Warm welcome on our arrival, bed comfortable and location for the ferry port (only 20 minutes) Staff in the dinning room, very helpful and friendly.

I thought breakfast was over priced at €14.50 pp for continental buffet, especially when I would only have a soft drink and toast. Maybe they could offer a different price to cover this. They don’t offer snacks at the bar like booking.com says but there is a shop 7minute walk. Someone set off the fire alarm at 2am, just a few of us guests evacuated into the carpark others were in there room watching through the window but the staff didn’t have a clue what to do. (Thankfully it was a false alarm) but no apology from the staff the next morning of the incident.

Good location to catch D-Day tour and the museum. The breakfase was great and dining was good for the couple of days that we stayed. The room air conditioning would shut off around 10:30pm, once we realized this we were able to sleep comfortably. Also, there is no lift in this hotel. The clerk did offer to assist with our lugguage but we managed to get our luggage up and down from the 2nd floor.

The location was great, a five minute walk to the Caen war memorial & 15 minute drive to Pegasus Bridge. The room was clean & the bed was comfortable ish, If you like a softer bed. The air-conditioning was very effective, so the room stayed at a comfortable temperature for sleep. The restaurant had a small menu but the food we had was great. Breakfast was also pretty good when compared to other hotels in this bracket.

The bathroom was quite small & the bed was a little on the soft side for me. Although it was perfect for my wife. There is no kettle in the room. There is a coffee making machine but I don't like those coffees & much prefer a kettle.

Great location for visiting the Caen Memorial and very easy to find. Lovely staff, very warm welcome.

La piscine chauffée et les serviettes mises à disposition. L'équipe d'accueil du matin (un monsieur), qui malgré un problème technique avec la climatisation du bâtiment durant la nuit a été très agréable. Bien localisé si vous souhaitez visiter le mémorial uniquement.

L'équipe d'accueil du soir (une jeune femme). Nous aurions apprécié être mieux pris en charge lorsque nous signalons un bruit anormal avec la clim dès notre arrivée dans la chambre. Nous répondre "vous pouvez la couper" n'est pas du tout adéquat, d'autant que nous venions notamment pour être au frais. Après avoir insisté nous avons pu changer de chambre malgré quelques commentaires désagréables "par contre vous n'avez rien touché dans la chambre ?" Un sourire aurait également été apprécié. Le ménage en chambre est imparfait, nous avons retrouvé un objet sous notre lit, et le lit n'a pas été fait lors du passage quotidien. Il est un peu loin du centre ville et se situe sur une colline.

le déjeuner, devait être bon mais suivi du réassortiment fait défaut, plus d'omelette , plus de baguette!!!. nous avons du réclamer avec attente de cuisson bien sur. j'ai fini mon déjeuner avec une baguette très chaude. Et je suis venu déjeuner à 8h30 . Je pense que le personnel est jeune et inexpérimenté.

Prima ontbijt, heerlijk met koffie, verschillende zoete en hartige dingen, fruit, yoghurtje, appelsap/jus d'órange. Erg goed gelegen, vlakbij de rondweg naar de verschillende invasiestranden, mooie uitvalsbasis. We waren van 's morgen op tijd tot 's avonds half zeven - zeven uur op pad, dus niet gezwommen.

Na 2 (van de 3 nachten) hadden we de kleine handdoekjes ter vervanging aangeboden. Maar er was niemand in/op onze kamer geweest om iets om te ruilen/verschonen/op te maken. Kamer 253, vrijdagmorgen 1 aug.

The receptionist pretends she can't speak English to some people then speaks very good English to others ??? We speak French very well and realised that she does it as a joke-NOT funny to the people who had been travelling all day with 2 young children. We tried to cancel our booking 2 weeks in advance because our meeting was cancelled (as we explained) but were told No. The wetroom floods the bedroom if you don't use the mop whilst showering btw.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, alles sehr ordentlich und sauber, freundlicher Aufenthaltsbereich, gute Anbindung an die Stadt per Bus.

Frühstück könnte besser organisiert werden, alles etwas chaotisch… Tat dem Aufenthalt aber keinen Abbruch!

J'aurais aimé une ambiance plus feutrée dans le restaurant (ne serait-ce qu'une bougie ou petite lumière sur les tables).

Ontbijt werd de eerste dag onvoldoende aangevuld (stokbrood, borden, potjes voor confituur, servetten,... De ontbijtmedewerkers maakten een sjofele indruk. Kamer bij bovenkomst aan de trap. Gaf als voorkeur een kamer ver van de lift, rustig. Net boven aan de trap is net het omgekeerde.

Check-In und Check-Out klappen auch bei größerem Andrang gut. Das Restaurant ist gut bewertet. Das Bad sah sehr einladend aus. Parkplätze gibt es wirklich mehr als genug und man fühlt sich sicher. Das Memorial ist direkt um die Ecke und das Hotel liegt weit genug außerhalb, dass man es mit dem Auto wirklich erreicht.

Das Bett besteht aus Einzelgestellen, die kontinuierlich auseinander rutschen. Der Pool sieht auf den Fotos sehr viel einladender aus, als er es in echt tut. Tatsächlich wird er nämlich direkt von den Parkplätzen umrundet und alles ist sehr beengt.

Le personnel était aimable et réactif. La piscine était agréable et peu fréquentée. La chambre était confortable et propre. Il y avait toujours de la place sur le parking gratuit devant l'hôtel.

