. Definitely, a wonderful resort to stay and enjoy.
Great dinner and show at hibachi! One of the best hibachi show we’ve ever seen! Thank you
We had another amazing stay at Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach! Every visit reminds us why we keep coming back year after year. A special thank you to our poolside server, Alex. He is always so attentive, friendly, and genuinely kind. We make it a point to sit in his section because we know we'll receive exceptional service and have a wonderful experience. Nereyda Barreda was incredibly informative and helpful whenever we had questions. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was truly first-class. Pam was also so accommodating and made scheduling our family photos quick and easy. Our photographer, Yasmin, did a fantastic job capturing beautiful family memories that we'll cherish for years to come. I'd also like to recognize the gentleman who prepares coffee each morning at Coral Café. I didn't catch his name, but his warm smile, positive attitude, and excellent service made every morning start on a happy note. Another member I would like to recognize is the manager from Isla Contoy. I believe his name might be Raul or it starts with a R. He is always so friendly and made sure we were well taken care of during dinner. The food was absolutely delicious throughout our four-night stay, and every member of the staff made us feel welcomed and valued. Thank you, Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach, for another unforgettable vacation. We already can't wait to return next year!
The choice of food for breakfast. Unable to make dinner reservations where I wanted. The amount of noise (music) past 10pm in the area where I was located. That all the chairs at beach/pool get reserved with a towel when no one was around for hours.
Location and food was exceptional. Staff very helpful and professional.
Starting to age a bit, but still a great 5 star experience and priced well for what you get.
It is well maintained, super clean, great location
Location- easy access to shopping center, beach front and so many activities to choose from. Food and drinks- they have variety and all-inclusive is an awesome package.
The hotel is big with so many guests and I think if you can provide different locations for buffet, that will be massive improvement considering guests had to wait in the queue for buffet.
It was clean the staff was amazing and on top of everything!
Everything
Chantal, Luis and Ivan made our stay so much more enjoyable. Excellent workers that treat you like royalty. We're coming back next July and hope to have them as our pool concierge and waiters. Thank you!
Ivan was super nice!! Great service.
Edgar was such a great host. He made our hibachi experience 10/10. Funny, charismatic and so entertaining.
Edgar did an Amazing show, courteous, professional and fun.
Chef Edgar @ Torri was nothing short of amazing. He made our experience absolutely warm and memorable.
Our dinner in La Basilic (French 6 course menu) was absolutely outstanding! A small upcharge to dine here but well worth it. We saw a beautiful ballet performance during dinner (in the restaurant) and our server David was amazing. Highly recommend making this restaurant part of your stay.
Havana Club Steakhouse – Mixed Experience We were looking forward to dining at Havana Club Steakhouse, but unfortunately our visit fell short of expectations. The service felt inattentive — our table appeared to be deprioritized. It took well over an hour for our food to arrive after ordering. When the meals finally came, my baked potato was cold. Additionally, there was a mix-up with our orders: the server brought incorrect items and had to remove food from my plate to transfer it to my child’s plate at the table. This was our experience during our stay at Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancún. We hope management can address these service and kitchen coordination issues to better match the restaurant’s premium positioning.
Edgar was FANTASTIC! I took my daughter and my grandmother for her 80th birthday and he made our experience wonderful.
The Habbchi cook was super good and he’s the goat
Amazing experience . Luis was amazing!!
Great service, super funny and inclusive of everyone sitting at the table !
Luis was a spectacular host chef! By far my favorite ever! And his cooking is spectacular
Very nice food and experience! Luiz is amazing guy!
Amazing show and food my family and I had so much fun!!
We were celebrated iour eighth year wedding.Anniversary, and they made us feel so special that it was an amazing experience
We debated various hotels & resorts in the Cancun area and are so glad that we settled on Grand Fiesta Americana. The price point makes it more than a simple summer getaway, it was an investment for our family. And worth it! The atmosphere is relaxing and elegant (once we learned the rules, like men have to wear sleeves in the buffet!). The pool is pristine, the beach was the cleanest that we've seen... especially with the sargassum issues plaguing the Riviera Maya. My kids loved the shows, my mom loved the classes, my husband loved the drinks, and I loved the pool. There was something for everyone!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here! We stayed for three week and was so well taken care of! From the restaurants, to the pool area, to the bartenders (shout out to Marco at the downstairs bar!) The spa is simply amazing - like you are transported to another world! You won't want to leave. The biggest highlight was kids club. Our 4 yr old would beg to go every single day. They have the main one during the day that had so many wonderful activities, ranging from arts, dance, cooking and more, to the evening one that was available starting at 6. Every single team member was amazing and treated our little one so well. We specifically made it a point to go see them the day we were leaving so we could give hugs. We'll be back before the end of the year for another stay!
