Very handy for disembarking or accessing the ferry. Easy access outside of reception hours.

The rooms are a little tired but quite acceptable and very clean.

Easy to find, smallish rooms but adequate for an overnight

Restaurant closed at weekends and not a lot of choice in the surrounding area.

Comfy bed and linen

It states Restaurant and food… Restaurant shut and No Food. Not good after a 6hr journey😠

Accueil 10/10 Restauration.

Ras

the staff were brilliant

room location

Matratze sehr durchgelegen. Fenster konnte man nicht auf Kipp stellen. Im Badezimmer roch es massiv nach Abfluss.

I checked in early and the room was ready.

They did not have a restaurant open for dinner at the hotel, as I expected.

Chambre petite salle de bain petite

Nothing

Cleanliness. Was awfull. Fir a family of 4 for 5 days the room was not at all suitable

Needed a stopover for an early Ferry back to the UK, this fitted the bill fine.

It was all a bit dated. No real issues as such. It was noisy and seemed to be used to house families as a lot of kids running about upstairs. To be fair they went quiet 10:30 ish.

Ottima colazione

Dotazione camere

Ras

Personeel was vriendelijk. Standaard hotelontbijt.

Comfortable good value ideal for cheap overnight stay

Nothing

Personale sorridente ,cortese e disponibile.

As instalações envelhecidas e antiquadas.

Keuken was dicht ivm vakantie. We moesten buiten ontbijten ivm de hond.

Easy access at midnight

Letti comodi e staff gentile

As an overnight stay it was great

Good bed. Nice staff. Good breakfast

The breakfast was great and service from the staff was very good.

The location wasn’t great. Nothing within walking distance but we got an uber into Caen for €10 euros. No air con and room very small on ground floor so people walking right past room when we’d opened the window to account for lack of air con.

O pequeno almoço razoável para o preço

O bar fecha muito cedo

Le confort de la chambre et le calme;

Very friendly staff. Room was clean and spacious for the 4 of us.

Air con was a bit noisy in the room.

Hôtel agréable. Place de stationnement gratuite. Petit déjeuner sur place. Calme.

Rien

Perfect position, easy to find, excellent staff. Perfect room for what we needed.

Our stay at Hotel Crocus was an unforgettable sensory experience. The room was comfortable, the staff was nice, and the location was good. The only issue was the bathroom ventilation system, an engineering masterpiece apparently designed to make sure that whatever happens in the toilet becomes a shared experience for everyone in the room. After my friend ate mussels for dinner, we discovered that Crocus offers something most hotels don’t: 4D accommodation.

Ventilation

Clean and receptionist was friendly and welcoming.

The bathroom of one of our rooms was like a ferry cabin bathroom and felt almost wobbly when I stepped into it.

Bra parkering utanför hotellet. Bra frukost.

Great location for Memorial museum and ferry port. Friendly staff.

Room was basic but OK

Breaksfast was poor

Good location for Normandy landing beaches only 25 mins from Arrowmanches by car, La Boucherie restaurant just a short walk down the road from hotel but also one on site with a bar and very good and reasonably cheap food. Rooms great with a kettle, no fridge but you could get milk from the bar/reception. Air con absolutely amazing! Actually got chilly one night and had to put duvet on!! Caen memorial museum just 3 mins down the road by car, huge, with very good cafe and a great overview of WW1, WW2 and Cold war. Have to mention Nicholas on reception for his amazing knowledge of the area, recommendations of things to do or not to do, his sense of humour, understanding of English and general 5* customer care. 😀

No lift and we were up in the top of the hotel so 2 flights of stairs everytime! Not great when 2 of the party have bad knees but Nicholas on reception amazingly offered to help us upstairs with our cases!

Staff molto gentile

Friendly hotel, convenient easy to find location with parking, self serve breakfast , very good value for money.

Compact rooms but everything you needed , except air conditioning (in a heatwave ) Would normally be ok .

Both reception and breakfast staff were very helpful and attentive. The hotel was handy for arriving at the ferry terminal.

The rooms were rather strange, resembling a caravan interior

Location, staff friendly and the price we paid was good value

Bar closed to early

Good attention Location

Noisy rooms

Very comfortable and convenient place with safe parking to stay for night before catching the early ferry. Did not have breakfast so can't comment on that. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Lovely little hotel. Great value for money. Easy access for an overnight stay for the ferry shops and restaurant close by. Parking on site.

Rien

The gentleman who checked us in was very helpful and friendly. Room good size. Had everything we needed.

Unfortunately the bath mat was not stuck down in the bath and we slipped, so check it first!

Very quirky but welcoming …the bloke on the reception desk was superb ( Nicholas) …we enjoyed a comfortable room …a very nice meal in the restaurant and big screen tv was laid on for the Eng / Argentina game …….a superb evening especially since ( forgive me ) i backed the winner!

WiFi started off quite strong but was a bit weak on occasions …..a minor problem

Wszystko ok

Nothing to dislike

Merci

Late booking in, Breakfast was lovely

No Air Conditioning

Staff were fantastic

Restaurant closed on weekends

Good hotel with parking, near restaurants, friendly staff. Good breakfast.

there was no kettle and no possibility to make coffee/tea

Going with reception was really friendly and really helpful made us stay extra special

Property was convenient only 20 minutes from the boat clean and comfortable