La chambre était bien, mais un peu en-dessous de ce que l'on pourrait attendre pour son prix. Surtout, le petit-déjeuner était catastrophique. Le choix n'était pas mauvais, mais gagnerait à être plus fourni (fromage blanc, etc.) De plus, il manquait en permanence quelque chose : assiettes, baguette, œufs, café... qu'il fallait systématiquement demander. Les œufs brouillés étaient froids et les viennoiseries médiocres. N'espérez pas du pain sans gluten, même si on vous annonce qu'il y en aura. Le pompon : un matin, le personnel a débarrassé la table où nous avions posé deux verres de jus d'orange et des croissants le temps d'aller chercher nos cafés (à notre retour 2mn plus tard, d'autres personnes avaient déjà pris notre table débarrassée).

Sought a not-too-expensive place in Caen for one night and SURE hotel popped up and proved to be a generally good choice. Nice pool for the boys to let of steam in. We booked two rooms as there were no family rooms (or they were all booked). Car parking right in front of the hotel.

Cocktails at the bar were pretty steep in price (and using pre-mixed cocktail flavouring c.f. the real deal). And food as prepared on the premises was also not cheap. Depending on your needs you could go Uber and order in.

Having a pool was great, especially after a long day in the heat. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant was good.

There forn3 nights and the room wasnt visited by housekeeping once, not even the bin emptied.

Nous avons séjourné seulement une nuit, nous avons pris le petit déjeuner proposé par l’établissement. Ce petit déjeuner est facturé trop cher par rapport à la qualité de l’offre (14€ par personne). Il n’y a pas de variété de pain de proposé, c’est de la baguette blanche industrielle distribuée au compte goutte, quelques tranches de pain de mie et des pancakes, des minis viennoiseries peu fraîches…quid des personnes qui ont un régime alimentaire sans gluten…. Le distributeur de fromage blanc n’est pas assez frais, très peu de fruits frais sont proposés, la charcuterie ne semble pas suffisamment au frais et il n’y avait pas d’œufs….Certes, on nous a dit qu’il y avait eu un problème d’approvisionnement mais quand un établissement met en avant son petit déjeuner, il faut tenir son engagement surtout en haute saison. Les bouteilles de lait ne sont pas étiquetées… encore une fois qui des personnes intolérantes au lactose. Pour finir, la salle de bain a le bac de douche qui déborde si on utilise le pommeau plafonnier, peut être que la douche était bouchée.

The restaurant, the table vas "rocking" The food(beef) was not a good quality(elastic), and the knife was for butter. I know Best Western hotels, its normaiiy good, not this one...and no cheese...at all for the breakfast.

Super Lage auf dem Weg nach Süden, in direkter Nähe (fußläufig) zu dem sehr empfehlenswerten Memorial, einem Museum zur Geschichte des 2. WKs mit normannischem Schwerpunkt, und nicht weit von den Landungsstränden. Die Zimmer waren normal groß, die Betten bequem, es gab einen Kaffeekocher auf dem Zimmer. Das Frühstück haben wir nicht in Anspruch genommen, dafür aber im hoteleigenen Restaurant zu Abend gegessen und es war wirklich super. Man konnte beim Menu zwischen zwei und drei Gängen wählen oder einfach Bistroküche a la carte (z.B. auch Bowls) bestellen. Wir hatten u.a. Steak (großartig), Fisch und gegrillte Schweinestückchen, auch der Nachtisch war fantastisch. Und alles zu sehr gnstigen Preisen. Wir sind froh, dass uns die Müdigkeit zum Dinner im Hotel gehalten hat und wir nicht noch in der Stadt nach einem Restaurant gesucht haben.

Het hotel ligt in een rustige buurt en we kregen zoals gevraagd ook een rustige kamer. Het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ook het restaurant viel goed mee! Het buitenzwembad zag er zeer aantrekkelijk uit, jammer genoeg hadden we geen tijd om het uit te proberen!

Het ontbijt volstond maar er stond niet iemand bij om het op tijd aan te vullen! Drie van de vijf laadpalen voor de elektrische auto werkten niet, maar dat hadden we maar zeer laat door!

La habitación estaba bastante bien pero con las temperaturas de verano una pequeña nevera en la habitación no venía mal. La ubicacion es muy tranquila pero alrededor no hay nada de hostelería por lo que si no quieres coger coche tienes que cenar si o si en el hotel.

La chambre était vraiment très petite Une fois les valises posées, il était difficile d’accéder au lit Nous étions côté rue et nous avons entendu la circulation, les vitrages sont très mal isolés. Le personnel nous a proposé de changer de chambre pour les nuits suivantes.

Places de parking en suffisance et gratuites juste devant l'hôtel. Bon emplacement si vous souhaitez aller au Caen Memorial Muséum ou si vous souhaitez visiter la région en voiture.

Le style un peu "motel" avec la fenêtre de la chambre au rez qui donne sur le parking. Plus d'intimité aurait été appréciée. À part le restaurant de l'hôtel, peu d'offre de restauration.

Vuilbak te klein. Ontbijt viel tegen. We hebben maar 1 keer ontbeten met die reden. Bij de super U (café kitchen) veel betere ontbijtkoeken en betere koffie. Daarom hebben we daar ontbeten de andere dagen. Tip: Echte grote verse koffiekoeken, vers brood, verse pistolets. Ook zagen we toastbrood maar er was geen toaster? Fruit viel ook tegen. Er lagen nog 3 stukken fruit die er niet vers uitzagen. Er is nog wat werk aan het ontbijt! Voor de rest, zeer goed bezig. 😊

Morgenmaden var ikke særlig omfattende og personalet var ikke gode til at sørge for der var fyldt op. Dobbeltdyne er ikke optimalt, vi savnede enkeldyner.