Wilbert was amazing! He put on the best show for hibatchi and was so accommodating with my dietary restriction. Highlyyyy recommend.
Amazing, Wilberth is an artist ! Go see him. Food is great! He throws the egg yolk to the air and get it intact with the spatula without breaking it! You just see this!
Lovely time with family! Great staff Luis chef and Romualdo!
One pool area is clearly marked for adults only. The selection of restaurants is excellent. Music in the lobby bar every evening (we are dancers). The Havana Club is fun (we are dancers). The new lobby decorations and seating are very nice.
The music in the lobby bar was not advertised on the events screens; this makes day planning difficult; the lobby bar staff apparently were not informed either.
La atención, el servicio, los restaurantes 10 de 10
Waiting for long time to get food
The rooms are nice and the food is much better than any other AI I’ve been to
Amazing location and five star service all the way !!
Some of the regular food options were not that good. The bikini bar and the lunch time options a little disappointing in terms of food taste. But overall everything was fresh and service was incredible!
avoid. good reviews seems to be old. recently it has gown way downhill.food and service is really bad.
Stranden.
Vannet i bassenget var veldig varm.
Beautiful resort, great restaurant selections, and welcoming staff! Carlos at the Sunset Pool was very attentive and friendly, providing excellent service to us all week! Jorge at the breakfast buffet was very welcoming and accommodating to find us a great spot to enjoy breakfast. Sara at the front desk was very warm, friendly and welcoming when we arrived, guiding us through what we needed to do. Breakfast buffet had the best selection every morning. It was a wonderful week of being pampered. The shows every night were incredible!! Mny restaurant choices and was handy to book reservations right away. Rooms slightly outdated but resort was clean with a hard working staff.
Great experience. Although food options are limited but quality of food was great. The rooms were very good and had great sea views. The best part of the stay was the Kidz club. They took such great care of the kids when we planned to enjoy the pool, beach and shopping for ourselves, that is also important. I wish they increase their restaurant options as an all inclusive hotel.
Overall: Highly DO NOT Recommend. Service like a 1 Star hotel. Food like a 2 star. Rooms like a 3 star. Location 4 star. Absolutely horrible experience as a customer. Starting from arriving in lobby , a small queue but took 40 minutes to get our turn and even after getting a turn another 20-30 minutes. Once u have a key you are then suppose to reserve your restaurants which has subpar food quality which took another 40-50 minutes in line. So all in all took 2 hours just to get started. If you are traveling with kid/s, it's frustrating. your day 1 which is suppose to be unwinding and relaxing goes into standing in a queue. I am surprised how the management isn't seeing this. The staff doing reservation weren't that helpful either, you have to ask all sort of questions in order to get some good information out of them , not sure why that's the case. Also they will just point you to scan the QR code. "Ofcourse everything is in it and you are sitting there to say that" Nice. Rooms were decent. The beach and pool are well maintained, and the property overall has a nice vibe, but the service and food really let the experience down. We've stayed at many similar resorts before, and this was by far the worst. The pool bar service was especially disappointing. Staff barely engaged with guests, and the drinks were some of the worst we've had. If you don't speak Spanish, be prepared for a tough time communicating. One tip: tipping upfront seems to get you faster, better drinks, the difference was noticeable. Front desk and bar staff were generally rude, though there were some exceptions. A few staff members were genuinely kind and helpful, even without speaking English. As for food, vegetarian options were seriously lacking, and overall quality felt subpar. The desserts and ice cream at Coral Cafe were particularly disappointing. As people who love coffee and pastries, this was hands down the worst we've encountered. While checking out we were asked to pay 75 USD as our 3 year old had almost lost the wristband. My wife was able to recover from the purse but again ridiculous. And fully avoid working with W2M as ur transportation. I would advise to look for other options if you are traveling with kid/kids and if you would like to have some good food.
We loved our stay at the Grand Fiesta! We had a room on the top floor and the view was amazing! We enjoyed all of the restaurants we tried. It was hard to get reservations at first, but we learned to check in on the day we wanted to go and see if there have been any cancellations. We also found you could go to the restaurant that night and check with them. The breakfast buffet line was long, but you can go the seafood restaurant near the beach and they have breakfast there with a nice view. They did a fun setup with dinner for one of the USA World Cup games. Our room was large and stayed cool. The property was well maintained and we loved all the shade. We never had a problem finding chairs at the adult pool. The staff we encountered were all great! We will definitely be back!
