The room rate was quite high considering the facilities and overall experience provided. The breakfast was average and offered limited variety. Upon arrival, there was no one available to assist with my luggage apart from the receptionist, which was disappointing. Overall, while the property has potential, it does not currently offer value for the price charged. I would recommend reviewing the room rates or enhancing the facilities and services to better match guests' expectations.

When i arrived the reserved room was not what i booked. But the staff quickly changed it to better room with spacious bathroom. The breakfast was excellent.

The noise maintenance next to the room I was staying I wasn’t informed of what was happening or about to happened it was very loud couldn’t focus. No one had the decency to tell me or asked me if I wanted to move to another room after complaining that’s when they said it shouldn’t have taking that long. It was almost every day for 3 days. And the food got sick after eating this fish wasn’t fresh and the bread taste old frying the fish that night I had diarrhea had to call for tea something for stomach pain. They need to do better, when you order a meal you don’t get everything you asked for. Something is always missing. Burger not cook inside meat is raw when I asked well done. Very greasy again the taste of the oil is disappointing. Breakfast almost the same thing every day.

Das Frühstück war gut für ein Mittelklasse Hotel. Heißes Wasser für Teezubereitung gab es immer. Mitglieder der Copa Fluggesellschaft aus Panama und Militär-Angehörige benuzten es auch. Ein großer Super-Market und Banken waren in der Nähe.

Die Ausstattung mit Schränken könnte größer sein.

My wife and I had a great experience staying here. We were greeted and helped by Dary. I remembered her professionalism and hospitality from my last visit and was hopeful she would be there again during our visit. Having the right people at your hotel makes all the difference. As a Platinum member I have dealt with countless hotel staff and appreciate great service when I get it. Thank you Dary and Courtyard Marriott Santo Domingo.

The hotel was better than I expected. The room was quiet, which is rare in SD. The breakfast buffet is quite good. The 24/7 gym is sufficient. There is a pool area and patio in the back that is understated but tranquil. Wi-fi was strong. My large (K size) bed was comfortable. Hot water was consistent in the shower. Staff was friendly and spoke English. The restaurant and lobby have lots of places to sit down with your laptop, have a coffee, watch a sports game.

The TV didn't have many shows in English, but I don't watch much TV and have a laptop, so not a big deal. One elevator was out of service, with one remaining, during my stay. Hotels in the DR are not as nice as in the US, even the same brand/chain, but this one was good overall. Oh, the power went out one night, but came back on within a minute.

#Courtyard by Marriott Santo Domingo as soon as I arrived at the hotel on Saturday they charged me 722 dollars at the end of the paid nights they asked me to pay back because otherwise they wouldn't let me go up to the room and so I paid for three days they deducted the money from my credit card I repaid another three days later they redeemed the money on my credit card and now they have taken another 722 dollars in addition to having also taken money from my wife's credit card it's truly a scandal now I will contact the Guardia di Finanza and the journalists to report what you are doing It's absolutely not right But what are you doing you even take the money today the 14th? since September 27th? a scandal Alessio Sundas #Courtyard by Marriott Santo Domingo

El desayuno aunque empezaba a las 7 y nosotros estuvimos a las 10, no estaba fresco. No nos gustó! Pero en general, condición del hotel, habitación, y el personal, todo muy bien. Volveríamos!!

1 lift was stuk. Waardoor je vaak lang moest wachten. Het ontbijt / eten was niet oke. Als iemand had gegeten werd de tafel later pas schoon gemaakt en opgeruimd. Bijna niemand van het personeel kon engels. Het ontbijt was karig. Broodjes waren droog. En er was niet veel keuze. Als je “laat” kwam was meeste op en werd niet goed bijgevuld.

First of all, we had to change the initial date and Mrs.Daisy was a very sweet and helped us with that over a phone call . Then she happened to be the same person who greeted us on checking-in a really sweet lady she was the highlight for me and my wife staying at that property. The room service was great, professional hospitality was good. Room was clean and the staff in general was nice.

Now this is where I have mix emotions, about this property. There was 2 charges to my account at 3:00am one for 74.11 and the other for 21 USD, I called in the morning to confirm what was the reason of this, I was told by the front desk guy, that it was a deposit that was placed on hold on my account that was not taken initially, to which I replied that’s a mistake because it was placed initially and the lady was very clear and professional and took it on check in, then he stated it was because of a room service to which I acknowledged and said I didn’t know room charges was taken before check out he did not give a clear answer to that. At check out now I spoke to the same guy at the front desk so he can explain to me so, I understand for future reference while staying there and avoid any confusion, To which he stated (Like if I was slow in a condescending manner) the whole amount was put on hold and now he haves to charge me once I leave and that the whole stay was 30thousand pesos, to which I explain to him that he is mistaken and when I pull my phone out with the initial charges including the room service and stay fare, he was lost for words over the 95 dollars extra charge and try to dismiss it, seeing he’s error and inform me it will be returned to my account and that yes it’s 20,000 pesos total. After I handed him my card he proceeded to give it a little stroke like he was gone break it and said “what you want me to do with this break it?” and gave me my card back which let me with a sower taste just at the end of the stay. I would have given a lower score base on that interaction alone, with that arrogant guy at front desk, but it would not hadn’t been fair to the good outstanding work of everyone else in that establishment. It should never be a problem for a customer to want clarification of what and why there’s a charge. But everything else was great.

El baño no tenia puerta en la ducha por lo que el piso se mojaba mas de lo debido y solo tenia ducho en techo no de mano, no tenian kit dental para room service. Las almohadas no eran tan cómodas.

I like quiet places. So this hotel fitted my style well, though I needed to put the AC off at night because I could not handle the degree of noise it makes. I know a local who helped me some errands I needed to do. So I cannot talk much about how accessible to services the hotel is. Overall I liked it there and I will likely go back though I like hotels on the malecón for the view they offer.

The idea of guests can do their laundry is very good.

Such an amazing example of 5 Star customer service. I am an Ambassador Elite member, this means that between business trip and vacations I spend about 160 nights every year at a Bonvoy Marriott property for the past 8 plus years. I was at this property for 9 days and it stands out as one of the best as far as interactions with ALL employees that we interacted with. I am absolutely blown away by the very high level of customer service displayed by VERY SINGLE associate I interacted with. Kudos to the team and obviously to the management team of this property. From the parking attendant, to the front desk team of Sandy, Dary y Ileana. They are some of the best front desk staff I have ever interacted with. Little details, great recommendations for local spots, huge smile 24/7 and something that I have not seen from stateside front desk in years, when they give me my room keys or document, they step out of there are and provide the key cards or document with the double hand presentation face to face out if their station. The Kitchen & Bar was just as amazing, great food. Rolando, Jose and all others were simply 5 Star service. Housekeeping staff…5 Stars as well!! I can go on and on, all in all, if you want an amazing stay, this is were you want to stay.

Good hotel but not keep the booking room rate

It would be very helpful to have drawer for clothes, simply put, there is not enough room to keep your clothes in order

I am very familiar with this property, having stayed over 150 nights since 2017. I would particularly like to recognize Susan, Angelica an d Pedro of the bar and restaurant.

The hotel was very pleasant and clean, and the staff were very friendly. The reason I gave only an "average" overall rating is because the breakfast (both the food and drink and the service) was absolutely terrible. Other than the breakfast, the hotel is very nice.