This was our second time visiting the Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach resort. We first went in July 2024 and now in June 2026. During both visits we were so impressed with the resort. It is an older resort, but it is very well maintained. They did some upgrades to the lobby, kids club and added three new restaurants!! The food is absolutely amazing!! From the buffet, restaurants, and pool side service, all the food tasted delicious and were great quality. This last time we stayed a full 7 days and wished we could have stayed longer. Special shout out and thanks to the service staff Veronica "Vero", Alex, Didi, Gilberto, Luis, and Gonzalo. Every day we were there at the pool, they provided top notch service. Vero cooked us some wonderful dishes at the poolside bar so be sure to befriend her! I know I forgot some other staff members to mention, but everyone there was absolutely amazing!! We plan on going back next year with additional relatives.
This was a memorable experience. I love the location of the hotel. The beach was always clean in spite of the seaweed season. Every morning I looked forward for my latte prepared by Maria, and the rest of the team Ruben and Lucy at Corak Cafe. It followed by breakfast at Vina del Mar. The host and hostess, Jorge and Marisol always received me with a smile. The food was amazing. I had dinner at La Joya, Chianti and Na’kaax. (Dinner A’la cart) I can share this much: The chefs are exceptional and very talented) . Specially chef Pablo from Chianti whom I had the opportunity to meet thanks to my server (I am sorry I forgot your name). But the food was just beyond my expectations. The team from Na’kaax was great Ricardo, Raul, Rubicel and Flor made me feel very welcome and their customer services was just on point. I also must mentioned that the 3 leches cake from La Joya was the best 3 leches cake I ever had. It was moist, flavourful and yet firm. I will dream about it forever. I also had an amazing treatment from a Carlos from the pool and the kid who never failed to open the umbrellas for me. I have visited the area before but ai can say that this has been the best experience of all and I will come back because I know it is all worth it. I can’t wait to share this with my kiddo and my family :) Congratulations on having the best staff!!!!
The staff went above and beyond to make our vacation special and memorable! The manager in the Infinity lounge was able to change our dinner resi to a more agreeable time slot for our family! April at the front desk helped me with ALL of my questions! Jonathan at La Basilic made our formal dinner very special and memorable!! This was our first time at an All Inclusive and we were a little nervous about the food quality, but our food experience at this resort was really really good! The mixology class with the chef from Argentina was so much fun and we learned SO much and we are forever her fans because of what she taught us about how to make non-alcoholic mock-tails!! The service at the beach was outstanding and we never had an issue getting a beach lounger and umbrella and service!! Everyone was SO happy and accommodating and the property grounds were beautiful. Our room was spacious and really cleaned. The couch was sticky for some reason all over and we thought maybe because of the humidity in the air, but it was so minor and not a bother. It would be nice to have more seating outside on the large patio and maybe even some comfortable sofa and comfortable chairs with umbrella type thing.
The show was wonderful and the food was fantastic! Bitalino was amazing!!!
Location is extremely nice. Waterfront is beautiful.
All inclusive is good value, but not the best in terms of specialty restaurants. I main restaurant is very good. The specialty restaurants not so much.
La ubicación. La Vista al mar, las áreas comunes son hermosas y los restaurantes de mucha calidad
No encontré nada que me disgustara durante mi estadía
This was the most terrifying experience our family has ever endured. Our 3-year-old son nearly drowned in the pool after becoming trapped at the end of the pool. He required emergency medical treatment, was transported by ambulance, and spent an entire day in the hospital. His medical care has already exceeded $10,000, and no family should ever have to experience what we went through. What made this even more upsetting was what we witnessed during the emergency. We did not see a lifeguard present around the pool when this happened. While waiting for emergency responders, staff attempted to administer oxygen, but the only mask available appeared to be adult-sized and did not fit a small child. In such a critical situation, every second matters. To make matters worse, after everything our family had just been through, the hotel charged us $200 for calling the ambulance. We found that response incredibly insensitive and disappointing given the circumstances. At a time when our only concern was whether our son would survive, being presented with an ambulance charge reflected a shocking lack of compassion. We are beyond grateful that our son survived. However, this incident exposed serious concerns about emergency preparedness and guest safety. We sincerely hope the hotel carefully reviews its emergency response procedures so that another family never has to experience this nightmare. If you are traveling with young children, I strongly encourage you to carefully consider whether this is the right property for your family. For us, the lack of visible lifeguard presence during our emergency, the apparent lack of appropriately sized emergency oxygen equipment for a small child, and the hotel's handling of the situation have permanently destroyed our confidence in this resort.
My husband and I chose Grand Fiesta Americana for our wedding and were thrilled with the experience! From day one of booking, our resort coordinator, Brenda, was very helpful and insured everything was in place for the wedding. The property was beautiful, the food was amazing, and the employees all made us feel welcomed. We had 40 friends and family traveling with us and the resort made the room booking process very simple. We are already planning our anniversary trip and can’t wait to go back!
Vitalino was an amazing entertainer/chef. He made it very fun and personalized. We enjoyed his time and energy throughout the meal! He even made our daughter’s birthday extra special. We say ask for him!

Everything was great.
